Nice food, good service, basic desserts of ice cream or fritters. But...no usual wet wipes or finger bowls and with the sticky finger food starters we spent the whole time there with sticky gooey hands and no way of cleaning up without going upstairs to the loo. That was disappointing as theyve always been supplied there before.Food good, but one spring roll was cold in the middle..not cooked long enough.

Overall poor quality takeaway. Poor portion sizing with food filling 1/2 tub and lemon chicken barely filling 1/4 of the tub. Didn’t even taste like lemon it was just sweet. Satay chicken definitely more than one spice level. At least make it my moneys worth such a rip off for what I got

Lovely restaurant. We had n't booked prior to visiting, but would advise to as this place gets busy, for Good reason. When we arrived we were seated promptly. Service through our evening was very good indeed. The food was delightful, with an extensive menu. We live about 20mins drive away, with the same driving time for Bury St.Edmunds, but this place is so much better than in what is offered in Bury St Edmunds and will definitely return, hopefully soon. The best Chinese in the area by far! Love coming here, and do regularly for family birthdays or just for a good Chinese. Takeaway is just as good but staff are always so friendly and attentive.

Wow where do I start. Ordered on line for 8 pm collection all good confirmed email. Sit back and wait. Wife drives to collect at 8 and told 40 minutes behind ok can understand busy as its newyears eve. Than another 20 minutes than told another 30mins so now 1 and a half hours behind and still no food ! Wife is still waiting hope we get it before 2023

I ordered a takeaway 3 hours before pick up of 3 items chicken balls, egg friend rice and chips was arranged to pick up at 8pm I waited 1.5 hours for this, in that time I saw 11 people demand refunds for food that was already over an hour late! The poor girls on the front desk had to deal with fed up customers, where was the manager no where to be seen! Absolutely disgusting service and no care for people waiting! They were still taking orders when they couldn’t accommodate the offsets they already have! Will NOT be using these again! Fuming!!! Happy new year!

We have visited on a couple of occasions and the service has been faultless. Very attentive staff and quick service too. The food is delicious and always generous servings. Looking forward to returning.

Whilst the menu is a combination of Chinese and Thai cuisine, I really fancied Chinese so had the aromatic crispy duck which was excellent. The special fried rice and Chicken Chow Mein was very good too. Will have to try Thai on my next visit as will definitely be returning.

We've just had another wonderful meal for a birthday outing with friends! We couldn't fault the food, everything was delicious, and we were really well looked after by Bill and his team. We're very lucky to have such a brilliant restaurant in our little town.

My wife and I ate here twice( a Thursday and Friday. I am not sure when the restaurant is open but I am certain that it was not open on our first day in Hadleigh (Tuesday) and although I inspected the premises I was unable to determine when they did open! I deliberately drove past on Wednesday to check whether they opened and finding them open booked a table for the following day. The food and service were excellent. We had a bottle of reasonably priced Sauvignon Blanc on each of our visits

Great food, top notch service and a vast menu covering lots of eastern cuisines. You have to book Friday and Saturdays or you won’t get a table.

We was at spa a few miles down the road and looking at places to eat we came across this restaurant on trip advisor!! I always look at photos of food but as there wasn’t many I bit weary of going! But I was not disappointed!! We had various dishes and all was cooked well and was full of flavour!!! My step dad doesn’t really like chinese but he even said how much he Enjoyed the meal would have again!! We usually stay at log cabin or aA spa in this area and we said we willDefinitely be back!!

We ate at Dynasty on Friday evening with a group of friends. The food was superb, every dish was delicious and the portions were extremely generous. the toffee apple dessert is amazing! As always the staff were friendly and attentive with a really personal touch. Really looking forward to our next visit.

You won't be let down here. The food and service is excellent. Absolutely no complaints and the food spot on. The satay and half duck are recommended. We went late on week night so was very easy to get table. I'm not sure how busy it gets weekends. Always friendly service from the staff over the years.

We visited here on recommendations from family who had visited before, and we were certainly not disappointed. A great choice on the menu and the service is fantastic. We certainly didn’t go home hungry and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, would recommend to anyone wanting to visit a Chinese locally.

You must book otherwise you will be disappointed - we had the set menu and it was just enough between 4 of us totally what we needed.

This was really the best Chinese food that we have had for a very long time. We arrived on a quiet night in the week and were treated to some superb food and friendly and efficient service. The restaurant has a great ambiance, very clean and nicely fitted out.

One of the best Chinese meals I can remember having in a long time. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Menu is extensive and has something for everyone. The restaurant is in a very old beamed building with gives it a lovely atmosphere. Portions are enormous so make sure you go hungry! Love all the little extras like the finger wipes between courses and the fresh fruit platter at the end of the meal. Would most definitely recommend.

Celebrated my dad's 90th birthday with a lunch time party at Dynasty. Excellent food choices and plenty of it, care was taken to cater for vegetarian and allergens. The meal was rounded off with the most beautiful and delicious cake - thank you!

Can’t praise the food we’ve had from Dynasty enough. Amazing flavours, good portion size and all in recyclable packaging. Might be a little more expensive but worth every penny. Will be going back here for every future Chinese meal we have. Thank-you.

Very friendly welcome, so much choice on menu,we chose crispy duck,two sizzling dishes fillet steak in black pepper sauce and king prawns in ginger with spring onions

The decor is lovely and food was nice, albeit the wine was expensive at £18 a bottle for Zinfandel. Toilet door latch locked from the outside whilst I was in there and had to kick the door to get it open eventually only to be told by the staff that it could be opened from the inside as well (could not see how!), thought I was eating in a restaurant not auditioning for the Crystal Maze! Staff were friendly up until the point I had got stuck in their toilet.

We popped in on Friday night to pick up a takeaway and received excellent service. Whilst we waited we were offered a drink and some prawn crackers. The restaurant itself looks quaint and we will definitely be going back to have a meal there. The food we ordered did not take long and it was delicious, especially the beef hi fun.. :)

The food at Dynasty is simply AMAZING. As a child and young adult, I was taken to some of the best Chinese restaurants in the West End and London. I can safely say that the quality of the food at Dynasty’s is better than I’ve ever tasted. Excellent value for money for Take Away. Customer service is fantastic, the waiters are so aware of their customer and make you feel valued, welcome and special.

Not usually bothered about the price when going to a nice restaurant but I must say the bill surprised us in a good way! They must be one of the few oriental restaurants that don’t charge eye watering prices on drinks. The food was delicious, especially the starters. Would definitely recommend the chicken satay and the ribs. We are not local but will definitely be returning next year when we are down that way again!

Good service, good choices, great food, nice atmosphere, we had a few different dishes to share from across the menu, a nice lager, and a dessert each. We all enjoyed ourselves and our food. We will visit again. There were four of us and a nice round table with a lazy Susan. Finishing with nicely presented wipes and fortune cookies. The food had been nicely presented as well.

So happy we chose to go here New Year's Eve! Staff fab & food delicious & very hot & tasty. The atmosphere was great, happy attentive staff & so very efficient.

Myself and my husband had another very good meal here about 3 weeks ago. There's a lovely ambience and the staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. Our favourite starters have to be the Salt and Chilli Prawns and the Chicken Satay. They're really substantial and absolutely delicious. We also really enjoy the Sweet and Sour Chicken, Hong Kong Style and the Chicken Curry. If you've got room you must try the Toffee Apples....amazing. The complimentary plate of fresh fruit at the end of the meal is also a nice touch and very refreshing.

Recently taken over by new owner May this restaurant has improved in ambiance, quality and service. The price increases are commensurate with the added value for the customer. We wish great success to the owner and staff.

We've just had our second meal here since the refurbishment and it was another great success. The salt and chilli prawns are fantastic, light and very tasty and not at all greasy. The chicken with black bean and the beef and mushroom were also excellent. I had a chicken and mushroom curry that arrived in its own heated pot. We had fried rice and noodles with beansprouts. The waiting staff were really friendly and we'll definitely be back.

My husband and I thought we would try the newly refurbished China Garden as it was. It was definitely much cleaner and the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered the Shanghai feast which started with a mixture of starters followed by Lemon chicken, a piping hot pot of prawns and scallops some mixed vegetables, a beef dish and a large bowl of special fried rice. The food was all hot but lacked flavour. Each dish tasted the same. The special fried rice was the best dish.As it was a very hot evening I was tempted with a mandarin ice cream. Someone had spent a lot of time arranging it prettily on the plate. It was very, very sweet and hard to eat as it had just come out of the freezer.It is nice to see that the restaurant is trying hard and they have made a lot of improvements but the meal for us was not memorable.

I visited this restaurant last night with my work colleagues for my leaving do. I have to say I was very impressed. Not onlyis it quaint inside but May and her staff looked after our party of 11 extremely well. The service was good and the food was delicious. They even made me a gorgeous cake. The menu is varied and have lots of dishes to choose from.It's a shame I have only just discovered this restaurant the day before I have left my hadleigh based company as otherwise I would have liked to have gone back there again.

We went for lunch on a Saturday with a total of eight persons.The food was excellent, well cooked and fresh.The staff were friendly and attentive.We all enjoyed the meal without exception.We will definitely go back.

Starters: soft shell crab and salt+chilli battered squid. Crab very good, squid a little bland and without the "melt in mouth" texture it can have. Mains: Ma Po Bean curd (with beef and chilli) THIS WAS VERY VERY GOOD and Stir Fried Kuay Teow (spicy noodle dish) this was a very nice dish which I will order again. Side of egg fried rice with spring onions was plenty for 2. Drinks: 3/2 glasses each of house white/red ok went well with food but nothing special; whiskey a good idea. Service friendly and the waitress did make sure that we were aware that the bean curd dish was good and chilli-hot. They were keen to hear our feedback. £50 or so, fair price given all the drinks. We will return.

More expensive than the usual Chinese but the quality is so much better! I go here every year for my birthday, and families birthdays and get the occasional takeaway from here! Definitely recommend. They make the best Irish coffees around too. Staff are friendly, lovely environment.

Went on a Sunday evening and it was not busy at all. Friendly staff but got our order wrong and ran out of mushrooms. It was quite expensive and the waiter at the end of the evening was asking what mine and my partner's relationship was - a bit creepy!

Arrived at 8 pm half empty, got a table. Ordered quickly but 45 mins later no sign of starters. Nx table were about to leave having waited an hour for food. Hot plates turned up for us finger bowl hoi sauce, chopped cucumber .. We thought oh gd the duck starter is coming ... But no, plates went cold and still we waited. Decided to leave at this point .... Would not try it again .. Had they been open and told us how long the wait was we probably wd hv accepted that ....

We use this restaurant takeaway regularly. Excellent menu. Food is always flavoursome and well prepared. Very good service and usually waiting time of 20 minutes or so. Ideal for quick family meal.

Always tasty and good quality of food. You get a great discount on takeaway orders. Lemon chicken and duck pancakes have never failed to please me. Would strongly recommend this place.

Small restaurant not very warm when we visited service not to bad at all,did'nt have to wait long for drinks or food, very quiet considering it was Friday evening when we visited,did find it expensive for Chinese, Maybe that's why it was so quiet.

I've eaten here many times, both in the restaurant and as a takeaway. I've never had any complaints about the place and it's much better than Jasmine House. I once had a wasp in my meal at Jasmine House!

My wife and I frequently visit. There is a very good value set lunch menu.Also the Sunday buffet is very good with plenty of choice.We have also gone al a carte and there is plenty of choice with well cooked food.Really recommended.

Went for a meal with my parents which we were looking forward to and have been many times in the past. When we arrived we decided to go for the buffet style meal. We ordered mixed hor'deouves (not sure on the spelling) and presumed it came with prawn toast like they usually do but no when it arrived we were given a very small plate with measly offerings. To my surprise there was no prawn toast! So we ordered some and for us to be told it was £14 pounds for two portions of bread basically! I told the waiter to take away one of the portions but it still came to £7 for just one portion of prawn toast which is a complete rip off. The set buffet price was £19 or something like that. I used to really like it here but was very disappointed.

My sister and my niece came to stay with me in Hadleigh and we decided to treat ourselves to a sit down Chinese meal which is so different and usually so much better than a takeaway. The decor looks a bit dusty and tired and the accoustics allow you to overhear the conversation from other tables, however none of that would have mattered if the food had been good which it wasn't. We ate from the banquet menu so did not expect to get expensive seafood dishes offered - fair enough. Everything we had tasted very salty and similar, the starter platter was just like a selection of supermarket party starters and all the food tasted sort of manufactured, I couldn't imagine it being the product of a proper chef cooking fresh ingredients from scratch - so much for our 'treat' won't be going back or recommending this place

Incomparable to Chinese restaurants in Ipswich and elsewhere. All the dishes looked the same and were either bland or very salty. Do not expect to get a proper satay sauce with the chicken main. Our waiter was very strange, he would not let me have a second beer until I had finished my starter!!! He also poured the beer in to my glass resulting in too much froth on more than one occasion. He made it quite clear that we were no longer welcome after the bill was settled and seemed to want to close early. The door was locked as we departed, way before the advertised closing time of 11pm. We had a terrible Pad Thai takeaway a few weeks ago and should have learned our lesson. We will never return to this establishment again and will obviously recommend it to no-one.

Went to China Garden a few weeks ago and wasn't going to review it, but then thought it only fair to let people know of my experience.I ordered Chow Mein and Crispy Seaweed, the obligatory prawn crackers arrived (clearly from a packet!) and were ignored. Then the meal I had ordered. The seaweed tasted burnt and the Chow Mein was that hot there's only one way it had been cooked, microwave. This place isn't cheap and, as other have commented, thy pester you like mad. I had a beer and hadn't finished the glass I was on when the waiter popped up, poured the rest of the bottle out and asked "another", I hate it when places do this, if it's wine then fair enough, top the glasses up, but don't just bung the beer in my glass so it fizzes up and becomes flat.I'll not be returning

Wonderful ambience inside and a large menu. However, several dishes were 'not available' and one dish was certainly not what we ordered according to its description on the menu. The service was attentive...perhaps too attentive. We asked for a break between courses, but didn't get it.

I could not believe there are restaurants as bad as this still about. The waiter could not pester us enough for an order and continued to pester during the meal. I sent one £12 salty Satay meal back and he replaced it with a £8 sweet & sour meal yet tried to charge the full price of the original meal ordered. Ruined our night out and would recommend anyone eating there to taste the bland salty meal first and then promptly send it back. Total shambles.

We've eaten here on a few occasions and although the interior and decor leave a lot to be desired the food and staff have always been great.However on a recent visit we found the service to be slow and unorganised, we even got forgotten at one point, we were the first in but the last to leave and felt rushed towards the end.One waiter was quite rude and sharp unnecessarily, whether it was his intention or not I felt a bit uncomfortable.We also took our 18 month old son who sat in a booster seat provided by the restaurant, this was dirty and stained with dried food stuck to it.The food however was delicious, as it always is but it's the little things that make a meal out an enjoyable experience and I'm afraid the attention to detail was lost.This place badly needs a make over, everything is old and shabby and quite dirty looking.

House red was very good as were the prawn crackers.We started with qtr crispy duck which was hot and tasty, only criticism, not enough pancakes, in fact 5 between two was a little unfair.The two mains and Singapore noodles were very hot and enjoyable.We will go back as staff were very friendly and accommodating.Next time we'll ask for extra pancakes !

We had a set meal, the highlight of which was the sizzling chicken - the beef in black bean sauce, although it had a chilli mark next to it on the menu did not appear to have met a chilli. The sweet n sour was heavy on the pineapple.The mixed hors d'oevres were enjoyable - particularly the prawns with garlic and chilli and the crispy pork with dipping sauce. The duck with pancakes was generous - although the duck was clearly emptied out from a catering pack of shredded duck.Very busy but we weren't in a hurry so did not mind waiting for the food, and told them this - perhaps we would have done better to have chosen a la carte rather than a set meal. Staff are friendly. I have been here before with friends who live locally and would go again but it is not gourmet dining
