The food here is just brilliant, I had the Mumbai eggs paratha roll which I can throughly recommend, great selection of Indian fusion brunch options and excellent coffee.

I get my coffee here every day! The coffee is perfect and the people who make it are lovely and friendly. Whenever I have visitors or friends on Wood Street I always take them to Coffee Boxx for food. The food is interesting and delicious. Great people, coffee, food and plants!🙂

Cozy little place with a big spirit and atmosphere.

Grabbed their paneer tikka wrap for lunch and oh man was it delicious. Incredibly friendly service, lovely interior design, and nice vibes!

It's always a nice place to have brunch. The home made chai was delicious. The new menu has some delicious flavours. Super recommended if you are in the area. The team is super friendly and they will help you in case you don't know what to eat or drink.

Food is yummy, coffee is great, but the prices are a little eye watering. As an example I ordered what I thought was a fresh orange juice (as in made in the cafe!) - for £3….then I watched the lady pour from a Sainsbury’s bottle of orange juice. That’s daylight robbery if I ever did see it!

Such a lovely local spot. Nicely done. Friendly warm staff, too. The outdoor bit out back is a nice touch as well. On top of everything, the coffee is great and the food menu is fab.The sweetcorn fritters were lush! This is the sort of local independent business that I’d urge everyone to support.

This place is amazing I really like the atmosphere, good coffee The drinks and foods were all tasty and worthwhile.

I so wanted this place to be good, but unfortunately my most recent visit will be my last. The coffee is bitter and watery. , the smoothies are just okay, but nothing special. The ingredients in the cake and other food is from the cheap , mass catering end of the spectrum. A real shame because the owners seem nice, staff were friendly…when I had my second burnt tasting coffee they changed it no questions asked.

Visited this amazing coffee shop just before lock down, brilliant service. After speaking to the lovely owner she convinced me to try a chai latte it was 👌👌What so great to hear was they make their own chai syrup in-house. I had the fritters and my gf had the breakfast stack. Great quality and good portion leaving enough room for a slice of toasted banana bread AGAIN made inhouse!! This little gem is definitely a great addition to Wood Street. Great to see a Speciality Coffee Shop with a great vibe! Can't wait for them to open again 🙌

Lovely cafe, perfect coffee, not all all bitter & a very good menu choice. We had avocado on sour dough toast, grilled halloumi with salad, delicious. Very nice outside garden space too. Good value for money. Will definitely return 🙂

This place is an adorable, friendly coffee shop with the best goddam cappuccino I think I've ever had. They've recently put heaters out in their back garden, which is a really cute enclosed space out back

Having read other reviews, we decided to come and check the place out whilst we were visiting family in the area. We were in a large group and hadn't booked but the owners looked after us and rearranged tables so we could all sit together. The coffee, food and service were excellent! I like my coffee and this was without doubt, some of the best coffee I've ever had! Food was a brilliant fusion of English and home cooked Indian food. I'd highly recommend a visit.

Came here with a friend, I ordered a mocha and a caramel slice, she ordered a latte and bakewell slice. Service was good and the man behind the counter was welcoming. Nice environment and nice garden.

It’s a lovely little coffee shop with a quiet and calm atmosphere which is perfect for studying or completing any work on a laptop while enjoying an amazing coffee!!

Mellow and simple neighbourhood coffee joint also happens to do top notch and rather brilliantly unusual food. Great veggie fry up, but particularly like the toastie with samosa filling, or samoastie!

Amazing for vegans and vegetarians. Can’t recommend the brunch enough!

I'd been meaning to try this place put for so long and finally got round to it. The menu is fresh and like no other I've seen! Interesting, fresh ingredients and a nice ambiance indside. We went early so to ensure we got a seat as its always popular! We opted for the vegan breakfast stack and the vegan fritters both with avocado and vegan smoked 'salmon'. The food was so delicious I didn't want it to end!! Would recommend to anyone 😊.

The nearest place to our flat for a great coffee and breakfast/lunch. Staff are always excellent, and the couple who run it are welcoming and chatty to all, makes it feel very local. Definitely drop in if you want some well made coffee and healthy fresh food.

What a great asset to this area. Wonderful coffee that actually tastes as good as it smells, with choices of milk to meet all dietary needs. The coconut latte was delicious! They do great snacks like smashed avocado on crunchy whole grain bread with perfectly poached eggs to full scale vegetarian blow out breakfasts as well as those naughty treats like chewy flapjacks, and a range of cakes. A limited number of juices and smoothies offered too. The staff are lovely both welcoming, polite and friendly. Here’s to a good thing and hope they make a success of it, been waiting years for this to come to Woodie!

The staff at Coffee Boxx are so friendly and welcoming, their service is only surpassed by the food and ridiculously good drinks! Dog friendly and serving multiple vegan and gluten free options, it's a great place to relax or stop by for a pick me up.

Oh my ! Started working back in E.17 after many years and when I discovered coffee boxx a few weeks ago I was thrilled 😁 as there were so many vegan and vegetarian delights. I’m gaining weight very quickly as can’t resist the homemade cakes and today I had the vegan stew which was out of this world. Honestly I hope everyone visiting Wood St takes a moment to go and meet the owners who have worked so hard to create a warm and incredible space to serve their community. We’ve lived in the area for nearly 2 years and although Walthamstow has many little coffee shops, they are often rammed and just a bit too far away to pop out to.Coffee Boxx is In a perfect location.The range of drinks is wide and best of all their vegan offer is outstanding.Alternative milks offered at no extra charge and every day they have a different vegan special. I follow them on Instagram to see what it will be on my days off (being a chef myself it’s nice to get a delicious well priced lunch midweek)When they initially opened we were disappointed that they were closed on Sundays (for those rare weekends off together #cheflife) but now they are open on Sundays as well they are the perfect little local cafe. I only wish they were slightly bigger so that we could always get a table. Thankyou for joining the army of Walthamstow’s vegan heroes!

This is one of my locals and a place I love to go for coffee. Their vegetarian menu is amazing and so is their beetroot latte (alternative to caffeine) highly recommend for those looking for something different. Say Hi to Vic and Sonny who are sure to always welcome you with open arms.

The Wood Street area of Waltham Forest has always been a mixture of old fashioned suburb and light industry, with a scattering of decentish pubs and cafes. But it was only a matter of time before the yummy mummies who can't quite afford Walthamstow Village arrived. And this tiny cafe caters for them. The coffee is good, and the food presented with care, but the food menu hipster to the point of caricature - yes, of course there is smashed avocado on sour dough toast. In fact all the bread seems to be sourdough, and the cakes vegan, as was much of the rest of the menu, although poached eggs were on offer . Ours were undercooked and served on toast so tough you would have needed a steak knife to cut it easily. And the cafe, although attractively decorated, is so small that by the time two mothers, land-rover scale buggies and free range toddlers plus one worker and lap top, had been fitted into the space available, there was little left for anyone else - we were crammed precariously into a corner. The service was pleasant, and the venture clearly is clearly attractive to some of the kind of customer who is likely to order turmeric lattes, but would surely do better in the long term if they could evolve their own style rather than trying to replicate Shoreditch fashion c2015.

This has been my Go To coffee Shop since it first opened. The care and attention they have when it comes to preparing and serving coffee is in a league of its own, the coffee itself is by far the best I’ve ever tasted. Also reaches out to the Vegan community with completely Vegan cakes and desserts, which is always a bonus. 👍

I actually really like the coffee, food, staff, almost everything about this place. This would easily be 5 stars, but I haven't actually managed to get a cup of coffee here in 2 weeks now! Their advertised opening time is 7.30 - or was until very recently - but the shutters don't go up until 8, and the barista doesn't seem to be ready to serve until around 8.15. Like a lot of us around here, I'm on my train by then. Having got used to a good cup first thing, it's a little disappointing going back.

WOW WOW WOW. What a little gem of a coffee shop.It is a bit on the small side, but the coffee is awesome, no extra charge for Oatly and the cakes are sooo yummy. I also got to spend a bit of time with the owners to find out why they opened the place and where they took their inspiration from. Genuinely lovely people and i wish them all the best !! PS - I LOVE the lighting in the window.

Since coffee boxx opened a few weeks back it's become my go to place for a chill out and the best tasting coffee iv ever tried! My boyfriend and I have become regulars here, from the smoothies to the coffees and don't even get me started on the selection of vegan cakes! We've hunted High & low for a place like this in the area and so happy these guys opened! The people who run the place are so welcoming & always take out the time for a little chat which I find makes all the difference these days as let's be honest not everyone bothers! What would I say they need to change or improve on? Not a thing! Keep doing what your doing guys...the great customer service with a smile...the best coffee iv ever tasted and the devine vegan cakes.

Very homely feel inside the shop, especially when the the staff greeted me with a comforting smile. I had the protein shake with berries, agave and pea protein - very flavoursome and filling. I also ordered a black coffee which was a lot better than the Pret's, Starbucks and Costa's that you get. Would defo recommend.

This place is awesome. I'm not that big on coffee but the coffee here was great. There was a great selection of snacks and juices too and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back again.

Very friendly bar staff. Their vegan cakes look delicious! They also have a fridge with sandwiches and alternative cold drinks. They have two tables outside so you can enjoy your drinks on a sunny day.

Finally, a nice coffee shop in wood street! Great coffee and a selection of vegan friendly cakes. Its open from 7:00am on week days, so you may want to leave 5 min earlier for your morning commute to grab a coffee.
