Christinas Bistro in South Ayrshire

Went to the restaurant as recommended for lunch with friends, and was not disappointed at all. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The environment was relaxing and clean. The food was excellent and at a very reasonable price. Portions were very good and very tasty. If you get a chance to eat at the restaurant. It will be well worth it. Did go into the bar, which is a traditional bar with local Clientele

Pretty much a locals place but good atmosphere.

Been here a few times while visiting Ayr, what an amazing venue and the food is tops, got to watch the soccer as well!

The food was very delicious,especially the dressing with my starter, and there was so much in my main that i couldn't eat it all,which is quite unusual these days to have a 'hearty serving',also delicious and Husband had Steak in Peppercorn sauce, which he managed to eat all of his which he doesn't usually do,as there was so much, but he said it was absolutely delicious. The staff were lovely and friendly and although very busy were attentive too. Neither of us had alcohol but our soft drinks were good,and plenty of ice as the temp on the day was 29°,and the overall atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. It was reasonably priced too and cost us £32 and odd pence for 1 starter 2 'hearty' portion mains and 4 pint of soft drinks. We really enjoyed it and will definately be going back. I highly recommend Christina's Bar and Restaurant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Always great food at a fab price very welcoming

We were staying in Ayr on holiday and found this little pub and the what a lovely little place, the staff are wonderful and very polite. The food served was amazing and the portion sizes were huge left feeling full.

First visit here in a while starters of Haggis fritters and chicken tempura were both good and mains of Breaded haddock and lasagne also very tasty. All in all great value for money.

Nice we pub a lot of locals go to we go there when we go to Ayr and Bar staff are nice chill out place.

Popped in for a quick drink, seen lunch menu, thought give it a try, ordered steak pie, was fantastic, 2 main courses for £12, decided to have a sweet, ordered crumble, was great, was too big for us, tried our best though. Toilets were clean, staff friendly and very helpful. We will be back.

My mother and I go to Ayr about once a month.We found this hidden gem just off the Ayr main street about a year ago .Great friendly service the food was excellent and great value.

Very very dissappointed. Husband had steak pie very chunky meat in a watery gravy.Gammon steak was very thick and like rubber. did complain but feel on deaf ears. Was astounded no trace or protect done no masks being worn. Saw the hand sanituzer on way out..very dissappointed staff and sticky tables .Will never be back

Beautiful surroundings for a luncheon or function. Well priced drinks and really high standard food, a menu to suit all tastes, separate public bar, the lounge is a great wee nook for dining! Enjoy

I was recommended this place from a local taxi driver while on holiday last month. The food is amazingly tasty and very reasonably priced. I am down for the day and told my sister about this place and after our meal she agreed the food was to die for......super tasty and cooked with love! The garlic mushrooms are a must and probably the best i have ever had. Overall the food is great, staff are really friendly and helpful and your meal wont break the bank for good home cooked food. Well worth a visit! X

Well my sister insisted I try this place that she had tried previously from a stranger's recommendation. She was 100% right. Whilst the place is a little old pub style, the food, barmaids, patrons & prices were awesome! The local that advised my sister and I that we needed ID was very sweet too he made us smile! :) The chef deserves special praise as his garlic creamy mushrooms were the 'bees knees', and his bacon and back pudding salad was awesome too! Would highly recommend and will definitely visit on a return trip. Thank you!

Been going here monthly for about a year, I highly reccommend this place for food as it's amazing , the portions are a good size , the prices are great , the staff and really nice

If you like old school pub with top quality meals then this is the place for you! They have a decent chef, wide range menu, nicely priced meals and offers, quality ingredients cooked well, friendly hosts. Loos could do with refurb but they work and they're clean.

Lovely lunch and pleasently staff

Excellent food and friendly staff. Hadn't been in Ayr for a while until recently but have visited the town twice in the past couple of months and eaten at Christina's on both occasions. I first discovered the place many years ago and it's always a pleasure to return there.

Clean basic place .staff were friendly and helpful .meal was a treat if anything I think they are underpriced cant say that about many places

This is a nice pub restaurant. I like the two meals for £10 offer on the menu. They is alot off different food and drink to choose from. The staff is nice.

Go here on a regular basis and have never had a bad meal yet. Chicken and mushroom pie and chicken tempura are my favourites. Place is clean it is old pub decor which adds to the attraction. Staff are lovely! Would have no hesitation in recommending Christina's!

Just got a 6oz Angus burger with bacon and cheese andvuts absolutely magic will be back soon for the great value and large portion and great staff

Was down in Ayr for couple of days & came across this pub on Saturday night, we had great night staff & customers were so friendly would go back in heart beat my fiance was up all night singing in karaoke

Nice old fashioned pub that serves good food at a reasonable. My usual lunch spot when I'm in Ayr.

Went for lunch had chicken tempura even after I dabbed it in napkins was still floating in grease the crumble was not cooked properly all you could taste was flour was really disappointed when I said to waitress she apologized saying we have 2 chefs 1 makes it greasy the others is dry although we both left most of our food still cost best part of £20 I will be back but will check who's cooking the waitress was very helpful and friendly that is why I will give 3 stars

Hi, went on Saturday afternoon, had 2 courses for 7.95, prawn cocktail starter was great, good portion, then steak pie for main, lovely, you can add desert for 2.50, would recommend, great homemade food.

Partner had Sunday roast dinner which he found to be excellent. Home cooked pub food. Good service and value. Recommended.

What a great find doesn't look like much from outside but inside is so warm and welcoming the staff are excellent nothing is to much trouble for them. One of our group is celiac so the waitress told us what was safe for them to eat. We had the sunday roast chicken dinner the steak pie and the burger for dessert we had strawberry cheesecake and profiteroles - every dish was delicious and portions are generous and such a good price £7.95.

Reopened last year under new management. Went for a meal with family. I had a pensioner portion. The starter/ main course /sweet portion were huge. Plenty to chose from the menu. Staff very friendly. Have been back a few times and recieved the same hospitality

I'm always on the lookout for pensioners' deals, and this place was advertising three courses for £7.95, so I thought it was worth a try. I was welcomed and shown to a comfortable seat. I started with lentil soup, which was fine, followed by a nice lasagne. It was on its own with no salad, garnish or chips, but that's fair enough at the price. I would have had the rhubarb crumble with custard as well, but thought that might be too much when I would be eating again in the evening. It was clear that other people of my age had already found this place, and there was a good trade going on. I would certainly go back.

I thought that Christinas Bistro in Ayr should get a mention in TripAdvisor, and can’t understand that not on TripAdvisor’s site, well hopefully it is now.
