Chilli Lovers in Harrow

Went here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and really enjoyed the food. We had the set menu, which included a starter, main, naan or rice, and a soft drink for £15. Food was tasty and piping hot. The restaurant was pretty empty as it was just after the lunch rush. I look forward to visiting again and trying other dishes.

Amazing food, great owner driver who operates the venue with assistance from his lovely wife. 10/10. NB. If you can't handle fiery Indian food, you must let the waiter/waitress know. Sham, the owner is head chef, he will tailor your order to your requirements.

This is a cosy warm restaurant run by experienced chef and retaurant manager sameer merchant who finally has his own place. Lovely food. !! Its been 6 awesome years. Loved the maji maji today and your amazing chilli chicken masala . Great food by genuine chef!!

I recently visited Chilli lovers and had an amazing experience. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff that made me feel right at home. Not only that, but the prices were also very reasonable, the chef shamir also went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect he came out personally to check on each table, making sure everyone was satisfied with their meals. It was such a delightful experience having the chef's personal attention. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the food here and attentive service team. Always ready to accommodate our requests as a large group. Can highly recommend the Mughlai Butter Paneer as an off-the-menu main dish!

Really disappointed with the food. Chilli lovers had the worst 'fiery chilli chicken ' This was a chef's special and turned out to be dry and uncooked chicken.

Excellent food and great service. The lamb tikka special was superb. Tried Chilli Lovers for the first time for a change from a nearby Indian restaurant we regularly use and were not disappointed. We will certainly be visiting again.

Best Indian restaurant in London! The food is fresh and feels home cooked and I would recommend visiting on the weekends if you can cause the chef does different weekend specials that are a must try. You should also order and share many small starters instead of one main meal as the menu is fantastic and all dishes are worth a try.

Been going to Chilli Lovers for years and never fails to please. Chicken wings, lamb chops, lamb tikka, jeera chicken, garlic mogo, crispy bhajia are just a few to mention that I always go for and the veg options are equally outstanding. If you're a fan of authentic Indian cuisine or want to embark on a culinary adventure, this restaurant is a must-visit, it's a true gem I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. My husband raves about this place, finally tried it with the kids. The chef Sam is lovely, introduced himself even jazzed up the food off the menu to accommodate everyone's choices. The décor is warm n comfortable. Overall lovely place, friendly staff & great veg options!! See you guys soon 👍🏼

My wife and I went for a meal here with her parents. We were welcomed in and led to our table. The staff were friendly. We were greeted by the owner and chef Sam who made some personal recommendations from the menu and off the menu. The food was tasty and very much enjoyed. Other local restaurants have put their prices up quite a bit recently but Chilli Lovers was reasonably priced and we would go again.

A small Indian restaurant like a cafe which has friendly staff and food taste fresh & spicy & reminds you of home cooking which gives you comfort & joy to eat.

Great little Indian restaurant on Marsh Lane. Food is amazing , fresh and tasty every time we have visited. Special mention to Kenny, our waitress who is always so friendly with great advice regarding the dishes. Also it’s great to see the chef coming out at the end of service to greet the diners. Great touch .

My wife & her group Went for lunch and they were offered set lunch menu so they ordered from set lunch menu,Chilli paneer rolls & paneer tikka rolls it was more than half filled with raw onions and tasteless.We asked the Chef/Owner and he said this is how we served and it’s not his problem that we don’t like it. REALLY ? Is this called a Hospitality Business?? Ladies if you go in group please be extremely careful with this place.. Prefer any other Indian restaurants around. Chef/Owner need some work ethics and same time how to respect women.

Ordered a take away Chilli Panner but was nothing like what a chilli panner would be like as was covered in strong soy sauce and lots of onions along with chewy Panner which was not fresh. Very sorry to give a bad review as I am a person who understands taste and recipe.

We hired the restaurant out to celebrate a special bday. The staff were so helpful and accommodating! The owner Shamir was so helpful and nothing was too much for him. Great menu and amazing food! Would definitely recommend this quaint restaurant! The red wine was also really good!

Food was amazing, good size portions Plain nan was so soft and tasty extremely friendly and welcoming staff with outstanding service could not ask for any better service. Well done 👍 you all. Worth our drive from Leamington Spa. Highly recommend this place and definitely will be going back.

Not a dining experience I would wish to revisit. Ordered various dishes, including Chicken Tikka Masala for a main, it came out of the kitchen with 90% sauce and 10% of what looked like scraps of chicken, which I would not even describe as bite size. When I questioned the portion, I was told that's how its served!!!! The butter naans came out of the kitchen without butter and were returned (and duly rectified). I ordered a further butter naan for our dining party and again they came out of the kitchen without butter. Overall, overpriced food not demonstrative of the portions/ food served. Luckily, spoilt for choice for excellent Indian cuisine in the area.

Good food but nothing special. Kebabs nice and meaty but a bit on the dry side. Service was attentive and polite. Quiet when we went.

This place is a real gem! The staff are very observant and friendly to customer's needs. The owners....a lovely couple both run this as a proper family business with great ethics. The food is scrumptious and its one of the BEST indian restaurants in the area! It's small but don't be put off...it has abundance of quality 😋

Food and service was great. The staff all very friendly and very polite. The restaurant was very busy but still came to check if everything was ok many times. Gave good recommendations. Over all very good tasting food definitely would recommend chilli panner for stater and lamb chops. Main the butter chicken on the bone big portion and very tasty. Great dinner.

This place is fantastic. There is a review that says it’s terrible. Please ignore whatever that review says because that is not even about this place. They don’t even have blue plates! The photos aren’t taken at chilli lovers. They do beautiful food, I have never had bad food from here. If you like your Indian food to actually have some spice and kick this is your place. They’ve just receive 5 stars from food hygiene. Staff are friendly and always happy to recommend dishes suitable to every customer. If spice isn’t for you then let them know and they will accommodate you. My partners mum can’t handle spice but we told the staff this and they made sure her meal was fine for her to eat. If you are in the area, or can have this delivered I would thoroughly recommend. It’s now my go to curry house and I recommend to everyone!

An outstanding restaurant for foodies that are all about the flavour. The dishes were packed with perfectly balanced flavours and of course generous with the chilli. They have a large selection of grill and curry dishes to choose from. The difficulty is deciding what to eat, but I'd like to recommend the butter chicken which is nothing like the mild creamy dish you get in a British curry house. It may not be the fanciest dining location but when it comes to the food it packs a punch.

We’ve been here a couple of times now and each time it’s been truly wonderful - honestly the food is exceptional. We usually go to bigger named places in the area but I went here with my boys and the food is just as good if not better than Regency or Purple Flame. We went here again the last weekend of August for my birthday and the ladies that host were very welcoming even though it was a Sunday and a bit of early due to us having our 2 year old with us. I’d highly recommend the mixed grill and extra portion of lamb chops as they are truly tasty and moreish. Even the Chaat the ladies had was very nice as was the mutton main which is yummy. All the food is very freshly made and extremely good quality so I’d highly recommend giving this place a go. Don’t worry about the decor or seating area - I’d rather eat well than pay extra to sit in a pretentious place where the food is given second thoughts. We are even going here again this weekend for my wife’s birthday as she loved it so much! Thank you Chilli Lovers and keep up the good work guys. Will probably see you again this weekend! Regardless of how good the ratings are for this place, I wouldn’t bother. Ordered a delivery and it just didn’t arrive, called 30 mins intervals and the response was always they’re on the way. Working with Uber eats to get a refund, seriously poor quality service.

Can’t fault this place, food is always great no matter how busy the place is. Staff are always on hand to take away empty dishes or refill drinks. The owner/chef usually does a walk around to check in with customers to ensure they are okay and no problems with the food.

Alot of hype around this place, so a visit was due! FSA Food Hygiene rating at time of writing - 3 out of 5 stars GOOD: Great waitress, Service, Tandoori Wings I heard were good (for non veg), Reasonable prices. Large range of dishes and lamb dishes looked okay. The brocolli was not tandoor cooked, it was cooked in a thick, red chinese style sauce like the mixed vegetable dish BAD: You wallk into a tiny dining area and see iniside an old, grubby and dated kitchen, old and filthy toilets. They only do roasted popadoms The drinks were expensive and mini versions of the cans and bottles (mixer sizes) Tiny bar Red food colouring in every dish! The Mushrooms and Vegetarian dishes were in a thick sauce and dripping in oil. The mixed grill had no lamb chops, small and red food colour everywhere Fried wings came out a burn red/brown The paneer was skinny and tastless Small portions of Dahl The chef is from another place up the road Overall, maybe good for meat eaters, but I wouldnt go back there again. Food was shockingly bad and decor old dated and dirty with cramped tables and chairs.

Our first time and definitely going back. My father-in-law is from East Africa and so we wanted a dining experience with flavours from there . Delicious food exemplary service standout dishes - goat curry Jeera chicken and lamb kebabs, Thank you for a lovely dinner. If any minor feedback is the slightly dated decor compared to similar modern restaurants in the area but the hospitality and food more than made up for it

Excellent food and even better service every time I come here. The butter chicken on the bone is delicious, highly recommend it. Particular mention to Kenny, a brilliant waitress. The chef even comes out at the end to ensure everything was good with your meal. A small intimate restaurant compared to some of the others around here which means the waiters provide a much better service

did not like the food could count how many paneer pieces in the Mongolian dish, nan was very doughy though did say thin n well done.Dal makhani was with black eyed beans and rajma both dishes very soupy.Wouldnt go again. Thankyou for your reply it shows how sad your restaurant count pieces of paneer to serve to customers you must have a lot of time on your hands to count the paneer and waste your valuable time instead of serving food properly.Wish you all the best in the future and keep counting grains also.

This restaurant serves amazing food. And the staff customer service is one of the best I have experienced. Credit to the management on providing such a service on par with fine dining establishments. I highly recommend this place. We also spoke to the head chef who owns the place and reserved the entire place for one Saturday afternoon lunch for a surprise 70th birthday for my mother in law and got glowing reviews from all guests. We will definitely be coming again and again! ❤️

Heard alot of good things about this place and wanted to risk dinner here... definitely was worth it! It was busy which means the food is rotating! Unlike the other places on the same stretch which were empty. Service was great and food was on point. Normally I take pics of dishes but unfortunately I was so hungry everything got polished. Unbeatable experience. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The food was absolutely amazing. We have food allergies and I don't think we have ever been treated with that much understanding and help as we did during our stay in Chili Lovers. Tasty food and lovely service. While waiting for takeaway I noticed the great level of cleaning from the staff. Very high hygiene standards. Also appreciated every glass being hand dried. The reason for 4* instead of 5* is purely down to the fact I asked for one dish specifically to be none spicy and instead everything else was non spicy except that one dish. Nonetheless, I would return.

If you like it SPICY, this is the place. If you don't like LARGE GROUPS of people, perhaps not. It can get rather LOUD, if you want a quiet dinner out...

Great food, great service. Sam the owner and head chef comes out to speak to guests couple times a night to make sure everything is okay or of there's any feedback. The waiting staff are very attentive and serve with a smile on their faces. The starters we ordered were (ranked best to least favourite) chili broccoli, chili chicken, chili mogo, crispy bhajia, chili paneer. The Mongolian paneer is better than chili paneer, I had this dish before. Also the makai bhel is very good. Mains we had butter paneer and garlic naan. All very good. We finished of with a sweet pan. We went at 6 on a Friday and just about got a seat so would recommend booking in advance.

Extremely helpful waitress. I didn't want a lot of butter in my curry to make it more slimming and she made sure that is what I got and it was still very tasty importantly. A very generous lunchtime menu too for 2 courses for under £8.

Food was ok and the place is nice . Was quite empty for a Sunday lunch. Main complaint was pushy servers kept asking for us to order. With a large table it can take time and most waitresses normally keep an eye on you and wait for your nod.

This was my first time here for a family dinner and the owner took such good care of us. He was very helpful in making sure we ordered what we wanted as we were so overwhelmed with what to order! It was a good problem because there were so many great things to choose from! I do recommend ordering a variety of dishes with different spice levels- our tongues were BURNT since we had ordered most dishes as hot as possible. Some of our favorites were the butter chicken, the chilli mogo, lamb chops, and the chilli chicken. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good African ‘spice fest’ as the resto name suggests!
