COSMO Belfast in Belfast

First time visiting during/after the pandemic. And honestly, i applaud them for all they're doing under the currant restrictions. Pleasant staff, and service - wasn't left disappointed.

Awful awful services ,serving staff were so rude and the lady who looked like a manager at the top of the stairs was horrible. The service let the whole experience down ,definitely won’t be back or recommending to anyone.Massive lack of manners among them.

We were looking forward to visiting Cosmo again after the restrictions had eased a bit. We booked a table for Sunday Lunch and it was a little different to what we were used to, but under the current restrictions, they really are doing the best they can to remain open.Instead of the ‘help yourself’ that you’re use to, you are now served by a member of staff to what you want. They tend to give you a skinny portion, but if you ask nicely for more, they’ll give you more. Also, you can go up as many times as you like so there’s no need to go away hungry. All the staff are trying to do is minimise food waste, which has always been a problem there with people with ‘eyes bigger than belly’ syndrome.Although it’s not the dining experience you are use to, they have tried their best to keep the best bits but work within the government guidelines. My one gripe would be that there was only 1 member of staff per long row of food. If it was quiet, this was ok, but if you got stuck behind a group, it meant you could be waiting a long time. Also the soft serve ice cream machine has gone which disappointed both the kids and us adults!Well done Cosmo, it can’t be easy jumping through the hoops the government has set out and trying to keep your customer happy.

Visited my first restaurant out since lockdown and had a poor experience we have been here lots of times before . Firstly make sure your hand sanitizers are full secondly I was challenged about not wearing a mask even though I had my sunflower lanyard which says I’m exempt and staff should be made aware they aren’t to challenge that person . Very small portions we all came home hungry won’t be back ever again be frankie and Bennys you ah w just lost yourself a loyal customer

I went there for my holy communion great food but it cost £180 so yea I recommend this place it's way better than china china it says June 2020 but I went in 2019 July

We visited Cosmo Belfast on Saturday 19th December. We have been many times before and were very disappointed with the changed due to Covid 19. A one way system is in place which only works for half of the restaurant. We had a choice of only two beers and two cocktails. The food is served by staff who seem to have been trained to only give tiny portions. Items on the menu were not present. So much or the original menu was not available. They should have remained closed rather than offer less than half the expected service for the full price. We all have bills to pay but I feel Cosmo has damaged their reputation with this current offering.

Had a great time with my friends in cosmos this week, everything is kept really safe with covid 19 safety measures put in place, it's easy to order, the staff are an absolute delight, especially the staff member who served me at my table for drinks and at the tills, his name was Dan and he was super friendly, hospitable and well mannered and made out experiencing a very charming one. We will definitely be back!!! Its excellent to be able to try foods that I would not usually try for one well rounded and very reasonable price, the cocktails are fantastic also.

Always loved cosmo but after yesterday 13th December won't b back I know they have to put safety measures in place but they need 2 review government guide lines 2 make a 2yrold wear a mask impossible chefs didn't even know wot dishes they were serving asked for potato waffles got salt chilli chicken very badly floor layout no stars 4 this visit and will never b back

Went there tonight (11th December) and was really looking forward to a family meal in a restaurant that was highly recommended to us. Well this was the worst experience ever, inedible from start to finish.Rude staff, 'chefs' that didn't even know the food, carvery that looked awful. The food really was brutally bad. I complained and was more or less ignored. Will never be back.Oh, and very flimsy Covid protection measures... Awful... no stars

Bought food and had to wait 30 mins and the food still never came. When I asked for my money back she ignored me. The workers are so rude. Never going back. We didn't even ask for a big meal. It should've only taken max 15 minutes!!

Just had a take away lunch! All safety measures in place (temp taken etc) Worked well and a treat during a restricted half term holiday Thursday! Oh and a good lunch too! Great value £6.99 for one medium box which did two (portion size great value)

Loads of food selection and the staff are very friendly. Would definitely come back again and recommend this place to my friends and family.

My 6y/o's favourite place loves being able to go and choose little bits of food for herself :) friendly helpful staff, fresh food, all recently replenished. No sauvignon blanc but wont hold that against them

Took a trip to Belfast and after a bit of thought we decided to try Cosmo. We had heard lots of good reports from other friends who've been so we just HAD to try it. On arrival we were warmly greeted with a cheerful hello and a smile by a lovely guy..Stefan, I think, was his name, and he explained how the Cosmo system worked. We were amazed with the large variety of food on offer...nobody should ever leave hungry. I opted for the vegetarian options and they were all delicious. My friend went for the more spicy choices and the meat dishes! Everything we had was piping hot so no complaints there. I also spied the array of desserts but i didnt try as i don't really have a sweet tooth...my friend must have had a bit of everything and cleared her plates! The staff were all excellent and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble...even when I spilled my drink round myself, table and floor they were quick to get me extra napkins and had it cleaned up in no time. I was so embarrassed. If you enjoy a buffet style self-service definitely give them a visit. It was very busy during our visit but that just added to the vibrant atmosphere that we enjoy. We were well impressed...looking forward to another visit in the near future!

Had dinner here last night with two friends. It was 9 pm on a Saturday night and as such, pretty late in the day, a lot of the food had either run out or had gone a bit hard!! Still we managed quite a bit and food was nice. Wish we had of eaten earlier!!

I would really like to give 5 stars only to larisa an employee of Cosmo me and a friend went in for a meal and cosmos is cosmos good food for how much your paying but seriously just because of larisa on the 19th of February I will definitely be back in a heart beat her customer service would amazing she was so kind and welcoming person definitely will be back to see her!

My family and I love going to COSMO’s; we all have different dietary requirements and love how we can all get something we like there. This was my first time going there for lunch however, and I was surprised how few options I had as a pescatarian in comparison to dinner time. There were only very few vegetable dishes, only 1 tofu dish and only 1 seafood dish. There were 2 soups and they both contained meat, so I was relegated to chips, onion rings and rice for most of my meal, which is a world of difference in comparison to their dinner offerings. The rest of my family still ate very well, and we had a great time, I just won’t be back for lunch; I’ll stick to their dinner buffet. And I would recommend vegetarians and vegans do the same.

I wanted to leave this review earlier, but I had forgotten until a friend reminded me because she had been to Cosmo as well. I was in Cosmo Belfast a couple of weeks back. It was our first time there. When we got into the lobby we were greeted by a really friendly man. He was absolutely lovely and told us to take a seat while waiting for a table to become available. Then we went upstairs and me and my husband had some doubts because the lady who was waiting for us didn't seem very kind or welcoming, but then we were taken to a table by a young man i think his name is Nahel. We hadn't reserved but he got us a table for just us two near the window, which was perfect because that was what we wanted, and because it was our first time there he explained to us how the restaurant worked. He also recommended us some dishes that he personally likes which was very nice and then he asked if he could take our drink order but neither me or my husband was really sure and he recommended us some cocktails, but I don't drink alcohol so he recommended me a non-alcoholic cocktail. We had an overall lovely experience and our waiter was great. Enough choice of food as well. It was all fresh and warm and when my husband couldn't find something there was staff around to help him. We both loved the desert section the most, especially the chocolate fountain, but would like to see more clearly indicated where to find which cuisine and maybe in larger text where clean cutlery is. Or maybe we both need new glasses. It's also not too expensive. So it's really great. Even if you're on a budget, but you want good food and a lot of choice then this is definitely for you.

Restaurant à volonté au centre de Belfast proposant un buffet gargantuesque. Ce n'est pas un gastronomique mais très bon rapport qualité prix et permettant de passer un bon moment en famille.

Massive buffet style restaurant with lots and lots to choose from. Obviously it’s quantity rather than quality. Big queues in the downstairs lobby even overflowing outside, yet when you go upstairs to the Restuarant there are plenty of seats available. Booking would be advisable. Overall just okay and we wouldn’t rush back. On a very positive note - staff were very friendly yet professional. Well done guys.

Went here while we in Belfast visiting the Titanic museum and city. Pleasant atmosphere not too noisy but very busy. Food choices brilliant, hot and plentiful. Food from around the world, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, Indian, English. Puddings and fruit to die for. Well recommended

We went of an evening was very busy, a huge range of food especially chinese and Indian. Food was hot, always a big bonus at these places! Was meant to have a roast dinner section that was a big let down. Was ok ....

I came here 2 days ago for dinner with family for my sisters birthday, the food was so lovely we got to try a bit of everything that day, the staff was so lovely and polite specially the girl that brought our drinks and cake, we tried tipping her but unfortunately she wouldn't accept the money for herself, she suggested to write a comment about her instead, her name is Britney, i would recommend this restaurant for big groups as there's plenty to choose from.

My husband and I took our 2 kids out to Cosmo last night for the first time. When we arrived it was quite crowded the girl on reception imogen was so polite and smiley even though clearly under a lot of pressure. She explained the restaurant to us and of the waiting time. I would recommend booking on Saturday as it’s very busy. Stephan showed us to our table, was so lovely, very positive and upbeat, couldn’t do enough for you. The food was reasonable for the price, it’s all you can eat and drinks aren’t included in the price, we ordered the bottomless glasses which we could just keep topping up as often as we like. Perfect for kids, my girls loved it will definitely bring them back on another day.

First time in Cosmos and will definitely not be my last. Food well displayed and easy to serve yourself. Loved the variety and everything I tried was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Me and my husband met up with a friend at Cosmo. Good selection of food. The service was the best service we have had. The waitress was very polite and very professional and courteous. Her name was Larisa, she was from Romania.

Visited here with family on a busy Friday night. We hadn't booked but were seated after a wait of less than 15 minutes. The waitress explained to us about the food stations since it was our first time at Cosmo. She was friendly and attentive. With regards to the food, there was something for everyone from Chinese, steak, roast dinner, Italian, sushi, Mexican, etc. The kids in our group enjoyed watching their steak being cooked in front of them.

OMG didn’t expect so much to choose from. It was amazing. Great variety and at only £16 per person. Staff were lovely and we just arrived and got a table within 5 minutes. You can eat as much as you want from Chinese Mexican Japanese and the desserts - what can I say. My fav was the lemon cake. Would highly recommend and certainly will be back

Variety is key for me! Fussy eater yet always come away stuffed! Love everything about it and food nice and fresh. Would def recommend.

So we arrived with great anticipation as this was our first ever visit to Cosmo, we were greeted by a very welcoming and polite young man who proceeded to send us upstairs to the dining area. Our server was also polite and it is clear customer service is a key attribute with the staff here.

Llevé a mi madre a niños a almorzar hoy, no hace falta decir que nunca volvería, para comenzar con los vasos nos dieron nuestras bebidas absolutamente desagradables si no tenemos herpes labial, me sorprendería mucho que tengo 2 niños pequeños bebiendo de vasos sucios, cubiertos sucios, platos arenosos con suciedad! ! ! La comida era de 2 estrellas como máximo y es generosa, los desiertos con muy pocas opciones de 10 como máximo. Hablé con el gerente sobre el estado de la vajilla y los vasos y él acaba de pedir perdón y adiós. . . . . . Ah, por no mencionar 3:45 para un pequeño jugo de manzana. . . . . . necesita una revisión seria, ni una persona se acercó a nosotros todo el tiempo. . . . . . Evita este lugar a toda costa. . . . .

My kids love it as they can try lots of different things, great for getting them to experiment a bit more. Restaurant can be a little chaotic and often super busy but if you can get beyond that then it’s good food, reasonable price but booking essential

It has chinese food, curries, pizzas, sushi, desserts, ice cream machine. Soft drink refill as much as you like my view not the best for taste cheaper stlye flavour. But saying that still great there you wont go hungry. Need to book tables wont get in without doing this as a rule. Does have a lift if you need it wheelchairs would be no problem.

I visited Belfast City and decided that we eat in Cosmo as I heard great reviews and I wasn’t disappointed, the food is amazing and everything was perfect had a great time. The guy on the bar Jordan was his name I recommended a drink to us and it didn’t disappoint. Very Friendly Staff!!!!

Tried to book a table in advance but was told as only two people they don’t do bookings and to show up -so we did. We were told it would be a half hour wait (not roughly or a maximum of, we were told “it will be a half hour wait”) so we put our name down, said we’d wait & we’d quickly nip to the bathroom round the corner in Victoria sq first. Must have been 5 minutes we came back. Stood in the over crowded reception, people and prams all crammed in, new people pushing through, very uncomfortable. Stood right next to the reception desk, smiled & made eye contact with the two receptionists. Over 30 minutes passed & we noticed couples getting called who were after us. So we asked if our name was still on the list to one receptionist, as they checked the other immediately said “yea the name we called earlier” & they could put us down again but it’ll be “ half hour wait”. The girl was rude & embarrassed us in front of the crowd. They let us stand there for over 30 minutes knowing she had scored off our names from the list . Extremely dissatisfied & quite angry. Will not be back.

Visited Cosmo for lunch on a busy Friday before Christmas. We had a 25 minute wait for a table but the organisation was exemplary and there seemed to be very good communication between the staff. Once seated we got our drinks very quickly, even though they were flat out busy. Food was amazing!! Constantly being replenished with fresh food and also an amazing selection. Our plates were promptly cleared and all staff were so friendly. Please ignore all the negative comments on this page, as someone who works in hospitality, the staff were amazing and so friendly no matter how busy it was!

Not impressive compared with a long, long waiting queue. Just normal average food with a wide selection.

Me and my husband visited Cosmo on the 27th December 2019 as we always loved coming here. However on this occasion the food was freezing cold and when I went to the bar , the bartender ( I didn’t get his name but he’s Black and has a beard) i don’t care if that sounds rude however it’s not meant to , he made a remark to me calling me the prettiest woman he’s ever seen and I said thank you. but he also kept asking me for my phone number and saying advanced remarks, I felt uncomfortable so I won’t be back. However a lady named Laura I think was very helpful.

It was my first visit to Cosmo Belfast, although I have dined in buffet restaurants on previous occasions. The place wasn't busy and hence we didn't see the harm in placing our used plates on an adjacent (empty) table for the staff to remove. That's until I received a rather terse reprimand from an Australian member of the staff. A simple polite request would have sufficed, but instead I got told to 'Stop doing that on our nice clean table, ok!' from a lad approximately 30 years my junior.

Went here as a group of 4 , walk in, Bad start to the experience , warned we had the table for 1 hour and told we would then have to leave.

It was amazing for first time visit but you will get bored after the 3rd visit. All food is nice except the sushi. Good price if you come during weekdays but they shut half of the food, so better come on weekends so you can enjoy all kind of food they offered.

Fui hoy al restaurante como estaba visitando Belfast. El restaurante estaba muy ocupado, así que esperamos 20 minutos para una mesa y tenía grandes esperanzas. El miembro del personal fue extremadamente grosero y me echó la culpa, a pesar de que mi tarjeta fue aceptada en 3 tiendas posteriores sin problemas. Esto causó vergüenza pública que era totalmente innecesaria. La factura era de casi 50 euros para dos personas y esto parecía muy excesivo para lo que se ofrecía, después de todo, es un buffet.

Como un examen de mitad de escuela (AQE), llevé a mi hija estudiosa de 11 años a cenar. Ella quería ir a Cosmo Belfast en el Victoria Square Shopping Centre Belfast.

Loved coming here but it was so bad this time 16.95 an adult half price for 3 year old ,,where to start currys like water brussel sprouts in a veg curry Bombay potato with baby boil potato nan not even buttered

Ordered water. Usually the waiter brings the first glass of water to you. Now it is 'policy' to bring an empty, plastic tumbler. We were sitting at the far end of the restaurant, a fair old distance to walk. So, I asked for a jug to fill with water and was refused.I pointed out that the girls behind us had one, but that was because they bought cocktails. I don't drink alcohol and am not allowed fizzy drinks, so, water drinkers are discriminated against.

Great variety, nice staff, clean and warm environment. Food is very good quality and delicious!! Chinese, Indian, Asian and European food

So, I do appreciate buffets aren’t known for great Michelin eating experience but I must say some of the staff made it absolutely clear they aren’t enjoying their job.

I was in today and I was impressed of the quality of the food, staff were all smiling and it being my first time Stephan took time and effort to explain to me exactly how their system worked. I would highly recommend this to everyone and will be coming back soon.

we visited on tues nite there was 8 of us we enjoyed ourselves plenty of variations of food to keep all happy some of the wings and chicken had gone very dry but there was still plenty on offer would recommend the live cooking station scallops where lovelly

As an all you can eat buffet restaurant, it ticks all the boxes. Food was edible, and plentiful. M Food was edible

Tasted like my dogs sick, the range of food is so low more of a choice in McDonalds, the coke is made from syrup so is very very sickening and puts you of your meal and staff can just about speak english which isnt convenient especially for tourists

Booked cosmos as we were staying in Belfast for two nights and the kids wanted to go it. I'm not fussed on the place as it's not really to my taste. Anyway we booked for 5.30 waited around 5-10 minutes which was fine. Got into the restaurant and it was like a cattle market people these days have no manners and would nearly tamp over the top of children. Quite a few of the most popular Chinese dishes were empty the food itself was poor because of the poor selection. Safe to say it was terrible and a waste of £90. Was charged for 4 adults and 1 child because they charge by height instead of age in my eyes charging an adults price for a child is a complete rip off because theres no way my child would eat an adults portion. Will definitely not be back.

Place has gone downhill, the coke is made from like a syrup mixture and is either flat, or too bubbly to the point where it feels like your swallowing razor blades which made me feel incredibly sick after having 2 small glasses. All the food is extremley dry and bland and feels like there is no effort put into at all. Never been more disappointed and the staff are extremely ignorant, lucky I didnt smack him, good luck trying to keep this business running as I'm hearing more and more bad reviews about this place, worst restaurant in Belfast do not recommend, unless you wanna be sick cos I'm lucky I wasnt,also atmosphere is dead feel like I'm at a funeral, maybe the restaurants funeral since its dying. Don't have any photos of the food but that's pretty much the same thing.

so much choice at a fantastic price and very friendly staff great place to celebrate all kinds of occasions like birthdays and retirements etc. food to suit anyone with all types of eating habits or allergies.

Visited on a Sunday evening. Great selection of food management was great, sorted two dairy free deserts even though it was near closing. There was one waiter Jim that stood out. He was young but such potential and very pleasant.

My cousin said he was taking us for sunday lunch ...so we were expecting traditional..what a lovely surprise when we walked into Cosmo .....Had to report to receptionist and wait a few moments to be called upstairs ..We were meet by a very friendly young waitress who showed us to our table . She explained certain soft drinks were refilled for free and told us to enjoy our food ...There was a hugh variety including traditional roast ,it was all hot tasty and the place was lovely and clean . There was also a vast array of sweets including a large chocolate fountain ...Can't wait to return to try all the dishes i couldn't manage first time ..

Awful experience - went for lunch and it was horrible. Dried up cold food with a very poor selection. No fish or sushi counter. Only food to choose from was moreless Chinese or Indian which all tasted the same with dried up cardboard chips. Some pizza aswell which was hard as rock. Staff very rude and tried to charge us twice for our bill. Only two options on desserts. Shocking

Great memories of this place from a few years back, when it was buzzing inside, and queues outside to get in.

Terrible experience in Cosmo , We arrived before 8pm checking it was open to 9.30 pm on Sunday evening so this gave us 1.5hrs to relax and eat at our leisure

Staff seem annoyed to be there + food is of a very poor quality + soda is flat + booming music = my experience in Cosmos. I would go to McDonalds before I would return to Cosmos again.

Dropped in again for an evening meal recently. Our table was ready at the pre booked time and the check in girl was efficient and friendly.

We come here quite often and are never disappointed. From being greated at the door by the wonderful Imogen who always works so hard and meets visitors with a welcoming smile, to being met upstairs and shown to our seats by the fantastic Tata who finds nothing troublesome, the staff are always most helpful and attentive. There is every type of food here for all tastes, Chinese, Indian, European including Sunday lunch mash, pizza, salads and the fresh cook counter is amazing. It can be very busy but we tend to go later to let the crowds disappear. The desserts aren't to my taste but there's a great ice cream machine or as the locals call it - a Mr Whippy and with melted chocolate over the ice cream, it's sort of hard to resist even for me. Well done as always to all the staff.

First time here - food is just okay, great selection, weren’t waiting to long, Something different decent experience.

This is the first time we have visited a Cosmo and I think they have a pretty standard set up, so if you enjoyed it elsewhere you will here. We wanted quick easy food after a day out sightseeing and this hit the mark. Good service and no queue when we arrived as soon as they opened at 5pm.

I reviewed Cosmo in 2015 and back then I gave it a glowing report. Unfortunately more recent visits have not been quite so wonderful. The range of food is still quite extensive but many "we make for you to order" stations were shut down. The plate stacks were cold and many of the trays were empty and not being replenished, even though it was only 12:45. I got the impression that the place was not being run on a budget and corners were being cut.

Wow! The food here is fantastic! Absolutely changed my opinion of an ‘all you can eat’ restaurant! £15.00 per adult (bargain) and food is gorgeous! The smaller children pay half price but the selection was incredible. It was very busy...but only waited 10 minutes for a table for 12 of us! I was very impressed with this place! Would I go back? That’s a yes!

The girl was rude and agresive, she shouted us saying that if we left the reception she cancelled our book. Normal food it's no the best. She was rasist.

I definitely would recommend booking well in advance. The waiting area was queued out the doors in disorganised chaos when we arrived for our table. Thankfully another person waiting told us to fight through the crowd to let the girl at reception know we were there. Then we had to wait for our name to be called. One of our party had to wait inside as over the crowd this was impossible to hear! Our table was booked for 7.30pm but we had to wait 20/25 minutes.

Very crowded waiting area with the hostess appearing to be under a lot of pressure. We were seated 30 minutes late despite booking, the place was very busy. Expect to wait up to an hour to be seated at busy times if you don’t reserve a table. Food is average but well priced and a lot of variety.

This was my first experience of cosmos. We waited 30 minutes to be called to our table ( the girl at the desk forgot about us). The lady who seemed to be the main floor person was so condescending and rude to the lovely young waiter who showed us to our table. It was completely uncalled for and so unprofessional within earshot of many diners never mind downright disrespectful and unmannerly to someone who was clearly learning the ropes. He couldn't have been more helpful. The food was absolutely fine. There was a good selection and we definitely weren't hungry leaving but there was a definite sense that the floor staff were visibly stressed and way too busy which is not a pleasant environment to be in. I won't be rushing to return.

Had a good time and there was a decent choice of food and drinks would come back again in the future

Have eaten here many times but today was different. During our meal we were interrupted by a lady demanding to know why we had booked 2 adults and one child when clearly our 11 year old daughter is over 1metre 50cm. Our daughter is tall but apparently because she is over that height she is an adult. The table next to us has a 12 year a lot smaller and was charged as a child. It's bad enough being pestered over such a stupid rule whilst eating than to have to listen to the drivel about company policy. I think it's time to call visiting COSMO an end now and find alternative venue. The food appears to have gone a little downhill than before too. A pity because it was a great venue.

Really enjoyed my meal here. All good was fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back. Wide selection of foods to try. Really enjoyed the steak and prawns which is freshly cooked while you wait..

In for an early dinner as I wanted a wide choice (and low price) and I left without anything really good to say.

I went with another adult and three children. There was an amazing choice of food from the 'round the world' buffet. The food was delicious but I was really let down by the temperature of the food, yes it can take a while choosing how to fill your plate but the food isn't very warm to start with which means by the time you sit it's luke warm. Such a shame as the food did look delicious. They had also run out of ice-cream which seems to be very popular although there is a great range of desserts. However, all that fine food sometimes means you are after a simple ice-cream to top it off.

Took the kids on a Tuesday. Hadn't been in a few years as a previous bad scores on the doors put us off You can't book unless more than 6 in a party. It's an all you can eat buffet style restaurant. Weekday lunch for adults is £9.50 and kids under 5ft in height(as opposed to age) is half price. We got there around 12:15 and had just under 10mins wait for table. On the day we visited there was a choice of Chinese, Indian, pizza, ulster/english fry foods, sushi and a live cooking station but couldn't see what was being made. Disappoingly there was no carvery, despite being told in previous correspondence it was available daily. The curry and jslfrezi were very good. The jslfrezi was light and not creamy. Food was hot and continually topped up. The choice of dessert was poor with 2 cakes.... Banoffee or black forest gateau and cheap ice cream to choose from. You can get unlimited Refills on dispensed drinks, but like most places were very flat. I didn't see any allergy information on each dish. However in places like this cross contamination is almost guaranteed with so many diners particularly children. All in all its good value. By the time we left an hour later there was a queue of people wIting on tables.

Went here for lunch. Only had to wait about 5 mins for a table. Met waitress at top of stairs who really didn't want to be there. Good choice of food although some was only lukewarm. Battered king prawns had run out and weren't replaced again for a while. The desserts were very poor. 2 different cakes available although only mushed up bits left. Again these took a while before being replaced.

This was my first time visiting cosmos and it was a terrible experience. I visited the restaurant on gay pride with a group of 8 people so obviously I was not expecting to be seated straight away etc but I atleast expected polite, helpful staff. When we arrived the woman at the front desk was beyond rude and was not very helpful. She was mid conversation with my friend who was trying to tell her how many people we needed a table for and started to answer her phone without even saying excuse me etc. When we finally got sorted we waited about 10 minutes on a table which wasn’t bad. When seated the waitress was also very rude and didn’t even explain to us how the restaurant worked, luckily some of the people I was with had been before and were able to explain to anyone who wasn’t. The food was luke warm and had clearly been sitting out all day, a few of us got chicken nuggets and they were rock hard and a strange colour. There was a lack of deserts and empty messy trays were still left out. The chocolate fountain had food lying at the bottom off it and the icecream was melted. When going to pay, 2 of my friends were not eating and did not order anything other than drinks, when realising that they were still going to be charged for food even though they had not got anything just because they had taken up a seat, they tried to explain to the woman who was taking payments. The woman was very rude about it, but thankfully did not charge them. I also asked the man who was working along side the woman taking payments if we could all pay separately as it was a group of 8 of us and he told me yes that’s fine, then whenever I said to the woman, she told me it’s not possible to do that? Finally, we were charged a 5% service charge, which obviously I wouldn’t have minded paying if the service was actually good. After looking at the bill we noticed that it said that the 5% service charge was optional, although we were not told this when paying the bill. Overall, my experience at cosmos with horrible and was not worth the £18 I spent there.

Our 2 daughters arrived 10 minutes before the rest of the group (3 more people) We rang them ahead to ask could they change our table from 2 to 5, seemingly the upstairs staff had moved the 2 girls to a table for 6 but the receptionist was having none of it. She said we had to wait in line for our table of 3. Im marking my score 1 point down because of the unhelpful receptionist. This restaurant wasnt full when we arrived so no need to make us wait 15 more minutes after the 2 girls had waited. Had the restaurant been full to capacity I would have understood. This was my first visit and I loved it and so did my 14 year old daughter she said it was her favourite place. There is so much choice the duck, pancakes and sauce is worth every penny of the entrance fee for us.We couldnt stop eating this which didnt leave much room for all the other food, the choice is amazing from salads, Chinese, curries, pizza, steak vegetables. I had eaten that much that I couldnt even try any desserts but they looked really nice. When we visit Belfast again this will be my restaurant of choice.

Called today with 35 Chinese students sadly the staff were unhelpful. It took 15 minutes to get glasses for the children and although the food is good the service does not match it. I would be reluctant to use again for a larger group.

So we have a Cosmo in Edinburgh and I kind of thought this would be about the same. But boy was I wrong. The front desk was a disaster zone. There was just one wee girl on the desk trying to get everyone sorted. And believe you me, it was busy. There should have been a more experienced member of staff downstairs to sort out the customers. But no they were all standing about upstairs leaving her to sort the mob downstairs. There needs to be signs telling people what to do when they arrive at the front door. A queue for walk ins and another queue for booked tables. You would think that was simple eh? Obviously not !!

First time at cosmos as everyone was telling me I should go I was missing out so when and didn’t wait long about 5 minutes then was called to go to our table the guy took r drinks order very friendly welcoming so go our food was a lot of different varieties but it wasn’t all that to be honest don’t know what big deal is to go to cosmos probably will be back near future but no rush to be honest

Fui aconsejado por un amigo que visitó aquí para probarlo. Me dijeron que es irreal. También me recomendaron reservar una mesa, ya que si no lo hiciera, tendría que hacer cola porque normalmente está ocupado. Así que lo hice.

He estado en Cosmo muchas veces antes, todo está bien, pero esta noche habrá sido mi última visita, encontré un pelo en mi comida, no es un gran problema, ya que es un buffet, por lo que este tipo de cosas es inevitable, pero así fue. manejado por el personal que ha consolidado esta siendo mi última visita, esperó 10 minutos para llamar la atención de un trabajador que se disculpó y dijo que dónde iban a conseguir un miembro principal del personal que llegó y preguntó cuál era el problema que explicamos y enseguida se pusieron a la defensiva y dijeron que podría ser uno de los nuestros, que no lo era, ¡ni siquiera era del mismo color! Luego preguntaron qué queríamos que hicieran? '' Como es buffet, esto sucede, así que no podemos retirar dinero ni hacer otra cosa realmente, ya que podría ser de un transeúnte. '' Nunca pedimos ni siquiera indicamos ligeramente que queríamos que se nos compensara, simplemente queríamos hacer conscientes del cabello y al menos espero que cambien la bandeja de comida que nunca hicieron, incluso después de haber dicho que lo harían. Estoy seguro de que si alguien ha tenido un pelo en su comida, saben que ponerlo en un lugar puede ser una decepción tan grande e irónica. Entonces, cualquiera que lea esto antes de su visita y encuentre algo en su comida que no debería ser, no lo haga saber al personal, ya que se sentirá como si fuera su trabajo y que su dinero se vea mejor. I go to Cosmo quite often. It has a wide range of different country's recipes, so you have the chance to taste them all. I suggest to go in the evening when everything is open: it's really worth the price :)

Reservé un cumpleaños número 50 para mi pareja, fue la fiesta más estresante, el personal no nos entendió, porque había un grupo de más de 6 personas que querían un vaso tenían que subir al bar y pagar 3 libras por vaso. la factura tenía que pagarse en su totalidad con tarjeta o en efectivo, algunas personas solo tenían efectivo, otras la tarjeta era una pesadilla, solo tenga cuidado si realiza su reserva para un grupo grande, y para completar el 5% de servicio, sin servicio como Nadie entiende cómo conseguir una pesadilla de bebida, nunca más

Asistí al restaurante el lunes festivo del lunes de mayo con mi madre y mi pareja, en nuestro viaje anual a Belfast. Dos veces anteriormente habíamos intentado entrar en el Cosmo, pero hubo una espera extremadamente larga que fuimos a otro lugar, así que reservamos esta vez para asegurarnos de que nos sentáramos y estuviéramos muy emocionados, ya que también habíamos recibido comentarios excelentes de amigos . Chico nos gustaría que nos mantuviéramos alejados.
