A reliable reasonably priced city centre cafe ideal for quick bites to eat. Very friendly.

We were recommended by someone in a local shop and we came in as a family of 5, the breakfast was really good, we had a terrible breakfast elsewhere the day before so it was great that we got a fantastic breakfast here

not been in for a while but always call in when in truro.wife had jacket potato/coronation chicken.i had omelet with cheese/mushrooms. stacey was there looking after her customers with the usual kindness-friendly,chatty and great customer care.shes a credit to the place,she really is.all staff are brilliant. food was lovely and fresh hot and tasty.just great basic food. toilets lovely and clean as is the whole place. many thanks to all at coffee traders.high standards stiil ongoing-we will be back.FAB! recommended.

Called in for a light lunch and was quite busy. A good choice on the menu had a brie and cranberry panini with fries and a cup of tea. Good service and a friendly atmosphere.

Lovely cafe, food always comes out quick lovely friendly staff, best English breakfast around, bacon is always crispy and eggs are always cooked perfectly whichever way you choose them! Would visit again and reccomend

We’ve been quite a few times now for breakfast and we love it. Friendly safe, good value for money and excellent portion size. Fried bread isn’t on the menu but they will happily do it when asked. Look forward to our next visit!

Just a quick visit for coffee and cake. Had a lovely chat with the chief lady serving. So friendly. It was a visit while on a long weekend break. Shame I'm too far away yo make it a regular spot.

Been a while since I've have been here and I've tried a few around, got to say out of them all in Truro Centre, Coffee Traders is my favourite, the staff are nice helpful and friendly, price is higher than ours but worth it, due to quality and quantity.

I dropped in for a coffee or two while waiting for my kids, and I couldn’t be happier - the service was friendly and prompt, and there was a very welcoming atmosphere. On top of that, the coffee was delicious, and the lemon drizzle cake was out of this world! It was a lovely place to stop and have a cuppa, and the rest of their food looked delicious too - 10/10, I will be stopping by again!

Great cafe offering a good range of meals for great prices. Friendly staff and quick service. Certainly come back here on my next trip.

A very friendly little cafe in the heart of Truro. Been many times. The team are always very helpful and friendly. The food is good and well presented. The cafe is basic in decor, neither great nor bad. But its trump card is the staff.

Called in advance for 2 bacon and egg sandwiches, payed in advance and asked if could bring it out when we arrived as didnt want to get a parking ticket…. Service was amazing and the sandwiches went down a treat !!

AVOID! Staff very rude and confrontational, went upstairs for breakfast bap and a coffee, as soon as I pulled the laptop out I was quizzed on length of stay, how much I would spend, told they "don't usually do plug ins" and that I had one hour maximum because they had to make room for bookings (On a Friday morning and I was the only one sat there..!) Don't worry though, he said he wasn't being rude... Really poor attitude, advertising free WiFi and then alienating patrons that may want it. There may be some that spend all day over a coffee but that's not everybody, very poor.

A lovely friendly cafe with great value food and brilliant service. The menu suited everyone and I would highly recommend the milkshakes.

I love a big fried breakfast and this place is the best place for it. Food is cooked to perfection, staff are loverly and it’s a great atmosphere.

After a spot of heavy rain and thankfully Costa and Starbucks full, I decided to try this little cafe on the right from Costa! I'm so glad I did!! I ordered a BLT baguette which comes with small chips and side salad.. also a flat white and a ginger beer. The baguette was delicious. Fresh crusty bread, bacon cooked perfectly. Mayo is available upon request but I didn't feel it needed it. The flat white was lovely and milk perfect with a gorgeous heart latte art ontop. Fantastic. My only personal preference is I didn't like the ginger beer by green bottle. But that is not the cafes fault. Lovely service by all who was working and even though I was solo felt welcomed. Clean cafe. Will be back again. Well done and thank you

Went in for breakfast well cooked all fresh and the waitress was very good pot of tea nice touch and orange juice come with the breakfast not the cheapest at £12.50 but in my opinion worth every penny

This establishment is absolutely phenomenal, i had the sweet chilli wrap with brie and let me tell you now it was exquisite, never have i eaten something so delicious. The waitress gave us the best service possible and was so nice my friend wouldn’t stop talking about her. Top notch 5 stars well deserved.

The cafe was full when I arrived, so there was a bit of a wait for a table downstairs. But the staff were great and kept me posted from the second I arrived in the doorway, to the moment I sat down. The service was excellent and my food arrived piping hot. Best cafe/restaurant to visit when going into Truro.

Perfect Breakfast. Not many places to get an English Breakfast in Truro. Thankfully this is the only one you need. Would love if they were on deliveroo or Uber Eats, but then I would be spending 50£ a week on breakfasts.

Overpriced for mediocre food. Fried food had a fishy taste so obviously fried in same oil as fish :/ Felt quite nauseous after eating here. Won't return.

Came here for breakfast after a swim, went for the big breakfast that comes with tea and juice! Everything was freshly cooked and delicious, great customer service from the young girls that work there, a credit to the business!

If you are visiting Truro and plan to eat there, please eat at the Coffee Trader. Despite being busy and people waiting for tables. Staff were friendly and the service was fantastic. Food was great and the portion sizes were perfect. Can't put into words how good this place is.

Really loved our lunch here - homemade quiche and homemade coleslaw - delicious and amazing. Daughter thoroughly enjoyed her homemade macaroni cheese with garlic bread. Lovely find on our visit to Truro 😀👍

Visited Truro for some shopping and a wander around from Bodmin. Would have usually gone to Cloisters but was shocked to see now gone and changed. Not really been to Truro for a while since the lockdowns do not really surprised to see things changed. Been to Coffee Traders before and thought I'd go back. Very friendly staff, very clean and tidy. Good to see the tables deep cleaned before new customers. Reminded to scan the Covid app too which I was impressed with. Nice to see all staff were very attentive to the Covid rules. Great service and extensive menu. All day breakfast seems to be very popular there. Will definitely be using Coffee Traders from now on. Brilliant 👍
