Chopstix in Dundee City

I was working in the centre of town so decided to order some Chopstix through just eat. For 2 people I ordered 2 boxes both chicken and some sides of chicken balls. A total of £27. I thought this was a bit expensive then thought I’d maybe ordered too much. It came. It was Luke warm and in each box there was 5 bits of chicken. The noodles also looked old and very dry. Steer clear of here

This was my first time at chopsticks and was fairly optimistic given there was a queue but I was really disappointed in the poor quality of the food. I had a small box, the fried rice was dry and tasted burnt, I opted for lemon chicken which was so dry and there was no sauce. Certainly won’t be back and the majority of it went in the bin

Food was absolutely disgusting. Got noodles, rice, lemon chicken and s&p chicken in my box. Lemon chicken tasted like cleaning products and the S&P Chicken was rubbery. Food was that awful i ended up in Nine-wells with severe food poisoning and a fever. Also spewing blood due to it! Don’t ever go to chopsticks. Disgusting

First visit in a few years and won’t be going back for many more. Took my granddaughter aged 9 and we were both disappointed. Service was abysmal. Choice was worse. No fried rice and only chicken in two or three sauces. Spring rolls were very dry. Obviously been sitting there for a while. I asked the server if that was it, meaning the choice. Yup. I was told. They are supposed to be open until 8pm and this was the back of five. Anyhoo I got barbecue chicken with noodles and the aforementioned spring rolls. The noodles weren’t very hot and the chicken had the consistency of rubber. Spring rolls were dried out. Both of us were disappointed. Worst £10 I’ve spent in a while.

The staff were great and the environment was friendly. The food was delicious and lots of choice available.

Called in here for a quick meal early last night. We both had duck dishes which were excellent. The decor was ordinary but the food easily compensated for that. We will go again soon.

Take away order. We ordered for a Saturday night meal, waited for an hour and phone to see where our food was, it had in fact been delivered to someone else. My friend had to go an collect the food, by this time it was 9pm and i did not wish to eat so late as was working the next day. When we got the food i habe to say it was awful. It was like it had been reheated. The beef looked awful, the sauce was runny an oily. We got no compensation for out delayed order. Will not be back

Ordered Prawn toast and spring rolls to start with. Prawn toast was thick, soggy and tasteless, spring roll was doughy and more like a white pudding supper sausage than a spring roll. Disgusting. Gave mains a try. Chicken satay and beef satay. Chicken was not chicken! It had a soft almost chicken substitute feel and utterly tasteless! Had a jelly like feel. Yuck. Couldn't finish it and left me feeling ill. The beef satay was the same in the meat department and utterly disgusting and could finish either. The (usually straight forward) boiled rice was dry and just about warm. The egg fried rice was a brown rice mush. Will never order from here again and a complete. Waste of money (too expensive for the awful meal we had).

We’ve being going to chopsticks for years but recently there’s always something wrong with our order and trying to get money back or a meal free with your next order is like trying to get blood out a stone! This time they forgot rice with my meal and yet again the food is over fried! The £10 starter platter wasn’t even touched! Sort your s##t out!!

Just ordered. That was the worst quality chicken...stringy...tough...vile...put the lot straight in bin.. awfull place...spring roll..heavy batter.. really...this place is a disgrace

Just ordered a delivery and wanted to review straight away as it was the best Chinese iv had in ages! Salt and pepper chicken, my favourite but often so hit or miss iv found in Dundee but this was perfect, called to ask for special dietry requirement and lady was really friendly, order also arrived really quickly which was nice. Our new go to, highly recommend!

We go to Chopstix at least twice a month and love it. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Food is great and very reasonable. It is sometimes quite quiet but we like it like that. It's popular for takeaways. Nice wine too

Have been to this place three times now, and it's my go to for whenever I want to have a nice meal with friends. The servers are always amazing polite and pleasant. You get a three-course meal for £10.99. Which in my opinion is a bargain! The food arrives promptly, is mouthwatering, delicious, tastes amazing and wonderful to look at. The portion sizes are massive for the price. And the alcohol prices are cheap compared to what most restaurants would make you cough up. Please don't believe the negative reviews, it seems to me like they went to a different restaurant. Go there with your friends, you won't regret it.

First visit today to Chopstix, Dundee, was very impressed, food was excellent and staff very efficient and friendly, had rice with beef and sweet and sour chicken, it was wonderful, it was our first visit but it will definitely not be our last.

Outstanding 3 course meal had at chopstix. Very reasonably priced. Nothing was too much trouble for the gentleman server. Would highly recommend sitting in and having a meal at chopstix.
