Cosy Club Cheltenham in Cheltenham

Nice atmosphere great staff but for the price the food was somewhat lacking, the chicken salad was lovely my partner said but the lunch time breakfast type thing thats in the picture wasn’t close! the bacon was dry, the sourdough toast was rock hard and the poached eggs where over done. But i must say the belly pork was great!. Its our first time visiting here so we will try once more with different items as the salad and service was so good …… we will up date accordingly lol.

Came here for a work do in a group of ~30. I had the most delicious steak, and everyone at the event really enjoyed their food. The staff were attentive, and good at handling such a large group!

We had the best server (Danny) - she was so nice and has great recommendations! The food was great as well!! Def will go back!

We came to Cosy Club for my birthday dinner and it was lovely, amazing food and drinks with a warm atmosphere. Our waitress Bianca was very welcoming and friendly!

Lovely Bar/restaurant, staff were all welcoming and friendly food was delicious and so was the beer. My only gripe was not a huge selection for sandwiches they had two and some small plates but not many lunch options. But still was lovely.

It is really a very cosy club. Nice coffee, I tried the Matcha vanilla latte, which was very nice. I highly recommend this place if you want to relax.

Lovely place, but they are not polishing their glass tea cups, which makes the customer feel like they've got served a dirty cup to drink from. Have never seen that in any other place. Please have some respect regarding to the Food standard and safety hygiene standards.They also never give you sugars if you don't ask for it, and even if you do say you want let's say - two, it's just not heard, as they give one only, even tho you told them how many you need. So staf needs to properly listen to the customer. Other than that everything is lovely. I wish someone gets this review as a constructive feedback and does something about it.

Excellent place to people watch, but bar service is really bad.

Was the most amazing atmosphere and perfect service. Even in a wheelchair they were able to accommodate and any food requirements were met.

To many people and to much noise. Too much clutter on the walls.

Visited as a walk in on Sunday brunch. We’re we quickly sat (with no booking) and our drinks order was taken quickly. The food came out promptly and was very nice. Plenty of room in the place for the wheelchair user in our group. The only thing that was suspicious was that the lift door was 95% obscured so you couldn’t see inside or out. Overall though would attend again.

Came here with my niece for lunch and we had a lovely lunch with great service! Thanks so much Bianca for being so friendly and attentive! We will be back!

My back was quite sore while out with the family and this place was a welcoming atmosphere. If you've got sciatica this place is the perfect tonic!

Really enjoyed our visit here. The staff were great. Super friendly, explained the menu where needed, offered thoughts, etc. The food was great too. I had the cauliflower massaman as a main, and we shared a bunch of veggie starters. Everything super tasty. I'd avoid the twice cooked potatoes though. Expected roasties and it was more like boiled potatoes. Cocktails were nice too. All in all, a bit expensive but well worth the visit.

It's a decent chain, they are dig friendly and keep blankets and biscuits and always offer water. Good service and decent food - you know what you're getting :)

Called in for brunch on Saturday without a reservation. Was shown to a table immediately. Drinks arrived quickly. All staff was very friendly & welcoming. Food took a little while, but it was busy. When it came it was really nice, hit & well presented.

It’s not often I write reviews but I felt this one really deserves one. We had a Mother’s Day lunch at Cosy Club Cheltenham today, and I have to say the staff were absolutely brilliant. They were all very friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure my partners mum had a great time and she really enjoyed her Mother’s Day gift too! We will be coming back next year!

Have eaten here a lot. Have to agree with another review that there is not a lot of food for the money. We always order extra sides, but this time the broccoli was foul tasting . I think the butter had gone off. There was no recompense for this, monetarily or otherwise. We were still charged for this plate. Very disappointed

Seemed to be the only place in the centre. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were lovely. Loved the interior. The food just wasn't it. For the price it was lacking. The portions for the price wasn't value for money. The toast was cold and hard on both breakfasts, so we couldn't even cut through. Same with the sandwich. Considering we had two pots of tea, we had one sachet of sugar each. Every time I asked, one more appeared, and the staff didn't seem happy. I'm not sure why I have to keep asking for sugar each time I pour a cup.

Nice place to meet friends in the centre of town. The thai curry is good.

Joe was incredibly friendly, very fast kitchen, food was incredible, well worth it.

Food was ok, service friendly and it’s a nice place (although not original if you’ve been to any of the Lounge venues). If you’re wanting a chilled brunch maybe go somewhere else - very busy, very loud but we did go on a Sunday afternoon so perhaps to be expected. Menu could be a bit more original for vegetarians / vegans but again nothing unusual

Awful unprofessional staff, no idea what the food's like....we didn't get that far. Waited 10 minutes to be seated whilst being completely ignored by all the staff, in the meantime a couple nearby finished their drinks and handed their menus back at the bar explaining they couldn't wait any longer to be served....that was our sign to just give up and leave.

Visited recently for a college reunion, great bar and restaurant decorated really lovely , staff were friendly and a decent choice of drink available , nice to pop into for a drink but would avoid for food , there wasn’t much left on the menu for 7 on a Saturday night which meant 4 of us ordering something different and I didn’t enjoy my chicken. For drinks and atmosphere however 5 stars

Slow service, overcooked food. Disappointing. Visited in Dec 2023 for a work Christmas lunch. On arrival, we had to wait for our table to be made ready, despite having reserved for that time and no one else using it (the restaurant was maybe half to three-quarters full). Fifteen minutes later, we were seated; food and drinks orders were taken ten minutes after that. A further ten minutes later, so 35 minutes after our reservation started, our drinks arrived (well, most of them - one of our party was still waiting for the complicated cocktail called "sparkling water"). Food came out at a similar pace. The sharing starters were fine (sweet potato undercooked). The mains were a mess: the salmon was overcooked and dry, the "twice-roasted new potatoes" shrivelled, the broccoli closer to burnt than charred. We didn't stay for desserts.

Booked a table for a Friday lunchtime. Taken straight to our table. Ordered drinks but waited 50mins for the food to arrive. When it did it was very tasty and well presented. Would've ordered dessert but didn't want a long wait again as we were off shopping after. I appreciate there were Christmas tables going on. Can't recommend the place if you're limited on time tho.

Very small portion of main meal the small potatoes hard, the pork belly in honey glaze was salty & burnt. Service was slow and didn't pay attention to our food complaints. On the whole very expensive place to eat considering the size and quality of the meals.

Had lunch here with friends, was lovely atmosphere with Christmas tree 🎄 and decorations. Lovely food, staff very helpful and friendly.

Went for a Christmas meal here. The food was nice, and it wasn't super busy. Not sure what the regular menu looks like, but the Christmas menu was decent. Puddings were a bit small. Nice options for pescatarians and vegetarians, and quick service.

Thoroughly friendly, cozy and ambient, top nosh for all tastes. Update: went back for breakfast which consists of a succulent sausage, a rich flavoured agg, fresh tomato, two streaks of smokey bacon, beans, sourdough bread and a fleshy mushroom. Wow. Very nice. The atmosphere allows for unprotentious, but classy single, couples and group dining. This place is what Cheltenham needs.

Great food & lovely decor/setting. Service was incredibly slow though, and there were only a handful of people eating, so it wasn't because they were overun.

Came last night with friend, server Abi H was wonderful, so attentive. It wasn’t too busy but the atmosphere was still great. Definitely will return.

What a friendly amazing place this is as we climbed the stairs the decor was out of this world so warm and decorative. Staff so helpful and attentive couldn't do enough for us. Food what can we say no other word but amazing we will be back.

Took the wife for a date night never been before and I was very impressed staff was on the ball and food was very delightful would definitely recommend.only downside was music playing was a little to loud for conversation

Chilled, comfortable and, of course, cosy! Nice atmosphere and background music, makes it a regular place for us to visit.

I chose this place today for a business meeting for a good space to eat and chat. But it ended up being a great place with excellent service, even though busy, the staff were all excellent and the manager was just so warm and engaging. Didn’t expect a large place to have such personality and great personal service. The food was also great. But it’s always the service that makes the difference and we couldn’t fault a thing.

The food was universally salty across each of the dishes our table ate. (Seabass, breakfasts, chicken dish etc). The steak arrived rare despite asking for well done. We waited 55 minutes between ordering for our main to arrive, nobody came to ask us if we would like more drinks or to explain the wait in the mean time. 3 dishes came out together, 2 more took an extra 10 minutes. Nobody came to check if the food was good or if we wanted more drinks. Needed to ask to pay 3 times. For the price you pay, the quality and the service was sub-par. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but this was a disappointing experience. It wasn’t particularly busy or a strange time of day to eat, just lunchtime on a Saturday.

I would go else where. All our food was super salty, all 5 meals which were all different (sea bass, steak, chicken, veggie brunch and meat brunch). Food took an hour to arrive and pretty underwhelming for the price.

Booked for lunch with a friend and my daughter. It was busy but not manic. We had to wave someone down to order, drinks came eventually but the food took forever. We only ordered sourdough with avocado and egg but it took over 45 mins to arrive. Avocado was so cold, the egg was gross (under cooked and stone cold) and when I mentioned it to the waitress she just said ‘oh’ and walked off! I mentioned again when the waitress clearing the table asked if everything was ok (the same waitress who is already told the eggs were cold!) so she went and got the manager. His attitude was ‘it’s busy and we’re only human’ and then asked what I wanted him to do about it. Tbh by that stage the answer was, nothing really! Ended up that he removed the eggs from the bill and applied a discount, but by that stage I was done and very very happy to leave. Over priced, exceptionally slow, average quality food. I’ll give it a miss another time thanks.

Came in for a quiet drink sat at a table with a high street view opposite poundland with dirty plates some sort of chocolate desert on the table to view for over 2 hours got bored of looking at the dirty plates & poundland store there's a betfred & McDonald's to keep you interested with all the antics on the high Street!

Had a great time at Cosy Club. We were a very large table of 18 people, but the booking staff and the waitress, Hannah was excellent throughout the process of booking our breakfast and during the event. Highly recommend dining at Cosy Club.

Lovely pulled lamb main. Portions are a little small but made up by being packed with deliciousness and flavour. If Cheltenham wasn't over 100 miles away from me ... I'd be back.

Lovely atmosphere, always busy so we were prepared to wait. 3 stars as there were only 2 people on the bar on a Saturday night, making drinks for both people queuing for drinks and those who were sat down to eat. Unfortunately, I was also ignored twice by one bar staff member, which could have been understandable if there was a long queue, but it was me and one other person at the bar, for him to then serve a man who came up after me? Regardless, the other server apologised once I caught his attention after waiting for 20 minutes at the bar.

Had a lovely time here tonight for a birthday. The service staff were so enthusiastic and nice and the food was lovely and filling. The drinks were quite expensive, but that’s expected these days.

Our biggest problem with our brunch was value for money. We order 3 drinks, 1 classic breakfast, 1 dirty butty and 1 eggs Benedict, it came to £47!! The portions were very small. We could overhear other tables complaining about the wait time of service, one waitress seemed to be on it but the other members of staff just seemed to be standing around and avoiding eye contact. This was an overall disappointing experience as the cozy club in Nottingham is on another level compared to this cozy club.

Great atmosphere , the menu was not to my taste but that's a personal choice.

We have been to the Cosy Club on several occasions now and have always had good service and tasty meals. The restaurant can be a bit noisy with patrons chatting, but this is indicative of people enjoying themselves.

Had a lovely meal here, the menu is quite small so it's not somewhere I would go on a regular basis but the food was excellent.

Disappointed, prosecco was flat, avocado was bland, service was poor.

Honestly I had a burger which is definitely in my top 5 burgers of all time. The waiters there were so nice, and the atmosphere is amazing, would recommend to anyone.

The sheer opulence spoke directly to me. The huge oil paintings, awards boards spanning the length of one of the walls, the rich, velvet embossed wall paper and exquisite light fittings, had me entranced. We indulged in a wicked glass of Rosè @11 am. ( +-£8 for med glass) It is conveniently situated in the town and one can partake of some superb people watching out of the floor to ceiling windows.

I came in for a drink with my partner and and 3 month old baby, and your KP pop saw her and entertained her and she loved every second of it, his English wasn’t great but you could see the passion this man has for his job and for his family, he is worth every penny spent possibly more. Pop needs more air time for cosy club

The atmosphere is fabulous. It is one of those places that sell had the traditional appearance. Friendly staff. Good place to go here to discuss business.

We were warmly welcomed and promptly served. The premises are clean and full of character. Great for people watching if you get a window seat. I would like to go back for food sometime.

Quiet drink lovely and comfortable

Ate dinner on the 01/07/23. The front of house staff were very good, service was excellent at the bar and then we received excellent service from the waiter at our table. He was very cheery and patient, nothing was to much trouble. The starter we had were excellent but the mains were disappointing, my burger was Luke warm and my wife’s steak was also Luke warm and dry as it was well done and not medium. Our friends lamb shoulder whilst it was very tasty was the size of a starter. Puddings were great to be fair. Last time I ate here was at a Christmas part it was excellent the restaurant was full and the food was plentiful and very hot. Last night the restaurant was half empty so very disappointed to receive Luke warm food. Probably won’t return based on latest experience.

Came for bottomless brunch for a hen party, the staff were so attentive. It was busy yet they stayed calm and were so happy to help. Really helpful with dietary requirements as well

Came for a meal last week, WOW! Beautiful decor, gorgeous food and fantastic staff, especially the lady who served us, I think her name was Abbie? Red hair. Service was quick and efficient, we will definitely return!

Nice ambience but a but disappointed with the service. We’ve been here for dinner on a really quiet night, we took our time to look at the menu, but at the time of ordering we were made aware that the chosen dish was not available. Ok, it happens, we chose something else, list the whole order to the waiter that does not read it back and then start waiting. For quite a while. Then the starter come out with an extra dish we never ordered. The waiter brings it back to the kitchen and we proceed eating. Then, moving on to the mains, there was another quite long wait and we never received a check back, so couldn’t ask for some extra sides we wanted to add to the order or second drinks. When was time to pay we realised that there was an extra cocktail on the bill that we never ordered, once this was fixed we specified we wanted to split the bill 3 ways and specified how much each would be paying, but still I was charged a slightly different amount, but at that point I was a bit too annoyed to let them know. Being my first visit at the Cosy Club I was a bit disappointed… But I have to say that the food was nice and I really enjoyed the starters.

Fantastic Meal and service here. What ruined the day for us was, a couple of weeks later when we had received a Parking charge from Rip of Merchants opposite the Brewery where we parked the Porsche. £100 fine even though we'd paid for four hours. Totally ruined day for us. If this carries on people won't be back.

Our welcome and seating was good and we were quickly asked if we’d like to order a drink. We decided to wait for the rest of our party. After we were all assembled no one came to us until we eventually managed to attract staff attention. The drinks then took an age to come - all this despite the fact there were few other diners. Thankfully the food didn’t take long to come and everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff themselves were pleasant enough but too often they seemed to prefer to congregate around the main till with the duty manager rather than check their customers.

Bottomless brunch was amazing, so worth the money, great food, Benji was so great really welcoming and make the while experience even better. Really recommend!

We always love visiting cosy club. Great atmosphere and staff are welcoming and friendly. Cocktails are expensive but they taste great We didn't have food here this time but have in the past in other locations. It was just a flying visit to cheltenham this time. In a good location aswell
