Friendly staff here at this cool spot, grab a coffee (up to 3pm), browse through a pretty good selection of vinyl, prices are on point, so not necessarily any real bargains. They had a Grand Puba album on the wall, which was tempting.. There is a hair salon upstairs too, and lots more vinyl..

Awesome brunch spot that also happens to be a record shop and hairdressers. Food is incredible with its luxurious plates guaranteed to fill you up. There’s a coworking space too if you want a desk and coffee for the day.

Dog friendly, all day breakfast options, gluten/coeliac friendly. First stop on my trips to Margate, every time.

Came for brunch and couldn't fault our experience. Staff on top form, food was superb and the atmosphere warm and buzzy. Even our dog Leni enjoyed the snack and bowl of water she was given! Will definitely be back!

I went in there for a vinyl and the people are lovely, friendly and just a pleasure talking to. It's a quiet yet warm and cozy cafe that sell not only food and drink but vinyls and books. It's a nice cafe to go to for a nice look around or to have a nice snack. I overall recommend it.

Cool cafe with workspace upstairs. Very friendly staff delivering good service. Excellent coffee and sandwiches. They have a good menu, and I will return to try more!

Appalled I frequent this place 3 times a week Usually order 2 lattes @ £3.00 each £18 pwk I walked in, as usual he was too busy talking to his mates at the bar. I didn’t particularly want to wait at the counter, placed my order and sat down. He then shouted over my order to me. He was obviously grieved I hadn’t waited at the counter. Subsequently upon leaving Mr over Zealous decided to put 36pence on the cost of the coffee, when I enquired why, it was because he had to carry the coffee from the counter to the table. This A S S H O L E could do with a lesson in humility. The smugness of this guy is repugnant. Skinny dip suffered the same way. But for JoJo, I wouldn’t bother coming here. I did use a few expletives on my way out, I’m now officially banned. Oh dear oh dear. X

Absolutely love this place. Only discovered this gem a few weeks back but its quickly become a favourite of mine. I bring my dog here once a week for coffee and a bite to eat. The staff are wonderful and the decor is really nice. The food is delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

A unique venue: a cafe, vinyl shop and hairdressers. A hipsters paradise. Great a food and very helpful staff made this a memorable experience.

First time my partner and I have been here, it was wonderful! The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the free bacon for my dog, she was so happy. I'd definitely recommend and we'll be coming here again!

Lovely, chilled out spot for something to eat and drink. We had two Americano's, one bacon sarnie and a sausage sarnie. Great taste, highly recommend. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Music wasn't too loud, a good atmosphere.

Food/coffee excellent but be aware when paying by card, the staff like to add on their tip, personally i think it should be up to the customer to decide if they want to tip for the service they received

Loved this cafe! We stopped by on a late Sunday morning, it was super busy but the staff were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. They squeezed us in after a short wait. The food was delicious if you want a good breakfast, and there were a nice variety of choices (especially for veg/vegan). The coffee was so good! Seemed like a really great team of people that enjoyed working there together and an inclusive community. I can’t wait to go back when I’m next in Margate. A very quirky and unusual place. Great customer service and at really good prices. Not your normal, run of the mill cafe, but something different. Really enjoyed the visit and can't wait to go back again. No loud music, just the sounds of laughter, chat and the coffee being freshly made. Perfect.

It's good, provided you like to eat a lot of sourdough. The choice of music was challenging.

Great venue, lovely food, but no prizes for urgency! Breakfast arrived 25 minutes after we’d finished our (very small) cappuccino’s. No one on the front counter paying attention, clearly no connection between front of house & kitchen. A coffee refill while waiting the chased-up food would have been appreciated.

This is a great little coffe shop if you like vinyl! Coffee is lovely. Unfortunately the breakfast was really cold. Shame as it looked amazing! You can even listen to the record before you buy!!

Cool retro vibed coffee and record shop, with friendly staff and lovely food. Gets busy but has lots of seating, both up and downstairs.

Bacon sandwich looked really good when it came but it was very dry and wasn't offered any sauces tried my uncles one with the balsamic glaze and spinach and the flavours just didn't fit well.

I love visiting Cliffs for their amazing breakfasts! The atmosphere is really relaxed inside and the staff are always really friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! The falafel breakfast was SO good!

Lovely food that’s healthy and tasty! Very nice aesthetic atmosphere to have a coffee and some food with friends or family. However, when I did go u felt like it was a-bit tense as some staff were snappy but may have been because they were in a rush but yea. Also the upstairs sofa furniture wasn’t the most comfortable seat but besides that all the times I’ve been it’s s great place to go especially when studying or revising

What a gem of a place! Popped in after seeing a recommendation on social media. This place did not disappoint. Querky establishment with outstanding food, full of flavour and something different from the standard Margate breakfast menu. Friendly staff, a cute dog and they really have thought of everything, with a corner of kids toys so the adults can chat away with little distraction. Free WiFi too! A huge central staircase to open up yet more seating and I was pleasantly surprised to see a hairdressers tucked away upstairs but it was busy and welcoming and actually I didn't notice any extra noise from hairdryers etc. It was dissipated by the tall open ceilings and expance of windows and space. A true delight in Cliftonville, Margate

I visited this café on Wednesday morning (23rd August) with a friend and had a brilliant visit. Served by two guys who were so welcoming, one made us a delicious iced coffee using agave syrup (new to us!) which was probably the best I’ve had. Food was so good too! Lovely to find a cafe in Margate with healthy options and a great atmosphere.

I go to this cafe every time I visit Margate! The coffee is delicious, and the meaty breakfast is divine. I really loved their eggs and the addition of pickled onions. They're really great with dogs too, and the fact I can add to my record collection over breakfast is a definite plus.

Wanted a quick coffee but turned away, here 50 mins before close but turned away, as a vinyl collector this place was meant to be a bonus, paid for parking g aswell.

What a gem! Great yoghurt and granola with lovely cup of tea. The music is making my day better, the place is filled with vinyls, cd's and cassettes. Staff is very kind, quick service. What a joy to visit!🎧

Very poor service, ordered breakfast and it took an hour to arrive. We were not told there would be a long wait so it messed up our plans. Food was ok when it finally arrived, nice hash browns

Been to this place a hand full of times and I’d say the breakfast is better than most bacon lardons are more like gammon cubes which I was happy about as the thought of lardons on my plate instead of bacon sounds rough might be worth changing the wording on that one. Anyway biggest grip they have a young lad seems like a good lad but he’s had no training which isn’t his fault but we can see why order was taken wrong it arrived wrong same kid came up and we pulled him over and asked if we could change the fish as we had smoked salmon over peas it was ice cold not the dish we intended to order, he said no didn’t even ask for the reason why 😂 then the manager came said she would change it at there cost because we ordered incorrectly, At that point this was the third person I’d asked for my flat white she came back with the machine and said it wasn’t ordered, I corrected her and said I ordered it the order just wasn’t taken she igorned me, I told her not to worry about the flat white because of her rudeness my wife said don’t worry about the breakfast I’ll just have a refund, I tried to give her some advise she wasn’t really acknowledging what I was saying, I get it there’s a lot of idiots out there I see deal with them all the time I feel I thoughts were valid ones she didn’t care so I’ve put them on here. Happy hunting 👍

As always Cliffs is consistently welcoming, friendly and serving up great coffee and delicious food. I often pop by to do a spot of work or come for lunch with my kids, probably my favourite cafe.

Lucky for us our usual coffee/brunch place was closed today..Dog friendly and very welcoming, lots of specialty coffee choices, chai latte and iced coffee with fresh bottled juices..We opted for the crumpet sliders one with salmon and the other with crispy bacon landons, a side of crispy hash browns and a hearty bowl of granola accompanied with a soya chai latte WOW all was delicious.. We Loved the surroundings good tunes playing, lots of old vinyl for sale and a hair salon upstairs which was closed today but looked inviting for a makeover.. Whole place has a good feel about it, it felt welcoming and the staff were helpful, friendly and looked like they enjoyed what they were doing. Cant wait to return to try a Big breakfast, im sure it wont be too long..See you soon.

Came in here to do a little work, great place that has lots of tables, great coffee, lovely food and also is a record shop and barbers. Had the meaty breakfast and some iced coffee, both were really good. The guys working in there were super friendly and very accommodating of my dog. When I'm next in town I will be back.

Wonderful atmosphere. It's dog friendly and there's a children's section upstairs. The service is fantastic, and you feel welcomed as soon as you enter. The coffee and food is nice. Lots of vegetarian options!

My first time here and, well, WOW. Highly recommended. Lovely staff (thank you JoJo!), excellent flat white, great menu, and everything I tasted was absolutely delicious. Space is really quirky, (hurray to find some sofas) music was great, and you can pick up some second hand vinyl while you’re here. Thank you Cliffs! PS Radiators were also ON!!! 🙏

Fabulous brunch, as ever, from the friendly, helpful, attentive team at Cliffs. We love this place, with its relaxed, retro-vinyl vibe. No better place to relax and re-fuel, with the excellent choice of inventive breakfast and brunch dishes, and great coffee. The tamari mushrooms are to die for, and the veggie breakfast, just superb. The chill-out tables upstairs are ideal for friends and family get-togethers, the play area for toddlers is the ‘icing on the cake’. We’ll be back!

This café is a little out of the way in the main part of the town. The coffee is worth the walk. There are vegan-friendly options and the café is dog-friendly too.

Don't be decieved by the reviews! This is a dirty place run by 'Hipsters'. The food is out of a salad bag. No skill involved. Massive draught coming through the front door. Tables dirty, Jumping on the bandwaggon of Margate old town and 'upcoming'Clifftonville' Absolute rubbish! Avoid at all costs!

Superfine coffee served by people who smile and laugh

Grand boutique style shop, cafe, dinner, record shop, hair salon and so much more. We've just indulged in a Beautiful breakfast. Chose to try out, "The Meaty One", and honestly it's one of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten. Most definitely would recommend coming here as part of your trip to Cliftonville.

Cliffs is one of the best spots in Margate! Incredible coffee, delicious vegan food and the staff are a friendly bunch! Ideal spot to get a couple hours of work done on your laptop. Some awful comments on here calling the staff unprofessional, which is far from the truth. It's a hip record shop not some white-gloving pompous restaurant? Anyway... Welcoming atmosphere with the perfect volume records spinning in the background!
