Lovely dinner on the terrace at this charming restaurant. Service was great - friendly and attentive with excellent menu recommendations. The cod, crab and lamb tagine, along with the Shiraz we shared were delicious. Tapas style plates bursting with flavour. Will be back!

A very nice atmosphere, cosy wine and small dish concept, everything would have been perfect if the manager had not been so unkind and unconsiderate. I kindly asked if it would be okay to change tables as we wanted to seat in the main dining room and he had just sat a couple there who didn’t have any reservations, while we had one. He answered really rudely and without any apology that it was not possible because it was booked, in a very rude and snooty attitude. It’s okay he couldn’t move us, but there is a much nicer way to answer your clients, he made me feel very bad to the point we almost left. Then we ordered a bottle of wine but it was not mentioned on the wine list that the wine was actually a « natural » wine, which is not a small detail because the taste can be very special and not to everyone’s taste. We drank without complaining but at the end we wantwd to give a nice feedback. At the end we kindly told the staff that it would have been nice to specify on the menu when it is a natural wine because we would have liked to know before ordering, and when we ordered, the waitress didn’t tell us it was a natural wine, and again, a very snooty waiter told us off, telling us 70% of their wines were « natural » and that he didn’t care mentioning it. We were simply kindly advising him that it would be better for him and for clients to mention it on the menu and he was super rude and defensive in return. Really too bad there is such an unkind staff overall, because the food was good abd prices were correct.

I came for lunch with a group of 5 friends on a Friday. We were warmly greeted to our booked table in the dining area. Unfortunately it was quite a while before we had our order taken. However, the staff were very friendly. Once our food order was taken the food came pretty quickly. The portions were just right for a lunch set menu. However, it was let down by not being hot enough, which included the sauce with the steak and the pasta. None of us unfortunately liked the red wine that came with the set menu either as it was very sharp, but we did order an alternative that was delicious. I’d come back again to give this another shot because of recommendations from friends.

Possibly one of the worst meals we've ever had. We had such high expectations, given the reviews - intimate experience, with amazing menu . However, it was quite the opposite. Couldn't believe the quality of food, portion size - versus the price. Alongside, the service was appalling - sassy wait staff, no care or proper warmth to the service. We actually were waiting to leave the spot. The view also was disappointing, given the website visuals. Wouldn't go back, even for a free meal. Catfish in definition. Don’t waste your time!

Pleasant food, some unpleasant staff. Overpriced small plates. Total cost was £350 for 6 of us. Obvious don’t care about repeat custom, we definitely won’t go again.

I asked for the pasta to be without cavalo nero as I find it a little indigestible I was told it was already in the sauce I mentioned I was dairy allergic When it arrived it was cold and in one claggy lump with a vague creamy off flavour As I was with a lovely friend I didn’t like to complain but asked if it could be heated The claggy lump was half cold. I ate a little and left it as it had a strange taste My partner ordered halibut which was minuscule In fairness the wine was good But the staff were a little offhand We will not return

Lovely restaurant if you’re looking for something a little bit different. Dishes come out tapas style ie in any order. The food is adventurous and delicious. The wine list on its own is worth coming for. It had a lovely buzzy atmosphere. The service was fantastic. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Corkage.

Had been here before and loved it - a gorgeous place in a great location with good food. However, I booked a table for my sister's birthday this week for seven of us and was incredibly disappointed. The french lady that served us was absolutely lovely, however the management wouldn't allow us plates to eat a birthday cake that we'd bought ourselves without a £5 per head charge. With a large booking that resulted in a significant bill it put a dampener on the evening.

Was there with a party of eight for my daughter’s birthday this evening. Service and food was okay but at the end of the evening they tried to charge us an extra £5 per head (£40) to serve the birthday cake we’d had made. When we opted to deal with it ourselves, we were told it wasn’t allowed! Disappointing.

Came to bath with family for Christmas Dinner. Food was delicious. the service was good. The atmosphere was cosy. They let dogs in. Waiting staff friendly. Corkage is cosy and small but not cramped. Really good decor would recommend.

A fantastic find in Bath, which may be just about my favourite spot! Reasonable prices, great wines and a decent menu of small to not so small plates, spanning octopus to pigeon on our visit. Add in a nice, chatty atmosphere of people enjoying the food and wine on offer and some friendly service in a non fussy space and there are plenty of reasons to like this place.

My 15 year old son turned up to join us and was turned away into the night by the waiter. This guy is obviously not aware that two teenagers his age were stabbed to death earlier this year. There was plenty of room for him to sit at our table but he made my son feel so unwelcome he left. It’s such a shame as we were having a lovely evening but totally ruined by this one guy!

We'd misbooked a table for 2 when there were 3 of us. It was rammed in the restaurant (First day of the Christmas Market in Bath: VERY busy!), so no chance of changing at the last minute but the staff were helpful and we got a table in the covered courtyard. Relaxed prompt service, good food & nice concept (you order a range of dishes a bit like tapas, but they just arrive when they're ready). I can't imagine anyone would ever be disappointed coming here. But double check you've got your booking right!

The tables were placed very close together indeed and the briskness of the staff, though very welcome with a small plates service, gave the impression we were not being encouraged to linger over coffee and liqueurs but to eat up, drink up, pay up, and go. This was a great pity as the food and wine were excellent. I wish I could say the same for the waiter, who clearly had issues and came very close to spoiling our evening. We wish we knew why he didn't like us, but it was evident. We'll think twice before going again. He - and the unmistakeably designed rapid cusromer throughput - let down the good work of the kitchen staff and the other serving staff.

Pre theatre visit to this lovely wine bar and bottle shop, serving fine dinning style small plates. Good value for the quality of food and drinks. Just a bit chilly sat next to the entrance door with no heating on.

After arriving in Bath and making our way to the cottage we'd rented, we went out to explore the immediate neighborhood and walked by the place, stopping to determine whether it was a wine shop (it is) or a restaurant (which it also is). They weren't open that early for customers, but we did see enough to impress us that we made a reservation for a late lunch the next day (a Saturday) and eagerly awaited our return. Upon our arrival the next day, we were warmly greeted at the front bar and then handed over to a nice person who escorted us to our seats in the main dining area, past which there is another garden room that looked just lovely (which is why it was filled with people that day). The decor is stylish yet relaxed and, after being seated, we were given menus to look at and left to make our decisions. The menu is quite large and offers something for every appetite - veggie options, fish, meat, cheese boards, etc., but the first bit of business involved deciding on glasses of wine from their ample list of choices. I chose a glass of Viognier (250ml for about 13GBP) and my wife ordered a smaller glass of a New Zealand Riesling (175ml for 10GBP) and then, after much thought, we selected a number of items to taste - a plate of roasted padron peppers, a plate of kohlrabi slaw, an order of polenta "fries" and one order each of the halibut and a local trout with sweet potato and spaghetti squash. Based on how we would feel after our main meal, we held off on ordering dessert. Since the delivery is tapas-style, we weren't sure what would arrive first, but then the roasted peppers arrived and, for the next hour or so, we slowly savored each and every item after it arrived. The quality of ingredients was top-notch, the preparation perfect, the sauces deftly-prepared, etc., and we found ourselves sharing every item and very sad when it was all gone. Hoping to keep the mood going for a bit more, we ordered their home made ice creams for dessert and those, too, were far above the norm. Service was swift and courteous, and the bill for the entire meal (inc VAT and service) came in at less than 90 GBP, so all I can say is that if you're in the area and looking for a wine bar/bistro at which to enjoy a fine meal, this place should be high on your list. Great little spot for food & wine. We had not booked but they were very welcoming and found us a spot. We had a fine selection of dishes from the menu. The stand out dish for me has to be the houmous and burrata and my husband loved the parpadelle. A lovely glass of English sparkling and then to a smooth bottle of Talò Malvasia Nera. The service was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.

We went here whilst staying in Bath and it was lovely! Small plates are served here but I found them to be reasonably sized and so tasty!! Desserts weren't as good as the main dishes but I would certainly recommend this resturant. The Dhal dish and the pasta were loved by us! Service was okay by the young lad we had but seemed like he was a bit tired, but aren't we all at times! Will recommend to friends ans family visiting!

A cosy and friendly wine bar & restaurant. All the food is small plates, although the portions were fairly generous. A fairly small but very varied menu made it quite difficult to choose as there were so many delicious sounding options. All our choices were really good. Wines can be chosen either by the glass or by the bottle, which means you can try different wines with the different dishes. Corkage is something slightly different and well worth a visit.

The concept is great and everything that we tasted was delicious. You probably need at least three or four dishes each to constitute a proper meal and the cost does mount without you realising it. The atmosphere is good and the staff were generally friendly.

A great local restaurant offering a diverse menu of delicious small plates and excellent wines. The staff are very friendly and attentive - especially Yiota who served our table. Will definitely visit again.

Very much a place to be seen at, with prices to match. But for an evening out with friends, I would recommend a good kebab house on your way home, as the portion sizes are great if you are elderly, or super skinny, but for a rotund guy like me, at least four dishes of each would be needed to make a proper meal, but they’re definitely not cheap. Very tasty food, but portion sizes were way too small for anyone less than supermodel sized. If you enjoy your food like I do, eat before you go out, and enjoy the tasty morsels they provide, just don’t rely on them for sustenance, as you will be caught short. The hispi, and the fig tartlet were the favourites within our group, but probably more from surprise, than expectation.

Among the best dining experiences I've had in my life and by far the best we've had in Bath! Delicious AND original menu, superb service with a smile and all this in a wonderful setting. Our particular favourites: the duck, ox cheek and of course the unmissable miso hispi! It was the perfect place to celebrate our elopement. Thank you for a wonderful evening. I've already been telling everyone about it. We'll be back!

Such rude service. The long haired staff member (maybe manager?) was incredibly hostile before we'd even sat down. No idea why he works in hospitality. It's a shame as we're local and had wanted to try here for a long while, won't be back due to him. Visited on Tues 17 July.

We had the most incredible meal! The staff were really friendly and super helpful with an allergy which they were unaware of, they marked on the menu everything that could be eaten as it was, as well as things that could be adapted to suit. Really nice atmosphere too, was great to be able to sit outside whilst being kept warm and sheltered!

In 7 years of eating on my own this was the first time I have felt invisible. Second plate did not appear at all. Waiter apologised but no offer of complimentary dessert as recompense.
