Friendly staff, easy place to get a coffee/snack and sit for a business meeting/lunch/chill whatever.

Drive thru is pointless. It’s supposed to be a quick option but they are just so inefficient. Today I was the 4th car in the queue when I paid for my order. The first car was already at the collection window when I paid. It took over 10 minutes for the 3 cars ahead of me to get served. Crazy inefficient.

Service was pretty quick but I still had to wait a decent bit, went through the drive through so can really comment on the atmosphere and decor but it nothing stood out to me from what I could see into the store. The staff were polite if overworked and tired but they got me my drinks. The drinks themselves were disappointing but did the job of keeping me awake.

Convenient Costa located just by Farnborough airport, great for popping in for a coffee and a bite to eat before picking someone up at the airport.

Visited at 4pm to make use of a "cake for £1 reward delivered to my app". It was disappointing to find that there were only 3 slices of loaf cake left. Service was slow: it was over 20 minutes from entering the building to sitting down with our coffee and the restaurant was cold. Staff were pleasant and the coffee was good, eventually.

Lazy service. Couldn't eat in because they closed in two hours so didn't want to wash any more dishes.

Long queue for 2 coffees, long means 25 minutes!!!!

Ordered through the app for click and collect, no clear direction where to pick the order up from (app says to talk to a barista, but it turns out it is sat at the front of the store where anyone can get it as there is no one stood nearby) not enough staff and the staff that where there were running around but achieving nothing, food was stone cold by the time we got it and despite there being a huge queue the drive through was empty and there were a handful of people sat inside so no clear reason why it was taking so long to get through everyone - very disappointed, will not be using click and collect again (items were missing despite being available in the app and when queried we were told to call up for a refund as there was nothing they could do in store)

Drive through... Slow slow slow. And hardly anyone inside either. All coffee drive throughs seem to be like this now. Won't be coming back.

My friend and I received £100 fine each! Went into costa to show proof of purchase and were told costa cannot help, need to contact private parking company! 😡

Best Costa in the area and I have been to them all the early morning staff in particular are amazing 🤩 Uber friendly and welcoming and even remembered my order after only 3 visits. Asked for and paid for a medium tropical mango bubble frappe with no cream in the drive through and got a small one with no bubbles. I didn’t realise this until I got home about an hour later and didn’t want to waste yet more petrol and have tried to call today but got a silly automated message from customer service and no direct link to the shop. Very frustrating and annoying.

Ordered a drink and when I got to the window was given a different drink, and when i mentioned it was not what i ordered i was told there was nothing they could do. Made to feel a bit stupid and it’s a shame as i’ve always thought this drive through had the best customer service but i’m probably not going back.

Sadly, it’s always unable to give ice drinks. There’s always an issue. The staff are friendly and I feel for them.

Came in 3rd September at 18:00 to have a coffee with family, walked in and I could feel the cold breeze from the air con which was absolutely freezing, asked the Chinese looking guy called (KISNA) behind the counter to turn it down and what temp it was set at and he rudely replied that it’s set at 17° and that he is not going to turn it down to which I replied if you don’t know how air conditioning works don’t use it. Sorry but you are not in Kuwait here my friend the temp outside is not 45° for the air con to be down to 17° blowing right over my head. I’m here to enjoy my coffee not bloody get hypothermia. The management needs to get involved because this is just ridiculous to have staff being this rude to customers. I’m paying your wages so you need to listen to my concern.

Be careful, you’ll get stung for a large parking even with a blue badge holder who parks in the provided space.

Terrible service, staff member barked at as as though we were in drive through when in the cafe, had no time for customers and ran out of saucers for the coffees! It wasn't even that busy! Worst experience from a Costas yet.

We come to the drive through here once a week after my daughter finished work. We have noticed over recent months how friendly the staff are, genuinely friendly & courteous service !! Great to see as rarely seen these days - well done to the team here.

Visited on a Friday afternoon and the counter queue was almost out the door - I timed how long it took for us to get served and it was just over 20mins. There seemed to be plenty of staff but of course they have to serve drive through customers as well. Ordered hot drinks, toastie and cake which was fine and although busy, we managed to get a vacant table. Noticed a member of staff clearing and cleaning tables but not sweeping the floor areas, there was a pile of crumbs and other crud all around where we sat. Note that parking is restricted to 90mins unless you get an extension validated at the counter - you have been warned!!

Basic food choice served by friendly, customer-focused staff in a pleasant environment with sufficient car parking space. Dine in, take away and drive through all available. Only downside was the timelapse in clearing used items from tables (commented previously by other reviewers) which could be helped if a rack was provided for outgoing customers to deposit their trays.

Over two months broken machine (Farnborough Gate). I have been there to get a coffee more than once to have in only to be given takeaway cups each time. They said their machine was broken? Was not busy and they cannot wash a few cups for people who want a cup and not a takeaway cup? Not wanting to return as felt the staff were quite rude. Also not really hygienic as they use the same milk jug to heat up the milk but not washing.

Rudeness from A New Manager, this place never improve! Costa customer service going down the hill unfortunately..... Customer service shocking in this place and looks like never going to improve, had terrible treatment from new intoxicated manager who use to work as a barista in this place 2y ago with a Romanian he is not there anymore as per his rudeness towards staff and customers he's been removed we believe, texting his staff members that customers must be barred from this place and making stories up! Why costa never reply to complaints? Twice we send complaint letter to Costa no reply!

Regular weekly visitor - since refurb service has slowed considerably and I have walked away twice in recent weeks as unable to wait. That said ,Coffee is always good quality here though but what has happened since refurb?

Failed to take my order at the drive thru ordering point and then when I arrived at the collection point they wanted me to drive back round the drive thru to take my order again with at least 5 cars behind me - terrible customer service. Could have been easyily solved with taking order at this stage rather than the solution stated. This resulted in no order being taken at all and left with no coffee's. Doubt ill be back.

Consistently poor. Great location and convenient, but they constantly forget to add cream to drinks but they are happy to charge the extra .50p. I wouldn't ask for it if i didn't want it! The queue is always long to drive through again and ask for it

Terrible Costa, slow service, the place was disgusting,the tables were covered in crumbs and stains so I had to move drinks to sit at a table to work. Then if you stay longer than 90mins you get fined which isn't clear so a £60 quid fine on top of a terrible experience.

The staff are the best at this particular costa, always friendly and cheerful and great swift service. We love visiting Costa in Farnborough

Change ur closing times cuz all the staff members in the Costa close the doors more than 30 mins early despite strolling around the store. Clearly just can’t be asked to do their job

Staff are polite but massively overworked. It's always too busy so the tables are not cleaned. Please hire more staff before they burn out.

Food OK but toilets disgusting, running tap, handryer not working and does anyone clean the underside of the toilet seat? Service rather slow and it would have been nice to have both sides of the bread toasted. Usually good, what happened.

Found the service to be very sloe today, especially considering how quiet it was. Staff seemed unsure of what they're doing and no sense of urgency. Coffee was OK, but surprised how all Costa Coffee shops, use the same milk jugs over and over without rinsing or cleaning? This lack of process can only reduce Coffee quality and increase bacteria risks. Come on Costa, up your game!

Good Costa, drive through, indoor and outdoor seating. However because of the drive through the indoor service can be very slow. Took me 10 minutes to get 1 cortado today and there were only 3 customers before me. Also their brutal parking policy can be problematic for people having meetings.

The latte was so hot that I had to drinks it 20 minute later ,and the vegan sandwich was disgusting !!!

Wasting peoples time, if your system don't work put a note before drive through entry that people can't reclaim free drinks instead of asking them to make order and queue for 20 min.

Very poor service. Don’t park here you get parking tickets for £100 even when within the time of 90 mins, which I had specifically asked about to an employee. The management do NOT CARE! Manager is rude and disrespectful to his customers, he put the phone down on me. He said parking company nothing to do with Costa, I would beg to differ. Also if they were legitimate they would not send a reminder of £100 without sending a first letter to me and my two friends!! Never using Costa here again. Very poor all round.

Disgusting been given a parking fine when we were not over the time of 90 minutes. The manager most most unhelpful when i just called him and he put the phone down on me. They must both be making money out of the customers, won’t be going ever again. The manager would not even give me his address to complain about this fine & costa’s involvement with this parking fining company. Also they sent a reminder of £100 which is exactly what they did to my friend and there was no first letter! I’d say that was in breach of the legal system!

If you're driving through here, 5 stars. If you're eating in 4stars. The staff and facilities itself are 5 stars, the reason for 4 stars is the parking. The car park is small

Got a parking ticket for enjoying too much coffee inside

There are 2 obvious players in the coffee market and you don't need me to tell you who they are. The quality and standards are very consistent and, for me, it comes down to convenience of use (opening hours and location). Food and beverages are always spot on and staff friendly. Yes, you can arrive at a time when they are mega busy so you might wait a bit longer or tables need a clean but that's understandable isn't it? Just wish I remembered to bring my own container more often (there's a planet to be saved after all 😱)

The staff work hard during the lunch shifts and it really shows, not only is the food well prepared and all orders completed in a fast paced environment. It is all done with a smile. I believe they should be tipped and wished an amazing day not only that! I hope costa gives them a well deserved raise.

Tried to use a £10 gift card, given to me just before the first lock down, told it had expired and so worthless - what a rip off gift cards appear to be, I very much hope Costa choke on the £10

Rude service at the Drive Thru from someone who then decided to ruin my coffee and put coffee beans in it! The duty manager stepped in when I returned to fix the coffee and apologised!

Met people there as convenient spot. Food and drink okay but beware!!! I wasn't told and didn't see any notices regarding parking and have ended up with a parking fine, not happy!!! Wouldn't take much for staff to point out or mention. Not going there again 😒

Don't forget to add your registration number into system if you stay longer than 45 minutes otherwise you would have a fine!

I ordered on the app, got to Costa at 20:20 (the closing time is 22:00 on the app) as we walked towards the shop the lights got turned off and a lady came to the door told me it was shut and I needed to email Costa for a refund, when I asked her why they shut early she Pointed to the door and and said staff meeting and shut the door. No order which was paid for and no refund Have emailed and have to wait 7 working days for a refund

It seems astonishing that you can be fined £100 for having leisurely coffee and chat with a friend in this Costa! Clearly I am not alone in this looking at the other reviews, so all I can hope is that more people have the sense to read all these reviews and avoid this Costa. There are many nice coffee shops in Farnborough. Go to one of them instead.

Great coffee and a comfortable place to enjoy for half an hour or so. I haven't used the new drive through facility here, but it looks busy. This place is also very convenient when you have had a shop around Costco, as it is just outside the car park. I will definitely be going here again. Visited again today, met some friends and enjoyed a good catchup whilst drinking great coffee.

Absolutely disgusting! I may as well of thrown £10 in the bin! Went through the drive through and purchased an areo hot choc - so foul tasting, it was bitter because there was so much mint syrup it tasted like tooth paste! My daughter got a kids hot choc and because mine tasted so bad I said to her let me taste yours and it was equally as bad - tasted like warm milk no flavour. So as if that wasn’t bad enough we took one bite out of our bean and cheese toastie and I nearly threw up! Immediately I took it off my 4y old daughter - it was so bad, I’d go as far to say inedible soggy bread and threw them both in the bin. No contact number to complain and get a refund. I never use this type of fast food service but I was so hungry after being in the rain. Now I’m starving and peed off! Daylight robbery at its finest. I’ll never return and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Go to Starbucks it’s a million times nicer!

Terrible service from rude manager. The way he talks to his staff is not acceptable. The majority of staff are nice and polite, except for the manager. He is never happy, never smiles, and very rude to his staff and visitors, always shouting. Generally, place needs clean, tables and seats always sticky and messy.

Very slow drive through, definitely walk in rather than queue

Avoid if you have a baby - access for prams for pedestrians not from the car park is blocked by fixed benches meaning you have to take a full lap of the entire car park perimeter to get in. Inside layout is so packed that you can’t sit with a pram anyway.

I guess this how this coffee shop is making money! By sending parking tickets to its very clients! I went to have a coffee with a friend back in September. I then got a parking charge notice, however my friend didn’t. How does that work? I challenged the notice but apparently it was too late. Since then I gave birth and had been suffering bad postpartum depression, and never had the time to deal with Civil enforcement’s threatening letters. However I now got a letter from a debt collector and they’re asking me to pay £170. I’ve been trying to contact Costa’s customer service For a few days now but their lines are ‘unavailable’!!!

I like the opening hours and costa but only issue I have with them is when i say i want it extra hot they always make it warm. Only 1 or 2 members of staff out of 50 know what extra hot means

Received a 100 parking fine reduced to 60 if paid within 14 days . Went about 5 mins over. How disgraceful Won't be using this place again
