City of Paris in Reigate and Banstead

I hosted my wedding party at City of Paris, and I was incredibly impressed. The organisation was seamless, thanks to the dedicated managers and staff who ensured my vision was brought to life. They not only met but exceeded my expectations in delivering a venue that perfectly matched my dream wedding. From seating arrangements to stage setup, everything was executed with precision, adhering to the program's timing flawlessly. The exemplary customer service provided by the staff left a lasting impression on all my guests, who were made comfortable from the moment they arrived. City of Paris not only provided delicious catering but also actively engaged with guests, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the event. Many of my guests praised the food, and some even inquired about using City of Paris for their future events. Having attended two previous weddings at City of Paris, hosted by my cousins, I chose it for my own wedding party, and it surpassed all expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend City of Paris as a venue; you won't be disappointed – they deliver beyond expectations. Thank you, City of Paris, for making my wedding party truly phenomenal.

My first trip to Paris. I was invited by my son who was taking his 11 year old daughter on this trip. I could not be happier about my experiences in Paris. I loved every minute of our 6 days there. Tiny streets filled with creperies, other shops, many people. Strangely, I felt at home there. Discovery Walks was a highlight in Montmartre with Leonie as our guide. Honestly there were so many wonderful experiences there I simply can't relate them all. Just go!

Absolutely amazing food here tonight. Service amazing. Very attentive. The Chicken Tikka Massala and the garlic chicken were honestly the best both of us have ever tasted Garlic chilli naan was equally as good . If we lived close by this would be our go to place.

just paid £34 for sub standard food which we put straight in the bin<frozen veg tipped into curry ,all the dishes were made with the same sauce,never again

Had a meal for 2. food was very nice, hot when served, staff help full and happy to answer questions regarding the menu spices ingriedents.

I ordered lunch for delivery today, using Justeat. The app said that the driver was nearby and would be here any minute. I waited and waited and no food arrived. I called Justeat, who said that the driver had returned to the restaurant as he/she could not find my address. At all times, the driver had my telephone number and email address. Poor all round by Justeat’s app and by City of Paris. Will not order from either again.

Held a family gathering to celebrate the marriage of my sister so her husbands family turned up as did ours booked this place based on some good reviews however this wasnt a good experience as when food was being served we had ants coming out of the salad cold starters, food was okay nothing great bit bland and what was worse was that even though we payed for enough food for the guests the servers were reluctant to bring out more curries when guests at the table requested it. Not value for money i wouldnt recommend my friends an family to hold any sort of functions there as i felt ripped off with the amount of money that was spent. Wish i held the event at saffron kitchen in lea bridge road instead as that is our usual place where family events are held and have never left hungry or dissapointed with staff and food. Oh well you try things once i guess buh never again will visit city of paris again thanks.

Drove past this place many times. Decided to go in and try. Very nice interior, food good, service excellent service

I would like to say thanks everyone for their excellent service who was related to my recent birthday event, specially like to say thanks to Mr, Sumon and Kabir who made the event very comfortable for my guest from the beginning to end. Even though kitchen was closed while my guest was still arriving, they served them with very friendly and well manner. They just proved their great skills on hospitality once again. I would strongly recommend them for myself & others in future.

Cold oily samosas! Potatoes and chickpea totally tasteless, since when Indian food is tasteless?! Okra was just stir fried with onions and peppers, tasteless! As well as tarka dal , did the chef forget to put garlic in it?! My partner’s chicken dish was inedible, sweet cheese and garlic nan?! . Never again!!

worst food ever. No taste in the food. Was expecting at least one of the curries to be ok ish. I would not recommend

Second time I've ordered and the food is fresh and with great portion sizes. Better byriani than anywhere I've eaten in Whitechapel. Will order here again

It is a ceremony hall during the day and a bring your own alcohol policy fully functional restaurant in the evening. I quite like it. It has three different rooms. The venue can sit upto 200 people easily. Being on a Sunday event parking was easy on side road. Service is too slow and unorganised to begin with as not enough waiters working. Food was excellent. The starters of chicken tikka, samosa's, falafel, sheesh kebabs, the garlic and tomato sauce and mint sauce was superb. The mains of Chicken dupiaza and mutton curry with Dhaal absolutely superb. Really flavoursome and nicely spiced. Firni as dessert was ok but not superb a bit watery. food 9/10 Venue 8/10 Service 6/10 Overall 8/10 The service let it down, need a lead waiter to organise things as the curries came out way before any rice came and we had to remind them that the rice hasn't come out the kitchen.

Fantastic service throughout the night from a very attentive team. The food was varied and of a very high standard. We booked for our Christmas work party of 17 persons and the staff managed our order well and kept the drinks flowing. I would certainly recommend this place for hospitality, good food and value for money.

Four of us went here on a Saturday night and ordered a variety of dishes.The service was fast and efficient. The food was excellent. Only downside was that there was no mango lassi, one very disappointed visitor, but she was reassured by the tasty kulfi

2nd time at this place couple of weeks ago. Great experience from the servers and most of all the food was excellent. They didn't hold back as others have stated with negative reviews. Nice little venue for a party and most of all worth a recommendation.

It's a huge restaurant and can see that people who have had events here have left negative reviews. However, from a group dining perspective - could not fault the food at all. Sure the ambiance is probably catered to different tastes and weddings - but for a group night at a restaurant with relatively cheap drinks you couldn't ask for better, and certainly had better service and better quality of food compared to all other establishments in Brick Lane. Had party of 6 and everyone was pleasantly surprised but also happy with the selection of curries and breads ordered.

We had a meal here with our two children who love Indian Food. We found the food was very nice. The service was good and we didn't find it too expensive. Like other reviews, it is very quiet in there and they cater mainly for functions. We thought the food was very nice, we even took home the food we couldn't eat. Would definitely go back there. One to try.

Tuvimos una fiesta de compromiso para 140 personas, pero solo 110 se presentaron, organizamos bebidas para servir cuando la gente entraba, pero no lo estaban cuando se les preguntó, dijeron que la gente lo tomó y no hay más vasos cuando se les preguntó cuántas copas habían comido. 50 por lo que trataron de servir a 110 personas con 50 vasos a los que teníamos que ir los clientes y coleccionarles las gafas, qué chiste sacaron más después de enfrentar el segundo de todos los alimentos que no estaban a la altura. Teníamos un menú fijo con un precio fijo mezclar cordero al curry y pollo jalfrazy con arroz y arroz pilau cuando preguntamos por más entrantes dijeron que no había ninguno pero que habíamos pagado por 140 personas y solo 110 se habían ido las otras 30 porciones cuando se enfrentaron mágicamente reza pero no era cerca de 30 porciones alrededor de 10 jalfrazy carecía de especias lo que nunca, cuando me refiero a no había ninguno que pedimos jalfrazy porque es un plato picante pero no nos decepcionó la sal en el curry o el propietario de la mesa debe haber querido guardar m Oney, ya que estaba muy mal atendido 5 personas para servir a todos nosotros camareras tenían pelo rizado todo el lugar los camareros no querían rellenar currys o bebidas a menos que me dijeran no podía ayudarme a mí mismo, pero creo que querían despedirnos por no dar las porciones que habíamos pagado me hacen pensar que si todos los invitados vinieran, habría habido suficiente comida para la peor parte, la mayoría de los huéspedes tienen su propio restaurante y trabajan en la restauración y nosotros estábamos

Delivery was late so food was unfortunately cold. Masala was very salty and lacked coconut. Chicken was well cooked and good quality though

Reservamos una pequeña fiesta de bodas para 150 personas. Este lugar piensa que puede servir para este grupo de tamaño, pero en realidad no puede ciertamente -. Las mesas y las sillas eran tan apretado organizado, incluso el personal de servicio no podía moverse. Una vez que se sentó, se puede conseguir de nuevo, ya que están encerrados. En realidad la local sólo pueden contener alrededor de 75 a 100 personas con comodidad. Aparte de eso, el aire acondicionado estaba demasiado débil o inexistente. Si quieres ser alimentados como cerdos en un pen, entonces este es el lugar para estar.

The inside of the venue is nice and could easily fit 100 people any more than this would feel quite claustrophobic. The food was beyond disappointing! The starters were OK, and the mains lacked seasoning and tasted very unauthentic. The chicken curry was made from large pieces of chicken breast which was clearly tossed at the end in the sauce, heated up sightly and then served to guests. The chicken did not absorb any of its spices and not to mention there was hardly any chicken pieces for the 8 people who was sharing the curry! The lamb curry was bland and lacked an umph which is expected from an Indian curry. The dhaal was mmm OK. We all agreed, well at least the people from my table that the food was below average! There's no way I would consider this venue for any event!

The food was really nice though the king prawn puree was tasteless which was a shame as it was expensive and my wife likes that dish from most places. The guy didn't bring the change I instructed them to bring so he had to go back and get it. Overall the food is nice but this place is expensive. I have eaten in the place and the service is fantastic but as for take away they charge you the same but you get a lot less.

This place has wonderful food. Their portion are good. Bit on the pricy side but the food you cant fault it.

I went here just the off chance as we wanted to see if the restaurant is big enough for hold a birthday party so we also had dinner to see how good it is The mains was delicious the chicken tikka masala full of flavour really enjoyed it. The starters were ok nothing special. We had lamb chops and prawn butterfly The restaurant was quiet only couple of people inside. It is nice and quiet the way the restaurant looks inside, it looks like a wedding the way the tables are set up. The service was good the waiter asking if everything ok and made sure we were having a good timeIf you want a quiet restaurant and don't mind the tables looking like your at a bengali wedding then its ok

This place is mainly for big functions but they cater for all. Me and my 3 friends discovered. The food is excellent as is the service. I would recommend this Venue to all.

they declined the order and I have been charged for it - I would like a refund please

I've been eating there for about a year now, mostly their takeaways. It's the only decent Indian restaurant in that bit of Bethnal Green. It offers all the classics and the quality of the cooking is consistently good.The building used to be a pub and the interior is a little cavernous, something that you notice when it's quiet. They don't have an alcohol license but you are allowed to bring in your own beer and wine.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I ordered onion rice, prawn biriyani and tandoori chicken. The curry and rice had grated coconut in them which was not mentioned in the menu. I hate coconut so had to throw it all away. How can anyone put coconut in rice???? The tandoori chicken was very hard and burnt so I have to assume its probably a day or 2 old. There was no salt at all.
