Chopsticks in Arun

This is frustrating as the food is great but the length of time it takes to deliver is completely unacceptable. We are currently waiting on an order we placed 1.5 hours ago. This is not ok. This is also not the first time. Seriously guys…. Sort it out! It’s not ok!

Fabulous! Everything was perfect and delicious. Tried some different dishes and they didn't disappoint!

Just spent £27 on 2 pancake rolls, 2 special curries and 1 egg fried rice. Although this wa delivered on time it did not have any free prawn crackers as many takeaways do. It was also absolutely disgusting. The pancake rolls which were £3.25 each were greasy, over deep fried and empty of anything but bean sprouts and about 2 shrimp. The curry was really bad. I could not eat it and had to throw it away. It was dark brown and tasteless. The only positive was the beef was tender. So disappointed to spend so much and for it to be so terrible. Will not go there again and will not recommend it either

First time I've ever ordered takeaway from here, and I'm very impressed. Asked for the hot and sour soup and Singapore noodles to be extra extra hot (i love spicy food) and usually when i ask for dishes to be extra hot from asian restaurants or takeaways it's usually just a "few extra chillies thrown in" whereas i like my food to be VERY VERY AUTHENTICALLY SPICY. Like burning your mouth off spicy. my food arrived, the driver was very lovely and chatty and my dishes were VERY HOT AND SPICY! and very flavoursome too. Very impressed for a Friday night considering they were very busy. Will deffo be dining in with my partner. Good portions too. Very happy. 10/10!!

Unfortunately due to COVID-19 Chopsticks has reduced to take away service but I’d like to eat in. Very good covid precautions, a fairly long wait due to fresh food being prepared. Drinks available while you wait. The food was excellent. I tried lemon chicken, beef in black bean sauce, chicken balls in sweet and sour, crispy shredded beef and egg fried rice. All very good. One of our party was allergic to shellfish so the restaurant marked all the packages with anything in, and we were able to ask about ingredients. Service from the lady front of house was friendly, and efficient. As I say quite a long wait but not a problem when you know food will be fresh and tasty at the end of it! Recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area. Worth travelling in a bit I’d say. The decor of the restaurant was very nice.

We visited Chopsticks for a takeaway birthday meal and the food was delightful. It was fresh and flavoursome and like a previous review said, healthy to a degree (not overly greasy). We enjoyed the food so much that we will definitely be visiting again. Oh, the staff are very friendly also!

Went there last night, this is our fourth visit since we used it in August, and I have to say the food and service are excellent. I have eaten Chines food since the mid sixties and I think this ranks up there with the best of them, Very friendly staff. will definitely be back. Covid rules are also stuck to

Great food and service. We fancied a Chinese meal and had not been here before. Looking on TripAdvisor the reviews were very good so we thought we would give it a try and it certainly did not disappoint. On arrival track and trace and hand sanitiser were at the front door. There was a warm welcome from the staff. We both had spare ribs as a starter and they were delicious. For mains we had Wandering Dragon and Kung Po Beef. They were both delicious and the vegetables tasted fresh and beautifully cooked. The portion sizes were good. Service very good. We will definitely be coming back.

We went to chopsticks on Sunday the 6 th September and had a delicious meal ,the staff and service was excellent,would definitely recommend,hope to go back before we leave Littlehampton.😀

Lovely family meal for my son's birthday. We have not visited here before as we normally go to one closer to home but it was fully booked. I am so glad they were fully booked otherwise we would never have tried this one. The staff are lovely and I felt so sorry for them having to wear masks and visors but everything was immaculate. They use normal menus but they were cleaning every page after use, we felt very safe eating there. And the food was delicious. It will definitely be our first choice in future. Thank you for a lovely meal.

I have tried a lot of local Chinese establishments (Imperial China, Worthing, The Dragon, East Preston, China Palace, Worthing, and many, many more) but I have to say this is the first Chinese that I have had that felt wholesome and someone healthy. The food was delicious, it wasn’t overly fatty/ greasy and every dish tasted unique. Truly wonderful Chinese and brilliant service. A must visit!

Having never been to this establishment before I was somewhat apprehensive but my fears were quickly allayed the moment we entered the restaurant. The staff were polite and welcoming and the food excellent. We tried the set menu for four people and there was more than we could eat. This proved to be great value for money.

After waiting over 2 hours for delivery received chicken balls not cooked properly. Kids had already started eating as served them first. After driving down to restaurant and showing them they refused to give a partial refund even though meat was pink. They stated was against their policy and when asked for copy of policy the gentleman pointed to his head and said policy was all in there had no proof

This is a great little restaurant. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is great and reasonably priced. Booking is recommended at the weekends.

I didn’t eat in this restaurant just got a takeaway delivery, the taste was quite good portion size was on the small size and delivery charge was a bit pricey, I live exactly 3 miles away which should be £1.50 but I think I was charged £4 so I didn’t leave a tip. And didn’t get any prawn crackers or fortune cookies which is the norm with most places when you spend quite a lot of money.

This is a very good unpretentious high street Chinese restaurant. Very friendly waitress and service quick. To start I had hot and sour soup which is a good indicator of the quality of the food in general. I was a little concerned when it arrived to see how pale it was but that didn’t matter as it was very tasty with good heat and packed with thinly sliced vegetables, small pieces of pork and small prawns. Great flavour. The main of prawns with fresh ginger and spring onions was exactly as it should be. Generous helping of plump prawns, al dente spring onions and fresh ginger. Again very tasty accompanied by perfectly cooked steamed rice. Judging by other reviews I can only assume the rest of the menu is of similar quality and so I’d happily come back if in this neck of the woods again.

Having tried to book our usual restaurant for a Chinese and told it was fully booked , I was at a loss so having found this restaurant on trip advisor decided to give it a go.

This is one of the absolute best Chinese I have visited, in my top TWO for sure. The tastes and flavours here are so different, incredible, delicious. We had chose our usual favourites - hors d'oeuvres to start, with seaweed of course and two mains with singapore fried rice. Well the sauce that came with the spare ribs was truly delicious, the seaweed amongst the best I've ever had, the mains were equally flavour driven and the rice fabulous. THIS PLACE IS A MUST VISIT time and time again.

We went on a Monday night so it was quiet but we were warmly welcomed and every effort was made to make my disabled daughter included and comfortable. The people are very kind but the food .. is AMAZING! Really impressive and we are every bite. Try the chilli and garlic prawns - delicious. We'll be back for sure.

Looked on trip advisor for a good Chinese restaurant near us and Chopsticks sounded nice. Very happy with our choice and tasty food! Perfect choice for a perfect meal.

Due to holiday closure of our usual Chinese takeaway, we decided to give this one a try. The menu was comprehensive and reasonably priced. We selected a range of dishes which appeared very similar to those we usually obtain elsewhere. We were so disappointed - the seasoning was unbalanced and the food tasted extremely bland and unlike any other Chinese food we have eaten before. The packing was not secure so the pot of sauce and one container both leaked. Furthermore, we, as usual, put the food into a sealed cool box (obviously without ice blocks!) for a 10 minute drive home but then found that the food was only luke-warm. Overall very disappointing.

We have used this restaurant to eat in and have a take away from. The food is always the same, quality, fresh ingredients and delicious sauces.

I ordered a takeaway from here and was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and by the ambience of the restaurant when I collected my order. Chicken and mushroom soup was full of meat and mushrooms in a quite heady, tasty bouillon. The crispy pancake roll was again packed full of goodness and very flavoursome, as well as of generous proportions. Very little grease - thank goodness. The chicken with cashewnut was again quite delicious, with generous vegetables as well as a good amount of chicken. Who needs rice? Big plus - the food was hot, even after a ten-minute walk. This seems to me a really good place to eat or to take away from. It is slightly more expensive than the norm, but the food is excellent. Shall definitely revisit.

Some 20 of us visited Chopsticks and experienced a superb lunch, with great service. Despite our number, the food was hot and tasty. The type of Restaurant I would happily go to on my own, as the staff were so welcoming and friendly.

Thought we would try the restaurant as there are not many Chinese restaurants locally. What a wonderful surprise - warm, friendly service with no rush to hurry you on a Friday night. Starter sharing platter was disappointing as everything was fried, but main courses were excellent and the noodles the best ever !

We were delighted to have found such a lovely restaurant when visting Littlehampton. The welcome was very friendly, the service and food were excellent and the prices were very reasonable. This restaurant is definitely well worth a visit.

Still serving some of te best Chinese food in the area. I have been to Arundel, Bognor Regis, Worth and Shoreham to look for a good Chinese Restaurant and here it is on my doorstep. Always excellent.

First time of us visiting this restaurant so we were unsure of what to expect. The customer service was great - attentive but no pressures. The food was beautiful and plentiful and the restaurant itself was authentic with a lovely ambience. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return here.

We usually go to The Dragon in Rustington but have heard bad reviews there lately and it was fully booked so we decided to try Chopsticks and what a fantastic experience that was!

Called in this restaurant after finding it on Trip Advisor and reading recommendations. We were nor disappointed. Greeted with a warm welcome and promptly served - although it was very quiet on the Monday evening we visited. Decor is a little understated, but that is more to my taste that several Chinese restaurants I've been to in the past.

Visited for lunch today whilst visiting family. This is the second time I have been to this lovely little restaurant. Had 2 course special and not disappointed. Food excellent and cheap staff friendly and helpful. A real find and well worth a visit will be hard to beat on price and value for money.

So I had organized a christmas meal with my friends ( 8 people ) and I had asked to do indavial billing which was a MASSIVE help to me so 10/10 for that. The food was lovely and didnt take long. Normally someone whouldnt have had a problem with something but nope. Everything was great. The owner and staff made us feel welcomed and we had a blasted. Thank you for making our christmas meal great 10/10.

Went here with a couple of friends, am sorry to say that the food was really bland (even hough I had ordered a dish that said it was "spicy). The chicken didn't taste like real meat, was all the same size and rubbery. The meal was rushed and the staff were surly. Won't be going again - very disappointing.

We visited one Friday night, we were going to get a takeaway but decided to eat in as there were plenty of tables.The place is quite bare with not much atmosphere and the choice of drinks is limited. The staff are pleasant but it is obvious that the focus is on the delivered takeaway service not really on the restaurant itself. The food, when it arrived, was ok, standard takeaway nothing memorable.Next time we fancy Chinese food we may have a takeaway from here but won't be bothering visiting the restaurant itself.

My friends and I had a lovely meal here. Lots of great choices and the staff are really friendly. We had two set menus and we were able to change a few items that we weren't keen on. Very generous portions too. Well worth a visit.

We had another lovely meal the starters of satay chicken and spring rolls were the best ever piping hot and so tasty.My sake arrived warmed in a jug just like it should be many places serve this wine cold.My prawns with spring onions and ginger was standardMy husband who has just returned from china commented that his king po chicken was rather on the mild side to what he was expecting.For me the best part of the meal were the Banana Fritters the batter was so crisp and again piping hot.The service is extra good here .......super clean and I love the paper dragons on the ceiling.Now my main gripe.......Half way thru our meal a group of Chinese people sat down on a table not too far from us.... it was obvious they were staff..... The lady owner was also present when the two delivery drivers arrived back an English man and women the women almost done a curtsey to the lady owner. The Chinese then proceeded to have a tradition Chinese meal ...... conversation became very loud a Staff meeting it seemed was also taking place.This I found a distraction and feel such meals and meetings should be held in private not in full view of paying guests because of this I've only given a rating of 4.

We had dinner here a while back, it was lovely. Quick service, hot fresh food, friendly staff and generous servings. The tables were close together but ghe restaurant is small anyway. Well worth a visit!

I have never been disappointed in the quality and quantity of the food on offer here. I have never used the Restaurant since it has been open as time and location have been in the way but - am planning a family visit in the very near future. ( looking forward to it ) The food delivered from Chopsticks has always been pipping hot, delivered by a friendly well presented driver. If your planning on dinner delivered to your door and fancy Chinese, you can't go wrong here. The only Chinese I will use in this area !!!.

I've lunched in here several times and always found the food to be very tasty and a good price. Also the lady in charge is very friendly and helpful. I love that they also do takeaway so on occasions that I've not been able to eat in I've been able to take it home and still have a delicious lunch. I have also eaten there in the evenings on 2 or 3 occasions and although it seems very quiet, which is a shame,we have still enjoyed delicious food and excellent service. Would recommend this restaurant

We went here after booking a 20:00 table for my wife's birthday.The restaurant was full but our table was safely reserved.We were not pressurised to order and a review of the menu showed an extremely comprehensive selection available.We had an excellent tasty meal with a nice Rose wine to accompany it.The staff were very friendly and not afraid to stop and chat. Highly recommended if you are in the area and I am sure the take away would be if equal high standard.

We decided to try Chopsticks on Saturday evening. The food was very tasty. We were impressed with the lovely crispy aromatic duck, the king prawns with cashews and the 'crispy fried shreds of beef'. All dishes were superb, not too sweet unlike many restaurants. Service was great, we were well looked after and not rushed. Highly recommended.

Well I love Chinese food and have traveled all over China and eaten well. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this place in Littlehampton it's served really good honest food at great prices. Lucky locals this is a real gem.

Another great meal at Chopsticks the staff are very welcoming and polite can't do enough for you and always go that extra mile to give you something special. Food is well cooked and not typical Chinese food full of msg it just seems fresher and tastier. Will be returning.

As soon as you enter this restaurant you feel at home, friendly and welcoming staff who are attentive and efficient. we have been here on several occasions and the food is always excellent the choice is very good and you are served very quickly. It is also nice to have a restaurant with modern and very clean toilets. I thought that the prices were also very reasonable on a whole I would highly recommend Chopsticks and would rate it 5 Star......

Thought we would visit here again as not been for a few years but were told it is still good. We were welcomed by friendly staff and our table was reserved for us. The tables are quite spacious and you are not cramped in like other restaurants, so that was a good start. The waiter came over and asked if we wanted drinks within a few minutes, and the menus were already on the table. We were a party of 5 on our usual monthly meal out around the LA area. The drink prices seemed reasonable, although only Becks lager was the only draught, but they had quite a few bottled lagers. We all chose our meals and extras like you do and it was not too long before our meals were on their way out. There was BBQ ribs which were lovely and fell off the bone. Also we had sweet and sour chicken balls, prawn chop suey, duck pancakes, sze-chuan style beef, and lamb pancakes for main meals, and we all thoroughly enjoyed them. Good size portions for medium eaters I would say, but not massive. We had a couple of side dishes and that was enough. We only had 1 dessert and that was the lemon ice cream with limoncello in and topped with meringue, that was really tasty and a great palette cleanser. Overall our experience here was really enjoyable and the service was very good. Having said that it fairly quiet for diners eating in, but busy for take aways, The bill was reasonable.

We have been looking for a "sit down" Chinese restaurant in this area since we moved to this area 6 years ago...We have found it... We visited last night for the first time, the restaurant, the service and the food were great and we had an enjoyable evening.Do not judge this restaurant by the road in is situated in..judge it by the food which was fantastic. We will be visiting again very soon.

we arrived very late on a Saturday night after walking out of another restaurantChopsticks were on the point of closing but when we explained why we had arrived so late they checked with the kitchen and said it would be ok to sit down and eat.They couldn't of been more accommodating the meal itself( we only had mains) of a beef curry and lemon chicken were freshly cooked hot and very very tasty. Couldn't fault anything we will return for a 3 course meal very soonthe whole place has a very peaceful charm is spotless and clean and the Chinese decorations makes the restaurant look rather special. My first visit to Chopsticks. Went there to celebrate nephews 18th birthday with 5 other people. Excellent service, nice relaxed informal atmosphere (it was spur of the moment decision so we had not booked or dressed up for the occasion). Food was tasty and really enjoyable would definitely go back. Loved the crispy duck. Everything lovely.Very reasonable price too just under £120 for three courses for 6 people and three rounds of drinks..

Going to give another good review for this restaurant who continuously give very good service and excellent food, the staff are always happy and the restaurant is spotlessly clean, really enjoy going there!!

This is totally Chinese not Thai. Had a super meal with very attentive and personal service. Portions good size and clearly use top quality ingredients. All in all could not fault. Excellent selection of high bottles and draught lagers too.

We were are group of four and ordered the set meal. It was terrific value and the food kept on coming, and coming! Thankfully another friend turned up to help us eat this lovely feast!

The quality of food is excellent, try some of their specials, the staff are always very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the toilets are absolutely spotless.We would certainly highly recommend to try.

What a really pleasant surprise, a decent Chinese Restaurant with great Staff and really good food. There is definitely a lack of decent Chinese Restaurants in this area and this one restores my faith in finding one, most of the other reviews give you basic details and I would recommend this restaurant to lovers of Chinese food and also to newcomers to the cuisine. The staff will explain anything about the menu and help with all questions. Gets a bit busy at weekends, which is great but is really good to go midweek. Really pleasantly surprised by the cost of their very drinkable house wines and all the others did not have the mark up that most places think they can charge you and expect you to leave happy after paying nearly a 200% mark up. Well done Chopsticks we will return very soon now that we have found you.

A group of 10 of us booked and the restaurant easily accommodated us. They explained the menu well and their recommendations were excellent. Reasonable value although the drinks were on the pricey side but a good wine selection. We have been back and would again which is the best summary really!

I came here as I was working in Littlehampton. Littlehampton isn't blessed with an amazing array of eateries so I wasn't too hopeful... But to be fair, it was a pleasant surprise.The choice of food wasn't amazing, but I doubt they get much call for extravagant meals here...? I'm being critical of Littlehampton, far from it, I loved working here. The food was tasty and really well cooked. I had salt and pepper spicy squid which was on the specials board and not in the menu. Surely this should be in the menu...?It was lovely, not at all greasy.Egg fried rice on the side, a child size portion... Hmm a bit stingy! A decent selection of decently priced beer too.There was an old, partially disabled lady in at the same time, and the service they gave her was amazing. So caring. Clearly, they are decent people.Gotta say, I've eaten in some amazing Chinese restaurants.im not being big-headed, my point is quite simply, maybe I'm spoilt. My best friend since school is Chinese and from a traditional Chinese family. So I grew up eating the cuisine. This place doesn't quite reach some of the standards, but I do HIGHLY recommend it as good honest Chinese food, well cooked, with lovely lovely people working here...

First time here last night it was a lovely restaurant with very good food and they accommodated my dietary needs, the staff are very nice and the restaurant is lovely inside, I can really recommend a visit here and we will be returning!!

For one reason or another we have not been back to this restaurant since June which we regret.We thought it was fantastic then and it has not changed even better.The staff are so nice and friendly,nothing seems a problem they attend you with politeness and a warm smile.The restaurant is warm smart relaxed and very clean including the toilets and kitchen.I did ask to see the kitchen it looks brand new gleaming,the kitchen staff had smart clean uniforms and hats on.I don't think I have seen a professional kitchen that clean and tidy on a Saturday evening ever.The price for the meal was fair for the good quality food we eat.We had the set meal for two,it was delicious,it was different from the meal we had on our last visit but just as delicious if not more.Thank you for such a happy time.Thank you for reading my review,hope you will try this restaurant to see for yourself how good it is.

Just home after having a really enjoyable meal in this lovely Chinese restaurant. The service and food was excellent,portions were super.Highly recommend best Chinese we have eaten in a long time. If your in town try Beach road,you wont be disappointed.

We ate here recently after a tiring weekend at the goodwood revival. The food was delicious and great size portions too. The lady who served us was really friendly and gave us some tips on where to visit during our stay. Would recommend!

I went to this restaurant while staying in Littlehampton with family. We chose this restaurant as we all like Chinese food and we weren't disappointed. Our group included 2 teenage boys who found the portion size filled even them- which is unusual in most restaurants. It was very busy but staff found us a table and they were all very helpful and friendly.

Attracted by the notion of two-course lunch for £6.00, I was graciously welcomed.It is a pleasing and clean-looking establishment. It wasn't busy, (is that a good sign?)Starter was pancake roll. Do not make the same mistake as I did, thinking it would be a few delicate spring rolls. It's a single deep-fried, greasy-looking, battered wrap of the usual ingredients: shredded chicken, prawns and a surfeit of bean-sprouts. Undeterred by the unimaginative presentation, I liberally smothered it with soy sauce and attacked with knife & fork ... hmmm ... not bad at all!Then came the sweet and sour chicken with boiled rice. Much more eye-friendly, and an adequate portion for lunch. Tasty, but the sauce was ever-so slightly glutinous.The service was rapid and courteous.The Chinese beer, (Tsingtao,) is rather good.Average food, but great value.I'd go there for lunch again.(In spite of the restaurant's name, there wasn't a single chopstick in evidence, nor offered, but you could not have attacked that pancake roll without a knife and fork!)

Popped in for some lunch on the spur of the moment, their £6 menu was great value and delicious, I will have to try the full menu next time. Really really good.

Never been disappointed with a meal from Chopsticks. Always lovely. Staff are very friendly, and they deliver too!

A very pleasant tasty meal served up by two really nice and friendly waitresses.The meal was hot and full of flavour.The price was very fair.The restaurant was clean and welcoming.Will be going back many more times hopefully.Thank you.
