Felicia is really lovely. We always have a really good time here. Breakfast is delicious and the environment is cozy. As a vegetarian, I always have lots of options to choose from. Would highly recommend 👍

We were lucky enough to discover this very good restaurant. The service is impeccable and the waiters/waitresses are adorable. The meal is excellent. We tasted the orange duck, haddock fish partner, chicken and everything was excellent. Desserts just as much. Very good address to remember and the prices were correct in relation to the quality. Booked a table for 5 as a birthday treat for my wife. This was our second visit after a great experience a month earlier. Service was really good and the food seemed great at the time. Unfortunately an hour or so after getting home I was very unwell and spent most of the night in the bathroom throwing up. Next morning on checking the bill we realised we’d been charged for drinks that weren’t ours. Called in to tell the manager and get a refund of both the drinks and the service charge and to explain about the illness. Was asked what I had eaten but didn’t seem concerned at all. Won’t be risking a return.

Absolutely perfect break in my journey home had an hour's wait for my next train and spent it in this lovely relaxed chilled restaurant with a lovely wine and perfectly done steak fritte

Found the whole experience was excellent from the greeting and the service and more importantly the food was excellent

Waited 40 mins for a cold breakfast, had to chase it twice, had obviously been sitting around in the kitchen for a significant amount of time, terrible considering it wasn’t even busy

December (Christmas menu 2023) . Lovely dinner from start to finish. Delicious prawns au gratin, turkey & all trimmings. Lovely crème brûlée. Thanks Dominica our waitress. We also had Diego who was very helpful and friendly. Thank you both. Thanks for the photos taken too.

Visited for a business dinner and was impressed with food, everybody enjoyed the food just a shame our waiter was very odd and seemed to have his own agenda how the dinner was going to be run. Made it a bit awkward with him throughout evening.

We have used Cote a number of times, with friends, family and as a couple. We were here for Mothers day, and had booked a table for six people [ 4 adults, 2 children ] at 11.45. We knew it would be busy but we were seated promptly and our orders taken. Starters arrived and were very tasty, children were given and colouring activity sheets given to the kids. Main courses were a slightly different thing though. The food when it arrived was very good but boy did we wait for it. Our main courses arrived 90 minutes after we were seated.Like I said, we knew the place was busy but a bit of communication and honesty from the staff regarding the wait would have been appreciated. We will return, hopefully it won't be so busy.

A dining experience that has left a pleasant lasting impression.From the mouthwatering dishes to the specially crafted drinks , every aspect of the meal was exemplary. The service was impeccable providing a sense of warmth of hospitality that made the bustling atmosphere feel inviting. The tasteful decor and clever use of mirrors added an extra touch of elegance to the ambiance. The menu offered a fantastic range of choices and the staff were knowledgeable about the dishes. We ate from the main menu but there was a special occasion mother's day menu which showcased Cotes ability to cater to various dining preferences. Overall, a great dining experience and I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit.

Had a wonderful mothers day meal we ordered the sharing platters which had steak, bekky pork and chicken on them. Beautifully cooked and tasty. Everyone enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere was buzzy. Staff were attentive and friendly

Excellent service, today I went for breakfast. Even though they had many bookings they still catered for me and made me feel welcome. The food was great and well presented. Will be back again!

Pre concert supper last night with the Fixed Price menu The service was good,food excellent and more important served knowing we needed to leave for our concert at a specific time There are plenty of staff ensuring good service and more important all the staff are friendly and well trained

Really brilliant evening. Good choice of food on the menu's, lots we want to try next time... Staff were enthusiastic, bright and fun. The negroni cocktails were perfect! Dropped a couple of points 'cos the Crab a la Maison starter was nothing special and they confused my mains and served the wrong dish. Confit Duck instead of confit Pork Belly. (I kept the duck as it it looked great, and it was!). Negroni's, prosecco with starters, Malbec with mains ...All in all a great evening was had by all...

First time eating here and I won’t come back. The food was nice but the portion sizes and value for money is not there. I found the service slow also. I left the restaurant still hungry and I went to Kaspas dessert lounge afterwards for a decent sized dessert

We had a lovely anniversary date at Cote. The food was delicious. Calamari, Pate and CÔTE DE BOEUF all good perfectly. The service was good but not great. All the servers were amazing however it was a little slow and occasionally we had to ask for service. Our table looked lovely and everything was thought through wonderfully.

Seated quickly but no one came over to take our order. Not even for drinks. Other tables came in after us and got served. We asked for service and they said in a minute waited another 10 mins, we decided to leave and when we complained was told there were tables with other people on. Yes there were and they came in after us. Extremely rude staff. Avoid, this is why I do not rate cote Peterborough it’s the 2nd time we’ve a bad experience at this establishment. Disappointed and disgusted.

Great food. But we stood around waiting to be seated even though the staff were standing around talking to each other. Although I booked our food order ahead, the waiting staff still asked what we wanted to eat and drink - they hadn't checked our booking.

I was in Peterborough with work and went in to dine at Cote….the staff, the atmosphere and all three courses of my order was amazingly 5*!!

Had the valentine's menu and they was very accommodating with the fact I am a celiac and unable to eat gluten. Food was incredible and service to match. Cocktail was nice and the Cote de Beouf was cooked to perfection.

Restaurant very welcoming and, crucially, warm. Food and wine both excellent but the service was even better. You can tell a place’s customer service by how they deal with a problem. Ours was a small, to us, issue but the manager’s response went above and beyond. A delicious meal & a very pleasant dining experience. We’ll be going back.

Party of 6. My food was excellent, as were most dishes. House red is great. Unfortunately not all the starters came out together and one of the mains came out cold. Otherwise very good.

What a waste of time came in for breakfast and manager said he could not seat us because he is low in staff and too busy! Then I go online and there is a table at 11.30! Lots of free tables and not a black person in sight 🤔

Been a few times recently and food normally good. Last time the steak was ok but not as good as normal. This time went for the burger but it was over done and hard. Calamari was good though

Absolutely wonderful. Visited for my birthday, and was greeted with a birthday card and had wishes in chocolate with my crepe. The steak was fabulous and the staff were so very pleasant. We'll be back!

Was looking forward to a late lunch at cote, we didn’t book but looked on the menu board out side and decided and knew what we wanted to order. Attentive service, we ordered some water while we checked the menu again and were going to order wine with our actual meal. We decided to share a Camembert for starter and then for mains we were going to order mussels and beef bourguignon The waiter came over and we tried to place our order to be told we don’t have any Camembert…….. So then asked if they have any mussels…. He replied no I know it was just after Christmas and new year, but these dishes are a staple for cote, and to not have them was poor stock ordering So with that we decided to leave and go else where and actually get food we wanted to order Your loss cote

Went in for lunch. Relaxed atmosphere not rushed. Excellent tasting food. Excellent service.

A wonderful evening celbrating my birthday. The attention that the restaurant staff gave us made a great meal even better.

We always get well looked after at this Cote, and last night, they excelled themselves. It was a birthday dinner for me and the table had been decorated with tiny "Happy Birthday" confetti and a lovely card which, I'm ashamed to say, I forgot to take with me. I selected the Alpine menu and had the Toulouse Sauage and the Tartiflette. Both tasted authentic and were delicious. With a bottle of excellent wine thrown in as well by the restaurant, the evening was perfect.

Nice meal it was a work Christmas meal so I can't really comment on the normal service or atmosphere. Food was tasty though.

Me and My partner went to Cotes for our anniversary - and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The staff went above and beyond for us and we felt really special. We will definitely be coming back and bringing friends and family!

We had the Noel menu which was gorgeous and good value for money. All food came out in a timely manner and we were allowed to sit and talk for a long time over our courses without feeling hurried along in any way

Had a fabulous time on Saturday. There were 11 of us, so a big party. The staff here are amazing and can't do enough for you. They were busy so we had quite a wait before we got any food, but it didn't matter as we were entertaining ourselves and drinking. We ordered off the 3 course festive set menu which had a good choice. We did warn them in advance that we were going to stay for about 3 hours and would be noisy and that wasn't an issue for them. Had the turkey option, which was pretty good. Would definitely recommend the restaurant and team there. Thanks for a fabulous time.

I spent a wonderful evening with my husband, son and daughter in law last night. With a special sparkling wine for us all as a treat we had a fabulous meal. The food was so flavoursome, well presented and served by happy, friendly staff. The restaurant was completely full, great atmosphere and service was still excellent. We were made to feel welcome and special. Thank you to all the staff for a great evening.

Hadn't considered Cote for several years (( can't remember why!) and was pleasantly surprised by the variety on the menu including, importantly fish and plant based options. Food quality was excellent, the red wine ( bit too expensive!) was warm ( positive) and staff affable (bar a new waiter). knowledgeable Am considering booking the Cambridge Cote for your festive menu. 😊

Best overall experience in Peterborough center so far. Feels premium compared to other places in the area. Great steak prepared perfectly, interesting starters and vast wine selection. Decent prices. Will be definitely come back.

Friendly efficient staff serving good quality food

We was very welcomed when we arrived. It was simple birthday dinner for two, but our table was decorated with small stars and birthday card was on the table with wishes from restaurant staff. Birthday person received glass of champagne. On the dessert they wrote happy birthday. We wasn't expecting anything, we was pleasantly surprised. Food delicious like always and generous portions. Best recommendations. This restaurant never disappointed us - food always delicious, service exceptional .

Thoroughly enjoyed visit for a family breakfast celebrating a notable breakfast. We had a range of menu choices including veggie and vegan. Service was prompt and friendly.

Food was lukewarm, service acceptable but given they knew it was our wedding anniversary, disappointing. No real atmosphere. Other patrons send food back as it wasn’t hot enough. Given all that it was overpriced

Me and my partner visit at least once a month for date night, the food, staff and atmosphere is always excellent. We had missed seeing each other for our birthdays which are a day after each other, as he works away. I had put birthday on the booking and didn't think to much about it. What a lovely suprise to find a hand written card and birthday confetti on our table. The staff always make you feel so special and when pudding arrived it had happy birthday written in chocolate on the plate, which was a lovely touch. The food and the staff will always keep us coming back.

Nice atmosphere, waitress super correct but food to be honest nothing especial and quite pricey for the quality. My bed burger was dry and my hubby pork casserole was just ok.

Have been here many times, but came last night as a party of 20. Staff could not have done enough for us and went above and beyond to ensure things were right. Great visit to cote this week for a midweek dinner with a colleague. Have been to this chain before elsewhere and forgot how great it was. Lovely food, lots of options based loosely around a French brasserie theme. Nice surroundings and staff were great too. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

we went with friends. we hadn't visited before. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I felt like it was a special dining experience. the cloth tablecloths and napkins make a real difference and the food is delicious. I had the chicken liver parfait and the mushroom cassoulet - it was delicious, really earthy and tasty. My husband had the calamari and the lamb and our friend had the beef bourginon - which was delicious also!

Good food, delightful service. Lunch menu is reasonably priced. Dislike the 'voluntary' 10% added to the bill. I prefer to decide whether to tip, and how much, myself, thank you.

Well what can I say I didn’t have high expectations after my dead starter for my main but I would be embarrassed to serve either dish and could cook better with my eyes closed! I def have to stop trusting reviews after this - I would have rather ate a carbonara or pizza at pizza express and I don’t even eat carbs 🤦‍♀️

Extremely overpriced for very mediocre food and tiny portions. Sound travels tremendously and gives an almost stressful environment when it seems (with the lighting and candles) they are trying to do the opposite. Not sure what else I expected from a chain restaurant though
