The food was really good. Lots of fresh vegetables. Portions were large and we actually ordered too much!! Ready on time. Easy parking. Recommended. We would definitely return when next in the area.

Amazing food here beef fried rice is gorgeous!! Chicken balls are really crispy, prawn crackers are to die for !!

Bin going here since my mate said it was a lot better and a lot cheaper and to my surprise it is ! The food is excellent and very tasty, everything is very well cooked and in general a really really good and tasty place to go!😋

Me and my boyfriend are visiting on a trip and went to china house after seeing great reviews. To my dismay the chips were hard and dry, the curry sauce was thick and gelatinous and the chicken balls were very doughy. Not impressed! :(

Tiny portions, spent £30 on quite a few dishes and it could only feed two at a push. Really disappointing.

We tend to order and collect from China House every other week and the food is always tasty and hot. The price is good and John always endeavours to do everything to make sure the customer is happy :)

First time trying the China House and it was delicious. I’m vegetarian and was impressed by the vegetarian options. The tofu in black bean sauce was amazing. Reasonably priced and quick service waited about 15 mins on a Saturday night. Friendly staff on the counter.

this place was recommened to us by friends that live close by we was visiting on holday and we went to here for a take away the food was lovely the king prawn curry was amazing , also would recommened the duck curry and the chicken curry , all very good , shame we live so far away ... then again would never be away if we lived closer lol

Food is always good here. A regular monthly treat. This take away only and is closed on Mondays. Staff are very friendly. No card payments accepted unfortunately.

I have been using china house for years and I absolutely love the food from there. John (the owner) has always been very pleasant and is always ready for a chat. If ever I've had a problem, and there have only been a few in all those years, he has always been overly generous in putting it right. Would definitely recommend this place for your takeaway!

Received wrong dish, owner apologised when I called and said they would offer free dish next time if I kept this one. Owner then refused to honour free dish and treated me disrespectfully. Made me feel as if I'd done something wrong and humiliated me in front of other customers. I'd never go in there again!

Very nice but peak times you may not get a time to take away, we had spare ribs sweet and sour chicken balls

I have been purchasing food from China House since 2002 and the food has always been hot & tasty, John (the owner) has been friendly & helpful and the price of the food has been reasonable. All of my family & friends use China House for their Chinese meals and the Crispy Chilli Chicken is in my top 5 meals of all time.Thank you John for the excellent food over the past 15 years.

Although it was very busy the service was excellent. We had tried to ring an order but were told we would not be able to collect until 3 hours later but we're given the option of collecting which we did. Food was excellent. Crispy duck was delicious as was the Chicken in a Lemon sauce. Definitely excellent takeaway food.

A takeaway. You want a few things when picking out a good one. 1, reasonable prices. 2, good choice. 3, fairly quick turnaround and most importantly really tasty food! What can I say, this is our number 1 choice of Chinese food in Cinderford and delivers on all those areas listed above. Word of warning. It's cash only - put there is a cash point at the garage opposite. Happy eating 😀

Yo soy feliz con la casa china. Pero no hoy. Llegué a media 5 (hora de apertura) y nadie estaba allí por 20 minutos.

Have always enjoyed food at China house however however had few meals recently that have not been of a good standard, also find that John the owner can be rude. Mentioned to him that recent meal was bad and he acted disinterested.

I usually come here for a meal and have to say this time it was terrible. I feel I have to write this as the food is usually good. This time around it was burnt and my sweet and sour king prawn was very acidy and tasted like vinegar. The chips had been hanging around for a while too. Don't think I'll return. Will go to lotus next time

We love the food always good and consistent, people are lovely would be an advantage if they took cards but never mind.

We have a takeaway from here most weeks and the food is always of the same excellent standard, we do usually order over the phone as is busy on weekends.

Been here on many occasions and is my second choice to the lotus. The food is always tasty and reasonably priced. The only downfall is they don't accept card payment!!!!
