Ordered a takeaway Sunday evening food delivered was awful chicken like rubber sauce burnt looked like it had been reheated several times naan bread doughy and wet in texture mint sauce half full onion bhajis not much better £25 what a waste even charge over a £1 for the bag rang to complain not interested accused of being threatening when I said will review on trip advisor , also said food was not burnt as it’s a gravy ?? Looked and tasted burnt to me .why are they still advertising under cove tandoori , never again £25 nothing to them it was to me

Delicious food, can’t rate highly enough . Had a delivery which came on time and was piping hot. Can’t wait for next meal from there

Strongly advise you not to order from here The food was awful. Had hairs in nan bread and curry. Chicken tikka look like come out of paint shop orange colour. All went to the bin. NOT impressed by the way the staff speak to their customers. Unfriendly, Rude & no respect. Spoken to owner Lisa khan she is worst of them very very rude. This place need to have a food inspection and I bed it will close Down.

Had a disappointing take away meal on 11 th November. We’ve had many good meals in the past, however the quality of the food on Friday was poor. In particular the vegetable curry was comprised of what I can only describe as ‘ grated vegetables’ with a couple of recognisable cauliflower florets. I submitted a review on their website the same evening and have received no response. I requested a refund.

Ordered a lamb biryani take away. Truly horrible. Tasted of a Vesta curry packet. Dry tough lamb. Not basmati rice for sure. The accompanying veg curry is tomato sauce poured on boiled veg. Thick uncooked Naan. How can they possibly pass this off as Indian Bangladeshi food. An insult to our culture. No wonder they are almost closed now with just Take Away

Excellent service and quality. My friend lives locally and whenever I visit, we have either have food delivered or eat in. I've been coming here for over ten years and I super fussy :-) Love this place, the staff are fab and the deliveries are always on time and pipping hot. Highly recommended.

Phone up this evening to order a take out, we went to collect and paid for our order to find out they have over charged us massively for our order also added 10% service charge for calling up and ordering which we were not made aware of, also did not confirm the price with us over the phone. Both curry’s had 3 pieces of meat in and food was not hot at all. When we got home we realised we have been over charged for what we had ordered so we called the restaurant up and the staff were really rude to us and would not offer an apology or any good will gesture. Very disappointed with this and will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Celebrating an anniversary and the staff were so attentive and quick, the food was delicious and we got some chocolates after too! Thank you so much for a lovely evening!

After trying out all the local Indian takeaways, Cove Tandoori is the highest quality food which tastes just like it would if you were dining in. We also like the fact you can order direct online via their website and earn loyalty points which is a significant saving. It’s become our regular go to Indian and we’re looking forward to eating in the restaurant soon.

We used their take away service and requested a mild version of Tiger Prawn Madras for my father in law. He had been looking forward to his special meal all day. We got to the restaurant at 5 p.m. as the web site said they open at that time, but the door was locked, I rang the number and they said they open at 5:30. The person taking my order said they can't do that but the Korai curry would be like that. When we got the food home, the SPECIAL Tiger Prawn Korai was like a thin soup with 6 prawns in it, the sauce just tasted of prawn (not curry). My wife's Chicken Korma was a mixture of Chicken and Tandoori Chicken, like it was made from left overs, some pieces we hard and burnt. My Lamb Madras was very hot, and would have been too hot for my father in law. The breads and rice were not pleasant either. My father in law was so disappointed, it ruined his evening.

Disappointed with the food as bland and tasteless …. How all the dishes could have been cooked fresh I’m not so sure as it was just over 5 mins from oredrring …!

Recently tried a takeaway from Cove tandoori.. as I have tried the poor takeaways curries in Fleet and wow what a find... I had the meat samosas...delicious and seekh kebab...delicious followed by garlic chicken and Bombay aloo and rice all delicious and not a drop...

We have used a number of take aways but locally Cove Tandoori is the best. Consistantly efficient, food is amazing and delivery is always quick. Last night our food was with us in 40 minutes and was both tasy and hot. Recommended.

This was our fourth order from Cove Tandoori in recent months and we will be back for sure. We have used their online takeaway service on all occasions. Their website is easy to navigate, a great menu choice with secure online payment or cash on delivery options. The food arrives well within the stated time, is always delivered to our door with a cheery smile and with all covid-safe precautions in place (distancing/mask etc). The food has been hot every time, generously portioned and delicious (and we are fussy when it comes to curry). We're not really big fans of takeaway food but the lockdown has introduced us to this experience and Cove Tandoori have won us over with their yummy food and excellent service. We will definitely be back for more and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. WOW, 1st Saturday of the 2nd lockdown and I fancy a curry, hmmm bad news for me as the 1st curry I tried to order let me pay for it then declined to deliver, Vindaloo Farnborough shame on you. So back to an old favourite, Cove Tandoori.Sorry that I cheat on you sometimes!! But you should always try other restaurants, but tonight you guys excelled, from on line order to my table within 40 Mins!! The cove tandoori has been here forever and has always been good the new owners have taken the food to a new level we have eaten in the restaurant and had take away I must say the food has been some of the best Asian food i have eaten.The menu is good with plenty of choices and takeaways always arrive quicker than the time quoted excellent taste and always hotwell worth a visit. We have ordered several takeaways and eaten in this year. The food is always delicious and service is great.

Can comment on the delivery service which was fine. The tandoori chicken tikka masala was very very bright orange (way too much food colouring) and stupendously sweet. It was so sweet it was like a very sweet desert. Not really what I had in mind.

We have not been to this restaurant since the change of ownership and we were very pleasantly surprised. I must say that it was the best Indian meal that I have ever had. Very friendly and welcoming staff, inside or outside eating and if you are fussy about what beer or wine you drink this is the place for you. You take your own and there is no corkage charge. All in all a wonderful evening.

We visited the restaurant on 11 July following the reopening of restaurants for our first meal out. We felt completely safe and relaxed. Staff were wearing the appropriate visors, gloves etc, seating for customers was separated and of course the food was delicious as always. Thank you for having us!

Have used Cove Tandoori for takeaway on a Saturday night for last 2 weeks, superb food & arrived in less than 30mins both times, menu excellent & surprisingly large in these current times. Go try it & see if I’m wrong

Was blown away after placing and order online, which was very easy, to have it delivered to my doorstep 20mins later. It was a Saturday evening so had expected a long wait. Delivery driver was very polite and friendly. The food was also delicious, very impressed. First time using their delivery service, having in the past visited the restaurant. The Cove has always provided great service and this time the they didn't disappoint.The food was delicious and piping hot.Delivery was just half an hour and it's always within the time given.Can't wait to have a meal in when circumstances allow.And their work for the NHS is amazing.

I am a regular customer of the Cove Tandoori. I ordered a curry for a birthday meal (as still in Lockdown) and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was piping hot when it arrived, and also arrived extremely quickly. The delivery driver was unable to find my apartment, but was polite and professional. My partner is a vegetarian and had a Saag Aloo side dish which was packed full of flavour. I’d recommend anyone to try this dish, even if you’re a meat eater, you won’t be disappointed!I am really please that the Cove Tandoori is offering deliveries, as I want to support them specifically during this tough time we are all facing. I am looking forward to when I can come to the restaurant again and see some familiar faces and hope they have kept well.No issues from me! I order from here each Friday & am never disappointed! The online ordering service is quick & easy & the contactless delivery makes me feel very comfortable. The food is outstanding, absolutely delicious & it’s something I look forward to every week.

Incredibly tasty food. Ordered the chicken dhansak and lamb jalfrezi, and the lamb was to die for. It was so tender and just melted in your mouth. The dhansak was the best I have had till date. The tastiest curries we have ever had. Quick pick up time and great service. Will be back very soon.

Good curries for a Sunday lunch buffet. Staff were really helpful and it was a really pleasant experience. Even better that they had no alcohol licence: we could bring with us whatever we wanted

The buffet was just incredible. At £12 I didn't expect much but by far the best display of buffet I have come across. They certainly don't cut corners on the quality of the food on the buffet. Everything was just so tasty and fresh. If the buffet food is this amazing I wonder what their takeaway and restaurant food is like. Will be moving to Cove Tandoori now for my regular takeaways. Highly recommended the buffet, extremely good value for money!!

This place came highly recommended and we were not left disappointed atall. Decided to try them last night for treating my wife to a valentines meal as she was home bound. Brilliant piping hot meal and service to the door. Even the ice creams came in their own iced cool box! The tomatoe hearts added just the extra bit of class to a takeaway meal!Superb value.

Ordered our valentines meal here and the whole takeaway was just delicious. We couldn't fault it. Delivery took a while but that was expected as it was Valentines night. They were busy which is a good sign. What made our evening was to find a heart made from tomatoes in our curries what a lovely touching idea. I love how they provide the same level of food presentation and service as they do when you eat in at their restaurant. And the food was as delicious and fresh as you could get it. Just perfect.

Placed a takeaway here at 7:15pm and didn’t receive the food until 21:05! 1 hour and 50 minute wait! When the food arrived we came across pieces of wood in our food containers which I now know were there to have a tomato placed on them which is meant to represent a heart which is a wonderful idea if you were eating in the restaurant but not when the food has been jumbled around in a container! It meant the toothpick was in the middle and I wasn’t best pleased when I took a big bite down on it, very dangerous! Also we had a chicken tikka masala which was more like a bowl of soup! It was swimming in water!! Not very impressed at all and with it being my local I was very disappointed in the delivery times!!

I have visited Cove Tandoori a number of times of the past few years and every visit it just gets better. The dishes are well flavoured and the naans are freshly made. They now allow bring your own alcohol which is brilliant. Will be back next week.

We ordered food for 40 people for a family party from Cove Tandoori. What can we say - we were blown away by the food and the whole organisation of the event. Everything was just perfect. They were very professional and delivered and served the food on time. Everything was fresh and of high quality. The lamb was just so tender. They arranged a menu to suit all our guests needs some of whom were vegetarian and provided plenty of choice. We will definitely use their catering service again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Ordered a takeaway last Friday for the first time and everything was great. Quick delivery and piping hot food. Flavour on my Madras was mind-blowing and the chicken just melted in my mouth. Will make this my regular now.

I always hated curry as its usually tasteless sauce, over cooked meat with too much chilli. My first visit here two years ago changed that, the food is consistently amazing with well cooked food done with care. The price is reasonable for the size and what you get, yes I'm sure the likes of wetherspoons do it cheaper but no where near the level of quality.

This was only our second visit to Cove Tandoori (we don't live nearby, friends do) but it was even better than our first visit, if that's possible.
