Coach & Horses Inn in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Haven't beennin for a few years so thought we would give it a go. So glad we stopped in meal was fantastic very tasty and very good value for money and service was great.

We hadn't booked but we're able to get a table so pleased we did. Lovely decor and ambience. Becki our Server was fabulous and so attentive. Great food and very reasonable priced. Highly recommend and if we are ever passing will definitely return.

Had some of the most amazing food here tonight, great staff great food and even better prices, will defo be back. There £10 menu is amazing and so big can't be beaten.

We have eaten at the Coach and Horses on several occasions, as a couple, also with friends and have never been disappointed. Great food, great service at reasonable prices.

What a gem of a place to visit for dinner tonight first visit to here and what a place soon as you walked through the door was greeted by the owner and a lovely guy and took us to our table lovely decor through out and the food was superb I had the pork belly and it was delicious my wife had the goats cheese and mushroom burger which she throughly enjoyed after wards the owner came over and asked if everything was OK with the food and we all said was delicious this is a must visit pub -restaurant while in Cornwall we will be going back again when next down this way 5 star service superb food thanks again to the owner and the staff

We had visited in August of this year and when we arrived in Cornwall one of the first things we did was to book for Sunday lunch. In my previous review I had said that the Yorkshire puddings were very singed, not so this time. The roast beef was so tender and the whole meal was appetizing and delicious. The waitree who brought our desserts was so helpful, I had forgotten to mention that I am allergic to strawberries and when my brownie was served with one on top she immediately went and replaced it with another portion, something that she did not have to do and I was very grateful for her help with this. We will definitely be booking for lunch again when we are next in Cornwall.

We visited for Sunday lunch, the food was tasty although the yorkshire puddings were a little singed. My only criticism is that I would have preferred my vegetables served next to the meat and potatoes and not buried underneath. The desserts were amazing!

Visited as a last minute idea for Sunday roast with my daughter, we hadn't booked but no problem and was shown to a table by a lovely lady who took the drinks order at the table and gave us the menu which had a great choice of roast meats to choose. Lovely pub , waiters really nice, had roast beef dinner for 2 , roast beef very very fatty , even had a job cutting it , roast potatoes were only half roasted, obviously what was left from lunch and reheated, bread and butter pudding didn’t even taste proper, very big disappointment considering how nice the pub looks , I suggest they find a new chef and one that is nice to the waiters , never eat there again

Local produce is used in most of the dishes you can tell the difference in the taste . The prawn & Monkfish curry was authentic and of exceptional quality . It’s a friendly pub with a great atmosphere the owners are lovely people. Reasonably priced .A great dining experience.Highly Recommended.

Locals advised that this was the place to go so we booked last minute. Warmly welcomed, good selection of beer and wines and a limited menu that meant the dishes were properly prepared, well seasoned, served in an attractive manner and again - wow- hot plates. Good starters and we were even tempted by the puds. Highly recommended. Its a pub at the front, bright cosy dining room at the rear. Local heresay is also that this is now the favourite, as several of the other local hostelries have gone "up market", discouraging locals and catering for the tourist trade with prices to match - be warned.

We visited last week with our two teenage girls and our dog. We were all made to feel very welcome and the food was gorgeous - I can personally recommend the fish stew that was full of well cooked fish and very tasty indeed. Good prices too. A lovely experience.

We had a lovely meal at the Coach and Horses. Luckily we had booked early as they seemed very busy. On Sundays they only do roasts, but it was the best roast I had every had, so well worth going on a Sunday. We had roast beef and it was well cooked & beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Not too much food either, which sometimes happens with Roast dinners. Just enough room left to share a sticky toffee pudding, yum. Everyone at the Coach and Horses was friendly and attentive, I can't fault them. The meal was great value too, it cost £5 less than the previous night's burger and chips and was 100% better.Next time I'm in Cornwall I'll be going again, maybe to try their other menu, or maybe I'll have to go twice! I did think I might stay as they do Bed & Breakfast too, but I might have to wait some time for that as they seem to be fully booked for the next year!

We ate here and 3 of us had the steak pie. Wow, superb, delicious pastry and lots of lean and large pieces of steak. We also stayed her overnight and the breakfast was delcious too. A full English cooked to perfection.

We’ve now visited twice during our weeks holiday and we have not been disappointed. The Sunday lunch was out of this world. Coupled with friendly staff and clean and pleasant surroundings it’s a must visit. We returned for an evening meal, which again was fantastic. Absolutely no complaints from us.

Ended up coming here after originally having a booking at the goldolphin but not liking the menu and so glad we did! The food was amazing and a really good price! The staff were friendly and attentive and the food came really quickly. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and would definitely return again if we came back to Cornwall from Swindon.

We hadn’t eaten here for a while and wow we were not disappointed, the food was out of this world , and we had the 3 courses for £18 , such a good price . All the staff were very accommodating and the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed . We will defo be back :)

We used many of the pub's facilities, which I'll take in turn for this review. The pub itself is very nice, welcoming, serves excellent food and good local ales. The owners and management, Ian, Elaine, Josh and Tabitha were all very friendly and accommodating. We used the function room, which was free. We had a party of 15 for dinner which the pub chef's and Tabitha coped with very well, good quality, hot and fresh food (one Celiac) which all our guests really enjoyed. The room was perfect for our needs, well equipped and isolated from the main bar area. We also stayed on the pub's campsite with a caravan for the week. The campsite was sufficient with electric hook up and fresh water, showers and toilets. All regularly cleaned and well maintained. There wasn't a chemical disposal point.The location is also very good being only minutes from the beach.Very COVID secure which made us feel safe when inside.We will definitely return when in the area again and would recommend this location for a good meal, good function room, good accommodating service and good campsite and facilities.
