Costa Coffee Swaffham in Breckland

Never went here but Google keeps asking for a review. Sorry. I guess it has coffee that is up to Costa standards, which is usually nice

My favourite local Costa coffee. Every time I've been the place is clean, there's never a long wait, the staff are always fabulous and friendly. Most importantly the drinks are made correctly here, I've been to several costas that seem to have poorly trained staff that don't make the drinks correctly and you can really tell. Never had an issue here. They've also always been attentive to and respectful of my little boy when he's with me - ensuring his drink is the right temperature (not too hot! As again often the case in other costas). Would strongly recommend this Costa above all others in local area.

Costa at Swaffham has good seating area, pleasant staff, usual good selection of drinks and snacks, and is close to free parking spaces. I revisited on 18/10/23 & the staff were even nicer & friendly. Free parking is a 5 minute walk away. Excellent coffee shop.

I must say, since moving to Swaffham, this Costa has always been my favourite place to go for coffee and a lovely atmosphere. The staff are always kind, friendly and have wonderful smiles all round. Today was another example of their outstanding customer service. I'd brought along my little furry friend, Bug, who I'm currently looking after. Unfortunately, Bug wasn't allowed in the building, which is understandable. However, one of the members of staff came out and offered to watch him outside while I went in. I mean, I don't blame her, Bug is adorable (see photo). This resulted in both myself and Bug enjoying a delicious beverage together. I'll say it again, outstanding service, every time. Thank you

Ok place for a meet and a coffee

Alway enjoy dropping in when in swaffham.

Usual Costa coffee experience once we got in. A local came along and banged on the door to be let in. Apparently, the latch slips down and locks when people leave. Always happening, no one seems bothered to fix it.

I pass this costa on my way back from wells next sean the Girls working here are the best staff friendly always seem happy to serve sorry lads

Always stop in here while on way to Walsingham. Girls who work here are polite, courteous and hardworking. When I've been in were able to show good skill working under pressure and competence when dealing with demanding/challenging customers.

Good place for coffee and a snack.

Today I visited swaffham costa and as I went to get some sachets of sugar, a worker was leaning a tray with dirty cups and plates on it and taking the unused sachets of sugar off the dirty tray and putting them back for others to use. I found this very unhygienic and disgusting!! And couldn't believe what I was seeing !!

Such friendly staff always cheerful and helpful. Swaffham is a lovely little town lot of history worth a visit. Would highly recommend to others.

There was no toasties or sandwiches left. Only a few vegan sandwiches were available. Did not enjoy this time. Drink was bad too.

Swaffham is a Market Town. Costa Coffee, lovely old building. Has an upstairs as well as down. Staff friendly. Good Service. 😊

...very sad to see the chairs and tables stacked discontentedly in the corner during the current Covid crisis. However, the service, chocolate fudge slices and flat whites were as warm and welcoming as ever. Appropriately only open for take-away of course at the moment, but we'll keep it on the coffee list for better times...

Generally would not promote this global chain. Buy local avoid places that cannot be bothered to serve drinks in reusable cups that can be washed a used. Stop dumping our finite resources Costa!

Normal Costa , sanitiser and app to scan in with a member of staff taking details if you could not scan, rather let down by still serving youngsters without masks although at least they were take away. A nice Cappachino and hot sausage bap Helped to mitigate a miserable wet Saturday

Staff were very polite and attentive

Both members of staff, were happy & welcoming. The air conditioning was a perfect escape from a super hot summers day. The iced lemonades were made to perfection. The seating was nicely spaced to ensure social distancing. A perfect break on our journey home.

Great coffee in a great building however the toilets could do with some refurbishment

Restaurant not very clean and toilets are even worse! Last few times I’ve been the drinks have had no flavour either. Won’t bother again. Not going to keep giving them a chance and wasting my money. Sorry.

Swaffham Costa Coffee, a genuine café to go with family and friends. Peaceful environment and gentle staff. Nicely decorated and cozy.

Nice seating, including an upper level, but Wi-fi reception is poor (except in the bathroom).

Long wait for coffees. Then the caramel latte was iced and should have been hot. Eventually hot version did not have caramel sauce mixed in.

Didn.t like Costa had to wait 10 minutes for the toilet. Coffee and tea not very good .l was told to leave my tea bag in cup of hot water to fuse.Whole visit awfull.

Visited for lunch today. Service slow, not even a hello, I will be with you in a moment, you are not acknowledged until they are ready. When we did get served, no sorry to have kept you either. Asked for 2 glasses of water without order, not on tray. Went back down for another wait just for this.Sat upstairs and ate, been here lots of times with my children. Yet today was told they are too noisy never ever had this. If I feel they are being noisy I do tell them. The same girl who served us then took tray never been cleared up before so clearly wanted us out.I was not happy so asked to speak to manager, the same girl who served us and told us that kids are too noisy was apparently in charge. I asked her why we were told the kids were noisy she said it is due to neighbours never had this before and often visit weekdays. I asked if neighbours were working which she said yes. I then said maybe you can’t have children in here if this is the case and mentioned the poor service. I then went to check neighbours they do not work Saturday or Sunday. If the case is noise don’t open upstairs, my kids know they have to be respectful to others, they do not jump on furniture or scream. They may laugh which can be loud but they are children. Clearly not a place for families. I could understand if this was our first visit and one was screaming but it is not our first visit we are regular visitors. I am absolutely disgusted and will not visit anymore. I advise others with children not to visit either

Visit this establishment on a regular basis for lunch or early tea and cake. Always excellent food and good service.

It's a average Costa, that is good quality coffee and food served by friendly and helpful staff. The only down side is that the atmosphere is corporate, but it is a large corporate organisation so that is what to expect.
