Comptoir Mezze in Brent

Our Lamb tagging was delicious and beautifully prepared. The restaurant itself is intimate and atmospheric. Rachel our waitress was incredibly helpful and really added to the evening by being good company and making excellent recommendations, including expertly serving our drinks. Would definitely recommend for food, decor and staff.

I went here for the first time with two friends. The decor is very leafy and pleasant, and the lighting excellent. Very friendly service. I ordered chicken kebabs, which were really delicious, juicy and moist. My friends’ choices were also very good. The house wine was very reasonable, and tasty. Will definitely go again.

Went in for dinner (20:30ish) shown to table for two. Told to use the QR code on the table. Eventually managed to get this to work but only to find they were "not taking orders at this time"!!! How on earth could someone working (albeit a rather unwelcoming person) offer us a seat and even bring cutlery to the table and not know the place wasn't actually taking orders. Time wasters. If they want to just run it as a take-away then they should say so up front, not put on this pretense. Shame as this used to be a nice (and welcoming) place.

The place and food were superb! The atmosphere was very brilliant and refreshing! The crews Ayman are very dependable and very gentle to their customers! We enjoyed our stay in this restaurant and you should try too!

Vegetarian food isn't always a hit but this place has been amazing every single time I've eaten here. It is so delicious and has a great menu. Would recommend to anyone!

I have ordered from them a few times, been happy with it many times but I also had many bad experiences as chips not even cooked looked like they just been in oil and then sent away could actually see that it’s raw. And lately I’ve been paying extra for bread bread which was hard like stone if it’s not eaten straight away then it s good to bin. And couples of day ago I ve had some lamb kofte ( was really happy with it the 1 st time ) and now I’m very disappointed I ve been sent lambe kofte not even cooked from inside, it’s basically raw meat inside this is very dangerous pls check your food before you send it away especially if people are ordering from uber eats now we pay service fees on top of delivery so restaurant should make as well an effort !!

I secretly love this place and always seem to be unable to pass by whenever I go to the museums. Lebanese food is always tasty, but the combination of the cheer6 decor and helpful service makes it a quick win

So, what of the question of Le Comptoir serving "authentic Moroccan and Lebanese cuisine"? Well, given the way in which the tagines were presented, including the depth of flavour achieved in all three, and given how impressive the starters were, we'd say pretty darn authentic. It was certainly some of the best tagines we've had in London, and comparable to the ones we've had at Zayane in Notting Hill which is on the Michelin Guide. Surprisingly, this restaurant is a relatively unknown one within London's Halal restaurant scene; but one that deserves far more recognition for its uncompromising flavours. In fact, one of the starters, viz. the Chicken Pastilla, could just be in the running for our end of year awards, it was that good. I have eaten here a few times but was quite disappointed on this occasion. I ate the Beirut falafel burger with tabbouleh. The burger was bland and tasteless and the tabbouleh had far too much lemon juice in it, giving it an extremely unpleasant taste. Despite the ingredients listed on the menu, it was just parsley and chopped tomatoes. The meal wasn’t nice at all. I felt cheated when I had to pay and will not visit again.

Having eaten in this restaurant a couple of times and always being happy with both the food and service, we made a last minute decision to book the garden for my daughter's 18th birthday. Although the garden venue is beautiful and the owner very polite and welcoming, we found that he was not very forthcoming. Having discussed no details with us about the booking except the cost for the evening, and having agreed to give us the place from 6-1am for £750 (including set menu of £20pp + drinks + shisha), with no mention of any other details, we planned to celebrate a fun 18th. However, to our dismay (only after having arrived to the venue for the party), we found that the music could not be played above a certain limit so it was barely audible over the chatter of around 25 people once they had all arrived! I now understand that due to this restaurant being in a residential road, we had no choice but to strain our ears to hear the songs, let alone get up to dance to them. Despite there being enough space to dance, no one actually got up to dance because they could hardly hear the songs! As if this wasn't already a downer on the following 6 hours (yes only 6 even though we paid for 7), they had only 1 person serving the whole party of around 25 people! We had to keep reminding the poor waiter of even the water we were forced to wait on average 15 minutes for, every time! Surely the tables should not have been short of water if nothing else for 6 hours! We ourselves had to ask everyone for their drinks and remember who ordered what as the waiter could not be asked to do his job! Even though the manager popped in from time to time, asking when we wanted the food to be served, even he did not return with water whenever asked! It was a friday night and the restaurant may have been busy but surely we did not pay £750 for parched mouths due to the only form of interaction possible in a near to silent 18th birthday party! The owner quite conveniently forgot to mention that the music would have to be kept to a minimum. Surely this is the first detail that the owner should disclose knowing full well that the venue is being booked out for a bunch of 18 year olds! Fortunately, the majority of the food served was up to standard and quite tasty, except the tabbouleh salad which was basically a bed of lettuce sprinkled with parsley and a hint of chopped onion and tomatoes, with no dressing whatsoever! Please see the attached photo of the tabbouleh from which you cannot even see anything but lettuce. When I pointed this out to the waiter, instead of taking back all of the tabbouleh, he simply went and brought out a small bowl of tabbouleh without any lettuce just for me! Of course it would have been too much hassle to return all the platters to the kitchen to then serve proper tabbouleh so I did not want to bother the waiter further and just accepted the bowl of tabbouleh for myself, which looked more like tabbouleh but still tasted of nothing! I could not even say that it was lacking in taste because it had NO dressing at all! I then had to ask the waiter for salt and lemon to DIY my favourite salad, which also took him ages to come back with. You may not know any better if you are not Lebanese or eating Lebanese food for the first time, but it's even worse when it's your favourite salad! I was tempted to go into the kitchen and make it from scratch myself. Our poor guests were so put off and ended up eating no salad with their starters! No complaints about the mains thank goodness, but then the Moroccan mint tea also let us down in the end. It's supposed to be sweet but had no sugar in it at all! And even though we pointed this out to the waiter and asked for sugar, he never returned with any sugar! Last but not least, from around 12am, the manager presented me with a bill (the outstanding balance plus any extra orders) with a bottle of champagne added on 'in error'! I found it very unprofessional that the owner who we had booked the venue with was not even there to close the balance with us so I had to phone him (as the manager told us that he was far away in another one of his restaurants in Harrow but then was standing outside the restaurant just 10-15 minutes after) to raise the issues and ask for a discount on what was agreed due to the fact that he had not aforementioned the issue with the neighbours and the volume of the music, and the useless tabbouleh, mint tea and service! He refused to acknowledge that there was even a possibility that the tabbouleh was as I described (please see the attached photo) and instead complained that my daughter had the music on 'too loud' even though she had no no control over the volume which was controlled by the waiter from behind the drinks counter which was not accessible to anyone but him! It is true that when the birthday cake was brought out after 11pm and everyone sang 'happy birthday' and cheered, was the only time that anything was 'loud' but that could not have lasted more than 5-10 minutes whilst the rest of the evening was so quiet that no one dared get up to dance! Even if the neighbours complained about the noise around that moment, the actual music volume before and after was controlled solely by the waiter anyway, despite our constant requests to turn the volume up even slightly. Had the owner been honest about the issue with the neighbours and music volume at the time of the booking then we would have searched for an alternative venue and not have immediately paid the deposit. Moreover, despite telling us that we would have the place until 1am, he also failed to tell us that this actually meant the music had to be cut off from 12am but we could hang around until 1am for an hour gathering our belongings whilst being ushered out by the staff who already began clearing up and had their coats on ready to go home! Feeling sorry for the staff, and as the owner then promised a complimentary meal for my family (he did not fail to specify 'immediate' family 'myself, husband and children'), I held up my end of the agreement and paid the remaining balance. To our disappointment, he was again not so honest with his promise when we came back about a week later for our 'complimentary meal'. After having put the whole party behind us, we decided to give them a chance to win us over again as regular customers, as before the party we never had a single complaint about the food or the service. I called the owner to remind him of his promise and to let him know we were coming over for dinner. He failed to mention that the kitchen was technically empty and that half the menu was unavailable, which we only found out after we placed our order with the waiter (who also did not let us know at the time of ordering, but came back to tell us whilst we were waiting for our meal). Nonetheless we found alternatives and ordered 1 drink each, some starters to share, 1 main each, and 1 dessert each. Whilst tucking into our starters, the owner then came to tell us that there was a £20pp cap on the bill! Not only did he have the nerve to completely disregard the fact that he had promised us a meal 'on the house' for 4 'immediate family' when only 3 of us came for dinner, but he also decided to tell us after we had ordered and tucked into our starters! We then adjusted our order to the limit set by the person who promised us a complimetary meal 'on the house' for not holding up his end of the deal! We had such high hopes with this restaurant, recommending it to everyone we knew, until we were basically 'robbed' not only of money but of all faith in the place. Had it not been the first time I had booked a venue for a birthday party, I would have made sure to ask about the small print before booking and paying a deposit for this place. If you ever consider booking the garden as a venue (which you may do after just seeing it), make sure to have a written agreement with the owner with regards to music volume and cut off time, the exact time to leave the venue, and the quality of food and service. Most importantly, do not be pressured into paying the balance if you feel that the quality of food and service was lacking! - As I have just come to find out a bit too late. Being a person who does not like to complain, it was not easy to even ask for the owner to reduce the bill following the issues we came across let alone continuously complain to the 1 waiter who was serving the whole party for 6 hours. But as an honest, paying customer, either demand value for money on the spot or be sure to waste it to dishonest establishments such as 'Le Comptoir'.

We visited the new Le Comptoir Lounge in Harrow and had the best time. Service from all staff the minute we arrived to when we left was perfect.... we didn’t want to leave. Shisha flavours are great with lots to choose where from. Food is delicious and reminds me of travels in Morocco, the Chicken Pastilla is so yummy! 100% will be back and will recommend to others. Great for groups, couples and families alike Great value for money!! Thank you all!

What a pleasant surprise to find a restaurant that filled our expectation we are new to the area, and this restaurant has made us happy to know there is a place to take our visiting friend and family for good food and vibrant atmosphere. Even more surprised when they invited us for a mint tea in their Moroccan garden. Just fab.

I have been visiting this restaurant for several years now but my visits this year have proved disappointing. Whilst the food is ok, they often have several things missing from the menu. Of late also the restaurant appears dirty. Menus are food stained, dirty fez hats for the bill and change and an awful smell of drains inside the restaurant! Doesn’t give one confidence to eat there!

We went to this restaurant on the basis of a Google search after I had the notion of eating Lamb tagine and I have to say that we stuck gold.

Teníamos el menú para compartir conjunto; una mezcla de entrantes que incluye pan plano, falafel, halloumi, babaganoush, hummus y ensalada, seguido de kebabs mixtos y tagine de cordero. El cordero era la estrella, bellamente tierno y con sabor. El falafel estaba un poco seco para mí, pero en general la comida era excelente. Tuvimos una botella de vino blanco libanés bastante indiferente con la comida, pero la comida estaba bien de precio y sabrosa.

Great food. Shared a platter between two which had a lot of variety and more than enough to fill us both up. Very tasty too!

I love Lebanese food at reasonable prices. Fast and efficient. I had the chicken special at one visit and the lamb tagine on another.

Whether a date night or an informal lunch I love coming here. The food is great and the atmosphere is relaxed. Recommended.

My mum and I visited Le Comptoir last friday (June 2019), and it was as good as always. We got 3 cold mezze and 3 warm mezze and it was very good. (My favourites:The grilled halloumi, the hummus with lamb, and the baba ganoush) For drinks, I recommend the apple, cucumber and lime juice, I have never tried a place that makes cucumber taste that good. There is a lot of vegan, and vegetarian options - so don't hesitate to go if you don't eat meat.

I went there mid-week to celebrate my birthday with my son and we were treated very well and the food was really good. It's a small gem in NW10 for those who like Mediterranean food. The wine from Lebanon was also lovely.

My partner and I had dinner there this evening, the food was absolutely brilliant (we had lamb chops and the chicken and halloumi burger), it was lovely and quiet (early around 6.30) and the staff were really nice and friendly. Will definitely go again!

Ayer llevé a mis hijas a almorzar, mi bebé está en un cochecito y el hombre movió la mesa para hacer espacio para el cochecito. Muy cómoda zona de estar, personal muy amable. La comida tardó un poco más de lo esperado, pero un miembro del personal era muy apolético, lo que no era necesario pero agradable. La comida bien valió la pena la espera, ya que era absolutamente deliciosa, que fue bien con un delicioso cóctel. Muy buen precio también. Sin duda volveremos.

Teníamos un menú fijo y la comida era absolutamente deliciosa y el servicio atento, se sentía como estar de vacaciones

I have eaten here twice in the last few months. First of all with my friend and then with my partner. Both times I had the same experience : really nice food, friendly service and I recommended it to other friends I know in the area. Last time I went we both had starters, mains , one of us had a dessert and one had a glass of wine and it came to about £42. I would recommend it.

I loved the food ! Don't even get me started on the service. It was perfect. My boyfriend and I were taken care of from the beginning to the end. Really tasty dishes and the shisha flavour was amazing! Definitely recommend it !

Be aware Manager moves your booking with very little notice

Lovely Little spot for the date nights! Went there with my partner and the staff were really friendly and willing to go the extra mile to satisfy the customers. Enjoyed the sharing set menu for two and it was so cheap for such delicious dishes. Lamb tagine was to die for and the best falafel I have ever tried in my life. Tried the amazing pinch punch cocktail reminded me of my travels back in the tropics. Only slight concern was glitch in the booking which we should have done it in advance. Great place, amazing food and friendly staff. A night to remember. Highly recommended!

We were looking for somewhere for supper and came across the lovely restaurant. Although we didn't sample a huge amount of the menu, what we had was fresh and satisfying. Thank you

Encontramos este pequeño lugar para explorar la zona. La lista de vinos era genial y elegimos un libanés de rosas secas y delicioso. Complementa la comida muy bien. Compartimos una gran relación calidad-precio menú de mezze tagine de pollo y seguido por carnes a la brasa. Destacan el plato fue el pollo tagine. No es el típico cocido gruesas con fruta seca. En vez de un plato ligero y sabroso y sazonado con limón y aceitunas. La carne se desprendía del hueso, era tan tierno. Todos los sabrosos platos y el servicio excelente. También tienen una pequeña terraza, así que pudimos sentarnos afuera.

The small valentines set menu wasn’t made clear at the time of booking but fortunately we liked the sound of the dishes on offer. Asked for tap water and needed to remind staff members on a couple of occasions that we were still waiting for it. But all in all another very good experience here, food is great in a cosy and well decorated restaurant making the most of the available space.

We tried this restaurant because it was the closest one to our rental property. We lucked out. We got the last table (just about managed to squeeze around it) and ordered about 15 items off the mezze menu for 5 of us. It was all delicious, and given how busy the restaurant was, the service was admirably prompt and efficient. Reasonable too. We only had 3 days in London, so it was a one-off visit, but I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who's in Kensal Rise. Great place.

Came here with some family on Sunday lunch. Food was delicious - unfortunately the juice machine had broken so we had to stick to water.

Vine aquí la última noche con dos amigos para el cumpleaños de mi marido. El restaurante era muy tranquila, nunca he visto tan tranquilo. Habíamos reservado para 7 personas. 30 la ventana. Desde el principio hasta el final es simplemente precioso. La camarera, que he conocido antes, es divino, atento y muy amable con una sonrisa. Esto es tan importante ahora, lo cual es mucho mejor para una noche de bienvenida. Yo creo que muchos restaurantes propios decepción con personal que no tienen interés en los clientes y sirven comida con cara amarga. La comida era excelente, encantadora y fresca. Nuestros amigos nunca han sido, pero quedamos muy impresionados. La selección vegetariana es una de las mejores que me he encontrado. Los consumidores de carne estaban bien atendidos. Hay algo muy especial en este restaurante y que sería casi imposible encontrar un pequeño restaurante familiar en el que sirven una comida excelente. Sin embargo, no creo que el personal de ayuda para hacer un lugar siempre.

C'est un très bon endroit pour passer un très bon moment avec de très bons plats et du bon vin ! L'atmosphère est très agréable. Nous avons dîné de plein de mezzés différents (d'ailleurs notre dîner fut totalement végétarien) et tous les 5 nous fûmes extrêmement satisfaits. Seuls les falafels étaient un peu trop cuits. Mention spéciale au makali et au haloumi grillé qui étaient vraiment délicieux. Le haloumi n'était pas caoutchouteux, contrairement à beaucoup de restaurants où il est proposé. Le service était correct.

Cosy little restaurant near Kensal Rise station. Varied menu, very reasonably priced. The lamb shish was perfect-tender and delicious. The Marrakesh cocktail was wonderful. Can't wait to return!

Somos gente a la zona y Comptoir Mezze es uno de nuestros lugares favoritos para comer. Es un pequeño e íntimo restaurante con un ambiente cálido y excelente servicio. Mis platos favoritos son el pollo y cordero tanjine, pastilla me encantan sus jugos frescos también! Lo recomiendo altamente.

Wonderful food and desserts. Really worth a visit! We enjoyed great and tasty Marroccan food and wines.

It's ok... the makali was really really greasy, although the shish tawouk was good.

La zona no es nada turística. La camarera, española, es muy atenta al igual que el chico. Abundantes los tajines, menos cuando tratamos de carne (hace años, las porciones eran más grandes), con cuerpo la cerveza marroquí...el sitio es un buen lugar para comer (perfecto en la puerta cuando luce el sol). Tal vez no merezca la pena si has de tomar el bus o el tren. Si vives por la zona, es recomendable. Lo mejor, pienso, que son los camareros.

Excellent mid east restaurant with very good vegetarian dishes. Service a little slow and absent minded but nothing to mar an excellent lunch.

A gem which is worth a short trip from the center. Delisious freshly prepared food, bit (even too big) portions, friendly service. Highly recommended!

We were taken here by our relative who lives locally. We dined early in the evening as we were trying to beat jet lag having arrived early that day after a flight from Australia. Very tasty Moroccan flavours and large servings. Reasonable prices. Ambience is a little loud and the tables are a little difficult to get in and out of but overall a lovely meal.

Food was awesome. (loved the veg variety with the sea bass) came in good time. desert was great too! thanks!

First of all if it's got the right atmosphere: cosy benches with cushions, candle light, flowers on every table - free olives as soon as you're in the door. Secondly they had great Lebanese and Moroccan beer. Thirdly - the food is absolutely delicious. The set menu is a definite recommendation - a choice of their best starters then a main - the tagine is gorgeous, very tender and tasty, the grilled meats are all a taste sensation with sides of warm fresh bread. Then dessert includes some great homemade fresh baklava. All for an extremely reasonable price. Finally and what really tops this place off is the effort made by staff, some of the best customer service I've experienced for a while. We will definitely be going back!

Food arrived nearly 2 hours after ordering, after multiple delays and zero communication from the restaurant. Food was fine but not worth the wait. I could have walked there and back myself and saved an hour if I had known how poor the service would be.

Lively restaurant. Excellent cuisine. authentic music and food. The only thing is the bill didn't come with Turkish delight. The mint tea was delicious, as was my vegetarian meal. My friend is a vegan and was well catered for too. Do try this little gem...

Lovely fresh food, lots of flavour

So glad to have Comptoir in my neighbourhood! Great for informal little groups of friends sharing tasty mezze. Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere. My only gripe is the decor which was great when it first opened - cool Moroccan travel posters with a bistro feel, now replaced by a really nasty, brown textured wall. Don't be put off - bad taste in interior design is not reflected in the food!

Comptoir Mezze is a real gem in Kensal Rise. Eat here if you haven't visited here. Lovely staff. Delicious food. Great, warm and friendly atmosphere. I am moving to Scotland and will miss my favourite place a lot.

I really enjoy the food here, it's a great local restaurant with nice atmosphere and very good food. On this particular visit, I found that they were not very attentive to our table. We had a party of 5 people and we had to constantly try to grab their attention for things like bringing water to the table. It was a Friday evening and they were obviously very busy. I also noticed a lot of delivery drivers coming in and out of the restaurant. I'm glad to see the business doing well, but it was not nice to feel like we were less important than the many drivers coming in and out. It made me feel like it would have been a better experience to order their food from home, which is a shame because the restaurant has such a nice atmosphere. This was my second time eating at this restaurant, and last time was a great experience, so hopefully this is just a one-time thing. I would still try eating there again, but I would not expect it to be a nice local restaurant experience on a Friday night.

We visited Comptoir following the excellent reviews on tripadvisor and on the whole, we had an enjoyable meal. Portions are generous, prices are very reasonable and service is efficient and pleasant. They lost a star because I was taken aback when charged £5.90 for two tiny cups of Turkish coffee. Yes, they do make it from scratch (like everything else) but the price tag does seem on the high side for two mouthfuls of coffee each.

I was kindly invited to this restaurant for a christmas dinner by some friends. The restaurant is located very conveniently to buses and trains and if you are driving there is ample parking in the surrounding roads.To say the wall of noise that hit me when I entered was dizzying would be an understatement. The restaurant was packed which I suppose to any discerning restaurant goer would be a good thing. For me however the heat generated by the mass of people, all increasing the levels of their voices to be heard was quite dreadful.I managed to get a seat along the right hand wall without any chance of getting out without disturbing six other people and pretty much just sat there. Conversation was impossible.The waiters were clearly under pressure and it appeared not only were they trying to serve the diners in the restaurant but also service an army of takeaway delivery drivers who were turning up constantly, it seemed to me they were prioritising them.The mezze started to arrive painfully slowly and the houmous was tasty but the bread was cold and the small salads were mushy and wet. I decided to leave, so asked those alongside if they would move so I could get out, this they kindly did and I scarpered. I'd managed 45 minutes. If the social environment described above is your thing then I wholly recommend you go here on a busy night. Hot and rammed may be some peoples idea of a great night out. Not mine.

They cancelled my order without calling me to inform me of the cancellation and why this was cancelled. NEVER ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN.

I have been a few times in the afternoon for snacks. This time we had a meal. I am a vegetarian, and really appreciate having a good meal (often people think veggies are not interested in food!) My burger was falafel and halloumi, and I really enjoyed it. It came with plentiful green salad and jolly nice chips. The falafel are very good if you come in the afternoon for something light. Service is good too, and the atmosphere pleasant.

The food at Comptoir is just great. Delicious and good quality food for a reasonable price. If you are in for Lebanese food you should definitely try this one. I believe there is a chain of these restaurant in and around London. Enjoy!

On time but a the hot dishes were a bit cold and they did not provide enough pitta for the 3 x mezze dishes.

We went here before going to the lexi cinema and had the sharing menu. It was amazing! In the starters the halloumi was incredible (could live on this... Slightly crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, a bit salty... Heaven! As was the falafel, then the tagine for main was super tasty! Excellent service and the bill for two including a bottle of red was about £55... Will definitely be back!

Delivery was made well over 1h after ordering. Was pretty cold. Vegetable broth was missing. What was delivered was good.

Over priced for such a little amount. Also 1/4 of my order was missing, and they were late. Not impressed.

The food took an hour. it was very cold. They make the food sound fancy when it arrived it was basically tomatoes and onions in one box and cucumber and carrots in another box some sauce in another box and salad in another box. The other box had mixed meat and rice. Because the containers are made of cardboard box the sauce disintegrated the box. The meat was nice . Not sure what the extra £1..95was for as salad is gluten free anyway. Will not be ordering again.

Since the gentrification of Kensal Rise, there have been several new eateries opened up in the Queen's Park area. We had often seen the name of this restaurant but never got around to eating there until the evening before we set off on our holidays. Our hairdresser, Syndi from Snippets highly recommended that we eat at Comptoir Mezze as it was only down the road from our house and she considers it her regular "caff."We arrived at 7 pm and were given the friendliest greeting ever and made to feel very welcome. The decor is a mix of Lebanese and Moroccan with closely packed tables that make the place small and cosy. The menu was extensive and the danger is that you can go overboard and over order (as we did). What we did choose was delicious but large in proportions. I stuck to what i knew best and had hummus, tsatsaki and an aubergine dip that were all delicious. I especially liked the bread that was unlike normal pitta bread. I followed up with crispy chicken wings that the waitress promised to make very crispy by extra grilling. And they really were finger lickin' good. Next time I go I shall have a large portion. My husband ordered meat kebabs with salad and rice but due to a misunderstanding, he got a plate of chips. His meal was Huge..... absolutely huge and sadly he couldn't finish all of it. He pronounced the chips to be perfect. The service was sweet and warm and nothing is too much trouble.By the time, it had got to dessert time, the place was heaving with the 'beautiful people' who eat there regularly. The bill was a very modest £35.00 for the two. In this day and age, that is a bargain considering the gigantic sizes of the portions given.

The vegetarian mezze only had 1 falafel and 1 piece of hallumi which was disappointing.

We love Comptoir Mezze. It’s deserving of its popularity in the area - and of its substantial group of local regulars. The food is always tasty and comes quickly. Service is unfussy and helpful, atmosphere laid back. It’s relatively small, and at busy times it might be difficult to get a table without prior booking, but there is also seating outside. There’s a good range of mezzes on offer, including an impressive number of dishes for veggies. Not fine dining but good, honest, tasty food in pleasant surroundings. Long may it prosper.

The lamb and halloumi burger was honestly one of the nicest burgers I've ever had. Just popped in for lunch as I've just moved nearby. Lovely service, really good prices, great looking menu and what I had was utterly delicious. I will be back again and again I'm sure.

We stumbled across this local place one evening. We had dinner with our children and we all loved it. The food was incredibly tasty and the staff made us feel very welcome. We sat outside to enjoy the summer evening, which was great. The atmosphere inside was friendly and buzzy.

I have been here a couple of times before, always during the day and the service was great, the food also great.Today I went for an evening meal and as there were only 2 other people sat down, we assumed it would be quick and delicious (as usual). We sat down and ordered a chicken shish and a salad with a couple of drinks. The drinks took a while to come, but I just assumed we would get the meal shortly after the drinks. I was wrong. We were waiting almost half an hour for our meals before I asked where they were and the rude waiter said it would be 15 minutes, without apology for the delay. You should not have to wait 45 minutes for a chicken shish and a salad. I asked to cancel and he just said 'ok' and off he went. So, there was no apology and no forewarning for a long wait, just rudeness.I guess the food would have been up to the usual standard, but I can't tell. It's a shame as the food is good, but I absolutely refuse to go back, not when there are so many other good options nearby. I'll give it 2/5 out of respect for the good food I've had before, but I won't go there again

Always amazing food from here and have never been disappointed with the quality. The order was ten mins late so I've knocked a star off but the food was still piping hot when delivered plus the driver was very apologetic. This won't put me off returning to them.

It took them over an hour and when they finally came Food quality and quantity was very poor. We ordered a juice that was ever delivered. We will never order from them again.

Live locally to this place but have only tried it recently. Was made aware of it from the lovely smell of food coming from it whenever I walked by. Busy, which is a good sign but they managed to squeezed us in. Food was great and reasonably priced. Had a mixture of starters, bottle of wine and shared a mixed grill between us (2 adults & a 17yr old), the bill was £67. Will be back.

First the food was late, over 90mins to be delivered, when the food finally arrived it was cold, the tagine was tasteless. I honestly felt this order was a waste of money and if they served this to me in the restaurant I would refuse to pay. Dont waste your time or money on this place!

My order had an item missing which was extremely disappointing. I will not be ordering the takeaway option again

Comptoir Mezze isr ein schönes und gemütliches Restaurant nördlich von Notting Hill gelegen - authentisch und detailsicher eingerichtet mit schöner Terrasse, bestens geeignet für laue Sommerabende. Der gemischte Vorspeisenteller bestehend aus Tabouleh, Hummus, Zalouk, Salat, Falafel, Feta und Harcha, dazu Harissa und Raib. Alles sehr frisch zubereitet, der Salat knackig und schmackhaft, die Dips herzhaft und lecker, das Brot kross gegrillt. Dazu bestellte ich einen sommerlichen Himbeer-Fruchtsaft mit Ingwer. Der Service ist schnell, sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Preise sind für Londoner Verhältnisse absolut ok und günstig.

Decided to pick this place based on delivery time with deliveroo (30 min). When the food arrived it totally exceeded my expectations the food arrived early and was all very delicious with good sized portions. I had the tagine which was very tasty the dishes came with lots of salad and we all really enjoyed the meal ! Would definitely return without hesitation.

Traditional Moroccan cuisine with most main courses under £10 and an extensive choice of mezze. Sit comfortably inside or if the weather is nice out on the decking. Very friendly service and highly recommended.
