Costa Coffee in Glasgow City

It's a Costa. Does what it says on the tin. Nice coffee.

We had a cup of tea over there. The atmosphere is good.

Always like to pop in here when in Glasgow staff are lovely always very obliging. Internet not playing but they still honored our rewards

Loving the bright new look after the refurb, and staff are always smiley and friendly, and food/drink all great too :)

A chain coffee shop I would consider a return visit too if I am back in the area. Unlike other coffee shops, background music was in the background allowing people to hold conversations without trying to let everyone know about it, making it a relaxing spot for a brew. Staff were all friendly as well.

The medium coffee is huge, compared to where we live. Pleasant establishment and very correct treatment.

What lovely staff in this Costa then best yet.

I always make time to have either breakfast or brunch at St Vincent Street Costa. Being a foodie, there are a myriad of goodies on display, and the mocha is just outstanding! The staff do a brilliant job, and it is one of my favourite places!

Hazelnut hot chocolate was delicious.

Standard costa drinks was okay but staff were so rude made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Was going to sit in on my lunch break but felt I have to leave as staff were whispering and looking at me as I waited for my drink.

A coffee and a bacon bap. The bap was distinctly average.

Nice big spacious costa coffee in the city centre with lots of big windows for people watching and watching the world go by , staff were nice latte was nice

Excellent service from the lovely staff at this Costa today. I dropped my drink by accident and it smashed, the staff were so lovely about it, particularly the girl with very long hair. They were more interested if I was ok and changed the products we’d bought that were ruined. Someone literally materialised instantly to clear it up. They were so sweet about it! Coffee tasted lovely too, thank you

I have been to France and Italy where you get proper coffee, I always feel that Costa coffee is either bitter or milky not the best to be fair but its down to preference I suppose

The best place to sit in and enjoy an evening with your partner. A cup of coffee and chit chats are best. Calm place to be in. No worries if you don't have a partner. You can grab a book and go there.. Read in a peaceful area..

The coffee in Costa is quite good. The pastries are pretty normal for a chain coffee shop. A nice place to chill

Love coming to this costa location. Staff are quick and cheery despite the rush they are often under! The place is always clean. Greg and Chloe are especially great servers.

Went into Costa coffee at St Vincent Street as usual the coffee was lovely however the hygiene of the place was shocking. I asked three different staff to clean one of the table so I can enjoy my coffee and snack. To be told that they are busy in a very aggressive manner. Shocking behaviour and shocking hygiene standards. This place should be shut down for failing the food hygiene standard

Super friendly and helpful. Clean well stocked disabled toilet. Costa opposite claimed no decaf coffee 'due to supply issues' and could only take cash. Went over the road to this Costa and they had no issues whatsoever.

My 1st time in this particular shop. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly & helpful staff. Although busy coming & going the staff found time to clear & wipe tables while remaining pleasant to customers. Keep up the good work.

it's OK. if you like warm milk. because that's what Costa coffee is. zero taste of coffee unless .. bizarrely enough, you order from a Costa machine . so many options these days this is a poor choice . I could ring off at least a dozen places that do superior coffee but I won't because I'm not being paid 😔

Just about what you'd expect from a large coffee chain, not as pleasant as a well run independent shop but good amount of space and tables with a more secluded area around the side. Service was fast, staff were pleasant, toilets were clean and Glasgow City WiFi works inside. They don't mind you sitting for a while and doing work/studying etc. Serves beverages and a small selection of food (sandwiches, toasties etc.)

Get the seating sorted and chuck lot the computer users who are clearly taking up FAR TOO much space and not a coffee in sight.

Im a frequent Costa customer and found my visit to St Vincent street today excellent. The staff are welcoming with a warm friendly smile which makes a happy environment to sit and enjoy your coffee or lunch. Also a huge well done for the outstanding care and cleanliness taken during Covid to keep us customers safe. Well done to you all it’s much appreciated 👍

I continue to despair of people who work in the food service industry during a pandemic, where we are all told to wear a face covering to prevent infection, yet they constantly fiddle and adjust their badly fitting masks in the process of preparing food, without cleaning their hands having constantly handled their face covering. Yeuch.

Love this little costa! Coffee is always great, staff are friendly and they make sure it’s easy to follow guidelines. One gripe would be the location of the food as you might miss it and it’s hard to double back with the one way system but I’m sure it’s to prevent back up in the current set up so don’t think much can be done.
