This is easily the BEST restaurant in the whole of Northampton. GREAT service good prices and sometimes Friday night music(abet too late for some) 9.30 would be ideal as it will attract the gamblers also as they get entertained while they gamble. Great foods Great Atmosphere GREAT service by the girls who always remember you.

Lovely Sunday lunch here today big portions meet of superior quality very good value for money The dessert was to die for baileys tiramisu again quite a big portion and tasted superb Staff are very hospitable giving really good service The main course arrived really quickly we never had to wait I woukd recommend this restaurant

Visited the restaurant with my two children for a special occasion. And was warmly greeted by Marianna . The attention to detail that she puts into making sure you receive exactly what you order is amazing. There is nowhere I’ve found where the service is so good. Thank you! But then the food arrived. Well it’s then I realised what a mistake I have been making visiting other restaurants in the area. This place is simply amazing. I will be back , again and again.

Went for a Sunday lunch with my partner- 3 courses , all good & fresh but the dessert of handmade baileys tiramisu was superb- so good I thanked the chef personally as I'm a firm believer in credit where its due .

Amazing, from start to finish the whole experience was superb. The hostess was fab, just the right level of interaction, courteous, polite and service was top class. The sort of experience you'd expect in a fine dining restaurant but without the fine dining price. 3 courses for 2 and a couple of drinks for under £50! Every course was presented exquisitely, cooked to perfection and served perfectly. Top marks and hats off to the chefs. Food was brilliant!!!!!! Highly highly recommend, especially for couples. Just remember to take some cash, you'll want to tip, it's just that good!!!

We went on Friday 15th July for my wife's birthday , it was our first visit and it will not be our last . We had in my opion the best meal restaurant meal we have ever had. The food was wonderful ,piping hot and gorgeous . The waitress maria was excellent and gave wonderful customer service; a most wonderful place to visit.

This is not the first time I visited Clary’s Restaurant and I must say it never disappoints me but the stuff and food always amaze me!! Last Sunday and I must say it was spot on! Marianna and Kasia were were very welcoming and friendly but also professional. The service was without the doubt perfect. Food was delicious. My friends very much enjoyed their Sunday roast while I had a veggie option and it was splendid. For only £13 had 3 meal course that I could enjoy in a lovely atmosphere. As a big foodie I definitely recommend it and I will be returning every Sunday!

It was my first time dining in this restaurant. And I have to say that I did really enjoyed my time in Clary’s . Food was absolutely amazing and staff was very friendly and polite. It was my first time and definitely not the last one!

Visited for Sunday lunch for my father in laws birthday as heard some good things about this place. To be honest I wasn’t expecting much but I was very pleasantly surprised. The bar area is bright and modern, drinks reasonably priced and staff were really friendly. Once we went up to restaurant we were welcomed by a lovely friendly waitress, tables were well spaced out and the room was bright and airy. Reasonable menu choice obviously restricted on a Sunday but what shocked me the most was the price! Couldn’t believe anyone could produce such an amazing Sunday roast for only £7!!! Huge home made Yorkie, 3 large slices of meat and generous portion of fresh veg- absolutely cracking dinner. We had a lovely afternoon, couldn’t fault the service, staff were great. Highly recommend this place

What a great dining experience from start to finish.Lovely surroundings and atmosphere.Food quality and presentation was superb,every mouthful of every course was so delicious....a big thank you to the kitchen team/chefs. We have been coming for Sunday Lunch since early January. The food is always amazing, very well presented and the staff are really friendly; nothing is to much trouble.We have tried Steak night as well and was really impressed. Definitely worth a visit.

I had the scallops as a starter and was perfect. Unfortunately my mum had the pork starter and it was just a huge piece of pork in a bowl (the same size as the main pork, which I've had before), she said it tasted lovely but Was just a huge hunk of meat which was too much for a starter.My mum had a main of rump steak and chips and it was really lovely and good quality steak as I tasted it. I had the main of duck was superb and probably the best I've ever had, my only fault was there were a few too many kumquat. Also the sides were all perfectly cooked and the right portion. Unfortunately the desserts were a bit of a let down, my mum said the sticky toffee pud was OK but the Palova that I had was poor despite looking great and the merangs seemed like they had just been taken from a packet and I couldn't eat it. Service was good wihh friendly professional staff. Overall though worth it for the starter and main.

I’ve been here a few times ...but this time been the worst visit !I’ve ask for bread and butter a while waiting ....but what they served to me as bread and butter was a surprise...... Never been served such a thing in a restaurant in my entire life a couple of toast bread and butter!!!bread was not even toasted!And then i did ask for ciabatta or baguette ...again I did receive microwave baguette instead !!!shame again!I can’t even believe how can chefs be so lazy and unprofessional!!!How the chefs can even serve this !

We had such a wonderful night celebrating my son’s birthday Booked a gold package which was 25£ per person.... this included a 2 course meal, welcome drink and a drink with your meal....and a 5£ table bet.The food was excellent.... perfectly cooked and plentiful The staff were exceptional Faultless!!Thanks so much Highly recommend

Went for Sunday lunch with a friend. We both had the turkey roast dinner which was delicious. Good quantity of meat, vegetables, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding with gravy. It was all freshly cooked and hot. We both had a chocolate box dessert which was delicious. Well worth the prices, lovely staff and will visit again.

Although I was aware of the positive feedback Clary’s restaurant has I’ve always been reluctant to visit due to my perception of Casino dining and the lack of any external views or surroundings making it feel like a canteen. I was right as there really is nothing to see as you walk via the casino floor, up some stairs and across the empty landing/foyer into the closed off restaurant but it is nicer than a canteen.

Went here with friends on a Thursday night. The restaurant was quiet but we had an excellent meal with excellent service. Join Aspers World when you arrive to get 25% discount. Well recommended

We are in Northampton and after checking TripAdvisor we decided to give Clary's a go what a greate choice good food and the staff were just great made us feel so welcome especiall as we are from out of town would highly recommend this restaurant 100% will visit again if in the area again

We stopped in here for a meal over the bank holiday and had the steak offer. The food that came out was brilliant and our waitress Julie was fantastic. Will be making this a regular place to eat.

I had wanted to visit for sometime after seeing it rated so high on trip advisor. We visited as a big group for a birthday having wine, starters and mains. There were two vegetarians in the group who had a good selection to choose from. Fantastic choices of wine we tried 4 different bottles ranging from New Zealand white to Argentinan red. Starters included goats cheese , Scallops, pate, Prawns and chorizo. Mains on the table included duck , pork , pulled jack fruit burger and steak. All of us were delighted with our food and thats an understatement. When you think of casino you may think of fried pub grub ... this is SOO far from that. It’s a fine dining experience with great service and impeccable food. The chefs are amazing and didn’t get a chance to say thank you to them!! Thank you for living up to your trip advisor reviews !!! Well we've visited Clarys on a number of occasions in the evening and never been disappointed.

We have been coming here for years and have introduced loads of people to this restaurant. All of which still come regularly for dinner. We have a Neighbours night every Monday night for steak night. I cannot imagine anywhere in the UK that you can get a lovely steak, chips, large mushroom and grilled tomato for £5.

Myself and friends visited Clary’s, in Aspers Casino as a different type of night out, there was plenty of choice on the menu for everyone and was very surprised on the quality and cost.

Amazon food, lovely atmosphere and great customer service from the lovely ladies in the restaurant.

It was our first time eating at Clary’s, celebrating our two year anniversary. The restaurant was small but very spacious, it never felt like you were sitting on someone else’s table which is a standard for smaller restaurants. Staff were so helpful, kind and friendly without being in your face. They were quick to clear tables between courses which is always good when your feeling full and the last thing you want to stare at is the food you were unable to eat. The food was tasty and beautifully laid out on the plates, portion size was reasonable, the pork belly was delicious and one of the best we’ve ever had. Would highly recommend it as somewhere to eat and will definitely be going back there in the future!

My partner and I have been to this restaurant many times now, and every time the food is exceptional! It doesn’t take too long at all between ordering and actually having the food in front of you, and always tastes brilliant. Highly recommend them.

This is one of the best places that I have ever eaten in and outstanding value for money. Staff are friendly and the food is wonderful.

It is always a pleasure to visit this wonderful restaurant. Again, a lovely meal was had by all yesterday evening. The food is presented to such a high degree. And the cooking is devine. Finally, it is all served up by such wonderful waitresses. They are all so pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. If I had one criticism it would be that it was a little noisy but then at the time of the booking I was told there would be a private party in the adjoining room. Even the day before our visit a member of staff went out of their way to phone me to point out, once again, about the party. So I can’t complain. How many restaurants would go out of their way to do that? Not many. They would be only too glad to take the booking. I have already booked up again this morning, to celebrate a family birthday in Feb. See you then. Keep up the good work!!!

This place is incredibly underrated. The food and service is always impeccable and good value for money. You get a discount on food if you have a membership in the casino.

I been here 2 times , on Sunday afternoon with my husband. Great food , my husband is a chef and is hard to make him happy but those times he really enjoy the food, prawns an chorizzo for starter and burger for main and pate and a salad for me. Nothing is to much for the staff which is as well very polite and professional. Many thanks becouse always make us feel so good at your restaurant. Highly recommended !

Visited here for a birthday treat. Saturday night. Not overly busy. We are not gamblers but the casino was interesting and busy. Excellent restaurant ambience. Decor and furnishings top class. Felt like we were not in Northampton. Good music background progressed into a nightclub event next door but this just added to the fun. Still quiet enough to talk easily. Service was excellent.. goodly pace and professional friendly staff. Food was top quality. I had belly of pork which was fantastic..... great quality and quantity. Wife had duck... again recommended. We will definitely go back. Highly recommended.

This was as good as the reviews suggested, the food was excellent, good selection of wines, great service and great value for money, if you want somewhere different I would highly recommend it, particularly the sharing platter as a starter.

I took 3 work colleagues who have never been they absolutely loved steak night and the surroundings. The steaks were cooked to perfection as usual ... good job keep up the good work 💕

Food was good for the price. The veggie option was nice but with such a strong flavour was too much and could of done with a side to break it up. Roast was ok. Puddings were nice. Staff were very friendly had to ask for a drinks menu tho.

An excellent venue for a quiet lunch in an environment which is quiet and beautifully clean. Excellent team of staff who are attentive and knowledgeable about allergens and the menu.

went for sunday lunch, 1st course mushrooms, well presented and ok. then 2 turkey slices 1 beef for sunday lunch, meat had no taste at all, texture was of a ready meal put on a nice plate with 3 aunt bessies roast potatoes, gravy that was very thin and veg that had little taste. pudding jam sponge which was fine but probably was bought out of supermarket. would not recommend sunday lunch

A safe place to eat in Northampton - friendly service in a modern vibe, classic European cuisine with - if you look for it - the odd twist on the menu. Warm caprese was fun, the steak was right without being exceptional. Could do with more wines by the glass for me, but the ones that were in the list were jolly and fine.

Attended this place for a family lunch, after the family took the casino membership. We all had Sunday roast. The service was immaculate- very friendly staff. The food was served hot and very delicious. Shall go again.

Wow what an excellent meal on 17/08/18 I had the Salmon Supreme and it was amazing. The staff as always provide excellent service and enjoy a giggle as well. Brilliant night.

Pleasant enough eatery located on the second level of a casino. Service was friendly and efficient.

The restaurant is upstairs through the Casino entrance- no signage outside to tell you that, and the parking nearby was plentiful but half the payment machines don’t work. However, the service in the restaurant is first class, the food is very good, ambiance is lovely and you can have a good conversation without loud musak interfering. Slightly on the expensive side but worth seeking out for a try.

It was very quiet when we visited on Tuesday evening, but lovely food and excellent staff! I had the fillet steak which I would have again for sure.

We visited on a Wednesday evening so it was quiet. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was really well presented and tasty and there was a good choice. We joined the casino (which took 5 mins) and got 25% discount off our bill. Definitely will return.

A party of 5 and the only customers in the restaurant. Mixed offering. Our gluten free diner was well catered for. As was our need for a nut free meal. BUT the rose duck breast with poached pear came over cooked and with a rubbery skin. A second diner was presented the dish without the pear. Stale flatbread . Charming waiter but overall could do better.

Not as good as the last time I visited The Resturant was empty except for our single booking Which should have exceptional meal preparation and service Instead the got several of our meal choices wrong. Four friends quickly became 7 and after a busy day we all decided to go for the Monday night Steak offer at Clary's which is above an enormous Casino.

Booked this last minute and was very pleased we did. Service excellent Steaks brilliant and everything you would expect from a high end restaurant. So pleased we found it and we will return very soon

I ate here last night before going down into the casino. I have to see I was absolutely blown away by the quality of food. It was simple pub style food, executed brilliantly. Everything was hot. The onion rings had a great crunch and the starters were beautifully presented. It far surpassed my expectations. The only slight criticism was that my burger was slightly over cooked by not enough to warrant me not eating it. As if the food quality was not enough, we received first class service from the two waitresses working that night. Weronika and Anna were attentive, professional and friendly without being overbearing. In summary, great food and brilliant staff. I will definitely return.

We always have a meal in Clary’s when we come to the casino. The food is always of a very high standard . The menu is good and the food is beautifully presented and always hot, and reasonably priced with great offers weekly. We visited tonight and had Marianna as our waitress. There were a few tables and Marianna moved fast and efficiently around all of them . She remembers what we had requested on our last visit and goes out of her way to ensure you get everything you need . We could not fault anything , and just wished we lived closer so we could come more often.

I visited Clary's restaurant on Sunday with a friend where we had two lovely courses - roast beef with all the trimmings, followed by a dessert of warm white chocolate cookie, topped with ice cream and strawberries which was truly delicious. All this for just £10 each which was very good value. Service was great - thanks to Julie and Marcinna for looking after us so well. We will be back soon and highly recommend to others.

We visit the restaurant most Sunday’s for lunch. The food is always excellent and so is the service. Mario and Marianna are often serving and are always friendly. The food is very reasonably priced, especially if you eat from the Sunday lunch menu. I really recommend giving the restaurant a try, you don’t need to be a member of the casino and you don’t have to gamble. Great value and great service!

5 pound steak dinner on Monday !! I thought I was surprised at my girlfriend with a steak dinner and started a very good deal. Wine and steak was delicious . Serving lady special thanks to her name Marianna who was very friendly and kind. Thanks for this evening, which was very good.

We eat regularly at Clary's and have never had a poor meal there. The food is ALWAYS excellent, steaks cooked exactly to the customers requirements, seafood & fish always fresh & tasty, good portions, well dressed plates, superb deserts and friendly attentive staff - Julie & Mario always look after us very well and nothing is too much trouble.

We visited the restaurant on Tuesday the 12th of June, we were wanting to find a place with a wide variety of food but executed with precision and a bit of love which can be hard to come by in northampton. We went for the seafood starter sharer which was very nice but i think they should swap the terrine or pate type thing for something lighter like some shell on kingprawns in a bisque, the main course's were again simple but cooked perfectly as you can see from the picture the duck dish i had was fantastic, and that poached pear with the glaze brushed on the plate wow, although the crushed butternut squash with baby turnips with the was an odd flavour combination and a bit less micro herb garnish wouldn't hurt. maybe something like some pommes dauphine potatoes would be a better match with the duck as they would be deep fried and a lot lighter and more fluffy than the crushed butternut squash. Aside from that i cant fault the meal at all it was a nice atmosphere good drinks and a attentive but not intrusive service

I cant really see why this restaurant has such a good rating. I just felt the venue was very dated - the casino and the restaurant itself, the food was nice but expensive for what it was, I wont be returning.

We came here before a concert at the Derngate. Wanted somewhere with good food walkable to the theatre - which this turned out to be. Had to eat early at 6pm which is when they opened - but were great as we needed to be quick. Had a tasty crab tortellini to start then my husband had a chicken and bacon burger - again tasty and I had a lovely almond and fig tart. Nice glass of South African chenin blanc. Good value.

Went to see Lionel Ritchie with my wife and friends and popped in the casino for a drink and see if we could grab a quick bite to eat but didn’t expect the main restaurant to be open at 11pm. So pleased it was, we were welcomed with open arms and had a great main course each before they closed at 12pm. Really well looked after and I won the price of the meal back on the blackjack table afterwards to cap off a great night.

We were alerted to this restaurant by Google and it is easy to miss being behind the blacked glass of the casino.

Excellent restaurant. Easily missed because it is inside the casino but upstairs and screened off. It isn't visible from outside due to the blacked out windows. Strictly adults only. We particularly enjoyed our duck breast and lamb steak main courses. The Argentinean malbec went down very nicely too. Simpler food available too. They asked us to join the casino for free on the night in order to enjoy a discount which made the meal great value for money. Thank you.

Wasn’t sure what to expect as restaurant above Casino but decor was tasteful and everything spotless. The food was really good and minimal wait. I had the sea bass and OH had steak. Both delicious and well presented. Our waiter Ramie(?) was extremely efficient and friendly.

1 of my Favourite places to eat, always great food, the past couple of meals we have been served by Mario who is always on hand to make sure your dining experience is pleasant. Highly recommend the seafood linguine and the duo of sea bass!

Everything about Clary's is superb, the most friendly staff ever, excellent food and extremely reasonable prices. The service was excellent, no long wait between courses as so often happens. We left feeling that we had really enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere and will certainly be returning . Well done and thanks to management and staff!

As regular visitor to restaurant I decided to invite my friends as birthday celebration and I know they can be very fussy but both choose steak one fillet and one sirloin both med rare with jacket potato and there beloved onion rings (only got offered one) with barbecue sauce were as I had my usual Slow roast lamb and they couldn't praise enough but surprise how quiet it was but explained with warm weather people would be having barbecue's Might add service was usual high standard!

Back at Clary's restaurant today, having visited last Sunday with a party of 8. Again another superb experience. The food & service was first class. My inlaws are still raving about the quality and taste of the food last week. Also they could not get their heads around the the extreme value for money. They can not wait to come back.

Had family get together Sunday lunch for mums 93rd birthday, always her first choice for excellant meal, excellant food and wonderful staff who know just how to make you feel comfortable without rushing.
