City Picnic in Belfast

Food was lovely. Staff not great though. Waited over 10 mins to order. Didn't offer a kids menu, had to ask the people beside us if they had kids food, they told us yes but they weren't given a kids menu and were told they didn't have any printed out. Came to pay they would not split the bill and made this quite insistent. When it came to paying (now it was little change) but we weren't offered our change back, they just kept it and I heard the people in front of us who were leaving complain of the same thing, didn't give change back. I think that's a bit cheeky, to be honest.

Great food and drink. Mia and Carter were excellent servers. Would highly recommend coming here if in the Belfast area.

I normally don’t write reviews, but I felt called too for City Picnic. The entire atmosphere of the restaurant was so awesome. It was really upbeat yet still casual. Our server Ciara was absolutely lovely. She was really funny too! Not to mention the food and drinks too. The burgers and margaritas were excellent. It’s also in a great location and close to all the pubs, which we walked too after dinner.

Well!! We saw this restaurant on tiktok and decided to go here for food as it looked like it had something for everyone in our group and we were not disappointed. The cocktails were beauts, the food was tasty, especially the garlic fries, the staff were so friendly! Whilst Carter was our main server and was really friendly and helpful- everyone we that came up to us was so nice, and I mean everyone - the other manager ,Ciara I think, the runners, the man on the till literally everyone. If you go to Belfast, and you should, give city picnic a visit you won't be disappointed!

Came here for my best friends birthday and it did. It disappoint! Good vibes, great service and the food was lovely! Special mention to Carter who made our visit even more special with his spectacular service and infectious energy! Asset to the team!

I visited here and was sat outside in the courtyard type area which was very pretty. Even though they werent very busy at the time, service was very slow, and we waited a long time to even get our drinks which were just soft drinks. The burgers were nice but were just like KFC/McDonalds style chicken burgers and a bit overpriced.

Carter is an absolute star. We had a great time, and the food was stunning. Thank you guys for a brilliant afternoon!💗💗

My partner and I went in for a quick lunch but realized we should’ve went elsewhere. Location was perfect as it was city central and close to everything which made us pick here. The service wasn’t the greatest, we were greeted to our table quickly enough but must’ve waited around 20 minutes before someone came to take our food and drinks order. Eventually got served but it took a further 30 minutes before the drinks and food arrived. We were hoping the drinks would come before the food but this wasn’t the case. The food was average and it wasn’t big portions. We saw multiple couples and groups wait for a table but eventually left. Overall the service wasn’t great and we were quite disappointed with the place.

Leider war das Essen sehr schlecht. Der Pulled-Pork-Burger war zäh und hat streng gerochen, das war sehr unappetitlich. Das Fleisch im Smoked Burger war sehr trocken. Zudem waren dir Burger kalt und die Rosmarin-Pommes haben nach nichts geschmekt sondern waren nur fettig. Die Getränke waren okay und das Personal nett. Wir kommen allerdings nicht mehr.

Today my daughter and I had a delicious lunch in City Picnic. We had never been here before but we will definitely be going back. The menu was full of choices and extremely good prices, cocktails were also delicious. The one thing that made me do this review today was not just the food & drinks but the staff were so welcoming & friendly, the 2 young men serving today are a credit to the owners. The service was amazing. Can't wait for my next trip to City Picnic

I had visited this place last year and ate a beef burger, i was severely sick with food poisoning. I recently just visited this place again to give it a second chance and it wasn’t as bad. Although the service isn’t that great. There is a full range of food on the menu which is good.
