We had the chicken enchiladas. The chicken was fresh and delicious and Gregory gave us excellent service. We both drank water, and it was a treat to have a whole bottle of cold water. We never had to ask for refills.

I can't stress this enough, don't come here if you want to have a half decent meal out. After waiting around 40 minutes for our meal, we discovered most of it was cold. I had the Southern Fried Chicken and pulled pork, the latter of which was dry and flavourless, and I have had better chicken from Mcdonalds... My partner had the seabass which came with "seasoned brocoli and roast potatoes"... What came was a gigantic bushel of boiled bland brocoli and obviously pre-boiled then lightly grilled potatoes (which also had zero flavour).

Very helpful and courteous staff. Breakfast cooked to order was excellent. A member of our party required gluten-free so chose the main menu item of chilli and rice as there were no gluten-free options on the breakfast menu. Was assured Chiquito's would take steps to remedy this asap.

Visited here with friends before going to the pictures. Nice food but nearly got served a chimichanga instead of an enchilada. We also got a couple of side orders to share. Somewhat disappointing as they were not at all warm. When we tried to pay the bill, had to wait ages to be attended to.

Popped in for some tea with the kids after the cinema as i knew I could eat the Chilli whilst following Slimming World, only 1 member of staff serving and to be fair he did an excellent job, gave us extra time to order and drinks were brought promptly.

Visited here on Saturday night, even though the restaurant was busy service was quick and food was of a high standard. Our server Jze went above and beyond to ensure all out needs where met. Restaurant offers good deals even on the weekend. We will return and recommend to our friends

My friend and I came in after work and it was the perfect way to relax. Our two servers Euan and Emma were so friendly and helpful and always on hand incase we needed anything they also had great banter with us and made it a memorable experience. They are a great representation of the company.Will definitely be coming back!!

This is the second time I've been to this Chiquito and I have only had amazing service! This time there was an issue with my food and the service exceeded all my expectations! Euan was so lovely and made the experience more fun. Him and Emma made sure we didn't have any more problems with our food and we had a laugh about it together. They often came over to check on us but it was never pestering and always welcome. Will definitely recommend to everyone!

Amazing service from a friendly and cheerful lad called Gregor! He really made us feel welcome from the minute we entered the restaurant and made the meal a lot more enjoyable with his pleasant manner.

Me and my boyfriend decided to celebrate my bday together at Chiquito and we were more than satisfied with the service! Once we came inside, we were welcomed by the lovely girl who served us. Iza helped me through the menu, explaining and advising me through out the process. She was very positive, always kept smiling, and we felt more than happy to have even a little chat with her! Very pleasant place with beautiful interior design. Food was very delicious! Homemade tortillas and great spicy burrito were the best one I ever tried! Overall, for a lovely bday dinner I was more than happy! Great food and amazing service is what I always value at any restaurant!

We went for breakfast here on Tuesday. The food was great, as was the service.There were also good options available for my 3 yr old brother and sister on the menu, which is not always the case elsewhere.

The food and atmosphere is lovely. The staff are great and best place to eat in union square, my favourite place. Sometimes can be a bit noisy with loud music.

New breakfast service at chiquitos. Although the manager warned us at the start this was a new service for this restaurant and can we bear with them, all the staff were really helpful and friendly and coped well given there was 9 of us. All the food was great.

Visited Chiquito on my wife's birthday for lunch. The wait time for a table was minimal and we were attended to quickly once we had settled in to the booth we were shown to. The food arrived very promptly and was found to be plentiful, hot and very tasty. In addition, the service was excellent. Our waiting staff were very attentive and responsive to any of our needs. To finish, I think it must have been the Manager, dropped by our table to enquire if everything was satisfactory during our visit. I will state that it was and we will be back

Esto se rectificó, sin embargo, la tortilla en sí era seca y pequeña, considerando que el precio era solo ligeramente inferior a mi desayuno completo. El servicio también era lento. Si estás buscando un brekkie de buena calidad en Union Square, evita este lugar y prueba una alternativa como Brewdog, ¡cuyo desayuno vimos después y se veía fantástico!

We came here as it is close to the station We were just planning on leaving after having been seated and waiting 15 mins before another member of staff spoke to us (or looked up at all) but we persevered. The drinks arrived and the waitress wiped the side of the glass up to the rim with her finger as she put one of the drinks down, which off-putting. The food was fine, but wasn't hot when it got to us. Again trying to get anyones attention for the bill was impossible. They do advertise an app you can use to pay and I'm not sure if this is due to the shortcomings of the staff or the staff don't bother with customers becuase of the app. There are so many other restaurants near by that I wouldn't be back.

We had lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It is some time since I have eaten in a Mexican Restaurant and was not disappointed. There is most certainly a variety of choice on the Menu......almost too hard to select. We were shown to our Booth as we arrived and drinks order taken. We were not rushed (big menu!), and changing mid order was not a problem to the young lady!!!!! The staff are efficient and friendly with no rush placed on you. The helpings are substantial and the tables are clean. Mexican themed, the place is on the first floor and easy access. Finishing up with Churros and a coffee was first class. I enjoyed the Fajitas but unfortunately cannot recall the other orders. Would not hesitate to return and would strongly recommend.

Went here with freinds for a big breakfast! Wasn't disappointed. Had a full breakfast. All the trimmings. Was very good. Our waiter was also very nice and very helpful. Will be back.

I thought that the service was fantastic last week when I was at Chiquito's. Our waitress was very friendly and offered some great advice with what to order. She also was very efficient and also super funny.

The food was as standard from a Chiquito and can tell it is a chain restaurant. The waitress was very attentive and accommodated all our needs without question, I visited on a Monday evening and the speed of service was great for the level of trade.

I went here with my toddler and a friend for the VIP Evening. The chimichanga from the set menu was amazing and I couldn't finish it, so I got a doggy bag to bring home with me. The churros (dessert) were really nice as well. As for my toddler, the kids menu was great since there was a choice of small or big kids meal where a main course, a side of your choice, dessert and drink were included in the price. Service was fast and the mocktails were great too, the kids meal was brought out almost immediately however we had to wait slightly longer for our meals.

One of my favourite places to dine, the evening was really enjoyable and lots of lovely food. Great portion sizes and good value for money. I’ve never actually tried the set menu before but definitely another option for my next visit. Staff always really helpful and attentive. Glad to see the store so busy.

We were greeted very warmly by a lovely blonde haired tall guy with glasses (unfortunately didn’t get his name) he then proceeded to take our order and provided amazing service. The food is fabulous plus the service we received was exquisite will definitely be coming back! Deffo shout out to our waiter though he made the experience great

We visited Chiquito this evening and enjoyed great food with a fun atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and cheery and we were offered a delicious mango and passionfruit cocktail to sample. All in all a great restaurant with excellent staff. Well done everyone!

Totally fab food, chicken fajitas and chicken enchiladas was scrumptious. Was hot and very tasty. Fab pornstar and woo woo cocktails, great service. Nothing was too much for any of the staff.

Diabolical! I was just about to get up and leave when my main was served. Expecting the chef to have put extra time into my meal, I dug in anxiously, only to discover that the chef must have left my order on the hot plate for 45 minutes. Either that or he was waiting until he had enough scrapings tho put my order together. Absolutely the worst place to eat in Aberdeen and considering the competition that is a major achievement.

Lovely experience yesterday, not our first visit to the establishment, however it was by far the best service we had received to date. Our waiter was named Greegor and was very polite to me and my family. He advised my hubby to try out the Jambayla and he absolutely loved it!! Tasty meal all round and no complaints.

I was greeted by a young man with dark hair with a cheerful smile, i think he said his name was Gregor. He welcomed us to the restaurant and showed us to our seats. He took our drinks order and it wasnt long before he came back to take our meal order. He entertained the kids whilst me and my wife was choosing what to eat. He recommended I have the steak which was an excellent choice. The food served to my family was superb. We all enjoyed our meal and the kids loved theirs very much so. The waiter we had was superb at his job and was very frinedly to us. Would definelty recommend to go to this restaurant, especially if Gregor ids your waiter.

Came here on a Monday with colleagues. Had been here before and had a disappointing experience with the spareribs. Had chicken this time and was pleasantly surprised. Tasted good and not pricy.

My wife, daughter and grand daughter visited on Saturday and asked about dairy free options. One of the team sat down with them and went through the menu. Excellent response and the food was very nice, well done guys, no 1 place to visit for us in the future.

Never going to this restaurant again! After ordering the ‘natchos’ for delivery - it came with 3 tubs on the side. Two of the tubs had guacamole and salsa in them and the other one had literal sick in it!

Been in Chiquitos a number of times before and not really had a bad experience before but this time it was a case of the long wait. We had to wait 20 minutes before we could get our order placed then we had to wait a further 30 minutes to get our drinks. Then we had almost finished our drinks before we got our food which on a few of the plates were cold. We told the waitress but nothing was done about this so I doubt we will be back

I always enjoy my food here and I've experimented with a few different things on the menu. Sometimes too much to eat, but I don't eat a lot anyway so I give the leftovers to whoever I'm with. Even my very picky Granny enjoyed her meal here.

The place looks quite interesting, nice atmosphere, nice decoration and the expectations were for an above average meal. Everything was ok but just that. Menu options ok, service just ok and all in all the experience was worthwhile in a relaxed and above average setup with good quality food

Visited lunchtime , a few people in the place, and it is a large restaurant and a couple of servers, sat at a table and waited and waited, no member of staff approached us, they didnt seem to notice we had walked in, so we walked out, not impressed

We went to Chiquito for lunch, we wish they had a lunch menu. It was a bit heavy for lunch but all in all a very good meal. It’s a nice restaurant and lovely waiters, next time I’m in Aberdeen and hungry for Mexican I’ll definitely go back.

They have a secret, Really nice Sunday Breakfast, and not just the Scottish fry up, but some really tasty alternatives. Good meal/service and nice coffee. Service is always with a smile and if you want a chat fine, if not fine. Also not an issue if you are on your own as some places can be a bit funny with single people.

I went on Saturday lunchtime with a friend. I had 5 bean chilli Burrito which was quite big and packed full and tasty. I had a side of sweet potato fries also. My friend had the chicken fajitas which she said was very nice and tasty. It was also a decent size portion. We both then had the golden nugget cheesecake which has been my favourite for ages. This time it wasnt quite the same. The portion size was bit smaller but there were more chocolatey balls in it which was good but there also seemed to be bigger crunchier pieces of honeycomb which made me worry about my fillings. The cheesecake wasn't so soft and yummy-it took more effort crunching into it. I know its not big deal but it was different from many times I have had before and now its not my favourite. Shame. It is still lovely. Service was very good. Meal and a soft drink cost about £23 which is ok.

Tuvimos una mesa de 7, nos sentamos rápidamente, tomamos la orden de las bebidas con prontitud, pero tardamos un poco en llegar, tuvimos que esperar un poco para que se tomara la orden de los alimentos, cuando llegó 1 orden fue aproximadamente 10 minutos por detrás de todos los demás sin disculpas los platos de los niños tenían que ser devueltos ya que el pollo estaba tibio en el mejor de los casos, no se disculpó cuando se sirvieron nuevos platos, la camarera que servía la comida obviamente estaba teniendo un mal día, ya que su actitud no era tan agradable como los otros servidores. Las placas parecían simples y no tenían ningún factor sorpresa real.

We shared a big plate with different tastes, it is not very special and not very bad, mid to upper class Mexican. The system an logistical is functional and food comes very fast. Ok food for shopping brake.

Simply put,today's visit was nothing short of spectacular. The food, atmosphere and staff all made for an unforgettable experience. The drinks were rapid and well presented as were the staff. We were extremely impressed with our server Neil who sold us on different menu items tailored to our needs. He advised us on accompanying sides and was very patient with us in our review of the menu. Although Mexican food has not previously been a favourite, it is now our "go to" whenever we visit Union Sq due to the impeccable food, quality drinks and incredible staff. With so many other options to choose from in Union Sq you have definitely gained a first choice return from us. Thanks again Neil for your service, you're a credit to the company!

Staff nice ,standards not that great we requested no salad on the plate , the waitress took it back and the chef scraped it off the plate into a bowl and sent straight back, still remainders of lettuce and tomato seeds on plate, rather than them changing it, an issue for my daughter who has OCD and yes they didn't know that,however when you order without it means without and there is good reason you say you don't want it and surely they know this, we waiting a long long time just for 3 chicken strips as a starter and when the main came not great, we asked for well done steak..wouldn't be an issue you would think..wrong as we recieved charcoal beef and tasted that way too..the wrap would have needed a microscope to find the chicken..I would not return.

Tried this restaurant for the first time recently. The halloumi burger was really good. Could be done with more fajitas for the amount of filling you get with them. Would definitely eat here again.

We went here for food before the cinema. We had a reservation so we were seated straight away. Waiter came and took our drinks order and then our food order promptly. Food was tasty , thought the portion sizes were a bit on the small side. Can't complain on the food quality and taste. Waiter was brilliant and had a good sense of humour. We will be back.

After being at the cinema with family we waited 20 mins for a table. Once seated we gave our drinks order and then food order. Drinks came and was never offered another even after waiting for 35 mins for our food. Asked if we would like sauces we actually had to point out we didn’t have any cutlery. First time we have never left a tip as the service was shocking. The food itself was lovely but to have been offered 1 drink and to chase a waiter for the actual bill they were lucky that we just didn’t leave. This was a Saturday at approx 18.00. Definitely won’t be back as with plenty other restaurants to choose from in union square why would you !!
