Super cute, cozy and quaint place to enjoy delicious food with the family. Icing on the cake was the kind and attentive staff who went the extra mile to make the 5 of us, including our 3 young kids, feel super welcome. They were so accommodating and we’ll be back! Thank you.

We had the pleasure of eating here on our trip to llangollen. The food was really tasty and came out piping hot. My husband decided to try a piece of lemon drizzle cake,its his favourite and he said it was the best he has ever tasted. We were served by two young men who were really polite and also efficient. We will definitely return on our next visit to llangollen

What a find ! The Bistro is absolutely spotless , the menu varied and the staff so friendly. They even serve “proper”tea complete with strainer! I will certainly return for a full meal. Thank you .

Popped in for a bite to eat a bit disappointed as the food came out first then the drinks about 15mins after. Food is lovely and a small menu with not much on it. Situated in Llangollen town grade listed building all decorated really well.

The food is ok. Ambience inside isn’t great but I imagine on a nice day sitting outside would be very pleasant. Unfortunately service was not good. Lots of tables presuming they had to go up to order as the table service was so slow, lots of chasing up bills which never came so had to go up anyway. Wouldn’t rush back. Dee Side cafe around the corner has better service and better value.

Lovely cafe. Got fast service and gorgeous carrot cake (gluten free). Probably the best GF carrot cake I’ve had. Top marks.

We just visited today and it was are first time there we had food I had Omelette and drink and my mum had Jacket potato with cheese she about to eat it and that wasp landed on her food and we ask nicely if she can get other one and man rolls his eye back but he didn't know we seen it and the bill came to £24.30 and I gave him £30 and say keep the change but won't go back there because end of the day customer comes first and they pay his bills.

I have been here a few times and always good food and service . Today I got served by a nice lady and asked if she new a window supplier and also a roofer as iam moving into the area in march she was so kind to help me . When I have time iam go to talk I going to ask if she can recommend.any business looking for staff as I have been in retail for over fifty years and I looking for part-time employment x

Really friendly staff, able to happily accommodate 2 couples and 4 children + 2 pushchairs! Really quick service and excellent food! Very reasonably priced! Will happily return!

Lovely little place with the most friendly staff. Came today for some lunch and had our cockapoo puppy who we are trying to get used to different environments with us. The place is very dog friendly and we were even offered some water for her. We had a full breakfast and a sandwich, both of which were delicious and fresh. Would recommend to anyone. This place looks like it gets very busy and you can see why as it's great!

What a gem of a find. On our way back from Llandudno, never ever stopped of in Llangollen before. We came upon the cottage twa rooms on our way to take photos over the bridge. This is obviously a family run tearoom. Food,service, and atmosphere were excellent. Tables cleared quickly, and orders were taken with adequate time to browse. This tea room was busy inside and outside. Lovely outside seating area. The prices were good. The food was homemade and delicious. We can recommend the Lasagne.

Delicious homemade tomato soup and great piri piri and cheese panini. Lovely pot of welsh tea. Service was speedy and staff were friendly.

Lovely place for lunch in Llangollen. Family of 7, for lunch on Satuday without booking. Busy place, staff work very hard, food amazing. We will be back. Some of our group are vegetarian, and we all found something nice to accommodate our different tastes.

Lovely chilled alfresco lunch. Lasagne was delicious. Tuna and mayo sandwich was yummy and ham and cheese panini was fabulous too! Nice relaxing atmosphere and staff were content and very friendly. Would definitely recommend and will visit again on our next visit.

Cracking tearoom. The piri piri and cheese paninni was delicious.

We stopped on our way home from Snowdonia for lunch. The menu had lots of options and we struggled to choose as there was lots we like. The food was lovely and service was quick. The staff were really friendly and looked after us well. The prices were good value also.

The staff cannot do enough for you, the food was lovely, a plenty of it. The rest rooms were spotless, definitely recommend a visit.

Called in on the way home from holiday had a breakfast standard size filled that gap ,they cut my toast so I could load it with food and the cup of tea was the best big pot of loose tea and enuff in the pot to have a few cups and there was still some left .Thanks

So glad we found this gem of a place, we received a really lovely warm welcome on arrival and throughout our time in the Tearoom. I sampled the Lasagne with side salad, Coleslaw and Garlic Bread. I then had the Traditional Welsh Cream Tea which was also very nice indeed. The tearoom is very dog friendly which was great for us as we were able to take our Jack Russell Terrier "Manx' in with us. The Omellete. Where do I even start. You think you've eaten a basic ham and cheese Omelette before, right? We've all knocked one up when the cupboards are bare. Well, let me tell you this...eat this Omelette at your own peril...as once you do. Nothing will EVER COME CLOSE! The eggs- Cooked to perfection. Crispy top and beautifully seasoned The fillings- Luxury ham, from what I can only presume, are the finest pigs in the country. The cheese was hot and gooey. Presentation - I thought I was on masterchef or something! I don't even have an Instagram account, but I created one just to post this award winning meal Summary- A little pricey at £10 but you get what you pay for. A fab little first date spot or somewhere to take your family after that long Sunday stroll. The cooking time was impressive, too. Order to table in less than 10 minutes. Final score B- (7.25/10)

We came here as a family,my wife and I had scones and jam, grandsons had a baked potato with cheese and beans and a cheeseburger n chips, my son had a omelette, really enjoyed the food, staff were brilliant especially with our Autistic grandson, very patient, recommended if you are in the area!

Decent enough but maybe felt a little bit like a tourist trap. The scones weren’t super fresh or high quality and honestly quite expensive. Staff were friendly

We have visited here previously and were very pleased that the change of owners have still kept the same high standards. The place is spotless and there is a large outside dining area. The staff are attentive and welcoming. The menu is good and varied with a great choice of hot and cold dishes. We were a party of 4 and we all chose different items and we all enjoyed our meals. We definitely recommend you try this lovely cafe.

Had: a tasteful ham sandwich with home made coleslaw and fresh salad. Also the panini with bacon, brie and cranberries was delicious. Good Pinot Grigio. One thing could be better: welsh draft instead of Spanish beer. Great view of street from patio table. Very service minded waiter.

In Llangollen for my birthday and this place is an absolute gold mine!!! Great food and really generous portions.. Thoroughly recommend!!! x

Absolutely lovely tea room! Friendly and kind waiters, with incredibly fast service. Excellent food - we had scampi, tea cakes, panini and soup of the day. Gluten free options were a great bonus especially the gluten free carrot cake! All enjoyed outside with our little pooch (dog friendly place) in the rare sunshine! Definitely recommend.

Popped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning, sat inside and the staff were very friendly and chatty. Full menu was available, food came in decent time and was delicious. Would go again

I visited Cottage Tearooms today and I was very impressed! The food was absolutely fantastic and cooked perfectly, reasonably priced too! The venue is clean, tidy and well presented inside and out. We sat outside (as the weather was nice). Staff are very welcoming and even though it was busy at the time, they were never too rushed to stop for you if you had a query. I couldnt fault it if I wanted to. Superb!

If you want poor quality food, then this place is ideal for you. If you like omelettes swimming in oil or lamb minty burgers without lamb or mint, and chips like 9mm bullets you won’t be disappointed honestly.

Breakfasts are great and so are the omelettes, staff really friendly and helpful, great prices and quick service and dog friendly

What a wonderful Sunday morning we had here before going rafting. Greeted by such friendly staff. Very chatty/engaging asking us if we had had a pleasant stay in the area etc. The Latte was served quick hot and was just what we needed before leaving. Very competitive price. Sadly we had already eaten in our camper as the food been served around looks fabulous! Next time 👍

The place itself is very quaint and keeps the traditional look and feel of a small Welsh dwelling. On a cold day it can be a little drafty, but this is to be expected from an authentic vintage building. The staff where very frendly but managed to mix up the orders dispite only having three customer. The most disappointing part was the quality of the food. Dispite the relative high cost of the meal, the ingredients where all very low quality and some of the food arrived cold. We had not problem exchanging it, but with only three customer this is very poor attention to detail.

Beautiful food the best service and happy to return again

Marvellous and really nice to our 3 sausage doggies too. The Victoria sandwich cake, according to my husband, was well worth the visit.

Stopped for an afternoon tea and scones on a day out. Lovely little place near the river. Very friendly staff. Dogs allowed 👍

The food was fresh but very average. Jacket potato was hard, cheese had no flavour and the pea soup was quite bland. The lattes had chocolate on the top 🤷 Small space and I don't think the owner likes noisy kids. She picked and chose which tables she went back to to see if everything was ok and to say just shout if you need me. I think most people were there because everywhere else was full. It's a shame really. We probably went on a bad day.

Lovely cream tea, the service was timely and the customers welcomed and most of all the staff were friendly.

Called in here had a lovely breakfast was with elderly parents who had a kids one and it was lovely would definitely return if in the area again

Quick service, fresh tasty BLT , popular can get crowded big outdoor eating space weather permitting ! Shame they use regular sliced bread Otherwise very good place for a tearoom experience

I ate here with my wife in spring 2022. We were really charmed by the look of it, and impressed with the food. I had the cheeseburger which came with sauteed mushrooms. It was juicy and cooked just right. The scones with clotted cream, tea and coffee were all spot on. We dined in the characterful whitewashed dining room, but the patio would be equally attractive in finer weather.

When we arrived a member of staff waiting to show us to a table. Quick service and food was delicious.

The staff were very polite and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Its a cute little café. The food we ordered was delicious, the steak on the baguette was a little overdone for my liking however was still very nice. Will definitely visit again.

Visited Llangollen yesterday and last time we were there we couldn't get a seat in the tea rooms as it was summer and really busy. We had a lovely breakfast served by very friendly people. It was served in minutes and piping hot. They also take debit/credit cards which for some reason many are only accepting cash. Thank you for a lovely breakfast.

Super tearoom with a lovely outside covered seating area. We ordered tea and bara brith, very reasonably priced and were served with 3 pieces each ! Half we packed up to save for the next day. Staff were friendly and efficient. The cafe is wheelchair accessible with a ramp down into the seating area, where there was plenty of room for the wheelchair. Not sure whether there is a disabled toilet as we did not go inside but it looked quite small.

New owners I believe. Staff very warm and welcoming. The food was excellent. Not to expensive and cooked to perfection. The coffee was the best ive had in ages. A1 all round. Eric & Sue.

Really awful fish and chips overcooked frozen portion left most of it. Dined there before so really disappointed in poor quality .Don’t bother for evening meal.

Very poor sandwich today. stale bread and ready mixed/made. Wish i took a photo. Came with a small ramekin dish of coldslaw, no salad garnish or crisps and £6.95!!! Very over priced. Lots of nicer cafes in Llangollen. Friendly staff but wont be returning.

Sat outside under parole, Lovely tasty breakfast, staff friendly and helpful, the only reason l did not give all 5 stars was because two gentlemen was aloud to smoke on next table while people around were having breakfast, the staff knew them as they were have chatting with them.
