We had scrambled egg with toast lovely eggs the waitress was very friendly and polite .

Really nice coffee shop and restaurant lentil and ham hough soup was lovely as was the bakewell tart and tea

The Cakes are delicious and everyone is super friendly!

We visited shortly before closing and thought we was pushing it. How wrong was we, welcomed by the staff and the lovely jinx! I had a Snickers cake and a lovely flat white My wife tried the Luxury Hot Choc Cake and it was all amazing. Even took some takeaway for the evening brew! Make sure you visit if your passing.

Excellent farm shop and restaurant with everything from fun stuff for kids to furniture and loads of lovely food. Great restaurant and coffee stop. Two of our favourites are the macaroni and the falafel brioch. And the cakes are just awesome.

My Mum took me & my husband for lunch, they both had minestrone soup, my Mum then had apple & cinnamon pie & custard, hubby had a tuna sandwich. I had roasted honey parsnip soup which was to die for & blackpudding, brie & chutney toastie which was lovely, we had soft drinks with our lunch. Hadn't been in since the farm shop has been extended, we had to wait about 15 mins for a table but spent time browsing in the shop while we waited

Amazing Smoked Haddock Pie on the specials board today. 😋 should be on the main menu, I highly recommend. Notvonly was the pie delicious and full of smoked haddock and egg but the veg were delicious too. The cabbage was shredded finely and the flavour of butter and garlic added to it's deliciousness. Always have good food when visiting the Coffee Bothy but this was exceptional 👌

I have been to the Coffee Bothy many times and the food is always excellent. Today I treated myself to lunch and the special was Smoked Haddock Pie with veg. Wow 👌 👏 The pie came looking amazing topped with creamy mash with garden peas, carrots and cabbage on the side. The carrots and peas were al dente and as they should be, the cabbage was well shredded and the flavour of butter and garlic added to it's deliciousness. The pie was stunning with the smoked haddock the star but also including egg and a creamy parsley sauce. Please put this on the main menu, it is stunning and I would definitely recommend. 😋

A nice place and the food is very tasty, but it feels a touch expensive for what is on offer. I'm saying that, but I do tend to visit every 2 months or so as I do enjoy the food.

A lovely place to visit and the staff are so lovely and the food is delicious I also enjoyed learning about the history of the how the eatery came about. Lovely gifts and healthy ready made meals with fresh produce.

Popped in for a coffee…….ended up having a delicious lunch with a delicious homemade cake for dessert. Service was very good, even reccomending some local walks. Beautiful location and the shop is great to have a look round and find some unique gifts!

Great little restaurant but we (3friends) use the Express section every week for a lunchtime snack. The food is excellent and the bacon, brie and cranberry toasted panini is the best I've had anywhere.

We've been here a few times. Service is efficient and welcoming. Coffee was fine. Scones average. The room was very cold. Overall would go back as the place as a whole is pleasant.

Was disappointed on there food today. I had ordered a big breakfast and scrambled eggs with bacon,avocado and sunblushed tomatoes and a couple off hot drinks. £28 and they all tasted the same. Wouldn't go for breakfast again

Decidedly dog-UNfriendly. After reading comments which suggested we'd be welcome with ours, we were told (it was windy and rainy) that we'd have to sit outside and brave the storm. Very poor. No reason why they can't match the welcome of other genuinely dog-friendly places (eg Dobbie's, Powmill, West Port Linlithgow, Canadian Barn Falkirk, and many more) by having a small designated area inside. That would save folks like us having a wasted journey.

Stopped by for a coffee and breakfast roll. Ingredients were all top notch, the place was spotless and efficicient and service very friendly! Will be back!

We had a long ride and looked for a refreshment. Getting to a very quiet town and found this little gem. Very very friendly and nice people and lovely food. The whole cafe is decorated well, homey and cosy. Would definitely recommend.

If you are anywhere near Skye, go to The Coffee Bothy. In fact, do not leave the island without going! Why? Rich and Andrew’s warm welcome, the super tasty food (especially the soup), mouth watering cakes, speedy service yet with a lovely, relaxed vibe, some damn fine coffee and, if you’re really, really lucky, a wee smile from young Struan!

Do not visit here with a dog unless you are prepared to sit outside in all weathers! There are only 4 tables and you ha e to pass your dog through a hole in the fence!

A great place! Warm welcome, delightful dog and cakes to die for!! The friend who was with me had no less than THREE and then bought two more to take home! If I ever come back to Broadford, I shall be sure to have breakfast, lunch and tea at the Coffee Bothy!! Good luck guys! You deserve to do really well with food of this quality!

Food is ok, but limited selection and bit pricey given there are other options in Stirling. Nice view and staff are really friendly. Few tweaks a d it would be much better.

Very flavoursome soup on our visit. Was able to buy the same flavour in the farm shop. Tray bakes and wholesome delicious food. Worth a visit!

In for a late breakfast. Seated quickly, fabulous staff, wonderful food.

We visited here on the first day of our holiday. We went back another 3 times. Scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, sun dried tomato, toast…absolutely delicious. Incredible cakes, great service from lovely staff. Knocks spots off the nearby “Nicks” in Bridge of Allan. Bought a couple of prepared frozen meals too…excellent. Fantastic job, guys!! We’ll be back.

We came today with our little dog. We're told to take a table outside and that the waitress would come to serve us. After twenty minutes of no service we left. Poor show.

Food was okay, nothing special, not much flavour. My daughter ordered nachos with spicy chicken but the chicken was spicy at all. I was nearly finished my panini when the server brought over my latte.

The food was good, as was the setting but the accoustics are such that it was very noisy - to the extent that I and my two friends couldn't properly engage in conversation. We won't be returning because our lunch was not a pleasant experience because of the noise.

Visited back in September. Came here for lunch. A bit confusing to find this place as it's located inside the farm shop where there's another restaurant before you actually get to Coffee Bothy. It was pretty busy, but the staff handled the seating perfectly. All the social distancing procedures, with hand gels everywhere and on the tables. I ordered a Latte, a plate of scrambled eggs, avocado and sun-blushed tomatoes, and a Gypsy Cream for dessert. The latte was fantastic. Not sure if it was a robusta or arabica, but the flavour was so intense. The scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. It had just enough butter to give it a lovely aroma, but too much that it would spoil the egg flavour. The avocado were well ripened and complemented eggs beautifully as dis the sun-blushed tomatoes. The croissant was warm and had a lovely fresh bread spell. I just love the fresh buttery smell of croissants. I never experienced any of the poor service that recent reviewers mentioned and can only say that the service was excellent from all the staff who dealt with me.

I have been here a number of times, I like looking around the farm shop and I have never previously had a bad experience. I wanted to give a local business my support in these difficult times, however, I wont be rushing back anytime soon, nor will I be recommending this business anymore. I doubt they will care though because they had more customers there than they knew what to do with and couldn't look after then ones that were there. The service went from standard to terrible very quickly. The only exception to this was a woman with the name tag 'Milly' / 'Molly' who was very friendly, helpful and cheerful, despite the obviously busy morning they were having. We were sat down by someone and given a menu. It took a while for our order to be taken but not an unacceptable wait. The drinks were brought, my drinks order was wrong so they had to take it back (not a big deal, these things happen) Food came promptly and was enjoyable so we thought we would stay for a cake this is where we should have just gone home. We sat for 25 mins after our food was finished waiting for our table to be cleared, still no one came, despite a number of staff members walking past, and the 'manager' even coming to the table to ask us if he could borrow the spare chair at the table. After 30 mins I went up to the bar area and asked the woman making the tea and coffee if I could have 2 cakes. (the cakes are pre-made in a covered counter and literally just needed put on a plate) We waited a further 9 mins (yes I did time it because I was giving them until 12pm exactly before we just got up and left) until eventually my boyfriends cake was brought and the table was FINALLY cleared. My cake, however, was nowhere to be seen. I waited a further 5 mins before I had to ask, again!! By the time I got my cake I no longer really wanted to be there and I no longer really wanted my cake either. The only saving grave of this visit was that the food was half price thanks to it being the last day of the 'eat out to help out' scheme. We had hoped to have a look around the shop after our brunch but by the time we left we were so disappointed that we just wanted to get out.

We used to be regulars here but not after today. Arrived at 11.00am which I appreciate is still the ‘breakfast’ time but on every other occasion we were able to have the macaroni. But not this time. The staff are all new and the previous staff would always go and ask the chef I mean it’ll just need heating up so I can’t see the issue! Opted for the small soups instead and the bowls have gotten smaller since we’ve emerged from lockdown served with the smallest thinnest piece of bread. £11.52 for two cans of coke and two soups which were nice but not filling. You can get better value elsewhere - two soups, two rolls and 2 drinks for less!! Sorry but we won’t be back in a hurry not for the quality of food but the lack of value for money.

Food good as usual. Had to wait 50min for a table though.

We arrived mid morning and my wife spoke to a young man who was going to show us to a table. My wife told him I was undergoing chemo at the moment and had little immune system and he said wait a minute and I’ll see what I’ve got available. Two minutes later he came back and showed us through to a quiet area at the back. He came back again to say he had instructed the rest of the staff not to put anyone else there while we were still there. The food we got was very tasty and piping hot. A very pleasant experience and one that we will redo at a later date

Lovely lunch and goodies from shop

Popped in for a bowl of soup after a walk in the Ochils. Great bowl of soup. The COVID risk mitigation measures put in place and applied by the business are good. I'd be happy to return to eat here.

Visited recently for coffee... Despite the restrictions, it's still very welcoming and super friendly service, so much still to choose from too... Also loads of birds nesting in the building, fun to watch them coming and going...

The Coffee Bothy is set in the flat farmland near the Ochil Hills and with a lovely view of the Wallace Monument, making it a beautiful place to sit and have lunch. They serve a variety of dishes, from hot meals, soup and sandwiches, desserts, and cakes, all of which are delicious. There is also a separate coffee shop within the Coffee Bothy, and you can purchase a variety of foods, cards and gifts from the shop. The car park is quite big but can get very busy during lunchtime. There are a number of parking bays for Blue Badge Holders near the main door.

We used to be regular visitors here and today is the first time we've been in for several months. All the staff have changed, and not for the better. One girl and a boy were too busy chatting each other up while customers were waiting. We arrived about 11:45 and according to the notice board in the doorway breakfasts were served from 09:00 -12:00. I asked for 2 bacon rolls - which has never previously been a problem - only to be told I was too late and couldn't have filled rolls. I had a soup combo instead, which was superb, but I don't care for the service we both received and witnessed today. It will be several more months before I consider going back!
