Cote Brasserie- St Katharine Docks in Tower Hamlets

Service was quite fast which was appreciated at the end of a long day. Food was on point as usual at Côte Brasserie. It was full of flavour, piping hot and simply delicious. Portions are generous I could only do starter and main. Starter was the crab, main was the fish pie (I had at least 6 chunky prawns in there).

Thank you! The waiters bent over backwards to fit us in with a wheelchair without a booking on a busy Saturday evening. They even asked other customers to move for us to make it easier. Thank you to those customers and thank you for speedy efficient service. Great food & fabulous experience.

We were on our half-term Tour of London as a treat with an excited 7-year old great nephew. His special lunch request - a Burger! Which coincided somehow with husband getting his wish, to mooch around boats at St Kats marina! So it was great to spot Côte which is always very good. We had an amazing welcome from Stefan, as walk-ins. All the team treated our lad as a real mini-celeb. The Menu Petit for children was excellent and well-priced, with a salad option alongside the burger and chips. We have not stopped hearing about the Waffle Sundae since! Our meals were great, 1/2 chicken grill and a Boeuf Bourguignon and a lovely bottle of Sancerre rose. Which perked us up for the rest of the Tour of London. Thanks to the great team, Angjelo, Stefan, Zak and Shannon for making our Côte stop off a key part of a memorable day out. Ευχαριστώ to Angelos!!!

We were staying at the Tower Hotel and Cote was within walking distance. It was recommended by our guide and we weren't disappointed. Our waiter, Angel, was very attentive and made suggestions. The beef bourguignon was delicious, as was the sea bass. The chocolate crepe was excellent. We had a crisp "quaffable' white wine and enjoyed a leisurely evening. (Be sure to ask for the special menu which groups certain choices together.) We could have been in France!

We were a walk in as hadn’t booked anywhere. The front of house was efficient and put us down for a table with a text service telling us if the table was ready earlier - this meant we could go and have a drink whilst we waited for the table to be ready. The menu and choice at Cote is always good. We had decided to upgrade to the Cote de Boeuf which was disappointing - not as tender as it should be and a little chewy but for the price tag I did let the Manager know when we left the restaurant. In addition the service was slow. I ordered a glass of wine which came after I had finished my starter. So overall a good meal but not quite on it service and food wise and it wasn’t that busy in there. The Manager was apologetic and did sort things out for us.

We dined here before going to the theatre. From the welcome at the door to the farewell, we were made to feel welcome. The service felt genuine, professional, efficient and friendly. Personally I think service is equally important to the quality of food ..... and on both fronts they hit the spot. We chose from the fixed price February special menu. Each dish was well presented, hot and very tasty. Had a lovely evening dining here and would most definitely go back when in London. And the green peach tea is super! Thanks team - you're doing a great job!

With very good food and excellent, considerate service, Côte St Katharine Docks also has with all its lovely boats, an away from it all holiday feel. The staff were very attentive and found us a quiet table so that we could enjoy our Kirs, fougasse, delicious onion soups, main courses and coffee.

Very cold night in January, given a very warm welcome as we arrived and give a window table in a cosy warm spot. Food was very good for a chain and the waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Great location and good value for money, will be one of our go to places to eat when visiting London

We chose Cote as our American friend had been before and thought the gluten free menu was really good. The staff were very friendly but obviously stretched on a busy Saturday lunch time service, we all chose the Confit Duck which was excellent with the red cabbage and dauphinois potatoes but our desert was a real disappointment! Our gluten free friend had to send her desert back because despite asking for gluten free it wasn’t and had I not been with friends I would have sent the Apple Tarte Tatin back too. It wasn’t warm and the middle bordering on frozen, what a disappointment!

I was extremely grateful to Ebony for the outstanding service that she afforded me on an exceptionally busy night. Despite the obvious pressure, she kept her good sense of humour and ensured that I felt valued as a customer. I very much appreciated that she was particularly attentive to my order and added to my enjoyment of the evening. The food was hot, flavoursome and the portions just right. The wine was of good quality and I particularly enjoyed both the crémant and the wine flight on offer. A great way to welcome in the New Year and would certainly book again.

Outstanding food even though the restaurant had a 100 person booking. The service was fast and Radhika Ruval was efficient and cheerful throughout. We will return.

Arrived here after our flight was delayed on Friday evening around 8:30pm. The restaurant was absolutely packed. We were greeted by the lovely JJ who kindly squeezed us in for dinner. He showed us to our table and had two glasses of fizz waiting to celebrate my 30th birthday - what a lovely gesture! I have nothing but praise for this restaurant. The staff lovely and the food cooked to perfection (steak) and the dessert so light and refreshing! Highly recommend!

Booked a table for a pre-theatre meal and decided to enjoy the breakfast menu served till midday. Warmly welcomed and shown to our booked table overlooking the marina Our breakfast was delicious and we were looked after by Francesca who ensured we were looked after and made us feel welcomed. Firstly I’d like to say, I love cote. It’s our most frequented restaurant.We visited this one between lockdown, and must say, it’s lovely inside and out, and has beautiful views of the marina.It’s just a shame that we didn’t have a very good waiter, and he couldn’t understand us very well, so made lots of mistakes. It made for quite an awkward experience.It didn’t help that our mains were ready far too early (I was still eating my starter), so we’re left under the heater and were burnt. We didn’t complain as the waiter didn’t come back to check how everything was.Such a shame!

Me and my sisters came here in between the 2 recent lockdowns, we didn't book we just went by chance and we got a nice table inside with a beautiful view of st Katherine's docks, the lighting to the evening is beautiful and atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, we all went for the lamb dish with peppers and courgette and potatoes and we each cleared our plates it was absolutely the best lamb we've ever had, and we all opted for a bottle of proseco which was served beautifully, by the chef herself, everything was to top service and delicious thank you for making our family outing a evening to remember.

We went for the Christmas dinner with the office last Wednesday. The food was great and a good deal on the Christmas menu. However, the best was the service provided by Rosella. She was taking care of us all night and a very nice lady!

I visited with my husband & 2 sons, for our eldest son’s 21st birthday celebration. The food was great; well-cooked & beautifully presented. The waiter picked up on the fact that it was our son’s birthday & brought his dessert with a candle & happy birthday written in chocolate sauce on the plate. When the bill came, we had not been charged for his dessert. What a lovely gesture! I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

This was my first visit, and I had a great experience. The layout of the restaurant is inviting and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. I found the staff to be polite and friendly, and they took their time to serve you. The menu is not extensive, but there is something for everyone. The average price range was about £15-£20 unless you are looking at higher-end mains such as steaks. Everything was fresh and seasoned well. Great dessert selection, too. I would return! Make a reservation!

Cuando llegamos, no solo nos dieron nuestra maravillosa mesa, mirando directamente sobre el puerto, también nos trataron con muchos pequeños toques pensativos durante toda la noche. Cote es realmente una de esas raras cadenas donde cada restaurante mantiene un nivel excepcionalmente alto y un servicio personalizado, es fantástico verlo. Ojalá supiera los nombres de los miembros del personal para agradecerles a todos personalmente, pero lamentablemente no lo sé, gracias a todos ustedes. ¡Realmente no podría haber un lugar mucho más romántico que este y con este maravilloso personal seguramente tendrá una noche para recordar!

Almuerzo muy agradable aquí hoy. La ubicación es preciosa.Dado el covid 19, estaba mucho más ocupado de lo que esperaba. (Estuve aquí el jueves 24 de septiembre).La clientela parecía ser algunos trabajadores de oficina (¿no muchos?), Turistas que se alejaban de la Torre y algunos de nosotros londinenses / locales.Muy buena comida. Tuve el estofado de pescado bretón con lados de patatas fritas y frijoles franceses. Todos fueron excelentes y muy sabrosos. Recomiendo estos platos, tal vez particularmente los lados.Quizás no una relación calidad-precio del todo completa; el costo de estos fue de 21. 25 más servicio de 12. 5%, pero (bueno) esto es el centro de Londres. . .Mi única crítica sería que la música del interior era demasiado alta para la acústica de la sala.

Es bueno ver a Cote sobrevivir a estos tiempos difíciles. Tuvimos una velada perfecta mirando los barcos en el puerto deportivo. El servicio fue amable y eficiente y la comida en el lugar como de costumbre. Recomiendo especialmente la mayonesa de cangrejo y los rillettes de cerdo como entrantes, casi podrías hacer una comida de dos platos con esos dos. La panza de cerdo estaba muy bien cocinada, aunque no tan crujiente como me hubiera gustado, pero a menudo lo encuentro. La hamburguesa de queso con tocino estaba bien y las bayas congeladas con salsa tibia hacen un gran pudín para terminar.

Mi hija y yo estábamos muy felices de volver a uno de nuestros lugares favoritos. Tan pronto como entramos, nos recibieron con tanta calidez que nos sentimos como en casa. Nuestro anfitrión tomó nuestros datos y nos desinfectamos las manos antes de sentarnos. Elegimos sentarnos en la terraza, con vistas a los muelles y nos sentimos perfectamente seguros y las mesas estaban distanciadas. Nuestro camarero se llamaba Narek y fue muy atractivo y hablamos de lo felices que estábamos de volver y de que estábamos celebrando el nuevo trabajo de mi hija. Pedimos una copa de blanc de blanc cada uno y era encantador y reluciente. Ambos tuvimos patatas fritas de carne, que estaba perfectamente preparado y tenía una copa de Burdeos para acompañar nuestra comida. Cuando terminamos, Narek nos trajo a cada uno un vaso de efervescencia rosa en la casa para celebrar que mi hija encontró un trabajo después de ser despedida. Sentimos que este era un toque encantador. También conversamos con Alice, otro miembro del equipo y fue muy amable. Nos sentimos más como huéspedes y no como clientes y fue una experiencia maravillosa. Les insto a que vengan aquí y se den un capricho.

So glad this is open again. We attended last night which was their first day back. Food was outstanding. First class service as is usual with Cote. Good safety measures in place for staff and customers for COVID. Will definitely be back!

What a fantastic place to eat! Amazing steak, cooked to perfection, especially when accompanied by the peppercorn sauce & the creamy spinach.. So good! The calamari starter was fantastic too. :) Fast and efficient service. Highly recommend!

Sospeché un poco que, siendo una cadena, este restaurante puede no ser de la mejor calidad, pero era conveniente para el teatro. Estaba completamente equivocado y la comida era excelente. La sopa de cebolla francesa era particularmente buena y mi compañero estaba impresionado con su cassoulet. El servicio fue cálido y amable y nos permitió estar en muy buen momento para el espectáculo que íbamos a ver.

Brunch at St Katherine's Docks has got to be fun and our visit to Cote was made special by the excellent service provided by the staff and particularly by Alfredo. A great ambassador for the restaurant chain. In truth the food is probably a little overpriced for what you get but it is a pleasant experience. The restaurant coped quite well with my wife's food allergies, but would have been able to do a better job if HQ had provided them with a list of ingredients so that they knew what exactly was in their food. For example, my wife had to do without bread as the restaurant did not know what oils, if any, they contained. This, however, is a criticism of Cote as a chain and not of this particular outlet. My wife loves Cote as she always seems to get a tasty and enjoyable meal there. The St Katherine's Cote is a pretty little place and the location is stunning. A lovely spot for dining.

I asked for something quite a bit out of the ordinary this morning and the whole team made it happen in the most kind and helpful way. Their attitudes are exemplary and I absolutely recommend this restaurant if you want to feel looked after. The food and coffee quality was super but I’m blown away by their genuine helpfulness. Big shout out to Francesco. What a brilliant guy! Thank you!

No Masterchef smears, no fuss. Just straightforward, uncomplicated, delicious food. We dropped in for lunch after photographing the Docks, and sat at a lovely window table overlooking the boats. We began with a Kir Royal and olives, followed by a first course of calamari and my companion had scallops. Second course was a perfectly cooked fillet steak for me and a sirloin steak for him, both cooked rare, as requested. These were accompanied by a béarnaise sauce, frites, and a really nice basil and tomato salad. We rounded off our meal with coffee.The service was excellent. We were welcomed in such a friendly way and looked after immaculately throughout.

Lovely meal and friendly, attentive service. Had fab French onion soup and steak frites with a glass of Merlot. I must also say the complimentary blood orange cocktail of the month was gorgeous! Nice setting, and as I ate at a quiet time I was served very quickly.

Después de una excelente experiencia en otra rama de esta cadena en Peterborough, confiamos en que tomamos la decisión correcta, cuán equivocados estábamos. Comenzó bien bebidas, camarera amable, pero cuesta abajo desde allí. El entrante era soso, el guiso de pescado del plato principal era horrible, 2/3 mejillones pero parecía que habían estado en el microondas durante un tiempo tranquilo, almejas igual, pescado duro. El pez espada a la parrilla estaba crudo y frío, el agua en el recipiente de la mesa estaba tibia. Habíamos pedido una botella de vino y estaba abierta y en nuestras copas, cuando nos quejamos, el personal era agradable y se disculpó y nos preguntó si nos gustaría algo más. No lo creo, así que disfrutamos nuestra botella de vino y pagamos la factura con descuento solo por nuestras bebidas y nos fuimos, para nunca volver.

Il personale è molto gentile e il posto è carino, con una vetrata che affaccia direttamente su questo caratteristico porticciolo nelle immediate vicinanze del Tower Bridge. In merito al cibo, la tartare di carne era buona anche se i capperi erano sottaceto, il filetto era tenero ma la peppercorn sauce era troppo lenta e la sirloin steak non eccezionale

It was so good we ate brunch and dinner there on Sunday. The manager was excellent & the staff checked all the ingredients for allergies. Definitely worth a visit

We had dinner with friends here on January 25, 2020. We had starters, mains and dessert. The menu has a lot of options with plenty of choices for vegetarians. Service was a bit scattered, but everyone was friendly. The food was really good. It was well presented, flavorful and filling. The French onion soup was excellent and the half chicken dinner was one of the best we have ever had. Combine this with good friends and it made for a wonderful evening. We absolutely recommend Cote Brasserie

Friday night was great - attentive waiter superb food but saturday night the food was being brought out to wrong tables 25 minute for coffee freezing cold at the front of restaraunt different staff one quite rude but the food was good again so a mixed review

We decided to have 2 starters each, one as a starter and one as a main, to allow us to have room for dessert. 1 starter came after 25 minutes and we eventually had to find a member of staff to chase up the second after another 20 minutes. The missing starter was a dish that needed no cooking yet they brought it out at the same time as our mains. We had also ordered a side of fries which never appeared however we didn't chase as this would have delayed things even longer. We then ordered desserts which came pretty quickly - creme brulee and their special - Grand Marnier crepes. The alcohol was presented with a jug with cling film on it, which they then had difficulty flaming and the alcohol overpowered everything making the dessert inedible.

Went to Cote last evening. It was at first not busy, but the Manager took his time to introduce himself and suggest a table with truly amazing views and allowing tranquility to set in.

Menu ok as ever, but slow and inattentive service and the main course seemed to have been left in the warming cabinet for too long.

Nous avions l’hôtel près de la station de métro de Tower Gateway et à environ 10’ à pied de là, il y a une place pleine de différents restos, nous avons décidé de tester la côte brasserie. Le menu exposé dehors avait l’air alléchant. Quand nous sommes entrés, et étant un soir de la semaine, le serveur nous a remis un menu spécial du lundi au vendredi jusqu’à minuit à 19.90£ pour une entrée, un plat et un dessert à choix selon le menu de la semaine.

Imagine breakfast in a pretty and charming location. Beautifully cooked and presented food and perfect coffee. It doesn't get much better than this.

A trip to London and a meal at Cote Brasserie was a Christmas gift. It was getting dark and a perfect venue, The 3 course set menus was good value considering the area and it really was enough. Quick service but not hurried and we enjoyed our visit.

Came here with 1 friend and my family. The atmosphere was nice, very accommodating to the partially sighted member of our party. I ordered the smoked salmon as a starter. It was perfectly cooked, smoky but not too intense, with a buttery texture that went down well with all those who ordered it. Moving on to the main course.

Called in without booking as I didn't know what time I would get out of work. They were able to find a table for me. The service was excellent, the food was delicious. What else, can't wait to be in London again.

I booked a table here for 18 of us for a retirement meal. Due to the time of year we all had to select from the Christmas menu,which was easy as there was a good variety of options to choose from. I arrived a little earlier as I had already arranged to decorate the table ready for everyone's arrival. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and double checked all our menu choices with me. Once everyone arrived they served us drinks then brought the food out. I had send them a list of food options and they read the names out of each person as they served it, which was a lovely touch. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff throughout the meal was fantastic and the food was delecious and served to perfection. Everyone in my party commented on how good the whole experience was.

Decided to eat here for the evening whilst in London. The food was excellent and atmosphere lively. We were given a table by the window overlooking the dock which was really pretty with all the lights. Service was good too; not rushed, but not left waiting for ever either - just right and polite and friendly.

We stayed at the Citizen M hotel next to Tower Hill for two nights and went here for breakfast both days running! My mum and I are coeliac and this place was a gem of a find for us. Lots of choice, tasty food and good value too. Day one I had full breakfast and day two I had eggs Benedict which they did on gluten free toast. There was a separate gluten free menu and the staff took care and attention to all of our needs. The little GF flags were a lovely little touch!

Love this place for after work drinks or early dinner. Very relaxed and friendly and good food at very reasonable prices especially as it overlooks The Thames and Tower Bridge. Especially great in summer when you can eat and drink outside. Really recommended as you can also enjoy Hays Galleria on the way!

Having already been to one in Cardiff Central I was happy to go again because there is a good choice of dishes. My prawns gratiné starter was great and the fact I could order it without the chilli proves they have proper chefs and don't just open packets! And the real star was the duck breast which was tasty and tender and beautifully presented and with those lovely boozy cherries.

10 of us ate here last night (my second visit) and had a great time. The food is delicious and with such a wide menu, everyone found something they liked. As we were a big group we had to preorder, which was a bit of a faff but meant that on the night each dish was served to the right person. Our waitress was lovely, although rather stretched as the restaurant was full, but perfectly attentive. Good value at approx £40 per head for 3 courses and wine. Great location (we had cocktails in the Slug and Lettuce immediately opposite beforehand). Would definitely recommend, and in the summer St Katherine’s Dock is such a lovely place.

We had a relaxed breakfast here on a Saturday morning and were very impressed with the staff. Service was great, the food was good and there was no reason to rush out as it was pouring with rain.

We actually took the fixed price normal menu which was super and generous at a good price for the location. Best accessed from tower hill tube station via the underpass, well lit walkway down to St Katherines dock.

Had a very pleasant dinner for 4 at Cote Brasserie St. Katharine Docks on 4th September. We were served by Debra and she looked after us very well. The food was also really good.

We booked a table for two as this is very local and had been recommended. The venue and staff were welcoming and the table situated in a nice, but noisy area overlooking the marina.

I have been a regular diner at Cote restaurants around the UK, I have been to this branch of Cote in the past and found it very good. However, on Saturday 28th September I called to reserve a table. We arrived at 5pm and were surprised to find it was half empty, given most of the restaurants this side and the other side of the bridge were packed. We waited ten minutes to be seen, the waitress then went to check our reservation but said, "system is not working" - grabbed a couple of menus and walked into the restaurant and said, where do you want to sit? We choose the table by the window overlooking the marina - I went to sit down and noticed the seat was all wet. I indicated the seat was wet and moved to another seat - further along the bench. the waitress then said "oh, do you want me to wipe it!!!! I acknowledged this might be an idea!

Called in for breakfast. Good service, lovely coffee. Had cooked breakfast and egg yolks broken on mine and extremely snotty on my husband's. His whole plate was floating in yellow goo. Tomato undercooked. However bacon and sausage were really good.

Vi tog en tidligt lunch, det blev en frukost! Det var mkt prisvärt, meny med varm dryck, juice och en varm frukost för 10,95 pund. Mycket gott, prisvärt och lugnt, fin utsikt, spännande miljö runt hamnen.

It will be difficult to fully state how happy we was here. And how welcome we was at cote. They made us feel welcome from the very momemt. Special shout out to absolutely everybody at this place, amazing management, amazing food, and impeccable service from start to finish. If you are in London and can only have time to dine at one restaurant, this is the place. I have eaten all over London and by far Cote takes the #1 spot. Thankyou to everybody there and will definitely be back very very soon. 10/10.

Four of us ate here on Saturday night whilst staying in the marina. The acoustics are appalling and there seems to be a large party that was getting louder and louder and so everyone else had to get louder to compensate. Three of our meals arrived together but the fourth took a while as apparently the chef dropped the fish on the floor. This happens but no one explained the delay until rather late on by which time the other three of us were almost half way through our meals.

Read some reviews on line and Cote has the highest score. The food was ok, nothing special. Service was good. So overall an advantage lunch.

This was not our first visit to a “Cote” but it was certainly the best (so far!) thanks mainly to our waitress, Genny - smart and efficient of course but also with a great sense of humour! The food was good, of course, but really what made it great for us with our American guests and London guide was the ambience and the welcoming service.

We had a Table on the Terasse with a great view of the Dock. The Service was very good and attentive. Our food was very good and so was our wine. I would recomand to make a booking as it was quite full. Prices are quite high but reasonable for wath you get.

At the end of a great morning exploring the Classic Boat Festival at St Katharine Docks we decided to round things off with a visit to Côte for lunch.

Fuimos en familia, está bien,en la línea de esta cadena,quizás un poquito más flojo,que otros del grupo,pedimos entre otras cosas dos a burguesas estaban muy mal hechas, muy secas, lo manifestamos y en compensación no nos cobraron los postres.

Utrolig god mat i ett maritimt miljø nede på st. Katharine Docks. Masse folk å se på og mange båter. Hyggelig betjening. Maten og drikke var kjempegodt. Maten kom fort og servitøren var effektiv. Kommer gjerne igjen

Overlooking St Katharines Dock this was convenient for this event. We had booked, which was just as well. The venue was cramped and stuffy. Very uncomfortable. The haddock goujons were not as fresh as they should have been. £6.25 for a Crewe brûlée is too much. Otherwise reasonable.
