Chunkys Burgers & Chicken, Pizza and Kebab in Hillingdon

We have eaten here many times and have always enjoyed it. We were raving about the burgers to friends and took them there last night. It was not good. My burger was lukewarm at best and the bun was not even warm. The fries tasted like they had been cooked hours before and had sat in a warmer. They were soggy, barely warm, and tasteless. I felt horrible for suggesting we go there. Our friends said they wouldn’t go back. It was an unfortunate experience.

Relaxed atmosphere. Nice sitting area outdoors and the service was fantastic. Hamburgers are amazing and if you dare to try their hottest hamburger you will be required to sign a waiver. It is 🔥 !!!

Was out her3 for bike night. It was pretty good, nice and fresh. It's so good that we got food there the very next day. This time, it wasn't as good. I believe the moisture from the to go boxes and foil ruined it. The buns were soggy. The breading from the fried mushrooms was soggy.

Jukebox music is low when you pay to listen

Food is always awesome and at a great price! Patty melt with an egg or the Chicken tenders basket are my favorite 😉

I love coming here I come easily once a week. The burgers are great and the wings aren’t on the menu online but I usually go for that they’re really good for not being a big sell on the menu.

Great burgers, the prices are better than a fast food chains! 8-13 dollars. Outside patio is a 10/10

This place is very out dated and dirty. The cooks do not wear gloves or hair nets. The proper sanitation of running a kitchen needs to be informed and I will complain to the health services the turkey burger made me sick and the teju burger made my wife sick. This use to be a good neighborhood place when I was a kid being from the neighborhood clean this nasty place up would not recommend this place

Ordered food for pick up. Was ready by the time I got there. Burger was a good medium , so if you like it more well done, let them know. Fries are okay no seasoning. Kids meal comes with a drink so that was a nice surprise when I had thought it was just the side included for it. Mozzarella sticks were good. Had a good drive home after picking up order but I'm sure if they were fresh to eat the Mozzarella sticks would have been really good. Loved that they even had tap pay, and Pepsi Zero

Coming from out of town had a great time here. I was astonished with the hospitality. Austin at the register definitely provided great customer service and energy. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Eventhough the place is nice and the food is out of bounds, tue burgers Any burger tastes and its awsome. Only downside is that tjey need a bigger or stronger exhaust fan, because if you eat inside, you will be smoked and come out smelling grease...but other than that my hats off to them..

I love this place. I've eaten here once before about 15 years ago, and I still remember it. That's how good they are. Burger lover here, so I'm a snob to good burgers. Hands down, this place is in my top 3 places to eat burgers in Texas. The waitstaff seem friendly and I love the little atmosphere. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

I have not visited since the beginning of the pandemic. The food was good. But the restaurant needs a deep cleaning, there is dust on decorations and picture

Today was our first time dining here. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and courteous. They let us know about specials going on, and the prices are reasonable. The food is delicious!!! We tried the regular cheeseburgers, guacamole burger with a side of bacon, and the Big Chunk. So good!!! We will be coming back for sure.

The food was good so 1 star for thar. The customers service was OK one star for that. What really make me upset is that apparently they have a bikers only parking but no signage, no employee notifying anyone where to park and they threatened to tow our car for parking in this area when there was no wat fo us to know. Excuse me they had orange traffic cones that you could easily drive through. So one star for giving us notice before towing our car. This experience is easy fixes BUY SIGNS IF YOU WANT CUSTOMERS TO PARK SOMEWHERE SPECIFIC!

Place is very home feeling and the food was fantastic would definitely recommend the Chilli cheese tots the lady who was taking to go orders was very friendly I will be back for more!

Great burgers, but beware of the four horsemen burger!!! We tried it and they are not exaggerating when they say it is insanely hot. In fact, it’s not just the heat that gets you, the oil is very hard to get off your hands, even after washing them a dozen or more times! The burger also makes your stomach burn for several hours after you eat it.

The person that took our order was awesome!!! He welcome us as soon as we came in. He had welcoming smile. Very conversational and remarkable customer service. After we got our meal, the service continued. Another employee (young lady) came by and asked us if we were doing okay. If we needed anything else. Thank you for making our dinner after work, amazing.

Greasy burgers, buns are soaking in grease french fries and onion rings are from a package not homemade. Don't recommend this place.

Delicious place to eat. A bit pricey but worth it. Flies outside are annoying but everything else makes up for it.

The food, service, employees and atmosphere is phenomenal. It's usually my Friday night hangout with friends and we close the place down. Always a great time! Austin and all the staff are so awesome and entertaining. It's also great seeing families enjoying themselves. Karaoke is always fun and a must!

As a regular at Chunky’s I find it hard to believe that Austin was rude in any way, much less yelling at a woman. One bad review of someone should not decide whether you want to try a restaurant. There’s always that one person that just like to go overboard and slander people (Manuel) everyone’s a critic online. Best to approach the situation up front. Don’t leave and then slam someone online, be a grown up about it!

My experience at Chunky’s burger is always great! Kayna and Austin helped me decide on a burger that would fit my taste. I had the Zipper burger and it was hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had since I can remember. I will definitely continue to come back and support this small business!

Austin screamed at my Mom in front of all the staff and other customers after she was just asking how much longer on her food, this so called manager has discredited himself as a leader . Upper management should step in a correct this issue. This was my first time here and I don’t care if the food is good or the best, no Man should ever talk to a female like that. Yes it was busy but if the staff and the restaurant are not able to accommodate such volume , then they should regroup. We sat outside cause that’s 90% of the seating anyhow. Flies, bees are just horrible outside , we will not be back, I’d rather go to McDonalds and just be ok with it. The girls in the front did an amazing job but this manager Austin was out of line. Beware if you come and try to have a burger here , be expecting to wait a LONGGGGGHH TIME for your ICE COLD BURGER. 🍔 🥶 we left our food as well cause it’s not all that

We normally order their friend mushrooms by calling in and placing the order to go. There have been a few times we dined at the location and the atmosphere is excellent. They have live music on certain days. The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating for our requests. Sometimes, my wife and I are picky.

If you want a GOOD burger, this is the place! Inside is small but the food makes up for the lack in size. Try thoes chili cheese fries with your burger, you will NOT leave hungry!⁰

The service was fantastic! The chili cheese fries were on point and the burger selections are so hard to choose. Finally decided and was not disappointed. Will be back to try the other options!

I recommend the Tejas burger. It came out fresh and was a good sized burger. Beware, as the menu prices are not accurate when ordering. My burger on the menu was $10.69, but after ordering, it came out to be a whopping $14+! No fries, or drink. According to my wife, there was a notice in the store, but I don't think the restaurant is doing enough to let people know in my opinion. Overall, I enjoyed my burger, but not enough to dish out nearly 15$. 3.8/5

Recommend the Tejas BBQ and Guacamole Burgers

I completed the Four Horseman challenge. This burger is HOT. Seriously spicy. I almost tapped out twice. They have the "Wall of Flame" with photos if previous winners. Above the wall is a quote..."Pain is only temporary, but quitting is FOREVER!". Great place.

I truly don't understand the high reviews. This place is so filthy that I am surprised it remains open. The bar is filthy everywhere you look there's dirt and garbage, the bartender was brushing her hair while on duty inside the bar, employees are drinking beer while on work, they come in an out drinking beer and sitting on the tables. As for the food, it was mediocre at best the buns are soggy, the meat has a horrible texture, nobody came to check how we were doing. The person next to us returned her plate because she had a long hair inside her burger. I went inside to check the state of the kitchen and I realized nobody is using hair nets, and it didn't look cleaned either, the bathroom was my last stop, and I literally gagged when I went inside, it's like from a freaking scary movie, filthy, dark, smelly like they haven't cleaned it in years. This place overall should seriously close for cleaning, might as well wait since Halloween is around the corner, the filth and gloomy state of the restaurant is very in with the theme of Halloween right now. As for the owner of this place, I wish John Taffer could come help you, what a loss, employees drinking nonstop your alcohol, getting drunk in front of your eyes and you simply dont care. What a F mess! PS Apparently the place is infested with roaches, do yourself a favor and read reviews before coming here

Hadn't been there in quite awhile, but my dad asked for a good burger, since my dad was put on hospice I want him to get what he wants. And he said the burger was exactly like he wanted. So happy and thank you chunky 's .

This was mine and my wife's favorite burger joint for years. Always been the best burger in town for us. This last time around was very disappointing. Got carry out on Friday 10/06/2023. The quality of the beef was not the same. It looks like you decided to cut corners and buy cheaper ground beef. Cause these last 2 burgers we ordered were terrible. Full of nasty nerves. Nothing worse the biting into a burger and feeling what feels like chewing rubber bands. So if you thought your customers wouldn't notice, your customers noticed the change in quality. Wont be back unfortunately. Service and atmosphere are still great. But low quality food won't do it for me.

First time visiting, and the wifey and I were Very impressed 👌. From the staff to the food, no complaints whatsoever, and will Definitely be back. I had the Mushroom Swiss with added Bacon 🥓 😋, and wifey had the Hamburger 🍔. We started off with the Cheese Sticks and a 6-Piece Lemon Pepper wings, with fries for our side.

The burger had great flavor but was overcooked and dry. I forgot to order it medium rare or medium. The fries were terrible(not homemade) . Onion rings were okay, I don't think they were homemade. Service was great . They were very friendly. I would not recommend this place .

If you ever feel like a good burger outside of normal fast food chains, then Chunky's burgers is where it's at. Great every time we have gone there.

I love Chunky's Burgers!! The taste of a the burger stands on it's own and what I mean is that it certainly can't be compared to any I've had which I call original. I've had the regular Cheese Burger, Bacon Burger, and my personal favorite, the Bean Burger. Been coming to Chunky's for over 10yrs because of the consistency of the food. The staff is super friendly and welcoming.I highly recommend Chunky's for you next great burger experience.

Been a few times. This time was no different. Food is great, service is fast and friendly.. we sat outside and enjoyed the weather. They have connect four, checkers, and Jenga outside to play around with. Outside bay as well. And if your up to the challenge they have a hot burger challenge! I'll definitely be back and invite you to check them out.

I had the avacado cheese burger. It was good with a little salt added. My boyfriend had the bacon cheese burger which he said didn't really have any flavor but over all the experience wasn't bad.

Came to celebrate my nieces graduation and Austin was AMAZING! Couldn’t have asked for better food and colder beer. Outstanding customer service, definitely will be coming back!

Good burgers...pricey but good. Small indoor dining with a HUGE outdoor sitting, so come in a good weather day. Also parking is limited in the front so you can park in the back lot

First and last time I'll get food from here. Ordered 2 of the southwest chicken sandwiches and they didn't put the avocado on both. Ordered garlic parm fries and they ruined it by putting minced garlic on top. I wanted the bottle caps appetizer and they didn't have any. Waste of money. Go somewhere else. Cooks weren't wearing any gloves.

Absolutely amazing burgers that also hold well when being transited from their shop to home or office, even 30 minutes away. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Best burgers I have had in Texas.

My husband and I came for our first time today, enjoyed the live music and outdoor seating since it’s a nice day. The burgers were Delicious,flavorful and the the buns are nice and flaky. Burgers are 5/5 for me. As for the fries & tots nothing special just your average frozen fries, which is disappointing to me as I love fries especially when paired with such a good burger. Staff is very friendly. Order came out fairly quickly. (Side Notes) - cheese is American Swiss BUT you can ask for cheddar -small charge for water - there is a 3.5 credit card processing fee so best to bring cash 🙃

Stopped by for lunch on a warm Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful sunny day so we sat at the outside patio while we waited for our food. The Double Deal is great... two cheeseburgers, a large order of fries and two drinks, plus tip for $25!

Loved the environment, very homey. Food was good. If you’re living the spicy life they have 3 burgers of different spice levels. The four horsemen is not for the weary! We tried it along with chicken tenders. Recommend this place for comfort food with a ma & pop vibe.

My son's made it a tradition to celebrate his birthday here, missed it during COVID but was so happy we got to celebrate his 20th today! Food was GREAT, beers were cold and staff was the BEST. Austin(Dallas 😉) made sure we had everything we needed and Cashier even came out to help when they got super busy. Highly recommend!!
