Cheap quality food although the staff are friendly

Disgusting service. £40 worth of food rammed into a shoddy plastic bag. Food boxes ripped, crumpled, looking like they were sat on. Popcorn chicken missing. Delivery took over an hour. Rang 'restaurant' to be told the packaging and missing food weren't there problem, nor was the delivery. So Classic Chicken believe packaging and complete orders aren't there responsibility. Was then sworn at and hung up on. Avoid.

There's no where in Cardiff remotely close in quality. Great chicken, great chips, great service.

Ordered two meals and they was disgusting the chicken was hard and dry and the chips was oily and soggy through it in the bin very digusted I'd advise don't eat here as you would probably get a stomach ache or worse 🤢, will be reporting this company to the authorities.

One of Cardiff’s oldest takeaway’s. A hidden gem in cardiff. The chips are the best i've tasted. The chicken is gorgeously succulent. 5 star hygiene rating. And don't let the interior put you off this place has been up and running since I was a child and hasn't changed one bit. It may look bad but the food is good. My only negative is the chicken in the bun it's the best thing in there but sometimes I get parts of the chicken as pink or just undercooked but at the same time it's not like I haven't had this from another store frying just isn't great at cooking evenly. Came here again and as always the food is amazing for an amazing price there’s a reason this place has survived so many others including Millies fried chicken.

Ordered 4 large popcorn chicken boxes at £5.60 each, it my own fault that I assumed that includes chips at least, my local Roosters, give a box full of chips, loads of popcorn chicken and a can of your choice for only £3.75 each. Chicken was OK but not impressed at paying over £20 for a small amount of popcorn chicken. Won't ever waste my money here again.

I love fried Chicken! This is a great classic chicken joint. If you felt robbed when Miss Millies closed you’ve found your new home. The spicy wings have a great flavour. The friend chicken is crispy, tasty and succulent. Really good experience.

Not much to say, if you have a craving for some fried chicken this is the place! Served by a friendly older gentleman who I assume is the owner, opted for a fried chicken meal with fries and a drink, and for an extra £1 ontop of a meal you can add some hot wings or some chicken strips. I asked for garlic sauce and he offered me both an in-house garlic sauce or one of those foil lid dipping pots, he gave both for free and said "try both" which was awesome service. I love garlic and the sauce they made there was very strong with garlic flavour which was delicious! Chicken wise, can't really fault it, I think the chicken breast is a good marker for fried chicken and it was really tender and juicy! thigh and drumstick too! Didn't try the wings so I am unsure if they are spicy or not, and the fries were decent, unsalted so make sure to use the packet of salt they give you. Overall, just some good chicken!

I can remember going to this place in the nineties as a teenager and still go to this day, cannot bet its taste and quality, The only fried chicken shop with a 5 star hygeine rating that i am aware of unlike mos others.

It's the most amazing chicken I've had in the past 12months,chips were nice and creamy an pop was amazingly cold, all in all a good experience, I done pick up so cannot verify on their delivery but I defo will be back, great value too

Went in at lunch time with my friends to order some chicken burgers etc. 1st of all the guy behind the counter was so uninterested in serving us. I had to ask him 3 times if I could be served and he kept saying one minute and would go back to messaging on his phone. Eventually he took our order down. After 15 minutes of us waiting for our food( keep in mind that this is supposed to be a fast food establishment ) we asked what had happened to the food and the guy was rude and literally barked at me stating that when the food is ready we will have it. I was in 2 minds about walking out of that place but was hungry and had already paid so decided to ignore him and wait for the food. Eventually after 25/30 minutes of waiting we got our food. Wish I hadn't waited now as the chicken fillet in the burger was so small it could be seen and tasted so dry. When I complained about the chicken the guy said "what else do you expect when you come to this sort of place ? Your not exactly going to get restaurant quality as this is a fast food place ". I'm not sure if the guy is new in that job but I left my uneaten burger there and left that place. Didn't think I was going to get my money back due to the guy being so aggressive and acting like an idiot so I didn't even ask for a refund. I won't be going back there and I suggest you avoid that place at all cost. There is no understanding of customer service and the food is disgusting. There are plenty of other fast food joints on city road that offer good service and great fast food for the same sort of price.

I come here regularly for the boneless chicken breasts. The batter is not to crunchy but full of flavour and reasonably priced. Open till very late too, so we can enjoy this fine chicken any time of the night.

I visited this establishment on the way from work, ordered a wrap meal and classic burger meal for the flatmate, I watched the old man prepare the food and after 5 mins the order was ready. I watched him pack the food and I was pretty sure he only packed one bag of chips, so I asked him when he was handing over the food "are there two bags chips in there ", which he advised there were. As I wasn't 100% sure I let it be and took the order home. I got home and there was only one bag. I immediately called back and spoke to someone and explained what happened, he spoke to the guy who served me who was adamant he put in two bags. Obviously he didn't hence why I called up. On the positive the burger was nice but slightly clouded by the service and practically calling me a liar, I dnt think I would go there again even with the owner offering something extra when I go again.

The food is Good, bought from them many times. The price is good as well. They have deals on all the time. would recommend for a quick bite.

Visited just for fries. He ( the old man) refuses to serve me. I wanted only fries but he wanted me to buy more. When I asked why he refuses to serve me, he replied " it's a waste of time ". When I asked for an explanation it was immediately apparent he wasn't happy that I purchase just fries. Compounded by his attitude and rudeness I do NOT recommend this place.
