Costa Coffee in Worthing

Friendly service and great coffee as usual. And now great M&S snacks - gorgeous sausage rolls! Staff the same and just as helpful and friendly as before.

Very poor, coffee not good,tables and seats very dirty with crumbs etc. Not a relaxing experience. And expensive.

Awful hot chocolate. Weak flavour, just warm not remotely ‘hot’. No real chocolate flavour. Staff seemed to be in a daze. The long metal spoons were’nt clean and as Iwatched drinks being served I saw a lot of grubby looking cups and glasses being used. The general prep area looked disorganised and unkempt. In short the worst hot chocolates we’ve ever had and at over £7 a waste of money. Costa managers, are you up to speed on health and hygiene training and quality of drinks training ?

Awful hot chocolates, weak, warm. Tasted watered down, near zero flavour. The long spoons were grubby so we left those on the side. Staff seemed in a daze. Would not recommend this place. It was a Sunday morning. Not so much about the money, its the quality that lacks.

It’s always a bit slow here, a pretty run of the mill costa but sometimes it’s nice to have a Costa coffee even if you do have to wait a while for it 🤷‍♀️

Service very bad and horrible coffee

Rude staff, no customer service, the man making coffee was swearing and slamming things around, the girl on the till was rude and unhelpful - no Christmas / plain gift cards available after queuing for ages. The kitchen / coffee area was FILTHY! (Chose not to get myself a drink and just got the drink my client asked for) The guy shouting out the drink (wrong drink) so I said no need to be rude, he then started arguing with me saying when was I rude…. When in all seriousness had been rude and miserable the whole duration I was in the shop! So after queuing for 20minutes, I came away with the wrong drink for my client, only one of the 3 gift cards I needed, no gift receipt, no drink for myself due to how dirty it was and fuming after the lack of customer service demonstrated! Wouldn’t recommend to anyone and deffo won’t be returning!

I bought a roll with 50% off and they charged me full price. I tapped my card before realising but they claimed they had charged the reduced price and lied to me.

The staff were so friendly in Costa in Goring! I took my daughter there after one of her mock exams. Great drinks/ food and great service - we will be back for sure!

I like this branch as staff very friendly. Can be super busy at times due to delivery orders needing to be met, but this isn't the staff's fault. They are working as hard as they can

Needs a good clean and staff to smarten up. Outside is not well kept and tables left and not cleared.

Very friendly staff always try their best. The manager was outside cleaning the pavement area which obviously shows his commitment to the job. Sam was a great member of staff who served me . All staff are lovely and helpful. Shame about the flooring which lets the team down which i guess is due to higher management. Great costa and I visit lots of different costas .

Efficient but could have done with the bar being a little cleaner...didn't affect my experience but as its open for all to see just an observation.

Long queues, overstretched and stressed staff, no proper cups/cutlery (all served in take away cups), assume a dishwasher fault. Very hot and stuffy, no working air con, dirty tables, not good. Please sort this out! Sweet treats are looking smaller every time with higher prices. Not a good experience today

The outside sitting area is a disgrace. Get some more staff to clear it up. Fag butts used cups and napkins blowing about. Much of it ends up as litter on George V avenue. It does not bode well for hygiene inside!

Good place to watch the world go by. Great it is open later than other local café's - so I will be able to sit in again. Not too busy, plenty of space. Outside seats too.

Nice cappacino, good location, close to the bookies which is a plus.

Despite a short queue and the staff looking frantic, it took 15 minutes before my order was taken. The tables were uncleaned, the visible storage was untidy, and my coffee was poured into an ice cold cup. Sometimes I really miss London.

The drinks and snacks are all good but was disappointed to see all the Costa related rubbish strune about the street, it's a shame the people that use the place have no respect for the area.

Under current restrictions staff have done pretty well over the last 9mths. Having to cope with the phone in orders that have to be collected? Deal with a queue of people, staff changes, isolating staff and on and on. ☆☆☆☆for always being open and getting on with the job.

Really bad service today, new girl was in store from another store, talking with customers for a good 1/2 minutes while the other two guys were completely rushed of their feet, we waited in there 25/30 minutes with everyone else, she didn’t stop taking orders, people were clearly annoyed, a lot better when Sam is around.

Really lovely team in the Goring Rd branch, always cheerful and helpful when I see them, even when the queue is out the door and around the corner :-) Great range of drinks, good selection of non-dairy milks - try a mocha with almond milk.(throw all diet-based caution to the wind and go with the extra indulgent toppings too :-) ) I avoid the cakes etc, they are quite expensive so that makes it easier, and I am now low-carb, but I have enjoyed a Sicilian lemon muffin and the 70% dark chocolate is worth it for an energy boost. Loos off limits at present (april 2021) but they are very clean, tidy and disabled facilities and access very good.

Staff friendly, machinery didn't work2start with so paid once finished our drinks,as working properly by then.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy. There were only two people working - one on the coffee machine and one doing the till, heating the food and taking uber eat/ click and collect orders. Far too much for two people to deal with. Food and coffee was great but there could have been one extra member of staff dealing with the online orders.

The price of the coffee has not reduced despite the shop not being able to offer a full service. The shop was not busy I was the only customer but they refused to let me use the toilets. The take away flat white was too big it filled the cup with milk making it a latte for the price of a flat white. These may be points they want to direct to their manager.

Never had a good coffee here despite returning a few times and also requesting coffee be remade, it always tastes off! Don't think its as clean as it could be either

Very polite and friendly staff! Love the drinks! I ordered off of Uber and the whole order leaked. I don't think it was anyone's fault, it's going to happen from time to time when transporting hot drinks; but, Uber eats were awful and would not help. I went into Costa and there were no arguments, they were very understanding, apologetic and remade my order for me straight away. The drinks were lovely and the staff were amazing! Lovely local Costa!

Extremely busy ... good signage sanitiser by door, track and trace, pleasant friendly staff, takeaway only as it's lockdown but still excellent service.

Not offered coffee in our Frostino and outside was like a pig sty. It wasn't so busy that they couldn't clear the tables and sweep the floor. They also need to stop people walking in with no masks on.

It's nice to get served by a polite member of staff and be able to sit and chill. I finish work at 7am, so it's a great place to wind down before going home

The most inconsistent coffee shop on any High Street not just Horsham. Can never taste the flavour syrups even when I ask for extra. Coffee is bland and flavourless and milk is never steamed properly. Dead coffee, find a Starbucks, Nero or a support a small local business instead these guys are clueless! 💀

Store is tidy and staff can be friendly scones and pastries are good. Coffee isn’t great at all, this isn’t the fault of the staff, costa need to pay more attention and train properly, being a coffee chain would have thought thats what they should do best

Popped in this morning and I loved the friendliness of the staff. Both male and female staff were warm and welcoming, shop was clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. I didn't feel I had to buy everything apart from the coffee I wanted. I don't do lots of reviews but I wanted too write one for this experience. Fabulous service from equally fabulous staff. A BIG thank you to them.

Fairly typical Costa outlet - in the local hospital which people may agree or disagree with - but the coffee may not be absolutely the best, but it is consistent and, unlike the well known American coffee chain, not burned to within an inch of it's life. You know what you're going to get, an acceptable cup of espresso coffee...

Excellent, friendly, local outlet. One of Costa's new better shops. Point lost for rather dingy rear of store, needs better lighting, community noticed "stuffed" in the corner.
