Incredible food, full of flavour and super fresh. Nice chilled seating area. Highly recommend.

I was excited to eat here, reading all the great reviews. But sadly I can't say I was impressed at paying £9 for this (took a bite to judge the taste before taking a pic). Green beans were missing but this was rectified. Fries were really nice though. Difficult to say something at the time as the polite young lady behind the counter was a trainee and working by herself on a busy bank holiday Friday lunchtime.

Value for money wise this place is insane (in a good way). Empanadas are big and super filling. 🔥

It’s my second visit here and I’m still loving the food! Just a heads up, it can be a bit chilly at the sitting area during winter, but that’s a small thing compared to the yummy food. If you’re looking for a spot for a quick and delicious lunch, this is definitely the place to go!

One of my favourite places on the market! Go for the vegetable empanada with salad or chips - you can’t go wrong! The staff at Cocina Mia are so friendly and accommodating and are super efficient with getting your food to you even when they’re busy at the weekends :)

Amazing place to get some food when you are at the market. They are open till late thu-sat and I highly suggest the sharing platter. It's more than enough for two, get a beer from the nearby place and you are set for a good start of the night!

I was happy with the empanada, it had been a while since I had one and the flavour was good. I wasn’t impressed with being ripped off because I was the last order of the day. Normally £6, £9 with a side - I was charged £12.50 just because it was late. I’m sure it’s a lovely spot, but this has really let it down for me.

Amazing South American Empanadas, chilli relish is incredible - great fresh and delicious salads. I used them for my 40th birthday party and was a huge hit with everyone. Delicious.

The food here is always very good quality and are well balanced - A chicken & chorizo empanada served with a refreshing salad is filling and packed full of flavour. Every time I visit the markets I plan on trying something new but always end up ordering from Cocina Mia

The food at Covina Mia is delicious. My husband loves the meat based empanadas and I love the veggie one. The selection of salads are so tasty and the chips are excellent too - getting a beer from Sir Toby’s makes it a perfect lunch!

Impressed by the salad that comes with empanada

I got a vegan roasted vegetable empanda with some salsa as a takeaway lunch. Safe to say I'll be going back to sit down and try some more of the food as what I had was incredible!

Food 10/10 - ordered an empanada (vegan) and was delicious, same with the halloumi sandwich, fries and the sopaipillas. They have a sitting area and they even offer Chilean wine in collaboration with another stall. Absolutely recommend! Great value for money.

Fantastically fresh and tasty Chilean Street food

We bought a beef empanada to share as a snack but it was delicious we had to stop and try another for lunch. The fried queso empanadas are definitely worth the few minutes wait and the salsa was beautiful too. A brilliant stop for lunch.

Oh my god. This might be the most delicious food on Norwich Market. The beef empanada had so much flavour, but its the queso ones that were our favourite with melty cheese inside. The accompanying salad is by no means an after thought. Each was flavoursome in its own right and cut through the richness of the empanada. We will definitely be heading back soon!

Portion was good but the steak was tasteless despite mentioning its marinated with chimchurri. Fries, salsa and bun were good. Just the steak needs to be seasoned to taste a bit stronger

Really impressed with the tomato, red onion, beetroot and quinoa salad I had, I don't know what dressing they use, it seemed kinda salty, but I still rate this a 5 star place because of the splash of colour I was greeted with when they passed me my order. It's the first actually warm, not-blustery sunny day in Norwich for a while and this food put me in an even better mood.

Cocina Mia is incredible. We've been living in Norwich for the last 6 months, and this is by far the best food we've had. Both empanadas were delicious and packed full! The savory sopapilla was a delicious treat. The salsa is on point, and the guacamole tasted fresh.

Hands down the best stall for food on the market, you can also practice your Spanish too!

Fantastic South American fare in our fine city of Norwich, would be hard pressed to find this quality and diversity of food anywhere else outside of London. Cant recommend this place enough.

Only found Cocina Mia today so popped in for lunch. As I wasn't sure what to have I asked the staff for recommendations and the empanada was their first choice. I went for chicken and chorizo and was amazed at the flavours it presented! Staff were lovely with a great sense of humour! A real gem on Norwich Market and I will be eating here again soon!!

Delicious food at great prices all served with a radiant smile! For a little bit of Sunshine in Norwich I would highly recommend Cocina mias food and its made with love.

My better half was having a bite to eat with a girlfriend at the Ivy, that cost them £26 each. Meanwhile, I was looking for a healthy veggie( ish) bite to eat on my own . This was my first time to Cocina Mia and it will certainly not be my last. I had spicy vegetable stew with a fried egg on top, 2 sweet potato thing is ( sorry), some delish salsa and a bottle water. Six quid. Now THAT'S value for money. All cooked on the premises, and most of the ingredients wherever possible purchased on the market. The service was friendly. Simply delicious.

We popped in to this really nice stall for lunch. Greeted by the friendly staff who were more than happy to help with the menu, both choices and pronunciation! Settled on the charcarero, steak sandwich in ciabatta, although it is so much more. Really tastes so good but a bit messy to eat, not that I am complaining. 😀 The good lady had the calbaza con mote, pumpkin & pearl barley stew with butternut squash flatbread, delicious. We both enjoyed that one. Both more than satisfied with a filing and delicious pair of meals. We will be coming back for more. Another great addition to Norwich market.

This place is insanely good. The food is amazing. The portions are massive. The price is incredible. Go as often as you can, as the price can't stay this low for much longer!!

For £5 I had a roasted veg empanada with quinoa salad and salsa. Everything was delicious, the empanada was packed with veg and the pastry was light and crispy. The salsa was was fresh and zingy. I thought it was really good quality and very filling, a brilliant value lunch.

I saw this last week when I walked through the market and though i must try that, so this week I did. I had a Chacarero (steak in a bun) but with advocado, salsa,cheese, tomato and onion. All this in a good quality bun, with a lovely flavour. The steak was cooked perfectly and of good quality. I am guessing the lady serving was the owner and she was lovely. I will be going back and finding out more about the other dishes and try them! You just have to give it a try!

Además, obtienes una pequeña olla de salsa: ¡un valor épico por el dinero (6.50 por el lote y yo estaba COMPLETO)!La salsa en sí es increíble. No estoy seguro de qué es la mezcla pero es DELICIOSO. A mi amigo, generalmente no un fanático de las especias, también le encantó. Delicioso y pequeño almuerzo.Definitivamente regresaré por más y, sin duda, trabajaré en el menú. I visited Norwich on my Birthday and just wanted a quick bite before a museum visit. I had a Completo and an awesome coffee. Lovely, clean flavours and a very generous serving with tons of avocado and a scratch made salsa. I have to and will go back to try everything else if possible. Like a fish I've been hooked.

I had lunch at this treasure-trove of a stall last week and it was difficult choosing between the many options, but I decided to have my first ever empanada and I can tell you it won't be my last. What a delicious little package, full of beef, olives, raisins and goodness. I had one of the salads alongside - beetroot and onion - which I loved for its fresh, clean flavours. It is wonderful to find food which is so incredibly flavoursome, yet balanced and healthy too. I also appreciated the wooden cutlery and recycled napkins, not to mention the friendly service. On the basis of my visit, I have no hesitation in heartily recommending this stall, the proprietor's cooking, the locally sourced ingredients, the vegan and vegetarian options, the excellent coffee and Chilean food in general. Sorry I didn't take a photo, folks, I was too eager to tuck in!

The food and the service here are very good. Norwich market is becoming a very interesting place to eat. The only downside is the limited sitting space, and at a market stall it's hard to see how that could be increased.

Stopped for lunch as had never eaten Chilean food before. Had the beef empanada with the six salads for £6. Big portions, delicious flavours and loved the hot sauce that came with it. Great service, very friendly and much recommended

I purchased a chicken and chorizo empanada with two types of salad. Three bean/avocado and quinoa. It was a lovely lunch which was full of flavour but felt really healthy.

I usually have an empanada from this brilliant Chilean market stall. However, I went for the steak sandwich with mashed avocado and green beans. It was amazing - bags of flavour and delicious steak. Make sure you have a pot of the salsa with anything you buy. It delivers on flavour and has a great kick to it!

Came here for lunch today and shared an empanada and salad. The food was delicious and the service was brilliant, ignore the 1 star review as that is uncalled for and a hurtful personal attack, and I highly doubt it is true. Wish we had got one each but we wanted to try another stall also. Will return. Thank you for a brilliant first visit.

i have managed to get food only once at Cocina Mia. The food was excellent and interesting. The service is absolutely appalling though. I guess if you are friends of the owners or people serving you would be okay though. I've never really experienced such incompetence from anywhere that actually has good food on offer.

First visit today. Just wonderful,i had to fight to stop my Chilean wife from spending all my money.Must return very soon.

I found this hidden gem whilst shopping with my 8 year old boy. I was curious but didn't think my son would be interested.. Wow I was surprised!! He loved the empanadas and I love the sopadillas. You HAVE to fit and experience for yourself.

I took my eldest daughter around Norwich market for the first time in a while and was impressed by the range of food outlets. None more so than cocina mia, a Chilean cafe that serves amazing empanadas. I chose one which had chicken and chorizo and came with a salad and quinoa. It looked like it would be a bit heavy but was surprisingly light and wonderfully flavoured. The salsa had a wicked kick to it! I will definitely go again :-)

We'd actually already eaten when I spotted the sign for Cocina Mia outside Norwich Market. I do love an Empanada so I dragged my wife and our Pug to see what was on offer. First things first ... super friendly ladies, very warm and welcoming on a wet and windy day. I opted for the spicy beef empanada (with chili sauce on the side) and was not disappointed. Warm, generous in size, great pastry and super tasty filling. Really excellent. I expect this will become my new go-to foodie place on the market from now on. Yum.
