3 hours waited for food, phoned few times to which was told was on it way. Last time I phoned I was told there was a mistake they didn’t even put my order through absolute jokes and I’d have to wait another half hour

Very very poor quality of food, and for the price nothing’s justifiable. For the amount of Chinese takeaways you’ll find every single one is better than here, wouldn’t waste my money!!

Worse Chinese ever. My usual one is closed today so ordered this one for me and my partner. 25pound and 3/4s of it is still sitting on the table. Salted chill chicken was basically batter, disgusting batter at that. Chicken wings are like something could throw at the cops, curry tasteless, ribs awful, meat all fatty, chips and chicken balls burnt. Best part was the raw onions in the meal

Ordered the 'mock' chicken only to be sent real chicken 😭 phoned to tell them to be advised (over the phone, despite it being in front of me) that it was mock we'd ordered..we refused to accept this as I've ordered it a few times before. I've only stopped eating animals a few years ago so I definitely knew it was real. They sent a replacement and of course this was completely different and the usual mock meat. I rang to confirm it was chicken they'd sent first and they just said they'd check more in future, but I would hate to think if any of the kids had an allergy or if I hadn't of noticed then everyone eating it 🤢🤢🤢 why something straightforward got so mixed up is very worrying. Definitely not ordering from here again!

Very disappointing ordered the Thai Red curry chicken was processed and tasteless, sauce tasted of nothing,... Best bit was the prawn crackers... Not worth the £17 including delivery for 2 meals

Got a chicken chow mein as soon as i opened it the smell was 'off' meat taste was disgusting rang up told i woukd have to bring it back to get a refund absolute joke will never be back

Ordered for 1st time last night and was the worst take away i ever had, slimy fatty meat (what there was of it) and runny curry 🤢 I think I'll stick to elements in future

The "Salt and Chill Chicken" had no meat what so ever on it pure batter, the curry beef was pure fat. Noodles were nice tho

I would never order from this place again my first and my last it was disgusting salt and chilli beef was like dried up pieces of meat left lying and the special curry the beef in that was jst lumps of fat

Got special curry with noodle's delivered and the CHICKEN was off so rang them back and they sent out another portion and the same Chicken was OFF so I got taxi up to shop with the curry told them all to try and the desk staff did and a lady but the chef didn't I wonder why . They agreed it was discusting. And tried to only give me refund for only the chicken in a special curry even thought I had mixed it with my noodle's .got refund in the end .BUT I WILL NEVER ORDER OR EAT OUT OF THIS PLACE AGAIN YUCK

Nice chinese food but ordered extra portion of think noodles and got thin noodles and smallest portion ive ever saw.come on.noodles are hardly an expensive ingredient .but nice otherwise. Dont order noodles.maje your own

Choys a bit more expensive than some other local Chinese takeaways but I order from them because they use fresh chips (rather than frozen, which I hate). Soooo annoying though that 2 of the last 3 orders I've placed have included frozen chips, which meant the food ended up just going in the bin. Will Def stop me ordering from here again because I'm never sure that I'll get what I think I'm ordering, although generally nice food and fast delivery. Just disappointing when u get something different every time u order :-(

Ordered last week just reviewing now. Food was inedible, the chips and the batter around the chicken where undercooked and the gravy was like tar. I requested a refund and I was told no. Bad food and terrible service.

Ordered tonight for the first time and it will defo be the last. Rang for a delivery and might aswell of been speaking to a brick wall. Had to wait over an hour and when it arrived the order was completely wrong and looked and tasted horrible. Totally recommend not to eat from here. Just terrible

Have been ordering from Choys for over a year. My only gripe with Choys used to be their delivery service, sometimes waiting for over an hour. Tonight I placed my order about half hour after it opened and the order came pretty quick. I have never tasted anything more disgusting, ordered 3 different dishes for me & the children and everything tasted like it had been poisoned in salt. We get the same dishes every week. Had to throw the lot in the bin, £18 put in the bin, such a waste. Will definitely not be ordering from here again!!!!!!

Great food, all the delivery folks are always dead on and friendly, delivery is really speedy. Dont know what all the negative reviews are about, used the place alot and it's always a good experience!

Just started ordering here after our usual had one too many problems, food is tasty from here, portions good and hot, one issue is that delivery longer then stated twice out of three times ordered by at least 20 minutes, although food was hot on arrival

Food arrived very much hot. Tried a meal i'd not had before and loved every bite, sos much so my wife didn't get to try any. :-)

Honey chilli chicken sauce was so watery it turned the chicken batter to mush, gravy was so salty and the fried rice is very very lightly fried. Very fast for delivery, so cant complain about that, never one to leave reviews but I was starving and ended up being so disappointed with the food

Order came to 24.90 delivery driver charged me 26.40 even though he read the price from the docket which is a bit suspicious. I rung the takeaway who confirmed it should have been 24.90. also they advertise 1.5l bottles of juice then deliver 1.25l which at 2.30 a bottle is a bit steep.

This is my new favourite Chinese, the food last night the absolutely delicious!!

Delivery was prompt and earlier than stated. Shredded chicken as expected but streamed rice was overcooked and contained a lot of liquid.

Omg this is a disgrace phoned to see where my delivery was as it was 15 mins late , i had a very rude chinese woman answer my call did not have a clue about the what i was talking about, then she had a check to hang up phone on me , im not happy one bit disgraceful the order still not here and it 18.00 pound i have spend!!!!!

The delivery was quick and the driver polite but the food wasn't the best. Only a few bits of beef in one meal and the chips were very soggy and overdone. Don't think I'll be ordering again unless the food quality improves.

Have been a big fan of Choys for a long time now and tonight I got a Thai red curry. It was alright but not a real Thai Red curry in my eyes. Peas don't belong in it. The sticking point for me was the carton of Thai Red curry that was their normal curry with a spoonful or two of the Thai stuff put into it. Absolutely ruined the dish and just give me a bad impression of an amazing place that I used to love.

Salted chilli king prawn starter was very poor. Certainly not king sized prawns but with extra layers of crispy, hard, batter to make up for the lack of prawn size. I have had these quite often with no problem before so I was extremely dissatisfied with the meal.

the delivery was very late - took over an hour and a half to arrive. I did phone to ask about it, the person who answered the phone hung up on me and I had to call back again. I was then told that my delivery had already left the shop. it did not arrive for 25 mins and then as I suspected the food was cold. The delivery driver was very nice however and apologised for the delay. Due to the attitude of the chinese lady on the phone I didn't call back to complain as I don't think it would have got me anywhere and I may have ended up being rude. Definitely will not be using them again.

As usual, great food, and huge portions, unfortunately, they forgot my bbq ribs..... Still have a craving for them... 😁

I never recieved my order what is going on

The most oily take away we've ever had. It was a shame as the ingredients are fresh and would have been tasty. However one of the dishes had as much oil as sauce (you can literally see it separated). Even the noodles were swimming in oil. Another note, the dishes are not at the same as described in the menu.

Never arrived so I cancelled it.

Arrived 1 hour late, delivery was an extra 50p more than expected, diet coke was delivered rather than coke so I sent it back, chips looked like they had been fried several times, this is the worst Chinese food I have tasted and has actually put me off deliveries, will defo not be ordering from here again

the delivery took over an hour to come and it said on the page 11.90 + the price for a dip and when the delivery came it had an extra 2.20£ added on to it! Disappointed!

I quite regularly get from here. But last night was the last. I recieved beef n black bean sauce which wud b normally what i get and it was pure fat and gristle no meat at all. I proceded to post a review on just eat as this is where i order from and it wasnt posted. I gave 1 star for food and 1 for delivery (which took approx 12 minutes). I now know why it was so quick food was absolutley awful last nyt. Re evaluating my chinese takeaway. I feel that the shudve posted my comment as its not truely fair on the customer.

Food was nice, however they didn't read the notes and gave me a sweetcorn soup instead of a noodle soup also.

Very fast service, food top quality. Is now my local for chinese food.

Very fast delivery but the food quality has seriously went down hill here. Used to be my favourite Chinese. Ordered honey chilli chicken and it was like jellied eels with the outside being gloopy etc. Had to throw most out and it's not a cheap Chinese. Won't be ordering again

Best Chinese, by far better than the one across the road. This Chinese does great deals for just £5 or less- which are so filling! as well as the massive variety on the menu. The food is declious, chefs really know what they're doing hope they don't change the recipe of anything. Recommend they're sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style -excellent👌🏼 always call in when I'm in the area

Very disappointing meal-the quality of the meat changed substantially since our last order and the chow mein had little or no satay sauce.

Waited 2 hours on meal last nite. When it arrived chicken balls were soggy and stone cold. Fried rice had congelled into a ball. Ribs were rock hard and saice had hardened over the top of them. I order regularly from choys but never again. Im disgusted £17 put in the bin. Food horrible.

Really tasty. One of the nicest Chinese meals we have had in a long time! Portion sizes are good too, not too big.

15 minutes from order accepted to knock on the door. Excellent food. Love the chips. Very generous portions of chicken breast. Highly recommend
