Best breakfast ever. I ordered small breakfast that comes with 2 slices toast and a mug of tea. Beautifully cooked, spotlessly clean cafe and great guy that runs it. I will be going back next week. Prices very, very reasonable.

I didn't expect to be having to make my own brew. The teabags are just not good enough. The time it saves you isn't worth it. On to the breakfast. Well imo if you can't fry an egg without burning it you shouldn't be making food for the general public. . The sausages tasted like they'd been cooking in the washing up bowl and left an awful taste in the mouth. The bacon was pretty good. Another let down were the mushrooms. Swimming in grease.

Food lovely. Decent prices. Staff pleasant and polite. Slow service. If you're not restricted by time I would certainly recommend.

Popular bike cafe in Holmfirth. A bit cheaper than Betties and the one adjacent but no outside space. Bought a small breakfast tuna sandwich on brown. Black coffee and a fizzy drink . Food and staff are as good and friendly as ever

Staff were very friendly and chirpy. The food was very tasty and filling. It's tucked a little out of the way of the tourist traffic, filled with locals/regulars known by name to staff. Which makes for a great atmosphere.

Whether you just want a bacon sandiwch or a full breakfast this is the place we go to when in Holmfirth. Service is always quick and friendly in this spotless cafe. Great way to start the day.

Always need to stop here when passing on a Sunday morning for bacon butties, great value, large teacakes and tasty bacon. We nearly always do takeaway rather than eat in as we are always on the way to somewhere.

hmm reasonably priced, bacon and spam butty was lovely, but I shocked when I got the takeaway mocha in what looked like a espresso cup.

Been going here for years, best breakfast around. Today I rang up to order breakfasts for collection and asked if they were still bringing it to the door because I would have my dog with me. The lady was waiting at the door for me, brought the card machine to the door. When I got home, I found this at the top of the bag. What a lovely gesture. Hudson the greyhound enjoyed it immensely, thank you.

Normally great here for cyclists, not today though. Went up to the open serving window to place my order with the lady standing there. From over her shoulder someone shouted no we're closed. It was 1.03pm and the published opening hours are until 2pm on Sunday. "We're closed " said the lady through the open window and bluntly turned me away. When your business closes and you start blaming covid, just cast your mind back to when you were rudely turning customers away who will never return and start using your competitors, of which there are many in Holmfirth.

This is the first time at this cafe, and it definitely won't be the last! We ordered a large breakfast which is fantastic value for money and came with coffee and toast, and when our breakfast came you could tell it was all fresh, and a generous amount, eggs cooked to perfection. Cheap, basic café fried food - bacon sandwiches, sausage sandwiches, etc. A no frills kind of place where bikers, walkers, cyclists and passing tradesmen fuel up. Fine if you want a cheap fried breakfast. If you want anything else there are plenty of other places nearby.

We decided to try this cafe after a poor experience at a nearby cafe, the previous day, hoping for a better breakfast. Our visit here far exceeded our expectations. We had a traditional English breakfast with tea or coffee at a great price. It was served quickly very soon after we had placed our order. Everything was hot and nothing on our plates was cold including the baked beans. The staff were sociable and friendly. The decor in this cafe was lovely. We loved our visit so much we came again the following day before we began our journey back home.

We visit this café almost every week after we have been walking. There are a number of cafes in Holmfirth. Why do we go there - quite simply the food is cooked individually and comes out quickly and it is cheap! The breakfast must be the best value for money in the area. Sometimes the staff can be a bit grumpy, but bear with it, the food is good.

I live in Holmfirth and this is my go-to place for a breakfast. Don't expect a nice quaint tearoom, it's basic but a good traditional cafe.

Great food serviced quickly, reasonably priced and good portion sizes. They allow you to swap items to customise your breakfast to what you like. Packed full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Have eaten here a few times now and have never been disappointed. Good selection of soft drinks available however with the large breakfast you get tea or coffee anyway. The breakfast is also serviced with 2 slices of toast each and lurpak butter. Definitely recommend this place for a good old English fry up.

If you want a breakfast this is the perfect place, biker friendly both human and motor powered. Not sure on dogs.

Being a local Bus Driver with a meal break in Holmfirth this establishment was ideal being situated across the road from the small Bus Station but I would have walked a long way to sample the excellent food served courteously in spotlessly clean surroundings. I ate at lunchtime and enjoyed one of the three great value specials which was well cooked and presented whilst my colleague sampled the all day breakfast that looked excellent and filling. There is plenty of variety on the menu along with a wide range of drinks, hot and cold. I would heartily recommend this cafe to all customers whatever their age and budget.
