Coffee Break in Kingston upon Thames

Stopped in for a late breakfast and a catch up with a friend, and will definitely be coming back. Food was nice and very reasonably priced, and the owner was lovely and always around in case we needed anything. It's a great local cafe to support rather than all the chain ones around.

I am afraid this was really not good. Went in trusting the great reviews, despite having a gut feeling to not get in as soon as I saw it. Asked for a breakfast and the only thing with OK quality were the chips. Cappuccino was plain terrible. Poor quality/price, service was OK-ish. Not worthy I am afraid.

Fantastic Food and the staff and owner are so lovely always. It's a happy Cafe to have some lunch and the food is always delicious with lots of variety and choices. All the staff and owner are so welcoming always. I always bring friends and always have a better day for visiting. I highly recommend Coffee Break Cafe 🙂

However, we had such a great “full English Breakfast” this morning (15/01) that I’m getting up off my lazy butt to support this independent cafe. Great little find this one. Family run business, very friendly. Food fresh and nicely cooked, great variety of foods tempting every palette. Portion size good and great value for money.

I ordered jacket potato with chilli and cheese and thought it was great. Uncomplicated and satisfying food at really decent prices. Had great chat with the staff.

Considering the amount of cafe's in Kingston I'm really surprised that staff here would jeopardise potential clientele. I just witnessed a grown woman behind the till being extremely childish and laughing at a passing customer who ended up asking a reasonable question. It was uncomfortable to overhear and watch and absolutely no excuse. In customer service you never know who may pop in so it's always good to have a comfortable first impression.

Peter (the owner) is a great guy and really knows how to run a restaurant, great food, great staff and lovely atmosphere

Went for the 1st time & will definitely go again. Shared a falafel hummus and salad wrap, coffee & fruit cake. Very tasty & staff pleasant.

Estábamos en la búsqueda de el mejor café en Kingston y a pesar de nuestra buena predisposición para no ir en que pensamos en confianza los comentarios en google ya que todas ellas eran de 5 estrellas. Si eres un amante del café no sale de su manera de tener un café aquí. . .

Visitamos aquí varias veces y se ha convertido en mi reunión con el defecto lugar en Kingston central; el café es un precio razonable y es tan buena como (en mi opinión mucho mejor que) en cualquiera de las grandes cadenas hoteleras. El servicio es amable y pasadas de moda; que traer las bebidas que en vez de dejar que agrupan en torno a hasta y esperar, y hay un montón de mesas al aire libre, que es ideal para conocer gente y también para aquellos que deseen fumar.

sido comercial en Kingston durante años y nunca esta cafetería hasta hace poco tiempo, sin embargo, es ahora una parada definitiva cada vez. el propietario/gerente es un hombre muy amable, con un personal encantador. La comida y el café son muy buenos y a un precio muy razonable. La cafetería está al lado de a pie los Marlins en la parte de atrás de Marks and Spencer y vale la pena el pequeño extra.
