Excellent place and superb staff, would recommend if you are ever in the area

I had a full English. Didn't wait too long for food, but when I got it, both eggs were cold, beans were luke warm, and the bacon was boardy. Not impressed. Won't go there again. Service was pretty good tho.

My friend came up with an idea to come here. I thought I would give it a go. This place is quite small, so if you are keen on more space ,you should probably try some other place. The service was really good, employees are really nice. This place has got a toilet too despite a small size. When it comes to food, it was pretty standard quality and taste. The funny thing about this place is that ,when you will spend there some time , you smell of fry up , which my partner pointed out after I returned home.

Fantastic pasty I had, and a person who I was supporting enjoyed hers too . Would also like to say the staff were friendly too . Drawback.. I felt like I upset a member of staff , as I asked kindly if she could take my empty plate just so I can have some table space, as the table was small , her response seemed a bit cold , almost stressed . If I had to move it myself I would of done , so I'm sorry if I made you look like an idiot if I did .

Walked in to the smell of freshly baked pasties. Lady behind the counter was very helpful and told me what pasties she had. Needed to get some cold ones to bring back for friends as I live 5 hours away and was only in Exeter for one night, but there is instructions on reheating them on the packaging. Really nice shop.

Delicious pasties but I was put off recently when attempting to buy. The person serving was cleaning the sink and wearing gloves, and when I'd chosen the pasty I wanted they opened the bag with the same gloves on, that they'd just been just cleaning the sink with. This being, they put their whole hand inside the bag with this glove on. I there and then decided not to purchase. There could have been bleach on their glive, other cleaning products, or worse. Real pity as I really fancied a pasty and Oggy are the best.

The service and friendliness from alexa and gabby were top rate and the food was great would recommend to others

Really good food & super friendly staff!

This was our third visit in 3 months and we will be going back. True, its not a posh and expensive restaurant, so there is no wine list; but for a first class, all day breakfast, or something else from the menu, its difficult to beat. The attention from the staff is friendly and helpful and service is quick and easy. Happy to recommend this place if there is something you fancy on the menu.

An odd place, completely white Formica thru out so not comfortable to sit in, v noisy, nothing fancy about the menu but we ate v good sausage sandwiches and an excellent ham baguette, disappointing steak pasty (little filling and overcooked), v reasonable priced. Probably would not revisit.

Staff go above and beyond! Such a lovely environment and food delicious!! Highly recommended!! Loads of pasty choices. My favourite is the chicken and bacon pasty! Restaurant is very clean and the wait times are minimal. Well done to the staff!! Love this place! The best.

Particularly good breakfast - and lunch the day before - good food, friendly service and about half the price of my nearby hotel, sorry they didn't open in the evenings !

Was so happy to find out they serve gluten free pasties. Was just about as good as the real thing, just be sure to get it heated in the oven before eating! Super friendly staff as well.

Wonderful food piping hot and very very tasty. Becky was super informative about the gluten free food for me. Rare to find such friendly service- our ponytailed waitress was quick, really helpful , smiley and funny. We had the ‘small breakfast’ and tea - top quality and superb value for money. So good we bought frozen pasties to have on our journey back to Essex. Found out Becky is Cornish - so was my mother (Lostwithiel) but that has not influenced the review.

Every time I pass the place it looks busy tables are always full . So today I went in took a table staff were absolutely brilliant and polite ,quick to serve and noticed I went to a different table for sauce and promptly assisted me . The food I was im sorry to say undercooked bacon as if it was frightened by heat and ran away to the plate. The sausages seemed happily swimming in grease from the deep fat frier they were cooked in, toast was nice and so was the eggs but thats as far as i can go . Cappuccino was amazing , but the milkshake was room temperature. Over all friendly staff excellent service but the food was better of left in the fridge Sorry for the bad review but hopefully it will help 🙂

Great cafe and very popular, it's always great service and value

We have visited this place 3-4 days after our entry into the UK (3 weeks ago). We tasted some good pasties, average milk shake but faced the worst behaviour by the lady inside. Never expected such kind of rude and ‘discriminatory’ behaviour. We never did face such discrimination by any shopkeeper while in Sweden. May be the UK is different that way. We will never visit this place again.

As someone intolerent to gluten, the closest I can normally get to a pasty is a jacket potato. Not here! 🤩 Three flavours of gluten free pasty to choose from and the pastry is great! Not too oily, not too brittle, not too hard. Glad I had the bag round it but that's the same with any pasty, right? This was so worth the trip up from Fore Street. Thanks Ed and Team, I'll be back. Its was excellent . I did brave the pepper steak pasty. But was told its one to try . So there were a few left so if you are ever passing pop in between 12 and 15.00 .and try see if you have the bravery?

Went in with my youngest during our Christmas shopping trip. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. Food was decent, what you would expect from a café of this type. Abviously oggy oggy do some of the best pasties in the UK, so will be worth the stop just for that.

It's very busy lunchtime, the staff are so nice and friendly, maybe just a small cafe shop, big in service.

No flavors, no salt, just the ingredients. Not for people with taste for spices

Makes a good vegan pasty, had the Thai red curry one very tasty. That and a coffee for £6 roughly. Good range of vegan options which is nice as most places have just the one!

Amazing customer service here and reasonably priced breakfast

Popped in for breakfast. First time here and looking for a full English. Very pleased with our choice. Good value for money (half the price of the last place we visited and better) coffee was great and nice and hot (even after we’d finished our meal) service was quick and attentive and staff cleaning tables straight after visits. In fact staff were exceptional and no wonder this place was buzzing with people. Friendly staff, quick and efficient service. Clean and good value for money. Definitely recommend.

Great value breakfast served quickly and hot. But the best thing about this place is the staff. They are just so friendly and welcoming. Ate breakfast and bought some pasties for our journey home. Will return when back in Exeter.

Get yourself down to oggy oggy and get a pasty there’s so many different flavours and way better than greggs dare I say it. If you’re on a tight budget and a student you can pay £2 for a pasty of the day. Which can be any flavour that day, they chose, but if you’re not picky it’s great. Half the price of a standard pasty at £3.90 or £4.20 for extra large I think. Used to come here every day at college and the pasty’s are always nice and hot too. Cheers, Oscar :)

Well priced and tasty traditional pasties. Was happily welcomed when I took them up to Chesire for a little taste of Devon!

Underrated cafe in Exeter. A lot of locals go here and I can see why! The prices are low and the food is tasty. The iced coffee was large and only £2.35. I would definitely give this place a try

Heard about the buster from a friend in thailand. Took a cheap flight over to the exeter branch. Oggy 1 was nowhere to be seen probably man flu. Oggy 2 was awfully nice though gave off the vibe he was made in a tube. Similar to an oggyloompa. Pasty was nice but the buster is where it’s at. 3 hash browns all sodden in oil. Doc says my cholesterol is at fatal levels but thanks for the last meal it was mmm delish! Maybe i’ll be reborn as an oggy 3.

Visiting Exeter and hubby remembered this shop from our last visit. Sat in this time and staff were really friendly, cleaned our table and took our order. Our food arrived, was hot, presented well and was really tasty. Great place, great atmosphere and pleasant, friendly and helpful staff.

Purchased an ice cream looks nothing like the photos advertisement. This has to be the smallest Ice cream in the world. The cone was broken too with the flake attached at 15oc angle, trash experience what a waste of money 🤣

Friendly staff and great food but expensive

I also took my dog for the free beans. Even though Stephanie (my dog) is a teacup chihuahua, they gave her beans’n’sausages. I think you need to speak with Oggy 2 because they seem to be the dog lover. Both of the Oggy twins are lovely though. Oggy 1 seems to be sick a lot.

Stayed at Rougment Hotel, absolutely awful breakfast. Cold croisant and luke warm tea, £10.😝 found Ogg Oggy, staff lovely, excellent food and great value for money, very highly recommended, you have to go.

Was served by the Oggy twins themselves. Was a bit worried because Oggy 1 seemed like they had covid. I ordered the breakfast pasty but it’s really just pastry filled with about 8 boiled eggs. Not what I expected but lovely with tomato sauce. My dog gribble had a bowl of beans. They will give all dogs a free bowl of beans. If you’d dog is over medium size they’ll do beans n sausages because they need the extra protein. Had a gypsy tart for desert

This place is just great ! The whole team are so friendly and welcoming, even when really busy. Food is tasty and hot for both eat in and takeaway. Prices are reasonable and the location in the city centre ideal. Ive just had another fab takeaway breakfast in a bun and and as always in was so enjoyable. Thank you team Oggy Oggy :-)
