Hemos comido y conseguido un montón de comida para llevar de veces. La comida es excelente y muy bien condimentadas. Su chili paneer sigue siendo inmejorable.

The food is, as ever, of a very high standard. The new management has lead to a noticeable drop in the standard of the service and the Indian food menu has been cut in half. What a shame.

I've been eating at Indian Restaurants for 55 years, Club Marina advertised 'under new management' and a junior member of their staff said it provided' the best Indian food'. Before taking friends there, last night we tried a takeaway at fairly high prices. What a waste of £33! Yes, excellent Menu; yes, double-size portions. I specially asked if the Chicken Dabba could be made Mild, for my wife. I had a lamb Dhansak which was as hot as expected. The Dabba was much hotter and 'burnt' the back of my throat. Even the Tarka Dall was too hot to eat comfortably- the first time in 55 years that I've been unable to eat an Indian meal. I'm afraid they won't survive unless they have a solely Native Indian customer base; the only other time we've met such a large amount of Chilli in every dish was when we tried a local Indian Bar & Restaurant, where we were the only non-Indian guests - and, even there, we could eat the dishes, although we prefer the more carefully & delicately spiced food of other places within easy reach.

Only ever get the same meal from here so can't vouch for all the food but I love Club Marina's chicken tikka masala. It's one of the best I've ever had. Decor in the restaurant is in need of modernisation but I always get it to takeaway. Wish they delivered!

We were there with my family. There were TVs on but no music, the decor is very tired. The staff seemed very tired ! The food was bland and the tandoori dishes were brighter red than a traffic light !!! I do not recommend this place for good food or surroundings.

Visited with friends. Pleasant restaurant that is not overbearing. The menu contains interesting dishes not seen in the average curry house. The chef was happy to cook me a dish not even on the menu, it was beautifully spiced and tasted really fresh, with the right degree of heat, the best dopiaza I have ever eaten. A little more expensive that everyday restaurants, but not dear for the food provided. The only downside was the waiters, who I found a little unattentive and not over communicative, but the chef patron made up for it with his attention to detail. Will definitely visit again

Arguably the best curries in London. In all honesty, the restaurant is uninspiring but genuinely the food is exceptional. Try the butter chicken and tarka daal as well as the king prawn jalfrezi. All ingredients are evidently fresh and food is really really tasty!

We went there on the bank holiday weekend with all of the family, we ordered the starters and one of those was an on the bone chicken dish. It wasn't cooked properly and was pink inside with some blood, therefore we sent it back. The dish came back out again and this time it seemed cooked until we found that a part of it still wasn't cooked properly and we found that the chicken was pink and in some areas blood was still present (the waiter also agreed that the chicken was raw). Now mistakes can happen, but on both occasions we didn't even receive an apology from the waiter, instead an angry face met us on both occasions, which is ludicrous. The rest of the meal was fine and there weren’t any problems with any of the main dishes, however one of the chef's that also happens to be the boss of the place had peered his head of the kitchen and took a good look at us soon after the starter had been sent back for the first time, but didn't offer any sort of apology for sending food out that could have made either one of my family members very ill.Later on whilst we were on our main course, the boss/chef leaves the kitchen and goes around to the other tables and asks if everything is ok with their food and has a good old laugh with them. It was unbelievable, it's not as if in his presence in the kitchen they sent out uncooked meat not once but twice to us.Then came the time to leave and the waiter informed us that we won't be charged for that chicken dish (like he's doing us a favour, we hardly touched it both times and if we did we would have fallen ill). I asked the waiter if the manager was in knowing full well or who was in charge of the place, he told me that the manager wasn't in. Fine, then we all left after paying and the boss/chef had the audacity to stand there next to his bar and smile at us as we left, still not having the fortitude or the humanity to apologise for the dangerous food that he allowed to be served not once but twice!! He really couldn't care less..

Ever since I first found out about Club Marina it has been my favourite Indian Restaurant and stop off for a takeaway for nights we do not want to dine out. The food is always great, no, nearly always excellent and is miles away from the bog-standard tikkas, baltis and kormas and has a wide and tasty menu variety. Oh, if you are veggie, you might want give a miss as you'll think you have gone to food heaven, other restaurants will never seem the same again. The menue is thoughtfully divided into veg and non-veg starters and mains, has a very wide variety and portions are good enough in starters to serve as a main or a side too. For something completely different try the chatpatta mogo fries, regular chips will never be the same again, not even with curry sauce! Tucked away in the veg starters is also chilli paneer, the perfect antidote from some of the rotten mattar paneers served up in inferior restaurants. The heat of the dishes (I am talking chilli hot) is determined by the customer, you want it mild or hot, no problem, just make sure you can take it hot, hot, hot if you do go for the hot option. I am told the non-veg food is just as special as the veggie variety and the Bombay Chicken is apparently more than finger-licking good! Be prepared if you go there to have televisions (nice large screens) playing all the latest Bollywood hits, straight out of real Indian Restaurants on the sub-continent, not to everyone's taste I know but it lets you know this is no standard tandoori and you're in for food that's a real eastern delight. Thanks to the power of bluetooth, I often phone ahead on my way home from work to order a takeaway to pick up and service is fast, friendly and efficient. Stopping off is like popping in to see friends. One of my earliest introductions to the Marina was at a family gathering and I was the only veggie in the party and was worried I would be treated as an afterthought. So wrong! The boss made me feel right at home, making recommendations, ensuring my food arrived and was good so, now I am a fan for life. I have been eating at Marina over four years now, never got bored, never tired of the food or good service. You will not be disappointed.

Yes ok not a restaurant for ambience or a first date ,,! But as a Londoner who has eaten Indian food for decades in the finest indian restaurants in Brick Lane,Southall, manchester, and many more ...this is the closest to home cooking , it is always full of Asians, always a good sign.Club Marina has our dearest Ash, chef and proprietor , you do not need a menu..simply tell him what you desire and he will cook it exactly as you wish , ghee free too! It has become my own personal favourite Indian restaurant and whoever I have introduced to it, always goes back! Sadly for me, I now have to book to avoid disappointment ...Club Marina for me is 10/10 for it's delicious cuisine !

I'm Indian, this place truly has good quality food, great portion sizes and fast service. Just off Regents Park Road off Finchley Central, it's far better than anything within 5 miles. The owners/chef are all REAL Indians, not Bangladeshi like a lot of the 'Indian' takeaways. Try the mixed tandoori grill and passion fruit juice for a fantastic experience, also worth trying the lamb with soy sauce from something different. Both the veg and meat dishes are good quality, and every dish is different and not cooked with the same base sauce which a lot of the other places use. Child seats are not available, and if you ask nicely they will put on the football, so you can watch the footie, and have draught beer on tap. Marina also has a branch in Kingsbury.

I was out with my North London friends who generally do not like to venture outside the N postal areas. They always seem to find different restaurants to visit on our regular get togethers so it is fun and of course we enjoy meeting up. On this occasion it is Finchley Central and an Indian restaurant called Club Marina. I do not drive - this restaurant is easily reached from Finchley Central tube on the Northern Line and a brisk 10 minute walk down towards the North Curcular. The outside of the restaurant is modern and very bright. You would be forgiven for assuming that the main cuisine might be fish cooked Indian style but very quickly you realise that this might have been a fish and chip restaurant at some time previously. There is a massive blue wooden whale monstrosity on the ceiling which sort of sets the scene below. The restaurant is extremely bright and not exceptionally pristine in appearance. You will not fail to notice two huge plasma television screens at each end of the restaurant playing Bollywood films. I cannot understand these films or there naive love affair themes. If you actually hate Bollywood films or hate huge plasma televisions in restaurants then you will not like this restaurant - but read on, there is good news ahead. The chef is a big man dressed in chef gear which for me needed a wash, he was assisted by 4 or 5 waiters dotted around a bar which took up most of one wall of the main dining room with pub like taps for dispensing beer. I am always criticised for ordering wine in Indian restaurants and for good reason - most do not understand good wine - Order beer!!My friends are another male and a female. I arrived first was shown to the table and left alone. No drinks offered no papadum - I was given a menu. Then my male friend arrived he was shown to the table and he was not even given a menu. We see each other quite rarely so conversation soon interrupts the lack of service. Then our female friend arrives and we are descended upon by two of the waiters and the service begins with vigour. You will discover very quickly that the two plasma televisions dominate this restaurant. The 4 or 5 waiters stand propped up against walls or behind the bar GLUED to the screens. To get their attention you have to almost walk into the path of their view or wave your hands about in the air. Now this is the good bit!Once you do get attention and you order your meal and it arrives you realise why you were brought to this strange place. THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT. Two of us ordered prawn puri which was cooked to perfection and it was a meal in itself. Then we had a chicken dish which was in a sizzler and was delicious. I am sorry I forget what it was called but it began with a G. Our meal was really excellent and once you can peel the boys away from the televisions the service is quite good. The chef tends to disappear into the kitchen to cook then reappears to take orders from some tables and serve the food. By the time we were in full flow the restaurant was full of people and I could see how the food is the main attraction. We got into conversation about the food with the diners on the next table and the consensus of opinion was that the food is "excellent". I agree. I did manage to block out the tv screens on a few occasions but they really are right in your face. The place could do with a deep clean and the atmosphere will not be to everyone's taste but you should go at least once to taste really excellent "home cooked" Indian food at its best and leave a review which they might read one day and maybe change their game. I don't think I would rush back to watch their idea of entertainment but would order a takeaway at a north London friend's house.

We were taken to this restaurant by friends, and have been several times since. Do not be put off by the appearance and decor, as they really do not understand this, any more than the 'Marina' name for an Indian restaurant.. All the food is freshly made from fresh ingredients of good quality by the enthusiastic chef and owner. He takes your order in person and keeps an eye on you until you leave. The staff are capable and quick. The food is honest and good because it is not the usual mushed, microwaved, blended fare, or from a bought-in pot, as is the case in so very many other Indian restaurants. If you want a good simple meal, without special decor, do try this Indian restaurant.
