My family and me came in on Easter Sunday and had the carvery and it was beautiful to have fresh vegetables and the whole dinner was fantastic than we had puddings and that was absolutely gorgeous home made trifle

At a time when public houses are struggling, it’s clear to see why this local establishment continues to defy the trend. The food is always first class and reasonably priced, and Aeron’s festive menu at this time of year is truly delectable. However, tonight simply went above and beyond. Thank you so much for organising an evening where the children could meet Santa and Mrs Claus. The effort you made to create a truly magical and festive experience was outstanding and it was so uplifting to see so many families filled with joy creating lifelong memories during an evening at the Corvus. To donate all profits from the night to Latch (A Welsh Children’s charity) should also be commended. Keep up the great work Aeron and family, we are lucky to have you. Merry Christmas.

Fabulous Sunday carvery and gluten free option, lovely little pub

Food was wonderful and the staff were helpful and very tolerant of our sense of humour. Would definitely go again. The Christmas menu was amazing value for money.

What can I say,Sunday carvery was amazing..im partial to roast potatoes and these were amazing.this was despite them being extremely busy..I had the roulade for pudding,it did make me wish I had room for more.so I paid for an extra slice to take home with me.the staff were really helpful and friendly,I will definitely put the Corvus on my list of places to go to again..

It's a pub on a street with small but cosy rooms. The lady behind the bar was really hospitable and I felt welcome whilst awaiting my companion to arrive. I ordered 3 lots of chips as normally not many are given which was a mistake here. The portions were enough for any adult. The place is dated but very homely which added to the atmosphere. Around 9 pm it was filling up with locals but the place still held its brilliant ambience.

We just called in as we were passing and I'm glad that we did. I had the lasagne and my husband had the chicken tikka curry. Both were delicious and piping hot. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again

We just called in the Corvus as we were passing. Glad we did. A very pleasant friendly atmosphere. The lunch was very enjoyable. The only downside was, after eating the beautiful lasagne I didn't have room for pudding. Nevermind, next time as we will definitely dine there again

Popped in on our way through St Clears looking for a spot of lunch with 4 girls. What a treat, the lovely gentleman told us he was on his own cooking and serving, you honestly wouldn't have noticed quick service, lovely food and fantastic portions sizes. Even better Cold River Cider which went down a treat. If I am ever back in the area will be sure to pop in!!

This was my second visit. Came a year or so ago and when I knew I was going to be back in the area I made a reservation straight away. This place serves the most amazing pub food. Huge portions and reasonable prices. The staff are super friendly too!

Went here as a group of 7 of us. Don't get me wrong!, the pub is a little old fashioned but it is definitely worth visiting for the food. We all ordered something different from the menu. Excellent meals and very generous portions. Staff were very friendly and helpful too.

We called in yesterday but too long a wait for a table so booked for tonight. So glad we did. Food was fantastic. I had lamb shank which just fell off the bone, perfectly cooked. It came with properly cooked vegetables too. My husband had the seafood basket and wasn't disappointed either. Good selection of seafood and lovely chips homecooked style. Pudding were also amazing. I had raspberry and white chocolate roulade and my husband had salted caramel cheesecake. Both homemade qnd delicious! Thank you for an excellent meal a great end to our day.

We just had an amazing Sunday lunch. I cannot move after eating so much.They serve so much meat on your plate that we and other tables had to get silver foil to take away the meat that we did not eat. The service was fantastic. They were very attentive. There was a new waitress and the bar manager that were serving .It was her first time working on the Sunday lunch and she did an amazing job. The pub was very busy and it is quite easy to see why. however, this did not affect the great service.Amazing food.The cake finished me off. Time to take a siesta! Absolutely amazing establishment! Myself and my partner was staying over an hour walk away, and decided to walk the dog to the pub for some food and drinks. The walk to say the least was excruciating mainly uphill in 20 degree heat. I'll touch on that again later. We got to the pub and had to most lovely welcome from the girl working the bar. We sat outside in the sun with the dog and even though we were out the way, certainly weren't forgotten about. The lady was extremely attentive, and took our order. The food was immaculate and i highly recommend the minted lamb, absolutely beautiful! We had a lovely conversation with her when we went inside and also with the locals there. All of them tried helping us to get a taxi back to where we were staying so we didn't have to do another 6 miles walk mainly all uphill! When that failed we went to go start walking back, but the owner of the pub pulled up beside us and offered us a lift back so save our poor little legs! This establishment will go above and beyond, and we were eternally grateful for their kind hearts! One million percent recommend this place, and will definitely be going back in if we find ourselves back in St Clears. Thanks again to everyone who works there!

What a Treasure! The food was great, the staff very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. We managed to get there twice on our weeks holiday and on both occasions the food & service were brilliant.

Family meal. We’ve spent the weekend near by and came here to celebrate a 50th birthday. We had starters mains and dessert. Omg it was amazing proper country pub food. Reasonable prices. Would highly recommend

SUNDAY LUNCH Just home from Sunday lunch at the Corvus good service , great Sunday lunch plenty of choice of freshly cooked vegetables with huge homemade yorkshires and the crunchie cheesecake was simply delicious Thankyou guys

The owner is trying discredit this honest review. Please make your own minds up by reading my reviews on other establishments we have dined at in the area. Pre booked a table for this evening. When we arrived there were 2 tables already seated and served with their meals. The waitress was stood in the doorway to the kitchen and took a couple of minutes to acknowledge us, when she did she only told us where our table was.After between 5 and 10 minutes later she came and took a drinks order. We then had to ask for the menus. It took about 20 minutes for our order to be taken. A party of 11 arrived and it wasnt until after they had been served that we got our meals. Once finished and our table was cleared we were offered desert but after waiting a substantial amount of time we decided to pay and leave.I went to the bar to pay and the waitress was again stood in the kitchen doorway with her back to the restaurant.Again left waiting .when I was seen to I complimented the food but said how disappointed the service had been, I got a flutter of the eyes and a sorry. The food was very nice, my mum.had the vegetable lasagna which she enjoyed, my partner had the minted lamb steak which other than not being hot was flavoursome. I had the salmon and noodles which was very nice. This was a nice meal ruined by a total lack of service, and is a rarity for me as I never tipped as it hadn't been deserving of one. We will not be returning or recommending. The reply to this is rubbish, neither my mother partner or I were rude to the waitresses and we never turned an opportunity to order down. The owner needs to learn to accept criticism as well as just praise. All 3 of us are caterers with my partner and I being fully qualified and experienced chefs. Replying with lies is a bad way of ignoring failures.

Try it we did and were more than happy. Sometimes a meal can be judged on quantities, and this one as well as portion size is a quality product. A nice sign is the various sauces in separate dishes and not sachets. We were accommodated even though they were very busy and struggling to cope. A very pleasant experience.

Visited here whilst staying in the local area on vacation and needing to find somewhere to watch a football match on Sky Sports. The people here were really friendly (including the locals) and we were made to feel very welcome.

Once seated we were looked after by the two girls who also serve at the bar and do a brilliant job. Once the food arrived we weren't did appointed. Perfectly cooked and fresh to order and plenty on your plate. Overall great food, great place and great service. Would highly recommend a visit. Booking is advised especially at busy times.

Great meal with views to die for

16 of us went for food at this pub and it was lovely. We pre-ordered and only waited 15 mins for our food to arrive nice and hot. Staff were friendly and the pub had a nice atmosphere.

Staying in the area for a holiday we popped into the Corvus which was just down the road. Super friendly team and lovely Sunday carvery.

Called here on our way to lydstep, Friday lunch time 24th June, can't praise the gentleman running the place enough, he was very welcoming whilst running the bar AND cooking the food and what a FANTASTIC job he did, our food was perfect 👌🏽 one of the best places we've been, this place has everything spot on, full credit to the gentleman running it 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 will definitely visit again and I recommend you do too!

Visited the Corvus Inn for the first time yesterday. Wow! I had an excellent lasagne with garlic bread....best ever! The Beer Garden was well kitted out for a Welsh summer too.Highly recommended.

Lovely old pub serving a wide range of English, Welsh and international dishes. Attentive staff and prompt service.

Visited Corvus Inn for food and to watch the football. The staff were very friendly and helpful and put the game on the TV for us to watch I the restaurant area so we could watch it while we ate. Good selection of food, big portions and good value too. Recommended!
