We love this restaurant. There is always a warm welcome from charming staff who are always smiling and helpful. The food is wonderful and the decor and atmosphere tremendous.

Food is fine. Nothing great about food. As it is in zone 1 hence the prices are quite high and small portion sizes. Amazing teas and non alcoholic options. And fantastic ambience. Dessert are not good.

The inside the restaurant is vibrant and staff members especially a lady called Success was lovely. The food was delicious and filling. The only observation I had was, it can be quite crammed if everyone is seated. It might be challenging for those with accessibility issues.

They had no falafel! In a Lebanese restaurant! The portions were very small (one small kofte on a so called "large plate"). The waitresses although very courteous, kept on forgetting or mixing up our orders And what made it worse was how expensive the place was. Lovely looking place, but bad experience.

Decent Lebanese food. Had the mezze sharing platter, where most of the items were good. Falafel was extremely dry and the labneh had a very strong tang to it. The rest of the items were good, especially the hummus. Difficult to get the server’s attention, as the restaurant was packed with people. Could use an extra pair of hands in that regard. Been here a number of times, but this was probably the worst the food has been.

Excellent food. I have had their hummus, salad, chicken wrap, and lamb tagine. Everything is excellent and the service is fabulous. I have ordered deliveroo and the quality is excellent.

We had a nice time but everything about this experience was wrong . Our food was one hour late and the service was very, very unorganised and slow . It is honestly the worst Comptoir Libanais I’ve ever been . They were very indifferent and robotic saying expressions like “ we are sorry for the inconvenience “ but the food was very late and cold . They did a very cheap move giving us 10% discount which was less than the service charge and then we removed the service charge and they removed the discount. Very cheap. Don’t go there . They just grab easy money from the businessmen of the area. Disappointment

WARNING - BE CAREFUL WITH PAYMENT! Was charged twice - I paid via the QR code, but when I went to leave the staff said there was a problem with the online payments that day, so I had to pay again. They assured me that I would receive a refund on the original payment within a week. Despite chasing via email and in person at the restaurant I have had no response about the refund for a month. Having to dispute the transactions via my bank.

First time at this Comptoir, Duke of York Sq and Exeter are my previous favourites. This one just as good, always love their menu. We had lunch there, all the staff are lovely, friendly and professional. Quite location too, no traffic and you can sit outside. We really enjoyed our time there. Thank you to all the staff🤗 And I bought the book.

We loved this restaurant! The Borek and the babaganoush were delish and there was one manager on duty, Olu, who was so charming! Makes such a difference to have kind and wonderful staff!

Review of Christmas menu, Liverpool Street branch. Staff were lovely, atmosphere busy and lively as you would expect at this time of year, Starters were all amazing but mains were mediocre, two of us sent back our lamb main for being cold and once we tasted it - it wasn't that good. Couldn't be bothered to complain again as everyone else was already into their mains etc. No one else with lamb main got through more than half. Colleagues who chose the chicken taouk main fared much better. Migbt be worth sticking to main menu, Hope this helps.

Our food was served shockingly quickly which was great as we were incredibly hungry at the time and had already made up our minds on what we would like to have before reaching the restaurant. The food is great and usually consistent time and time again however on my last visit my Falafel was overly difficult to bite into. Unsure what would have caused this, either over fried or insufficient mixture rest time before being cooked. Nevertheless, the other dishes made up for this, particularly the lentil starter. There are a lot of new front of house staff at this branch who could use more training on making guests feel more welcomed.

Mediocre Lebanese themed place, Big plates and small portions was the feel. Overall was tasty and no food poisoning ! Beer was cold but staff felt lethargic, and in my view this place could up its turnover if staff offered guests more food or drinks when everything was empty.

Looking for a bite before going to a show we came across this restaurant. Interesting artwork on the walls! 😄 Staff were welcoming and happy to advise on food choices. The food was delicious and will definitely go back.

Beware you will be charged extra for ‘volumtary donation’ without prior notice or explanation what it is for. Our mistake trusting in staff giving us an honest bill not realising we were being overcharged. Definitely wouldnt have paid service charge was too embarasses to say no as again this is automatically added to your bill so ended up paying nearly £9 for rubbish service. Waited long to get someone’s attention to begin with, then ages for drinks, one of the staff didnt know what they were doing at all appreciate could have been the first day but no clue or common sense regarding customer service. At the end after leaving nearly £9 in tips we got asked if we wanted our change from the cash we used to pay for the bill lol JOKES!!!! Wont come back here should have gone next door like we wanted as nearly walked out after waiting ages for someone to come up to take the order. Food was ok their stabdard although the tagine tasted reheated dont get the frozen mint vodka very peculiar taste and smell the drink is just too bitter and little taste of mint or vodka

This would and should have been 5 stars but for the fact they took my order for a Steak Skewer, only to rescind that order within 60 Seconds saying they had no beef! So instead I went for the mixed grill and salad which was superb. My Lamb Kibbeh starter was excellent as was the service overall. The bottle of Rose was very good. Aperol Spritz’s we’re ok but they should be at a tenner a pop! Overall price was ok, but then again 8 expect the rental costs in Broadgate are extortionate. My main comment would be around the booking slots. We ate at 16:30 because we were told 17:30 and 18:00 was not possible. We arrived at 16:00 and stayed until 18:00 and there was loads of tables empty? A very good overall experience though and I would use again if I go to another concert in the Barbican.

Poor service. They didn't bring everything we ordered. Tasteless and dry meat. Overpriced for the quality and quantity offered.

Our service staff was not very friendly. Restaurant looked clean but was empty. Food quality was not the best. Falafel did not taste fresh which was disappointing. Presentation was ok however taste was mediocre. Probably wouldn't dine here again.

Away for the weekend husband and I were looking for a type of cuisine that we'd not tried before and struck on Lebanese. Restaurant was surprisingly quiet for 6ish on a Friday evening in central London. Service was fine. I probably would of enjoyed my salad more if it had been half the size. Dessert was a passable orange blossom milk pudding and baklava which we shared. What made the meal though were the starters - my halloumi and roasted figs was one of the finest combination of flavours I have ever had and husband said similar of his feta based starter.

Awful experience, don’t waste your time and money! Very awful experience, would not return to this place. Looking at reviews, they are copying and pasting the responses which isn’t helpful. Visited with a larger group- they made us pre order all items for 30 people, food still took over an hour to arrive. Staff are so unprofessional and disrespectful- especially the manager so intimidating and no professionalism, they need to change the staff and management or will continue to get negative feedback.

We wasn’t allowed to sit outside even though it was hot. I ordered to half pints of beer. The waiter asked if I wanted pints. I said no, 2 half pints. He asked did I want 2 bottles. I said no again. Just 2 half pints. Waitress very disinterested.

Really good food, worth the price.

I went there with a friend in the hope that we could have a nice dinner. I’m having a gluten allergy so u can imagine how disappointed I was when I found out all I can have is a small soup. Even the rice is mixed with pasta. Why is it so difficult to cook some plain rice and make it available for people they have a health condition. I remember they used to make their mezze plate gf on request, swapping bread for veggies. When I asked for it I was being told they don’t do that. So sadly we didn’t enjoy our dine out and only ordered a few bites. Please consider being a bit more sympathetic with the matter, it’s 2023… Service was friendly and quick, the restaurant clean and tidy.. Thanks for that!

Only half the order arrived. No apology for the missing meal. Despite us arriving and ordering first the otherwise nice staff seemed more concerned with two large groups that arrived later.

Staff managed to slot us in as a walk in a busy evening and even managed to get us in with a buggy which was well appreciated. There are a lot of tables and chairs in here so getting a buggy in was easier said than done. The food was served quickly and freshly. I've eaten in a few comptoirs and the quality is always on point. Thank you! Would recommend the kebab roll on brioche. Very tasty

Ok food, dry falafel but the worst service I have ever experienced. Multiple mistakes made over a food allergy confusing the allergy of my friend which needed correcting through 3 members of staff. We then we’re accused of underpaying when they misplaced a receipt. Very unprofessional.

Good food, could be better. Thought the falafel was a bit bland and lacking flavour. Enjoyed the mezze platter.

SERVICE CHARGE CHAOS - A large group of us went for dinner after work, ordering plenty of food and drinks. Everything was so lovely until we got the bill and opted out of paying the OPTIONAL gratuity charge of 12.5% (verbatim on the menu). Suddenly everything became so difficult. They took it off and gave us the new receipt but then questioned us about it. One staff member was very hostile and just stormed off with the pay machine. We sat around for 10mins waiting and then eventually another more calmer member of staff came and let us pay. Childish behaviour, ruined the night. Shame really as we would return often otherwise but now I won't be stepping foot and will definitely NOT recommend. AVOID!!!

Dinner for 5 of us for a birthday celebration. Restaurant wasn’t busy yet the service was super super slow and not friendly at all. We ordered number of starters to share, once they finally came out, they were pretty good. Main meals were a good size and good tasted ok. It all took very long though. When bill arrived, it was wrong, didn’t allow for the £5/mezze promo on Mondays. Waiter was rather rude when we reminded him. All in all, I would not recommend or visit again.

Very disappointing dining experience. Took 20 minutes for anyone to take our drink order (mind you there were only two other occupied tables at the time) and then that same amount of time for anything to come. Our large shared mezze (which, to their credit, was the only fantastic part of the evening) arrived 2 minutes before our mains, which arrived 5 minutes *before our drinks*. Yes - the drinks were served after the starter and main. It was very difficult to enjoy the mezze with our (very small) tagines on the table getting cold. The tagines were tasteless and the chicken dry. Needless to say we didn’t stay long and I’m actually frustrated we spent the £85 we did for the short experience we had (that includes the mandatory 12.5% service change). The decor is fun though.

We went there for a farewell dinner. There were plenty of interesting dishes. Better if the portions size could be improved for the price paid. Service was good and quick enough. Atmosphere was very colourful and elegently done with their own designs. It was truly a different experience compared to common modern interior designs. Advsnce booking is recommended during rush hours.

We decided to try this place for dinner. Service was fine, no problem. Starters were LOVELY! - I had a sort of cream feta with different flavours and my partner had halloumi with roasted figs. Both were wonderful combinations of flavours! Mains were OK but not quite as good tbh. I had a lamb kebab which could have been a bit more strongly spiced and my partner's salad was large and 'ok'. But we were both happy with our evening. I will remember my starter as one of the nicest things I've had.

It's not real Lebanese food, better to change the restaurant name and the Baklawa was dry and not fresh.

Just been here for the first time and although I was hesitant after reading the reviews, I can say I very much enjoyed the food and the overall place. Nur, the waiter very lovely and another staff member offering me an extra take away bag.

Maybe we went on a bad night but it was the worst meal in years. Waiter told us the tagine was all off menu when it wasn't, then I ordered mixed grill and the chicken was raw. Rather than cook a fresh one they sent it back... but when it returned the dish smelled odd, like the meat was off. They still charged us and a tip! No offer for any reduction. Vibe: stressed....

The place had lovely decoration and it was comfortable sitting outside as it was warm. The service is very bad during the lunch time rush. The food is terrible, chicken was so overcooked! I can't even put words to it. Complaint and second plate was still dry and overcooked. Six pieces of chicken and some salad for £16! Never again.

They didn't have any mains for vegetarian they had run out and this was 6:15 pm. Not value for money and would not go there again.

Awesome ambience, quick food, amazing flavours

The menu has an enticing selection of Fentimans drinks, including the delicious rose lemonade, priced at £2.95. What we got was rose syrup, ice and water. It was not even well mixed so you could see the syrup around the bottom of the glass like urine in a swimming pool. What company has the cheek to use a quality name like Fentimans on their menu and serve up some awful market stall knock off. I hope Fentimans stop supplying them and sue them.

The worst service i have EVER HAD. Do not go here, we waited 40 minutes for our drinks (had to ask 3 times in between) and were served our wine in BEER GLASSES! yet the other customers got wine glasses….! the wine was warm (was white wine) and i asked for ice about 4 times until we got any. They got 2 of my friends orders wrong and they served 5 of us and my 2 friends had to wait an extra 45 minutes for their meal with me and my friend both complaining (all of us others had almost finished our meals). The manager was abrupt and not apologetic at all despite us raising it and eventually we were so appalled that we didn’t pay for anything. Do not recommend - possibly the worst customer service i have ever experienced.

Loved the atmosphere, but unfortunately, service was far, far below par. Our food took AGES to prepare, not of the waiters would even check in with us to see if we wanted a drink or give us an update on our order. At some point, one of us just got up and went to ask a staff member for a drink. And instead of them asking if anybody else wanted a drink, they put it on the table and before anybody could ask for anything, he walked away. Also, quite a limited selection of vegan dishes, although delicious.

Food was good but the standout memorable experience was the whole interior design and colourful vibe. We loved it.

3 stars as would have been 5 based on previous visits but the last 1..... I been here a hadfull of time b4 and picked this place for my birthday, the service this time was really bad, the place was empty yet no1 waited on us and we had to continuously ask to be served, my friends drink was not up to standards and the manager was very unprofessional and dismissive, no alternative was offered, another friends food was cold and came back cold a second time, i have never been so embarrassed. After refusing to take the drink off that my friend didnt drink and gave back to them, i had the service charge removed and wont be returning. I work in the area so very disappointing

Called in mid afternoon on Saturday - waited a while to be served drinks and then waited for someone to take the order. It wan’t any where as busy as the nearby restaurants (now we know why) Ordered starters which never arrived - just the mains which took a while! The food was ok, but not as promised - staff just seem not interested at all - not just our table, but lots of people looked to be having the same time. Would not go back here

Not having tried Lebanese cuisine I was a little apprehensive of my visit to this fine restaurant. We landed at about 6pm and was greeted by the manager who was very pleasant and accommodating. I had the Lebanese mixed grill with salad that was lush. The service was outstanding. All our large group were very impressed with their meals and considering how busy the place got the food was on the table very quickly. Would I go back again, most definitely. The warm atmosphere and great food is something to which one day I want to experience again.

Extremely friendly staff as well as delicious food! We went as a group of 9 people and ordered quite a lot of food (as you may expect). The food was excellent and served pretty quickly and the taste was great too - especially when you consider that the price is not eye watering. Would recommend it to anyone who likes a great ambiance and even better food.
