Food was very nice but they give you an hour and a half to order and eat, we finished with 20 mi utes to spare so we ordered some drinks and we was told it was not a good idea as we did not have much time left, with 10 minutes left they brought us the bill without even asking for it. I had to tell them to leave us alone so we can enjoy our drink and I would let them know when we had finished.

Visited Saturday, friendly service on entry and exit. Bit over the top with everyone saying welcome and goodbye. Was the given the bill before asking for it and essentially kicked off the table, waitress was not friendly as well. Appreciate they are busy and can't be helped. Food very average, cocktails with way to much ice as well. Better places in Reading if you are going out. Reasonable price.

Amanda was our awesome waitress at the lovely Coconut Bar Kitchen restaurant we visited tonight! She was like a pro, smoothly taking all our orders and suggesting the most mouthwatering dishes. It was like she knew exactly what we'd love. We’ll definitely be back again!

Food was good, on a Friday night the atmosphere was really good, enjoyed it. Playing great music, well done DJ, I would definitely recommend it. Stays open till 2am on a Fri, not sure about any other days. Cocktails were ok, shots were nice.

Unfortunately the food I had here was pure slop and in no way authentic. If I could score the food a zero I would have too on the basis I didn't touch it. Staff were great but there is a compulsory service charge which really grinds my gears.

Went for dinner. Staff were very friendly and prices were reasonable, but the food was average at best and some was quite bad (tempura very greasy and soggy). And there was a lack of good vegan options (dishes were available in 'vegetable' alternatives, but there were no tofu/tempeh/seitan options) Cocktails weren't great either.

The claim to be a bar falls short as the staff seemed incapable of crafting proper cocktails. Instead, they relied on syrup and low-quality alcohol, charging extra for a supposedly "original" request.The constant push to sell mysterious cocktails was frustrating, and it felt like a ploy to divert attention from their limited drink-making skills. To make matters worse, the drinks were predominantly ice, leaving me with more watered-down concoctions than actual beverages.On a weekday, the beer selection was disappointingly empty. Have been there a thousand times, it is always great in every way. Food is amazing. Only point I would raise is the new rule of 90 minutes per table that is highlighted by staff, even when it's not busy.

This review could’ve easily been a 3 star due to the long wait for the food but one of their staff members Zaid made up for it by recognising we had been waiting a long time and prioritised our food to come out next. He also gave us a couple freebies to apologise for the wait and inconsistent service we endured.
