Never order at this place! Paid extra for the marshmallows and paid extra to have cream added on my frappe and it came with neither of the extras i paid for. when i ring no one answer.

Website and door says opentime is 5 30. Tapped on window to talk to young lady who informed me they are wrong and they open at 6am. On my way to work with no coffee

What's not to love about Costa my wife had a breakfast which she loves and I had porridge(special diet) but costa cater for that as much as they can my only critic is there is always to much in the way of cheese sandwiches it's cheese this or cheese that it's frustrating when you have someone who is allergic to cheese to see only cheese sandwiches on the shelve so I think a broader range is needed other than that a great place to just sit and have ten minutes out of a hectic schedule with a decent coffee or tea

Great coffees and service was fine. The atmosphere was loud and aggressive with foul language while loud horse racing drowned out our conversation

After a long week, I thought I'd treat myself to a drive thru salted caramel coffee frap and a cinnamon bun. Absolutely delicious as always! But I'm writing this review for Gav (I think that was the name on the tag). What an absolute breath of fresh air he is! Such a welcoming and joyful personality, definitely deserves some acknowledgement. Keep on being you! 🙌🏻

Good place for a coffee if visiting the retail park. Lot's of choices and can be expensive if having a meal.

Terrible how dare they close at 5:30 they didn’t even answer the bell disgrace they should all get fired just rude I mean it shuts at 6 they are lazy and do not deserve a job

Shuts at 5pm for inside which is far too early ...and you get rushed out. Service is also on the slow side.

Great customer service here from Aiden and the team. One of the best Costa's locally. Oh and loved the new sofa's too.

Enjoy their coffee but they don't offer Armed Forces (army) discount at this branch. Most branches do. Disappointing.

Excellent customer service - my order was missed so there was a delay but the staff member who dealt was courteous, polite and apologetic and brought our order to the table. Store was exceptionally busy so the service was greatly appreciated.

Every time you place an order with the drive thru they make a mistake! Specifically asked for an almond cappuccino with caramel and a skinny cappuccino and yes of course they have put the caramel in the skinny one! I know this is a minor mistake but can I add this is about the 5th time it has happened! Aside from that the coffee is always gorgeous

Good service and great coffee, but a lack of soapwash in the toilet was disappointing.

Screens around work station are filthy. No soap in dispenser in the toilet. Table had not been wiped. Furniture is scruffy. Hope the coffee us better than the venue

Visited a couple of times since the lockdown and quite frankly the place could be a lot cleaner and some of the fabric furniture is threadbare as it was before the shutdown I can't understand why the place was improved and deep cleaned before customer's returned

Customer service at its best, great to see staff so efficient and polite, especially the guy called James, super polite, smiling and offering suggestions, Even offered water for my dog in the car on a very hot day. Sadly this kind of excellent service is rare these days, well done and thanks for a perfect coffee, brilliant service and delicious snack. I will certainly be back next time I'm passing.

Having seen some bad reviews I felt I have had to write my own. I have come to this Costa since it opened and I love it. Staff are always lovely and will go to great lengths to help if they can. They are always so polite and chatty and although I live in Northallerton, I actually think this is probably the nicest one in the area. Without going into detail one or two staff have really gone over and above to help me. They certainly get my vote and I know several people who very much agree with me

Could not use the Cost app. Staff not particularly welcoming. Too busy talking amongst themselves. Would rather go to a small independent cafe. Only visited here because it was convenient and close to shops.

Awful made to wait for 30 mins after putting an order in to then get to the front of the que and told to wait another 30 mins for 2 coffees. Same all the time here won't go back. Either get more machines in or train your staff to deal with busy periods

I really love costa and come all the time but this is the worst costa ever. I’ve rang up so many times to complain. One particular member of staff really can’t make coffee and it’s such a shame as the rest of the staff are lovely and friendly but as soon as I see the ladies bleach blonde hair on the machine I know I’ve wasted my time and money. It’s really not worth the risk it’s too hot and curdled. Sometimes it’s lovely. It’s such a shame she simply needs retraining.

I went yesterday, after waiting in the drive through for a while, I was so disappointed. My shot of caramel syrup was missing from one of my drinks. I know this seems little but when I got home with the drinks having this missing just ruined it. So please make sure you get what you pay for as this has happened a few times to me now.

I'm not really a 'costa' person as I am. Not a coffee drinker. But the festive hot chocolates have been advertised so thought I would give them a whirl. I waited 20 mins in the drive thru queue before getting served.... So that was annoying. We ordered Terry's Chocolate Orange hot choc, when I took a drink it was less than luke warm 🙄, its was like drinking brown water. Not chocolatey and definatley didn't taste of orange. Earlier in the week I got a Mcdonalds hot choc which coat far less and it was outstanding in comparison. Waste of money and time! Not at all festive!!

Terrible service. Ordered via the app for collection went to collect, yet the door was locked, the lights were off and nobody was bothering to answer the door. After 10 minutes I gave up and rang to complain, it was that or sit in a half hour queue of cars at the drive thru. Never again, no apology when I called and finally received my now luke warm drink either.

Been to Costa a few times this week and the lad working the drive thru had us giggling away with his bubbly personality, jokes, smiles and waves! Fantastic customer service, really makes a difference and brightens up your day! :)

Always a nice cuppa and usually busy just don’t expect it to be tidy. Trays everywhere, rarely collected and tables never seemed to be cleared and wiped.

This place needs some cleaners desperately! Toilets are disgusting, no soap either, tiles and floor haven’t had a good clean in a long time, seating area not too clean, cobwebs everywhere, chairs dirty. Under fridges dirty. I recommend someone contacts a local cleaning company to give this place a good deep clean as I see on the reviews mine isn’t the first comment on the un-cleanliness of the place. Contact Suzi Clean (Darlington) I’m sure they could help sort the place out.

Cleanliness still needs attention, plus you need to get the main door fixed, still needs to be left open and it was very cold sitting having my coffe and please get some butter wouldn't of ordered a teacake if I had known it would be sunflower.
