Chung Hwa in Aberdeen City

Over cooked chicken balls barely enough sauce. We usually enjoy food from here but tonight it was awful.

Chicken fried rice was very dry like it had been sitting and then re-cooked. Didn’t have a nice taste to it either. Chips were very dry and the o.k pork was Luke warm

Food was great and arrived early which was a bonus. Only disappointment was did not receive the free prawn crackers for ordering over £20 but with the exception of that everything was tasty and arrived hot 👍🏻

The customer service was the worst. The lady at the counter could not answer a question without getting really agitated. The food was very mediocre i have had far better chinese before. Did not help that a chinese delivery took over 1 and a half hours to arrive. This was not JustEat. This was the Takeaway - when i called an hour in they had said the takeaway was not ready and will go to the driver when it goes to the driver. Very bad and quite upset about the experience.

Food was cold in some spots as if not mixed thoroughly enough but very quick on delivery

the chow mein was dry,the meat cremated ,noodles were that sticky they were stuck to the top of my mouth. consigned to the bin as wouldn't feed this to a starving animal!

Ordered food at 7pm, still waiting. No reply on phone 2 hours later.no one picking up phone, happy to take phone order, then ignore. Phone rings then cuts off, never ordering from here again , disgusting service if could give 0 I would

Soup taste like like sweet and sour sauce boiled with hot water. Beef pad Thai had no taste at all.

Freezing cold. Disappointed 😴 especially when it was here like 10 minutes after getting the notification it was on its way which tells me it sat in the shop for a while! £30 wasted to be fair. Tasted good as well but couldn’t eat much as was getting hard and thick and just yeah… chips were inedible and chicken was like jelly? 😂🤦‍♂️

The chowmein is nice and the rice - I ordered a crispy duck and pancakes and the portion was very small and cold . alongside most of the meal being cold on arrival . The curry sauce has no flavour and tastes like flour , I have poured this on my rice and noodles and now I just can’t eat it . from leaving the restaurant on the app to getting here delivery didn’t take long so I am unsure as to why it was cold . Little bit disappointed by this as it had such good reviews. Maybe next time it will be better.

Ordered prawn crackers and they never came with the order? The portions were quite small, there was hardly any tofu and just didn't really taste that nice overall.

Arrived early (normally does 👌) corn chicken was the best iv had from them or anywhere. Will always recommend this place

Ordered at 9:35, food arrived at 11:10. Small portions

I ordered chicken curry and chicken and beansprouts in bbq sauce. Chicken curry had no chicken it was like a squishy jelly like substance that tasted disgusting. Very weird shapes too. Then I was very ill. it all got binned. I couldn’t find a company to have whatever it was tested otherwise I would’ve got it looked at. I did get an apology in a text and they admitted it wasn’t chicken yet wouldn’t tell me what it was. They offered me a free meal to say sorry. No thanks I’ll never eat there again. Chicken in bbq sauce? There was no bbq sauce it was all in like a watery substance but at least that was chicken. A total waste of money and we will never be back.

The Soup, Chicken Rolls and Sweet and Sour were good. The chicken fried rice was not great, it was stuck together as if it was overcooked or possibly microwaved. The Salt and Pepper Chicken was a good portion but was strange as it tasted like it had been near a frame I could taste gas. The food is normally amazing so a bit disappointed with this order.

I stopped in to grab some food after some shopping. The customer service was great and friendly. I didn't need to wait too long for my order either. The food tasted great. I had the classic chicken fried rice + curry sauce and chicken rolls. They tasted great, and I will definitely return. I would recommend this place to others.

Jelly-like chicken, fatty ribs and egg fried rice with no egg in sight. Not a fan at all.

As always they provide the best quality and value for money in Aberdeen. I want to marry into the family that owns this place, they are seconded to none!

The lady who takes ur order very abruptly she misses out some off ur order and she says u didn't order u know what u order then speaks over the top off u and she puts the phone down good customer service I don't think

Requested for food to arrive at a set time, food arrived an hour early. Called restaurant who apologised and said they would deliver at the correct time. However food was obviously not recooked as when delivered at the correct time, chips were dry and obviously just reheated ruining the quality.

Spring roll was very good! Seaweed starter was a little chewy, and the "crispy" shredded beef was tasty but also not particularly crispy.

wontons empty for 5£ complete rip-off fried rice for 8£ for 2 slice of dry meat, disappointed price is so high but no quality. will not order again

My partner and I's go-to for a takeaway! We've always found that our order arrives super quickly and been given a wee freebie in with it. Highly recommend the salt and pepper chips, as well as the prawn satay - absolutely delicious. Fantastic food and service, we love it!

Have always loved Chung Hwa, but, last two times have been very disappointed. This time , ribs way over cooked and dry, chicken skewers dry and pork fried rice was awful, hardly any pork at all. Really disappointed again. Won’t be ordering again. Sorry Chung Hwa, Your previous excellent service has been replaced by a shoddy one.

Chicken Balls were over cooked and my daughter found a metal fibre in her noodles like the kind you get in a scouring pad so put us off and food was wasted was only half way through 😡

Food was really good but found a couple of mushrooms even though I stated I was allergic

Always order from chung hwa have done for years foods always fantastic and use the udon noodles and not the rice noodles i rate them highly

Outstanding meal, used this restaurant multiple times now and by far the best food I’ve had from any Chinese takeaway. Highly recommend. Always piping hot and fresh too.
