Service from the restaurant part was abysmal , I asked for a extra piece of foil for my food as it was being taken home with me the answer I got was a very abrupt no you can’t and please bear in mind it was pizza that was dripping with oil. so I said ok could you chuck this in the bin then please as I don’t want it to make a mess in my car she rolled her eyes sighed and said “ok whatever here have some don’t worry about anyone else and if they need any” not the way I would like to be spoken too when I am out shopping and I was more than polite

Costco is good, but be careful when you are returning any items. Keep your bill receipt handy to know the amount you would getting back. The return process is very much manual and there are very high chances of manual errors and we might end up getting wrong amount credited and at some occasions wrong number of items been processed.. Had lessons learnt from few occasions with wrong return transactions, so keep your bill receipt handy if planning to return even though receipt is really not needed for returning items..

I loved how the oversized shopping trollies made me feel petite (I'm 6ft 5)

A few new clothing for the summer fsirly good for quality, plants look good mostly shrubs in pots, wholesale groceries always great for price.

Love Costco, nice food at reasonable prices, makes sure you've got a lot of storage space when you get home! There range of clothing is growing and changing all the time, they have a lot of TV's at good prices with excellent after sales support. It's highly busy at the weekend, choose your visit time carefully!

Brilliant experience with friendly staff, lots of choice and plenty of great offers, too. Some really good bargains to be had on bulk buys and some really good food to be sampled then purchased from the cafe. Car park is big and offers plenty of spaces. Staff on checkouts really courteous. Can't wait to go back. Ps the pizza is great 🍕🍕🍕

Love this Costco. Been shopping here for 4 years +. However I had a disappointing encounter with a staff member named Callum. He was very rude to me at the door whilst I was trying to enter the store with my partner and 2 very young children. The picture on my card needed updating. He was very abrupt for no reason.

There’s no mango smoothie it made my son cry but atleast they have good food but when we were walking through the shop and my son wanted and extra sample the woman called my son greedy

Definitely go in the week again, so much better than the weekend when every man and his wife seems to be in there. Great Fuel prices too. Saturdays and Sundays are extremely busy in Store and the Fuel Station

Super busy today. A few new products on display to try. Wide selection covering all palates. Roast chickens were disappointing, smaller than usual. Overall costs have gone up. But seem to have everywhere.

Visited Derby store today (fri) with my parents, they're in their late 70's and got lost coming in the first place as not from the area, then were a little out of sorts at the customer service desk. The man who helped them couldn't have been any more friendly and patient and assisted my dad with the whole membership setup and so on. Think his name was Robert, seemed like management but was ever so good. So a huge thankyou from us.

Second visit since becoming an individual member. Very busy, struggled to find a car parking space. Probably because it was last day of the month (pay day). Enjoyed the shopping and got some reasonable priced goods.

Very busy Some items can be bought quite cheaply. Be aware the price tickets don't show the price payable VAT is added at the till. Good choice of products.

Visit Costco Thurrock regularly as I live in Kent. Visited Costco in Derby as I was in the area. Derby was comparatively smaller. However, it found all the products I was looking for.

The jacket potatoes used to be awesome with two fillings at £1.50. Now they charge £2.99 and the spud is half the size and looks lost in the tray.

You have to be careful. Not everything is cheaper then going to a supermarket.

Been a member for over 10 years and recently found the staff to be abrupt and rude, the rules have changed around access to the food area. Some sort of notification to members prior to the change me be a good idea FYI. This may mean more members are aware of the change and your staff on the doors are spending less time shouting at people for walking past. Also if you are going to persist with this I would recommend you create easy access through the tills for people to go to the food court. When the tills are stacked it’s actually almost impossible and create’s frustrations between customers.

Costco has gone downhill recently. They keep cutting useful groceries from their range. Today I came across petty rule changes, it caused me to halve my planned spend and go down the road to Bookers.

Great store.. Other than the miserable big guy that was asked to help me with a large heavy item.. Never even spoke

Great for bulk buying, keep an eye out for special deals. Car park is massive with huge spaces. Tyres are a really good price and decent service too. Petrol is the cheapest in the area by generally 1 or 2p per litre. It can be a pain to get out during rush hour as the exit is on a busy roundabout. Maybe that will improve once the roadworks have been completed. Note there are parking restrictions on match days, understandably so.

If you are family of 4 people then it is not great place to do any sort of shopping as everything is in bulk. Also if you live in places like a fat or townhouse with limited storage space then again not an ideal place to shop as it is only helpful for those who can afford to buy literally everything in bulk. Fuel no doubt is cheaper than other major providers so worth it but again queues.

Average place, good if you want to bulk buy. Car park always busy, checkouts busy and slow. Not very good if you need to do shopping quick or if you only need few items. Worth a trip now and again, I won’t be renewing membership

The place is not too big, the goods are smaller than other stores, and the prices are low Definitely better than other stores

I love shopping at Costco but i’ve just bought some oranges and as soon as l put them out they went mouldy and had to through them away

Standard Costo setup always some nice food that's different or crazy tempting chairs, wide range well worth a visit. Huge range of Christmas presents and always seasonal changes from garden pergolas to Halloween decorations.

Great place to stock up, checkouts need sorting. No structure to queing it's a complete free for all, and easy to jump if you know the game

The range of prepared ready meals, fresh bakery products and meat is amazing. Great selection of quality clothing. It's easy to see why the fuel point is busy.

Great prices if you are looking for bulk food and products, also top quality items across many types of product ranges as well as meat, prepared foods and much more. Much better prices than large supermarkets. Traffic at the entrance roundabout is now usually backed up even when it's not busy on the roads, just be aware. Executive membership gets you in an hour earlier than normal and you also get 2% cashback on your purchases, which is very good and pays for itself if you purchase normal bulk items a couple times each month a few big items a year.

Filled a trolley with my favourites, some good deals on at the moment. Xmas decorations are out and some good gift ideas. There is a toy aisle at the moment

I absolutely love Costco and I go regularly especially for fresh meat and produce. Can't be beaten but the queues created by the petrol station is horrendous. It makes getting in and out not worth the visit unfortunately.

Recently visited mainly for food as was travelling on holiday, being members we know how cheap the food is and how good. Usual costco, though a lot smaller than others we been to. Service quite slow as well, food not as good either, granted it was busy but compared to Cardiff or Bristol was really slow hence loses a star. Petrol very cheap

Just before Christmas visited early morning to beat the queue for petrol . Went back early evening after work for shopping. Just received a parking fine, from another parking contractor. They tell me the times they have for my car but no pictures. Hope costco do the decent thing and step in. Otherwise I entered at 7 in the morning and left after 5pm. Would of needed a truck not a car for that shopping.

Who doesn't love Costco. Hot dog and Drink for £1.50. Cases of Pepsi for £5.80 (+vat) Pepsi now £6.40 + VAt Good electric items that carries 5 year warranty

Great warehouse type of store requires membership although you can take guests if you are a member. very spacious with so many different things to buy. Many items available to purchase in bulk. Quality products at good prices. Always find something to buy here even when just browsing. Petrol/diesel station here offering cheaper fuel. Popular place for shop owners and general public.

As far as UK Costco shops go, this one is actually really nice. Well-located, clean, petrol station on site. Staff seemed to be very helpful and polite. The assortment of goods is rather standard for Costco (which is what you'd expect anyway), yet I enjoyed my experience shopping there compared to the shops in the London area.

Yes ticks all the boxes nice and clean as well as tidy had what I wanted and more staff very helpful beats all the other wholesalers I have gone to. Got some petrol while I was there and it is slightly cheaper than the supermarkets but it is pay at pump.. thank you for a very good service.

This is a members only warehouse. There you will find many items of good quality at a good price, but limited range. If you become a member you will soon find you shop differently in so much you tend to buy in bulk for many food items, so need extra storage space. Well worthy of the 5 stars.
