The minute you walk into the Clachaig you feel warmer. That’s only helped along by the amazing comfort food on offer. I opted for the steak pie and chips and thoroughly enjoyed! The steak just fell apart and was seasoned perfectly. I wish I could’ve stayed to sample a few pints in their cosy bar. I’ll make sure to return one day!

Me and my husband used to frequent this pub often. Amazing food, surroundings etc. However we were both disappointed with the food that was served. Several years ago it used to be amazing but at weekend , it was just average. We were disappointed. Management needs to sort this out. We hope to return again. Hopefully the standard of the food will improve.

We visited for a coffee on a way out for a walk and a soft drink on the way back. Both times the staff were indifferent to us as customers and made us feel like they were doing us a favour serving us. The place had more staff than customers and the staff were more interested in chatting to each other. The pub looked pleasant place to eat and the menu looked ok but we didn't bother going back again as part of our holiday for this reason.

Only went to have a meal but ended up walking away. I put my dog in the car to put my grandson on the swings. The car windows was all open, water was in the car,and the car was in the shade, dog was only left a few minutes plus my partner went to check on him. As I just got up from the seating area to go and get him out the car, a member of staff along with another started shouting, swearing and pointing in my face. He then tried putting a bowl of water in my car which spilt over the seat, told him to get it out my car and again more abuse. I was told his name was stevie. This idiot shouldn't be working in a place like this. I will never go back here. I just wish I had seen the manager but I was shocked angry at the way both had been with me I walked away. My grandson was crying as he was scared and saying he is a bad man. No child should see this. All this hassle for leaving my dog in the car for no longer than a few minutes
