Lovely breakfast in a nice and clean cafe. Reasonably priced with friendly service.

On our journey from Aberdeen to Inverness we stopped in Keith and visited this cafe around lunchtime for coffee and tea. The cafe became increasingly busy and seems very popular. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, but the menu is very good. It's a shame we had a good breakfast.

Every bit of this experience was wonderful! As visitors to Scotland, we were unfamiliar with some of the items but we were encouraged to try them and weren't disappointed! Lovely staff and lovely experience. Thanks for a great time!

Small, fine scottish snack bar and café, very active staff, friendly and courteous

Had heard varying reports but decided to give it a try. It was ok, nothing special. I had the quiche and couldn't actually make out what sort of quiche it was, it was just a small corner of quiche with no distinct flavour at all. Quite a big salad but again nothing special. We only stopped because we were travelling through Keith but we wouldn't stop again.

Absolute gem of a Cafe, lovely interior, pleasant & polite staff, beautiful homemade food & very affordable prices, can't recommend enough. 5*

We stopped in to have breakfast before a days exploring, and so glad we did. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast was cooked to perfection, and so tasty. The black pudding was the best we have ever tasted! If we are back there on future holidays we would definitely return!

We had an enjoyable lunch here with freshly cooked food. A place that from a distance does not advertise itself very well. Special offers of two courses midweek for senior citizens.

We were in Keith and surrounding area for a couple of days. Popped in for a cup of tea, but ended up having the breakfast, freshly cooked, the food and tea were spot on.The breakfast wasn't greasy at all like you get in some places. We enjoyed it so much we intended going back the next day, but our time was limited so didn't get the chance. The staff were really friendly and the service was good. It has a lovely atmosphere and was very clean. Good value for money.

Love this little gem. We eat there for lunch most days we can when we're visiting my mum who's in a Home in Keith. The soups are home made and simply delicious. My husband always has their chicken club sandwich, which is also delicious. The owners are really friendly and always welcome us back. I look forward to returning next time we're visiting. It is also very reasonably priced.

Lovely lunch here today, food was fantastic and staff very helpful and efficient especially when it was full and they were kept busy, well done to you all.

Met up with a friend for lunch and was not disappointed. Staff are excellent and the food is great especially the Cullen Skink. Small cafe but just my cup of tea excuse the punt!!!

The atmosphere was very nice, a sweet little tea room! The two girls who served us were really smiley and polite, so when our food arrived it was very dissapointing, I had a leek quiche with salad and ordered extra chips, and my mother had a meat with mashed potato dish, both dishes really lacked imagination and were really horrible, also too expensive for what they were. Its a shame because this little tea room has a lot of potential, but sadly we won't return again.

Arrived with my friend in Keith late morning. We enjoyed a small breakfast which consisted of 2 sausages 2 rashers of bacon with a fried egg. It was lovely. The thick brown bread toast was delicious yum yum. Staff were very helpful & friendly. We will be back for afternoon tea soon.

This is a lovely place for breakfast or a light lunch. Staff are pleasant and helpful, decor a bit mismatched...walls are full of nautical and farm related stuff, yet the tables have linen tablecloths, china sugarbowl/spoon and an old tearoom feel about them with mid matched chairs....its all very clean and tidy and I feel a bit mean mentioning it but its overall design/personality is just a little at odds. The lunches are good but limited in the choice range and portion size or it would have got 5 stars.

We were looking for a quick bite to eat and discovered this gorgeous cafe. It was late in the afternoon so the soup was gone. We chose the afternoon tea and were impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. Sandwiches, scones and cakes were very tasty.

Fabulous breakfast...earned after our swim! Totally delicious...then fresh scones out of the oven for a takeaway for later! Lovely friendly staff and very clean and pretty tables. Thanks to Susan at the swimming pool for recommending it 😀.

Visited here with friends and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and the cake! Food was freshly made and tasty and I would never have known the cake was gluten free. Would recommend this establishment for lunch and will definitely be back.

Have now visited The Boat N Barn on several occasions as we come to Keith every six weeks when we visit our hair salon. Each time we have enjoyed either the breakfast or lunch and the food has been excellent. The staff are very lovely and friendly and we will be visiting today. We would definitely recommend this lovely quirky cafe where you are made very welcome.

If you are into jam jars for flower vases and odd chairs and tables - this is the place for you. The food is excellent for the price and is served on recycled plates. The tea and coffee is served in all manner of cups and saucers - but, the price is right and the staff are brilliant.

I'm sitting outside in the sun drinking my skinny Latte. I must say it is perfect just the way I like it. Lovely staff very polite. Free wifi also which is a plus. A lovely cafe for people watching. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area

A lovely friendly cafe with above average tasty food, excellent value afternoon teas although the single cakes selection is not large all produce looks and tastes fresh. Well recommended.

Just a simple cafe, but excellent snacks at a very reasonable price. There's not too many choices in Keith, but we are glad that we found this one just off the Main Street. We enjoyed fresh Paninis with good coffee and pleasant service. Busy with locals, lovely atmosphere!

I have eaten here on a few occasions now, so far for a drink and cake and it has been excellent each time. The staff go out of their way to get your coffee as you want it if you want something other than the standard drink, and the food has been really good.

Really good breakfast at a good price, duck egg and black pudding on toast was a winner for me. 👍

We visited this cafe en route to a long drive, but because of other advise, we're not expecting too much. We were pleasantly surprised because the service was friendly and quick and the food was very nice.

If you like real home cooked meals that is simple and tasty, then drop in here. It was just what we were looking for during our travels. Not expensive and the service as you would expect in a small country town.

My wife decided to treat me to breakfast so we went along to this place. We have had breakfast here before and have never left hungry. I had a full breakfast and because of a fine day we had it outside. There is disabled access and the girls are than happy to help if you ask.

I took my very elderly mother out for morning coffee & we discovered this little gem of a cafe! It's small but beautiful inside compared to the exterior. The menu was excellent & would suit most tastes. We had coffee, tea, pancake & scone. Without a doubt the best scone I've ever tasted, fresh out of the oven, light & delicious! The waitress was very attentive & came over to ask us if every thing was to our taste, which it absolutely was. I can't wait to return :)

Is is such a nice little and peaceful place. Very nice people and the dishes are tasteful. Lots of glutenfree choices! Sandwiches, cakes... we really enjoyed it. I was fed up but at the end I had to try a Scone.... this was heaven. Thanks for this enjoying this beautiful and lovingly furnished Café.

Found this café after visiting Strathisla Distillery. Small. Table service. Good selection of soups and sandwiches. I had the ham salad on brown. My wife had the Cullen Skink (soup). Both very tasty. No bar. Good for tea and desserts. Friendly and attentive service. Free on street parking nearby.
