Placed order for collection. Ordered meat kebab roll which should have come with rice. Get it home to find no rice. Ordered sag aloo but received Bombay aloo. Too cold to go back out again.

Tonight we had a takeaway....food not quite as ordered but have to say excellent service, food hot and delivered half hour before expected..thank you..we enjoyed very much..we will try eating in the restaurant next time

Always great food cant recommend enough

I don’t understand how people are writing such positive reviews for this restaurant. I visited yesterday, ordered various non-vegetarian dishes, but when they arrived, they were all the same, with only the gravy being different. I give this restaurant and its food ZERO stars.

Been looking for a good Indian since the star of India closed down, have tried a few but all no good until I found this place. King prawn jalfrazi is amazing. Been here twice now and won’t use anywhere else . 👌🏼

Come here fairly often. Staff are so friendly and Jay is a great manager always happy to have a chat. Food is always top notch and very reasonably priced, especially compared with other Indian restaurants, everything tastes fresh, cannot recommend enough. Get out and support your local businesses!

Decent food at a reasonable price. Most dishes are not over spiced, though I am sure that they would make your curry hotter on request. Friendly efficient staff. Usually a nice relaxed atmosphere. Bring your own booze.

Have ordered food here many times over the years, never had an issue, great service and quality. Chicken Tikka Madras is awesome and king prawn puree also awesome. Did have a takeaway tonight, chilli chicken Tikka Balti and ordered a Keema Naan, got it home and the Naan was a cheese Naan, not what I wanted or ordered but it was home so I went with it. It was very good, new one for me and loved it even thou it was a mistake. It was at 5pm as well so I guess another phone order got the Keema Naan, hope they liked it.

I'm not too sure how cinnamon gets such good reviews. I've had 2 takeaways from here, having just moved to the area. I thought I'd give it benefit of the doubt. On both occasions the food had weird cold spots indicating the meal wasn't warmed through properly. It was a lot more expensive than most restaurants so expected better. I find it pretty disappointing as we are very local. The nann bread was good and the only thing fully warmed. I have a condition whereby I need to avoid bacteria and the 2nd occasion had a tummy upset the following day. I will not recommend at all!

We have used this restaurant many times over many years. Recently had delivery, rang up because after over an hour it hadn’t arrived, was told it was on the way, clearly wasn’t as 40 mins later still hadn’t arrived. Asked delivery man if it was still hot, he assured us it was, it wasn’t. So disappointing as we are now going to go elsewhere for delivery.

Very cold food, spilled sauces, a cucumber and yogurt sauce that was all so watery, almost 2 hours waiting, called the restaurant, they said we have a very busy Sunday, the driver excuse was there was a very big accident! Bad lies especially about big accident!!! I had one and lost a limb. Underwhelming food, cold food, ps my creamy king prawns? the tiniest prawns I ever seen, was really a soup? Never I ever again will order nor suggest to use this so called restaurant, if you can handle the deliveries due the fact that you have one driver then all suddenly 2, use deliveroo drivers! As that it is where my order came from! Man up. Bad response from restaurant and driver.

Food quality and taste is good. The portion sizes are small which loses a star. The delivery driver turned up without any change which loses another star.

The food is delicious and the variety is fantastic. Always arrived fresh and piping hot, I always ask for the garlic and onion to be removed because of preference and this has always been accommodated which is an absolute first for any indian restaurant I've ordered from! The staff is incredibly kind and polite, deliveries are always prompt and the staff deliver it themselves which is nice. A wonderful experience, would highly recommend. :)

Good food and friendly service as always hear. You have to buy alcoholic drinks in the shop nextdoor or bring it with you.

Staff friendly and polite. Takeaway, on the whole, was good, but they forgot to pack the lime pickle. The food was tasty in general, but the Dansak was much too mild for me, but perhaps that's more of a personal preference.

I’ve been using Cinnamon for about 4 years I think now, the people that run it are now family and my friends so to speak! .. I’ve never ever had a bad meal the food is always piping hot, delicious, excellent value for money. I cannot praise anymore! .. go find out for yourself you won’t be disappointed :) Tony (this review of course was in lockdown) the restaurant is closed at mo but fully open for take away.

I really miss the atmosphere of eating in at cinnamon, but we ordered a takeaway as its lockdown. The food was amazing, as always. I never seem to be dissapointed when i order a curry from cinnamon. (McDonald's/fast food is another story) With amazing service, and great food.. nothing I could fault. One thing I will give you a prize for, all your Currys taste so different and so fresh. Before I found you or when you was closed for a while not long ago, i would order a bhuna and it would taste bland, i would order a korai and it would taste exactly the same as the bland bhuna and this was in at least 5 local Indian restaurant's. (You was closed a little while)Every other resturant use the same sauce as a base to so many curries, yours are all made fresh (unique & the right way)and that is obvious in the outcome of your food.If our finances weren't so tight we would come again every week, but when we are out of this hole.. Very good meal I recommend fish tikka starter and the garlic special bhuna. The naga rice is excellent to get that wonderful flavour without a complete hot meal. Sides quite small but delicious.

Cinnamon is by far the best Indian takeaway/restaurant I have ever eaten from. The food is always delicious and so tasty. I keep checking the website and am so disappointed they are still shut. I completely understand, but I am not prepared to eat second best from somewhere else!! When, oh when, will they reopen??

Our favourite Indian by far!! Friendly staff, yummy food and you can take your own alcohol. What’s not to like!! My favourite dish is a garlic chicken shashlik. Very very tasty!! Keep up the good work guys!! See you soon.

After reading the reviews on TA thought we would give the restaurant a try and ordered a takeaway. Wife and son had chicken tikka balti and duck korma which were ok. Even though my wife balti was an odd red colour.The biggest let down was my so called chicken tikka dhansk. No sure if I could spot one lentil in the dish. Again the curry was an odd red colour and was the blandest curry I have ever tasted. There was no heat or spice flavour in the dish, it might well have been chicken in tomato sauce. Sorry Cinnamon put we will not be back.

Excellant value, service, and a great place to relax, and enjoy real proper Indian food, so well cooked, it is amazing. And listening to other customers, we (4) were not the only ones who went away satisfied. The food is to die for, brilliant. Been there about 10 times now and everytime, we are treated like royalty. We cannot imagine going elsewhere. The olace is fantastic, so Just Try It...

Our first time here even though we have lived in the area for 10 years. I couldn’t fault it at all, friendly greeting and the food was first class. We took our own alcohol for which they make no charge which makes the meal good value. We will certainly return.

The best curry house in Northampton by a mile. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, the staff are so friendly, and service is exceptional. We love it here, it is also bring your own booze with an off licence right next door.

We was going here weekly to say the least, but we have now purchased taste card and this restaurant doesnt allow it friday to sunday. Although it is normally very quiet, so this Is disappointing. Looks like we will be heading elsewhere, please consider changing this because we really enjoy your food. But overall the food here Is always excellent. And staff are always very good.

Even though we are regulars for both eating in and home delivery at the Cinnamon we decided to eat in for our New Years Eve dinner. As usual Wonderful tasty food and great attentive staff. Fantastic place. Love it!!!

Great place to eat good food good service

Came here tonight as we fancied a curry. It was quiet but we liked the fact that everyone was spaced apart, and not crammed together like most places we have been. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was lovely. The Vindaloo was very spicy and flavourful, and my partner enjoyed her Lahore Korai. Good prices too. Thanks. We will return.

We were part of a large group celebrating a friend's birthday. The food and service were extremely good . Excellent value for money, especially as drinks can be brought to the restaurant with no corkage (except for soft drinks) Will definitely return.

The restaurant has easy parking looks authentic the staff were welcoming and the service was very good. My wife said this is the best tikka masala I have had as was the prawn purée, the whole party of 17 enjoyed a great night, would certainly go again

We were a large group, around 20, for a birthday celebration and the staff made us very welcome and provided a seamless service. Excellent food, well presented, hot and on tine. We brought our own alcohol and no corkage was levied - a welcome benefit! Well done!

Lovely little place lots of unusual dishes to try. I had a muktaj with ginger and a secret recipe along with a ginger naan absolutely delicious. No Alcohol but it can be bought next door at bargain prices and consumed in the restaurant. Very polite and attentive staff alltogether spot on.

Been using this restaurant for quite a while now , never had anything I haven't liked , and I'm slowly working my way through the menu . Food is awesome , and every dish has distinct individual taste and flavour. I've introduced several of my closest friends , and their of a similar opinion. Well done guys , this restaurant is awesome / top notch . Tried a new dish last night , lamb kofta, wowwwwwww, my taste buds have been treated again , 10 out of 10

We have eaten here a couple of times recently and have been impressed on both occasions. The staff are helpful and friendly. I like lamb but am always dubious when ordering, but I needn’t have worried, the lamb was lean and tender. On our first visit it was busy and the atmosphere was great. It is also great that you can take your own alcohol.

This Indian is a hidden gem in northampton's crown. Food is incredible. Perfect balance of spice and portion size well you won't go hungry. Make sure you visit if nearby it won't disappoint.

The Honey Murgh Tikka was delicious, I'd definitely go again.

I actually had a takeaway not a meal in the restaurant. Chicken tikka biryani not very nice and full of artificial colouring. Vegetable curry with it was tasteless. And has anybody seen a poppadom like this 🤮

My son has recently moved to the area and had here recommended by friends. The food was delicious and of a high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Dansak was in my top 3 and I would recommend trying here.
