Fabulous place! Great food! Amazing service! Been once before and both times have been great. I had dreams of their korean pork belly ! So good. That restaurant staff were all amazing especially Kennis and Sunny ! Great service and bartending from them especially !!!

We had a lovely evening at the park plaza hotel, a waiter called Tush was very attentive with us and respected our space but also made sure we were comfortable when drinking and eating at this establishment he was lovely, accommodating and spoke so highly of the rest of his staff, was lovely to hear

Great place! Came a few years back and had to come again this time for our anniversary dinner. Semi fancy vibe can definitely dress up without feeling out of place but can also dress down due to hotel guests also coming and going. We had great service from Sunny as our waitress and Kennis as our bartender who were both extremely friendly and helpful with my allergies. Food and drinks are both excellent. Would definitely recommend!

This restaurant is in a hotel lobby…it does not look anything like you expect from photos.. it is bright and looks a little like a posh canteen….there was no live entertainment as advertised…. Had a meal and was not asked if we wanted a drink … Steak with sticky rice was delicious.. my partner was disappointed with his sea bass …

Menu online doesn't exist! We came for the sushi and calamari as stated on the menu and was told they haven't served that for about a year now. It was valentines day so there's no way we'd be able to find bookings for anywhere else :/ The food was good regardless but not what we came for or wanted and the waitress was absolutely lovely but they only had about 4 options for a main meal maximum and half of the small menu was sandwiches or salad. Don't go here for the menu. It doesnt exist!!

Waitress are helpful. Her name was Fiona. Atmosphere wasn't pretty much we expect. Sushis are great strongly recommend. We don't like the coctails. Deffo try edamame beans. You won't regret

We booked an asian fusion restaurant on valentines day, when we got to the table thr menu was changed to chicken supreme and some variation of cod. Turns out the rebranded without updating they're website. The worst part? They only had 2 choices and the menu supplemented with 'bar snacks' disappointed.

We used to love this restaurant but it is a shadow of its former self. We had the tasting menu which apart from the lovely pork belly was at best dull. The staff didn't know what was in the sushi even though they were otherwise really good. I also consider £4 for a half of lager and £29 for a bottle of cheap Italian fizz excessive. I can see why the place was virtually empty and was irritated that the staff were laying tables for breakfast on the tables around us at 20:45. Clearly not expecting a rush.

We thought we would try this restaurant because it looked different. We ordered Edamame beans which had no flavour whatsoever. Just covered in rock salt . Our mains were just bland and average and not what it said in the menu. That's coming from vegetarian and meat eaters . Well over priced for what it was. The service was also terrible.

Restaurant decor was non existent and looks unfinished. No real atmosphere. Staff clearly needs more training. One waiter spilt nearly half the pitcher of water on the floor while attempting to fill our glasses with water. Then proceeds to mop it up and place an ugly yellow “wet surface” sign next to our table which ruined the decor and atmosphere even more. Food was overpriced and not worth it at all. Thai Chicken Yellow curry consisted of entirely vegetable and some pieces of chicken. Prawn Maki had multiple issues: the portion size was too small (only 4 pieces) and it was just sushi with a salad stuffing with absolutely tiny pieces of prawn on top. Overall, completely unsatisfied and disappointed in the experience. Will not visit again.

Had the steak on hot stones taster menu. Enjoyed every course. Not cheap but great for a special occasion.

The food was nice not as good as it was few years ago, like the service and I had a romantic dinner with my wife!

It was just weird to be honest, totally dead, news on tv, breakfast buffets ready to go out for the next morning. £8.50 for 3 of the spring rolls you get free from the Chinese, and bland noodles and curry. Service was ok, however there’s a 12.5% service charge and she then asked for a tip on top of it. Far too expensive for what you get, no atmosphere, just strange!

This restaurant is far too expensive for what you get, the menu consists of 3 paper pages and the choice of dishes is limited to say the least. I would not recommend unless you are desperate.

I came here for my birthday ! The short rib is lovely and our server was really friendly !! The sushi disappointed as I was expecting better but overall it was a good experience.

Went to the Nottingham branch. Decor was dated and not much atmosphere. Food was nice but for slightly expensive for the price. We celebrated my sisters graduation and even though we asked the staff if they could bring out a pudding to say congratulations, they did not which was quite disappointing unfortunately. The cocktails were good however.

Visited this restaurant in 'Restaurant Week' in Nottingham as a deal £25 for a 2 course meal. Never been here before and is inside a hotel - Park Plaza so didn't have the usual vibe or atmosphere that you get with more intimate restaurants. Our servers were very friendly and helped us make our choices. Our recommendations would be the surf & turf roll - a sushi starter and absolutely delicious and the short rib beef for a main. The wine is fairly expensive. Overall, an enjoyable meal with friendly service. Would suggest you give it a go!

We love Chino Latino! The food is always outstanding and this is the best Pan Asian restaurant around. The staff team are always attentive and helpful - a massive thanks to Mirek for his impeccable service. Thanks also to Rachel - very efficient and friendly :) We will be back again very soon - thanks again for a lovely evening as always.

OMG! This place is out of this world. The food is delicious, especially the sushi.

Went here for a date and had a lovely meal. We got the vegetarian taster menu which is not so much a taster menu as every single vegetarian dish on the menu - not a complaint as it was all delicious and excellent value for money! The interior could use an update as it wasn't very comfortable.

Not normally open on Tuesdays, but went for Valentines dinner and had the tasting menu which was amazing. Normal size entries shared between the two of us so a LOT of food. Service was excellent, especially Cara. Everything was delicious and would have a hard time choosing a favorite. Reasonably priced.

Booking a table online was easy. Our waitress Yasmeena was very attentive and the set menu was delicious- the beef taco was delicious, and the salmon was perfectly cooked. The only item that did not meet my expectations was the korean pork belly. The cocktails were great too!

It should have been busy on a Friday night before Christmas surely?, but we were the only diners in the restaurant! what a shame! the food is delicious....the reason I think is that it is inside a hotel and there is no footfall walking by and noticing it.... so go there if you want a very quiet meal! The menu is a little eclectic, and could be written better, and the food choices are quite strange, for example you can have a burger and sushimi....but whatever you chose it will be well presented and tasty and I loved the mixed fish tacquitos. We were the last to leave, well the only people to arrive too, but it wasn't great that they started laying out the breakfast for the next morning while we were still finishing our desert, and the wine glasses were wet from the dishwasher, just dry them first guys before you bring them out...

We had the taster menu, absolutely spot on.In fact the menu was so good we cancelled our booking at a famous steak chain of restaurants, to go back to the Chino Latino that night.

Been here years ago and was impressed by the food and this was no different. However, I have to echo other reviews when I say the service was very slow. We had a table reserved and arrived a few minutes early but we're not acknowledged at the bar (not busy) for over ten minutes. When we approached someone to say we had a reservation we were eventually shown to a half filled restaurant. After 15 minutes we had to to becon someone just to take a drinks order. By then we knew what food we wanted so ordered that at the same time. We then waited 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive then a further 30 minutes for food which for me just isn't good enough. We'd been in well over an hour before we had our food. The restaurant was only half full, only half a dozen or so other tables already eating so no excuse for delay really. When it did come, there was no apology but it didn't disappoint and that's the only reason this review isn't one or two stars.

The whole place looks in need of refurbishment, was poorly lit (red lights everywhere) and it was uncomfortably cold. Food was OK but not as good as it should be and quite expensive for what it was. Service was pleasant.

What a fabulous meal we had at this restaurant. Beautiful fusion food. Excellent menu, excellent wine list and superb staff who were just so helpful, knowledge and friendly. The cocktails were great as well. That factored with the price makes this an excellent choice for a beautiful meal. We'll definitely be back again.

A terrible experience. 2-4-1 drinks were terrible. A Mojito with all the bits chucked in a glass but not mixed. Food was poor, simply heated up and stodgy. The £15 duck pancakes had less than a dipping sauce bowl full - well over priced (and the staff agreed!). Overall the food tasted like it was stored and reheated. We sat in an isolated part of the restaurant and had to go and find someone ourselves. The restaurant looks closed at street level but you walk up a staircase to the restaurant. Whilst we told the manager of all of the above and service charge was waived, a 10% good will discount was erased when they actually over charged us by 20%. When I realised and queried, I was told a refund had to wait until the following Monday rather than do what any commercial place would do and issue an instant refund. This place needs a complete overhaul and looking at.

I was very much looking forward to visiting here again, but unfortunately it was not what it used to be. We had the set menu for two people at £80 and our taste buds were as confused as we were. Fusion food should compliment, not clash. Some of the dishes had too much going on, where as others were bland and tasteless. However the service was faultless,the staff were friendly and attentive. The ambiance left something to be desired. Overall we were very disappointed and fail to see why the two Rosettes have been awarded. Sad to say we will not be going again.

Surprised the restaurant was empty on a Saturday night. Very limited menu with some items not available. Surprised at the lack of Chinese dishes. While it was very quiet tables weren’t cleared quickly. The food we had was good and our window table was in a good spot.

starter came straight away and was nice then we waited forever for our main as looks like they were too bust catering for a function my husband got baby chicken it was terrible a chicken leg all brown meat and a few frozen fries for £19

Came here some ten years ago and unfortunately it’s now not the vibing drinking and eatting establishment I once visited years back. The lamb chops starter doesn’t exist nor the black cod in miso sauce ( although the cod is still on the online menu) it was the signature dish and a shame it’s not available anymore. Instead I had prawn tempura with ponzu sauce ( the prawns weren’t the best very mushy and the sauce had no flavour at all) For main it was sirloin on hot rocks. Well for £23 it was just the poorest tasteless steak I’ve had in a long time. Then to top it off the portion of French fries just came in a bowl and were not of anything to shout about. I don’t like giving negative reviews but it is really sad that my visit here the other day was so disappointing. I guess with all the competition in Leeds now the place has struggled. I would not visit again unless a massive improvement was made.

What a shame. We arrived & were the only people in the restaurant - the staff appeared disappointed that we had showed up. There were three of us & we wanted to do the sharing menu to be told it’s not possible with an odd number (!). The sharing menu was one of the reasons we chose to dine there. Asking for drinks - I fancied a martini & that was not possible, my husband asked for an IPA and that was also unavailable. At this point we just decided to leave and not bother

The only good thing on the menu was the taquitos. The service was super slow and we were the only ones there so it made no sense. Picky bits if food took 40 mins to come out and we had to get up to find the waitress to order more food/drinks- no one bothered to check on us the entire time we were there. 3 hours sat there in total due to waiting on food and we still left hungry.

The restaurant was not open. We were able to book online and nowhere does it say this isn’t open. We tried calling and no answer. Extremely poor. It was almost 7pm on a Friday night and the doors were locked and lights were off.

Truly very high quality food. A very interesting fusion of Pan Asian cuisine. Friendly and attentive staff without being intrusive. Will definitely be back again

Food was fantastic. Very nice blend of styles and very good quality whether fish or meat. Sadly, they were understaffed. All very helpful but the kitchen needed another person. Everyone willing and delightful just not enough of them.

The food is really good but portions are small and small things like Edamame beans only being seasoned on top is disappointing. Only 2 servers which was noticeable as we sat with empty plates for a while although the ladies working were lovely and worked hard. The restaurant layout is a little strange, there's something missing to make it feel like you're having a really nice experience and the service charge added to the food cost is a bit sneaky. Nice meal but elements let it down.

My daughter couldn’t have suggested a better place to celebrate my 50th! We loved the Asian style food and the manager was the sweetest thing, she brought a beautiful dessert platter with candles and celebrated my birthday among us. We definitely will be back. Thank you for making the night so special.

Nothing particularly wrong with the meal - but for the price we were disappointed. Yes there was plenty of food on the taster menu at £47pp - but as Chinos is alledgedly multi award winning we were expecting a great meal. Something didn't add up here. Some of the food was nice. The salmon main course dish was tasteless. The chicken thai? Salad was tasteless. The steak was simply a steak delivered to your table on sizzling rocks - but was cheap tough steak and slightly undercooked/raw in the centre (we were not asked how we like it cooked). Dessert was a plate of basically mixed fruit. And the bottle of rose pinot that we had was dreadful. Half the food was ok - half was not what we expected for a £270 meal for a group of four. Also for a friday evening the place was nearly empty - maybe this should have warned us. And nothing that can be done about this but we found the restaurant lacking any character or intimacy - but then it is in a big hotel. So this was an expensive mistake for us - you live and learn.

Beautiful setting for a romantic meal. Food was absolutely amazing and the staff were very friendly with great service. Only thing is it took about an hour for the starter to come but was worth the wait.

Was really looking forward to this but I'm sorry to say it was a disappointment. The service was very slow (30 mins to get a drink) and the food came in dribs and drabs with, for example, sliced beef came at the end but absolutely nothing else - no rice, etc. Then asked for a taxi at the end of the night and was told bluntly that they don't do that... First time I've ever been told that at a restaurant. Food was ok but nothing special. Found the setting to be quite sterile. Overall, was pretty average.

Calamari was inedible, dim sum was freezer burnt and sushi was warm. There was Saxophone music playing too loud and a poor quality radio playing too, it was awful. Wine glasses were dirty, table service was slow and poor. A shame because we regularly visit Chinos in Nottingham- Miles apart! There was zero atmosphere, there was no other guests and for a Friday night it was unbelievable, but after the experience we had, i can see why. It was crap!

Ordered a takeaway at 5.30 p.m. money taken...food delivered an hour later and cold so sent it back...now approx 7.45 p.m. and no replacement!!! Will not be using again and money back please!!!!

We arrived and there was only one set menu on offer- this had not been advertised as such! There was no welcome upon arrival and although the serving staff tried they didn’t really know what they were doing. We even had to ask for the price of the wines which were not detailed on the rather small list. My friend had a word with the hotel manager who seemed totally interested. Not advised for a night out!!

The Malaysian chicken with curry sauce and pink peppercorn was amazing! We wasn't impressed with only a select few cocktails being 2 for 1. Also, we wasn't happy with the pudding as we weren't able to choose what we wanted ourselves

I have visited this restaurant for years under many different styles of management. I've never been compelled to give such a poor rating however sadly it is badly managed or the staff just don't care. Waiting for drinks. Having to tell the staff to pour our champagne.... Seriously where is the attentiveness. Food not on the mark. This restaurant was for me the best in Nottingham, sadly today I wished I stayed at home and ordered a take away.

The food, staff & everything was fantastic, the only downside was we didn’t realise you had to go into the hotel to get the lift to it & the 12% service charge that’s automatically added (although you can take it off) I do think this should be an amount you decide to add on. However it would not put me off revisiting, had a lovely evening

From the moment we arrived the attentiveness was excellent, seated in a cosy area away from others. We were given a free glass of Prosecco for anniversary meal. The food was promptly served once placed and was outstanding. We cannot wait to go back again! Thank you again.

We ordered the plant based set menu. The food was delicious and was displayed beautifully. I would recommend if vegetarian to go for the set menu as you get to try all the veggie options on the menu. The service was great.

We struggled to find somewhere to accommodate 10 guests last minute and this was the only restaurant available. Somewhat skeptical we arrived a few minutes late to be greeted by the friendliest staff. The food was unreal. I have the steak hot rock and would highly recommend. There was something for everyone. The staff went above and beyond and we never went without a drink.

Visiting my home town of Nottingham and picked this restaurant from a restaurant guide . Liked the look of the menu online . They didn’t disappoint. Easy booking process online . Restaurant is sited adjoining the Radisson hotel on Maid Marion Way Ate from the a la carte menu rather than the set menus . Food was beautifully presented and good portions . Particularly impressed with the dessert selection for sharing . Tables still socially distanced and not as busy as expected . A very enjoyable meal in a clean , pleasant restaurant Photos of duck salad with oak cakes which we shared as a starter Thai yellow chicken curry with rice and bok Choi Dessert selection for sharing - chocolate orange infused fondant was to die for

We had a lovely meal here last night. Lovely atmosphere and lighting. The food was amazing - we decided to order lots of dishes to try as much as possible, and it wasn't nearly as expensive as we thought it would be. Great value for money. Lovely place.

It was great to be dining in Chino Latino again - we have missed this fantastic dining experience so much over the last seven months and our dinner was excellent as always! We continue to love Chino - we have been dining here for many years now and the whole concept is perfect. We love the Pan Asian cuisine and the tapas style makes it a very enjoyable experience. Went there this weekend with my family. We ordered all of the sushi and most of the starters and tempura. The hot food was tasty - tempura was light and delicious. However, the sushi was a big let down. Having grown up in Tokyo and eaten sushi all around the world I know when sushi is freshly made vs been in the fridge. Although the flavours were nice (disappointingly the jalapeños were not spicy at all) the rice was cold and dense. The food came out within a couple of minutes of ordering it. Clearly pre made, kept aside and waiting to be served probably as part of the set menus. About 10 minutes after the bulk of it was served our final plate of sushi came out which was clearly fresh (not cold or dense). This was disappointing to say the least. Sushi should always be freshly made to order. If it wasn’t in the fridge the rice needs to be prepared better. We will be back for the hot food only! The lemon cheesecake and mango sorbet were delicious too.

The food was delicious but the service was a bit hit and Miss. the staff were lovely but we had to wait a long time for our starters and one of them was forgotten. Then we had to wait a long time to settle our bill at the end.

We celebrated a 21st birthday with delicious food great atmosphere and friendly waiting staff. A very enjoyable first meal post lockdown. We had different cocktails but unsure how much alcohol was actually in them but they tasted nice. The dishes are beautifully presented and the flavours are delicious. We would definitely eat here again

We were all very disappointed on my visit last night. The money for value on taster menu for 4 people was not there. For the amount paid anyone would expect more. We have had in the past the taster menu for 2 and was over stuffed. Although the cost went from 45 for to to 35 for 4.. I found that they went on the cheap with items such as vegetable curry and chicken salad which hardly had any chicken.We all left feeling unsatisfied and felt bad for our guest as we raved so much about chino Latino to feel like there are cheaper meals that would have been more satisfying on the tummy and pocket. Service was good for the conditions of the virus and we had food constantly coming out but I think they need to rethink the menu as I would expect more at 35 pounds a head . Even on the taster menue for 45 pounds..., some of the items replaced for more vegetables rather than meat or fish or something more of value to justify the cost.

We had the tasting menu for 5 people. There was so much food! It was so delicious, the steak on the stones was unbelievable! Thank you guys for a really great meal with excellent service. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely fabulous; from the atmosphere, to the food, to the service! My boyfriend booked this restaurant for our one year anniversary and we’re still trying to recreate this magical night we had 3 years down the line. Amazing!
