Extremely disappointing!!!! For a Lebanese restaurant you would expect some flavour in the wrap! There was no tahini, hoummous or any Lebanese dips within the wrap. It was a pre made wrap displayed in the unit that warmed up thrown on a plate with no sides add one pickled chilli and served! Awful service and disgraceful food!!! I do not recommend anyone who is looking for tasty Lebanese food to come here!

My wife and I thought we would try this place as we usually go to Rosa’s for some authentic Thai food. It was disappointing as the food was quite bland and we felt it was quite expensive. £28.60 for two wraps and a Tejine with a drink, I wouldn’t mind if the food tasted good but I don’t think it did and certainly not for that price. Next time I’ll just go to Rosas and have my Thai. If you are Moroccan or Lebanese then please don’t go there as you’ll be even more disappointed. Very good service hence 3 stars.

This was the first time that I had been to this shopping mall and I was taken here as a belated birthday present. I would happily return to this restaurant. All the food was served fresh and the attentive staff ensured that the luncheon was an enjoyable experience. - nothing was too much trouble. Tables were spaced well apart ensuring that conversation was easily effected. We shared several dishes between us, which was an excellent idea as this cuisine was new to me. If I return to Stratford, I would happily return to this restaurant.

Doesn't have the same ambience as the CL restaurants (sitting amidst teapots and coloured baskets) but the food here is good. Great service and nice to see them preparing the food. A strainer for the mint and Rose tea isn't available either but it's still one of the best eateries at Westfield, with small or large plates, halal and veggie choices.

Comptoir Libanais is a franchise which has lots of branches in UK, its everywhere from streets to airports. Kudos to their marketing team, the appearance is always attractive and presents Lebanon beautifully, unfortunately their food is usually average, the Westfield Stratford branch though is worst of the lot. I have visited the place twice and will base my review on most recent visit. The Westfield branch of Comptoir is pay at counter and self service style, in synchrony with Westfield food court. The staff seems tired and plain but they can be given benefit of doubt because its a busy mall and food court. What can't be forgiven is what they serve to customers. We ordered their Mezze platter for 2 with Mixed grill. Both were epic fail. Hommos was pasty and bland, falafels were hard and seemed reheated rather than fresh, Cheese samboussek was only above average thing in the Mezze. The grill was equally disappointing with under-seasoned and dry meat. Lamb kofta was dry and over burned while Chicken taouk was like eating stones. Growing up in middle east and being a big craver of Labanese food, I cannot recommed Comptoir Libanais to anyone who knows the cuisine or even to introduce a lad to Labanese food. Labanese pictures and flashy colors might reflect the management and owners love for their roots, unfortunately love for Labanese food it doesn't. Head to Edgeware road instead and you might find a street full of Labanese food and its beautiful aromatic taste.

I think it was 23rd August or 30 August 2018, the lunchtime takeaway falafel wrap was dismal. Dry, no crunchy or juicy salad, no discernible humous, all ingredients I would expect. Instead something resembling a sausage roll full of barely passable falafel. Looked like it had been sitting in the display rather than freshly made, so the wrap itself was getting tired. The only reason I did not take it back was lack of time. Visit 'Olive and Lemon' on Stratford Broadway if you want to know what a falafel and humous wrap should be like.

Unlike some other Comptoir Libanais we have visited, this one is a self-service counter in the food court, not a sit-down restaurant by itself. Sadly the tabouleh salad on my mezze platter was not fresh and the chicken kebabs on the mixed grilled plate tasted a bit off. This was an early lunch, which gave me the impression that the food were left-overs from the night before. What's even more depressing was the zombie-like service staff who took my order. I almost wanted to check if she had a pulse.

Looks very colourful from the outside, but one thing which puts you off is the usage of what looks like a microwave to heat the wraps. Had a chicken wrap last time and the chicken was a little tough, but the trimmings hid this. Had the mint lemonade which is fresh and price was reasonable too.

No problems with service but the food just doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be. I had a cold mezze platter. It was OK but the bread was hard and there was only one falafel, which seemed meagre. I'm sure I remember there used to be fatayer - pastry filled with spinach and feta - in this platter. There are now lots of places that do this sort of food better, offering more imaginative takes on a mezze dish.

I feel this particular comptoir libanais doesn't do the others justice. The others aren't crazy amazing but for a chain restaurant they are decent. Hummus bland as is the [dry] falafel , Shish Toak seems under seasoned and lacks taste. It's a shame since this is their Westfield branch and most people who've not eaten at the others will just feel it's not good. I know they do better than this. Can't really fault the service, you just go up and order and they give it to you on a tray then you can just sit down in Westfield's food court sit-down area.

I have walked by this joint a few times and eventually tried it today, to my dismay. The positive side is you can filter vegan options on their online menu, which is helpful, so I than and praise them for this. This will now mean that other vegans will visit as if they know some place has a vegan option they will visit it, again and again. Vegans are always happy when then can have the choice of one thing, rather than go to a local, independent place who sell only vegan as they are 3p dearer. Anyhow, I digress, I had the falafel wrap which was drier than a day out in the Gobi desert. For £6 I did expect more than a piece if sandpaper wrapped round some grit (one we were falafel). If you wanted hummus you would need to pay and extra £5 which it came with more sandpaper. For me a falafel wrap is a delicious, moist flavoursome wrap that both tantalises and nutritiously stimulates you. This did neither, bland, boring and devoid of all love in the making. Pretty done, cut and then nuked in the microwave. They did add a pickled chili on the side, which was the best bit if the dish. So I leave it up to you, you want a falafel then get a place that does one properly. Vegans, you will love it as it is marked vegan so you will go crazy for it.

I've recently acquired a taste for Lebanese food so I thought I'd give comptoir a try, I ordered the chicken wrap without the bread and falafel. The chicken was recooked in an oven, which makes me sad. On the menu it states it is grilled, instead it is recooked for a minute or less and the falafels were warmed in an oven too. I'm very fussy when it comes to chicken and I could instantly taste that the chicken wasn't fresh (obviously after being cooked twice). The falafels were very large and I had trouble finishing it, I have had better falafels where the inside was soft. This falafel was slightly more dense. Don't get me wrong, I ate all of my food because I was hungry, I did like it but I didn't enjoy it because of the chicken not being freshly grilled. The falafel being reheated was not an issue for me. The workers are very polite and when I asked for extra pickles they gave me some for no charge which was nice.

I was inclined to give one star only, but as I had been before and those visits weren't quite as bad, I settled for two. Here goes:Avoid the tabbouleh - the most tasteless I ever had in any restaurant. Lemon juice supposed to be one of the main ingredients, couldn't taste any.Apart from three balls of falafel, the Falafel salad contained mainly large chunks of cheap salad and all of two small olives. It was squeezed into a smallish bowl - difficult to eat. Menu says it comes with pita bread, but it didn't. I went back to the counter, the girl insisted it was inside (?) the salad, it wasn't, but I didn't go back as I had neither the time nor inclination to argue with them. Poor customer service. Husband's halloumi wrap was ok, but overall ungenerous portions and rather expensive for the food on offer (one pound for a small pitta bread!). Only plus is that there is hardly a queue compared to the other food outlets around. I wonder why?

As this is an order and pay at counter type of food outlet, it seems to have a smaller menu choice than the restuarants that we have been to but they still have a great range available.Try the sharer mixed meze for a filling and healthy lunch.. I ordered a chicken tauk wrap the flavour was very nice but it was dry as bones! Spoilt it. I had to get up and ask for sauce she gave me this garlic mayonnaise which was really nice but didn't make it moist enough. My friend ordered chicken and olive tagine didn't taste very authentic. They put too much of a certain spice. I remember the tagines I had on Morocco they were the best.

I bought a meal here en route to rugby at the Olympic Stadium. The restaurant is part of a mall food court, sop you get your food on a tray and go and find a seat. The food was really well presented and freshly cooked, and portions were good too. The place was very busy, but the food was till served pretty quickly. Try the mezzo platter - really good - followed by Hadath for dessert - simply delicious.

4 of us visited and all enjoyed our food. I had a sirine salad that had chicken, feta, walnuts, pomegranate seeds and a lovely fresh dressing. Other dishes included a very nice haloumi salad, a lamb kofta and a lamb kofta tagine. The drinks selection is a little limited and we has a pomegranate based juice and a lemon and lime drink. A good place for a quick and tasty meal, but given the location not a place for a romantic or long meal.

Chose to have a salad at Comptoir since it was so hot outside. Did not know that it would take about 10 minutes for them to cook the halumi cheese. I wish they would have told me, as my husband got PHO and was sitting waiting for me. The salad was just okay as well. Looked better than it tasted. Would not go back. Too many options at Stratford I would try first.

Visited Stratford shopping centre and as you do we ate something and went to Comptoir again, it was an extremely busy weekend given the athletics games so long queues and lots of people. Luckily it didn't take very long to place our order and in less than 10 minutes we had all our food ready. Finding where to sit was a different story but food was hot, good value for money and good portion sizes, will go to them directly next time I visit Stratford, no doubt about it.

We visited the restaurant at lunch time and it didn't appear to be particularly busy. We ordered the Chicken Taouk plate which took 25 minutes to arrive, something that was suppose to turn into a quick lunch took up a lot of our time. They said the chicken was being made fresh but surely they should be more proactive/efficient at lunchtime in order to turn around their orders everyone seemed to be annoyed with the length of time they were waiting for their orders. The chicken Taouk plate with rice was nice when it arrived but it just took too long.I ordered the chicken Taouk wrap not sure why I ordered this again as I remembered from last time the wrap was hard. This time there was hardly any chicken, just lettuce and bread so unfortunately overall disappointing service and food.

Located in Westfield Shopping City is a good place for a quick snack. It is a much healthier alternative than pizza or burger and you dont have to wait for your food like in restaurants. Location - 3/5Great location for a snack after shopping, but not so much on any other occasion.Tables are situated in the passway, so crowds of people walks around while you eat. That can be intimidating.Food - 4/5Food is well presented and tastes good. Lots of vegetables and meat - just what I love. A bit too sweet for me as I prefer more spicy food, but this is my personal preference. My son felt in love with their mango cheesecake. You must try it!Service - 4/5Friendly staff, food waiting time around 5 min.The cleanliness of tables questionable, but bear in mind this is more fast food place than a restaurant.Value for money- 4/5You can eat a decent meal for a decent price

Comptoir Libanais is located in the Westfield food court. I went here for a quick snack. The restaurant has a good selection of small mezze dishes. I ordered the lamb kibbeh which consisted of three lamb and wheat parcels with pine nuts and onion. This was served with mint yoghurt. The food was ready quite quickly after ordering, and the dish tasted nice.

I chose Aubergine Mousaka & it was fantastic. If I had a Lebanese Grandma I'm sure her cooking would taste like this! Complex blend of flavours and lots of vegetarian options. Highly recommended & the falafels were the best I have ever tasted. I had take away & it was still hot when I got to my hotel. It was a delicious surprise to get great food in a Westfield food court.

There are a few Lebanese choices in Westfield Stratford but this one is definitely the best. The wrap with salad and hummus was excellent and the mint tea was lovely. A nice touch of attention to detail was the warm cups served with the teapot. Overall fresh, tasty and good service.

MORE AT TripAdvisor

Comptoir Libanais is a chain of Lebanese restaurants. Lebanese food is delicious. Comptoir Libanais is a good example of it and is a go-to option when in Westfield, Stratford.Comptoir Libanais is located in the Food Court. Of the inner restaurants, it is the first one in the line. Like all the Food Court restaurants it is a relatively small front. This brings the advantage of seeing all the activity and food choices but means it is not that much to look at or be enticed by.The food is really tasty. There are quite a few different choices worth going for so a repeat visit is necessary to savour everything worth having. The Fattet Moussaka is exceptionally agreeable. The flavouring is addictive. The consistency is a great combination of thick and light. There is a good range of vegetarian options. The drinks are ok. They look better than they taste as they are not packed with flavour. They're also a little on the small side.Value is good because of the taste rather than the price. This is not bargain basement eating but a hungry family will still find it worthwhile.Being part of the Food Court means the atmosphere is a bit weird. There are occasional events in the area which can range from the sublime such as Formula One magnificence to the ridiculous such as an empty headed fashionista video blogger non-celebrity. The events impact the atmosphere and it seems to be generally better when there isn't something going on.Seating in the Food Court is of the cheap and cheerful variety. Comfortable enough for a short stay. This is a restaurant in a shopping centre so the location is bound to be sub-optimal. The service though is friendly and simple. The food on display in the various cases looks great, it tastes just as good. Comptoir Libanais is the place to go to eat in Westfield, Stratford.

I love lebanese food , especially falafel ; we have tried this place in Westfield and I founf it over priced for the porions they serve. Falafel portion has only 3 pieces which were definitely not even close to a meal size of an adult ,humus was priced over 4 pounds i recommend trying the alternatives around
