Ordered a take away this evening. Arrived within the time stated. Food was delivered hot,plenty of it,and very tasty.Enjoyed so much,I telephoned to complement the chef.Highly reccomend.

Ordered take away 06:15. Told hour wait which is acceptable i feel but 45 mins in i receive a phone call to say ingredients ran out so need to amend our order to which i then did. Almost 2 hours later food arrives with no appology. Start to dish out and then find that there are items also missing. Call them up only for them to try and palm us off and get discount next time. NO NO you send the missing items. If i didnt want them i wouldnt have ordered them. Told 15 mins wait then for missing items to arrive but 1 hour later (9pm) by which time food was stone cold and still not received missing items. Gave you the benefit of doubt after a similar issue a few weeks ago but can confirm i will NEVER eat from here again. Shocking service.

Wow. First time ordering, new to area. Not sure I'll be trying anywhere else. Unless the mess up lol Not all the food was hot. But wasn't cold. And extremely tasty. Full of flavour. Great ingredients. Lamb was succulent Chicken was tender. Curry was beautiful. Keema nan was moist and flavoursome. Can't wait to try again.

I could eat from here every day of the week. Food was full of flavour and portions were perfect - big enough to fill us up but not too big that there’s loads of leftovers. It was ready exactly when they said it would be and the staff were all very friendly. I grew up in London with lots of options for Indian food, but this is by far the best and tastiest I’ve ever had!

...Cinnamon Garden in Ebbw Vale serves one of the best-tasty dishes I ever eat, and I said that as a chef who loves cooking with passion, I travel all over the world for scuba diving sites, meeting people with different cultures and their local food. I must also say that the prices are low compared with the taste and amount of that gorgeous food. Obviously, the staff who works there is extremely professional, really helpful and friendly persons. Really recommend this restaurant.

"Either the owner is s liar or restaurant is not fit for the business they advertise " NO ingredients to make pre ordered food items is either a big fat lie to deter seating in customer (in favor of tour booking) or if that is not the case then they should shut the restaurant if they have only one item in menu to offer. Given the option, I would give negative stars. Having ordered take away (collection) a day before and considering kids wanten to have south Indian food for the evening, we called the restaurant to check for the table. The lady (owner)on call said she can book us for 7 only if we pre order and leave by 7:45' as there was a tour party arriving at 8. We agreed and did pre order over call instantly in few min. When we called again in 5 min to recheck the preordered items the lady said we would have to finish by 7:30 as the tour bus is going to be there at early. We agreed and reached the restaurants by 7 (walked 20min with tired and hungry kids). The lady gave us table, checked our order and came back to us saying they don't have ingredients to make any of the items that we ordered and instead offered us fried rice. We asked how come she dint tell us on phone if ingredients were not there and offering only rice? ...She ignorantly said sorry and carried on with her business. As we walked out of door we saw tour people arriving and we understood that all this lie was to fit in those people as they came even earlier then said time (@7).

Ordered a Takeaway this evening, had wings of India for starters, and chicken balti with tika rice, it was stunning, arrived on time, piping hot, and the tastes from the curry was heaven..

I cant comment on the quality of the food because, unfortunately, Cinnamon Garden's website is so badly designed I can't get to the payment page. Nor are they answering the phone. I doubt I'm the only person whose given up and gone to the chip shop.

Will never order from here again, very disappointed, no taste to the chicken tikka, no salad, naan bread arrived cold. When I phoned to complain, was basically told only one driver available so tough luck..

Meal was delivered before the hour that staff had told me on the phone.Meal when arrived was absolutely stunning,very hot and plentiful. Ordered a take away for my family last week, beautiful food. Delivery was really quick. Food portion sizes was enough to feed two of us with some left over, Definitely recommend.

Cheaper than the Indian we normally order from but unfortunately the food didn’t quite hit the mark. The chips were inedible (cold & rock hard). The bhindi bajhee was nice enough but the vegetable bajhee was made with frozen mixed vegetables and was very spicy and the vegetable pathia was way too hot for my partner even after he added a load of coconut milk to it (he likes a hot curry but this one was molten!) The girl who delivered our order was lovely but it took ages to arrive even though we only live 2 minutes away. It was nice to be able to order online but you can’t pay by card even though it gives you the option to. It’s a shame as I had a meal from here about 18 months ago and it was delicious.

Great food but service was slow

A large group of us ate here and there were no complaints. Food was all cooked well and service was good. Bring your own drinks keeps the cost down. Surprised at how cheap the bill was too

Went here as a last min visit after another indian restaurant was closed. Was greeted by a nice young girl that showed us to our table and that's where the nice experience ended. The room was freezing cold so we kept our coats on, the staff did come and surround us with electric heaters and a gas heater (which ran out after 3/4mins) so the coats were back on. The food was ok and the girl serving was nice enough too vit there was more atmosphere in a morgue. No music playing in the back ground so we sat there in the cold and quiet waiting for our food. There was no offer of a drink so we assumed they didn't sell any type of drink as alcohol was not served there. My wife had to walk to the corner shop to buy 2 bottles of water. While she was gone I asked the girl if they sold soft drink and she replied "yeah" and just walked off 😂😂 no napkins on the tables to wipe our hands and mouths in either 🤷🏻‍♂️. The toilets were rank to say the least, the mens had a leak in the ceiling so the floors were soaking with the water dripping from them. Very very dissatisfied with the whole experience 👎👎👎👎👎

Food here is really good but unfortunately orders recently have been wrong. I have used this takeaway for years but the past 12 months their service has been awful. I did stop using it but after a knock on the door by the owner who promised me the earths the same problem has arisen again. They have lost my business for good this time. There are plenty of other good takeaways around who do good food and the order is always correct.

Just had a takeaway from the Cinnamon Garden, Beaufort, Ebbw Vale and I have to say it was one of the nicest Curry’s I have eaten. I had Jalfrezi and it was perfect, Not overly hot but the cleverness of the spicing gave a lovey warm kick to the meal instead of it being overally too hot. Absolutely perfect. I’m giving this little valley curry house a 5 star rating. You can also take your own drink, wine, beer etc Well done boys :)

Had sevral takeaways from cinnamon garden last night 12th August was one of the worst after spending £25 it was hunt the meat chicken/lamb/prawn all in short supply have you changed your chef yet again? He/she needs to be told customer's exspect value for money this meal was not.

Don't waste your money at this restaurant curries are bland and no flavour chips are not cooked properly poppadoms are really dry like they were from the night before they tried charging me for something I didn't even order and it's like it's run by a bunch of children if the staff spent less time argueing in the kitchen (which you can hear while eating in the restaurant) and more time concentrating on cooking quality food the food may be nice next time me and my partner will be staying in and having a jar curry instead be a.lot more flavour than the crap.they serve at cinnamon garden

Were we to heed the latest reviews on tripAdvisor we would not of gone into this little gem, okay it looks a tad tatty on the outside, there are no crisp white tablecloths or luxurious seating but you don't eat those. The food was a real treat, lovely flavoursome fresh food, large choice and the prices are so so reasonable, our usual curry restaurant that we go to at home has been reviewed by Tom Parker Bowles the famous food critique as being an amazing place to eat, well this gem the Cinnamon Garden equals if not goes beyond the last meal we had at home in this highly rated restaurant. The waiting staff were pleasant, attentive and on hand should we of needed them, a thoroughly good meal, and the price, oh the price was so reasonable, we couldnt believe it, we had a three course meal for two with soft drinks for under £37.00. Well worth a visit

I always visit or order from here. The food is amazing and best in area however my two recent takeaway orders were a disaster. The customer service skills of staff are far from acceptable. On both occasions orders were missing sth. The outstanding meals were delivered 20-30 mins later (I live 5 mins away) so the rest of food was luke warm by then. The staff did not rush to correct the mistakes and had an attitude on. The food was still delicious but customer service is extremely poor. Will be ordering elsewhere.

A really good restaurant with epic food. Gotta say the combo of food your able to have based on your taste is heavenly, I honestly say my favourite combo for both an eat in or take away is poppadoms with mint source, then it's onion bajis with mango chutney, after that you would have to have special rice with the chicken or lamb kurma and the side you would have to try the pewshwari, or if you don't like the sweetness of the kurma you can try the massala! That's pretty sweet too and it all ties in and inst spicy.

Phoned for a take away after a stressful day. Was told delivery would be 40 minutes. After an hour, I phoned again to be told the driver was 5 minutes away. After another 45 minutes, there was still no sign of our food so I phoned again to be told the driver was on his way as there had been a mix up in the kitchen. The driver came 5 minutes later stating that our order had been overlooked and that was the cause of the delay. The food was luke warm at best so had to be warmed in microwave. I had the lamb tikka sag balti, worst I had ever tasted. The whole dish tasted of fish. My partner tried it and all he could taste was fish. I phoned again advising the food was inedible and I was disappointed especially after the delay. I asked to speak to the manager and told he would phone me back. I put the food back into the container it came from as I knew I would be seriously ill if I ate it. No call from the manager so phoned again the following night asking to speak to the manager and requesting a refund. I told them they could come and collect the unwanted food from my house. They took my details and said the manager would phone me back....still waiting.....they had 2 opportunities to refund me and nothing. Worst take away ever, bad quality food and service.

Missing items late and cold, a bit pointless having dips and no poppadoms. I called the driver and he said he would pick the cold food up, he didnt turn up, called him again and said the manger would call me an he didn't. Messaged them on facebook and late in the night they sent this. Hi, I am not sure what you talking about. Firstly we do not delivery so how you can call delivery driver? Secondly, we don’t have any order under your name? Check first which restaurant you place order then go to trading standard. It is completely your choice where you will complain. Can you explain to your customers why you messed an order up and are now stating you dont deliver and denying that I exist? So there you have it they don't deliver and even if they did!!! they dont have my name,

Had food delivered and eaten in for last 5 years, recently it has gone down hill massively won't be ordering again worst food Ive had from a Indian restaurant

The entrance to this establishment is up a set of four very uneven steps which are accessed across a bed of loose shingle.

Ordered for delivery. Delivery was due 7.50pm then at 7.56pm a call from the business stating I was not in when the delivery was attempted. No phone call at the time and i can only imagine that the driver lightly knocked the door if at all as I was in the front bedroom reading stories to my daughter until 7.50pm then I was waiting for my delivery at the time agreed. Very poor customer service then from the business when I called and the manager (I think) told me it was my fault then put the phone down on me.. this isn't the first time they have been unprofessional. Last order I placed for delivery was 2 hours late and cold. They gave me someone else's order once when I collected and then called me when I'd got home to return it- food standards very questionable as they'd have given that to another customer! Very dissapointed, but a lesson learned- I won't be spending my money there again.

A party of 15 of us booked for an earlyish meal on a Sunday evening. We were the only people eating in the restaurant for the 1.5hrs we were there, with a constant stream of take-way meals. The two staff were very friendly and helpful and tried to warm the place up, but it was only the brave or foolish who took tier coats off. The chutneys and Papadums were severed quickly but the food did take some time to arrive. To be fair all the food was delivered at the same time and was mostly hot. No complaints on the quality of the food from anyone in the party – ages ranged from 2 to 70 years of age. Improvements to the décor and surroundings plus signage would help.

Went in a large group on New Year’s Eve, having not visited for about 8 months. I was very pleasantly surprised by the food and the service and will not wait another 8 months before returning.

The lamb was overcooked and gristly, the vegetarian option had chicken in it!!!! Sent a replacement dish that was awful. Bland. Will never return.

Good was amazing. Really lovely Indian. Just remember to take your own alcohol as they do not serve alcohol. There is a shop across the road and an off licence a short walk down the road if you forget. The young lad behind the counter was rushed off his feet but he couldn't be nicer and any more helpful. We had a lovely evening there.

We visited on a Wednesday night, a party of 5. Pleasantly surprised and great service and food. We all choose from the special menu which is available on a Wednesday and Sunday and for £9.99 included, popadom & chutneys, a starter from the main menu, any curry from the main menu & basmati rice or chips or nan. We upgraded our rice to mushroom and special and paid the extra (which was well worth it) and had nan breads. The young waiter was great and opened the wine for us and poured it out, very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our starters came quickly and the mains not long afterwards. Very tasty meal and will definitely return. Excellent customer service and great Indian food.

We ordered online on a Tuesday and received an email confirmation that our food would be delivered in the hour. We phoned 20 mins after food should have been delivered to find that Cinnamon Garden is shut on a Tuesday. Totally understand that some restaurants/take-aways are shut certain days of the week but then surely sort your online ordering out?! Not all customers follow social media (we looked into their website/social media today. Website online ordering should have indicated that they were shut. Had had a hard day and needed to feed a hungry family - had to order very late from somewhere else. Won’t bother with here again...

This place has always cooked beautiful, tasty curries and we always go back time and time again. However, after turning vegetarian a few months ago I have been extremely disappointed. It doesn’t matter which vegetable curry you order, they all taste the same! They must be using the same base vegetable curry for every one on their menu. I have attempted to contact the establishment to express my concerns but I have been ignored. I do not recommend and vegetarians to use this restaurant.

Super tasty, best Indian I’ve had in a long while

Waited well over an hour and walked out from the restaurant. More interested in serving their takeaways. A family meal before relatives were heading back to Germany so we are one very unhappy family. Won’t be going back in a hurry.

We chose this restaurant due to the location, 2 minutes from our guest house. On arrival we were the only couple dining. After 5 minutes of sitting and waiting for service a waiter asked us what drinks we would like, I ordered a beer and a soft drink for my wife. He disappeared and came back to inform me they do not serve alcohol...surely he should have already known this!! We then ordered 2 soft drinks, one coke and one orange juice and lemonade. The next 15 minutes passed and not one member of staff came to take our food order or deliver the drinks we had ordered. They were taking walk in orders and telephone orders but we didn't seem to exist. We decided enough was enough and would not be eating here. The waiter then told me he had to go to the shop to purchase the drinks we had ordered which really made me laugh. I have never experienced such poor service.

Disappointing visit having read good reviews. It was a busy Friday night with two large parties and only two waiters, one of which seemed a bit clueless on what good customer service was. Had to seat ourselves and get our own menus. We weren’t offered any drinks and were eventually given poppadoms to keep us occupied whilst we waited over an hour for them to take our order and receive our food which wasn’t very hot and below standard (naan undercooked, rice over cooked). Only good thing was the proximity to where we were staying and that the decor was better on the inside than the out!

Staying at Soar Chapel with a dog and wanted a takeaway. After looking at reviews we decided to take a chance on Cinnamon Garden. We were very pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty and fresh. We are from Birmingham so have had plenty of curries and the curry we had (chicken sali) was beautiful. We would highly recommend this place.

Very much enjoyed the food on two occasions. We nearly gave it a miss on viewing from the outside but are pleased we didn't! The restaurant was very quiet and lacked atmosphere but the food was most enjoyable. Don't be put off by the outside!

Booked a table, arrived and it was freezing in there had a gas heater in middle of room but wasn’t on and a small electric heater again not switched on, doesn’t look great if I’m honest. Went to order drinks to be told they don’t sell alcohol but we could go to the shop and get some. Had they told us that on phone we wouldn’t have gone there. We wanted a nice place and a bottle of wine!

Restaurant is opposite the Beaufort Theatre so in a few steps you can dine on delicious Indian food after a good show, or before it! I haven't tasted better and the service is good. They also provide a take a way service so if you want to eat in you can still enjoy their delightfully tasty meals! Cant wait for next visit. Caters most meals in a vegi version also.

Never been here before so took the chance from the out side it does need a little work as steps and patio area a bit uneven no good for wheelchairs but inside you can see that it has been taken over by a new company
