Chilli Flames in Cardiff

Absolutely delicious. I ordered the fries with chicken and some toppings and it was delicious! Also the portions are huge. I ordered the large meal and couldn't finish 😂. Staff are very friendly too. Please make sure to clean more often the tables.

Can be hit & miss. There’s always an issue when we get a take out. It’s Either burnt or missing items. Last time we had to drive down and get the burnt chicken sorted Out despite ordering from Uber & having home delivery- the inconvenience wasn’t worth driving down to rectify We prefer now to go inside & eat. Sometimes service can be slow but overall the food is nice

Very delicious fast food place with a range of meals on their menu. Good for vegetarian options too. Different types of spices available and quiet lovely atmosphere.

Ordered lunch for 9 people at 12.30, sat and waited …. And waited …. Chased order and waited …. And waited at 2.30 the order was cancelled AVOID they blame the delivery driver fact is they are scammers

Amazing chargrilled chicken, “hot” is great and so is the “medium” spice level! Will try the “very hot” next time! Included BBQ sauce, mayo, ketchup and hot sauce on the side at no extra cost! Big portions for the half chicken! And wings were bigger than I’ve ever seen! Great management as well :) I warned the manager that the bin was full, bin bag was changed immediately :)

Worst burger presentation ever, stale bread, and given chicken burger by mistake insted of veg one. Too dry and very oily food my health got Distrubed after this one burger.....

I had dinner just now and ordered veggie burger got non-veg one. Too oily veggie patty with blend taste no sauces which I told to put extra. Never eat there. Not up to price . Stale pitta today which got broked out 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢when took first bite

I'd give it less than 1 star if I could. This company are criminals. They sell Vouchers through Wowcher and then refuse to honour them at their stores. The staff and manager make up lies how not to give the food with excuses of offer has finished when its still being offered online, the voucher has expired and its not this store excuses when it clearly says on voucher store name and long expiry date. You complain to their head office and they just ignore you. MASSIVE SCAMMERS. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DONT PROVIDE THE FOOD. AVOID AT ALL COST. WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE SERVING AS FOOD IF THEY HAVE NO INTEGRITY.

I remember an episode of Pokemon where Mr.Mime was cooking like salt bae, all the angst, panache and theatrical presentation only to come out with bland food. On the other hand, A Sneasel has presented food that looks like it has been prepared by a uni student that only cooks frozen nuggets and pizza; it turns out Sneasel’s food taste amazing. Chili flames does not need to be 5 star Michelin to be appreciated, it’s straight to the point and it knows it’s good.

Good portions for good prices, you get what you pay. Would come here again😁 Suitable for those who like a decent spice.

Went in yesterday, the place had a very weird smell, which me and friends noticed. I thought the chicken also tasted funny and off, which my friend who ordered also said (and now has food poisoning) as do I, went to the place a lot before, but this has put me off completely and I won't be going again. No phone number to contact so this is my last resort.

I just love chilli flames. Now I'm currently addicted to the chicken rice box. I ABSOLUTELY recommend it

WORST EVER please avoid this place I orderd a chicken meal wen I cut it up it had fresh blood what put me off so I called a waitress over she came showed her. HER reply was I DINT COOK THIS then a waiter came over showed him his reply was this is how we cook it unprofessional staffs are the there are better places to go

I ordered from here today on my lunch break , I waited around 20 mins for just a chicken burger no meal just the burger , by the time it was done I had to go straight back to work to eat it ! When I ate the first bite I notice it tasted funny so I looked at the chicken and noticed that it was pink and part of it was black ,I threw this in the bin ! Absolute waste of time and money , will never go back there ! And will be telling people not to either , very disappointed

What disappoints me more is that when increasing the price of their menu to £8.09 for chicken burger meal, at least Cook the food properly. I noticed they give more fries but the fries were soggy some cooked more than others and part of the chicken burger was pink. I should have taken a picture of the chips and burger. Will avoid in the future as there are plenty more reasonably priced establishments in the vicinity.

Absolutely adorable service. Four times consistently keeping track of how long before the food is cooked; if we are comfortable where we seated; how was the service once food is served and how the food was? I never saw anything like this before and I have seen PLENTY!!! Totally extraordinary

Never eaten here before but was starving after a gig. Really surprised how nice the food was. Ordering was easy and it wasn't too busy. Service was fast

I am lactose intolerant and i specifically asked for no mayo in the wraps I bought but I still received mayo in the wrap and I can't even take it back because I travelled half an just to get this food Thank you so much for wasting my money and time. I believe the staff needs better training as it's not the first time.

Chose to try something different. What a mistake. Kebabs were served cold, so then they microwaved them. "Grilled to perfection first time" - yeah right. Girlfriends came back cold once again. She got her money back. Mine was soggy, the bread was stale and the chicken was undercooked. Other than that it was marvellous. Garbage. Go to McDonalds opposite.

Have tried their chicken a few times now and it tastes good. Worth a shot. Tried their beef burger for the first time, and it’s a definite NO . I had to trash it after my first bite, and I hope I don’t fall ill. Maybe a one off but I will not be trying that again!

Unfortunately food was really bad. Ordered a paninni which turned out to be a baguette heated up ends were rock hard. The fries were oily obviously reheated. The cheese balls were diassapointing (i dont know how you can mess up cheese balls). The only good thing was arrived really quick. Paid 9 pounds for this paninni complete rip off. Lucky i had the uber eats promotion or i would have been proper cheesed off!!

I never usually leave reviews but I had the nicest meal - went here with my family and got the family deal, the food was unbeatable it included 2 half chickens chicken wings, strips, chips wedges onion rings and all for a great price! EXCELLENT food we are big fans of Nando's and we must admit that chilli flames chicken was tastier. And grilled to perfection and added bonus delivered 15 mins early. We had the identical whole chicken platter as Nando's but chilli flames has more of everthing.. i dont do reviews much but i had to for chilli flames. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.. 10/10 luv s x

Overall experience was great. First the food: I ordered a Beef burger at a medium hot level of spice and it was fantastic! The level of spiciness was perfect and the meat was more bulky than your traditional takeaway beef burger like you find at McDonald's. The burgers here are full of flavour and are very juicy, it's nice to get a take out burger cooked on a proper grill! Staff were also friendly and attentive P.S. ask for BBQ sauce, it really is top notch

This is the place I go when I decide to treat myself. I love the taste of the food here. The prices are reasonable too. The staff are friendly and have always been patient when awaiting to take orders. Definitely recommend to anyone. Meat is halal.

Food quality was so nasty, and not as like the same flavour, I order food regularly from this place for me my friends and family, so can able to notice food quality and test, also thay dont know how to treat to customers, I'm really very disappointed, my food was came wrong one after then complain they're just say sorry nothing else.

Went in person and it wasn't bad but tried ordering for delivery via UberEats and I'm absolutely fuming, was kept waiting for nearly 2 hrs only to have my order cancelled!!! No reasons given, if you can't fulfil deliveries why bother giving the option. Complete waste of time, won't be ordering from here again!!!

Ordered the wrap to take out! £3.99! Nice clean facilities and a wash basin which I thought was a nice touch. Unfortunately the wrap was basically pathetic. It was the size of a panini with a miserly amount of chopped up cubes of chicken, & some ice burg lettuce, & what I can only describe as a chilli vinegar sauce which overwhelmed the 2 ingredients inside. Sorry guys really poor show! How can you get something so simple wrong? There was no authenticity to it and could’ve got something better from tesco and warmed it up! Basically That’s what you’re serving..! It’s a shame because first impressions count and you’ll loose customers with this under par standard of service.

Several members of staff behind the counter in the small kitchen serving area not one of them had a mask or gloves on. During a pandemic this does not fill me with confidence about their working practices. We walked straight back out again. Shame as we were really looking forward to eating here.

Wow the best chicken in Cardiff hands down, went with the family deal it had 5 tenders, half a chicken, wings, coleslaw, corn and peri chips, finger licking good! Went to Roosters and was absolutely disgusting! Wish I went here first! Even the coleslaw rivals KFC’s one! Really happy with it!

Surprisingly good falafels & a really nice salad too - for only £4 ... I had a take out - I am thrilled! Delicious olives, the yoghourt mint dressing was "just right" too & lettuce crisp & fresh

Undercooked wedges, crushed and undercooked onion rings and a bottom buns soaked to the point it fell apart and all cold. I used to really like this restaurant but I realise now they don't care about customers anymore. Very poor standards.

This place used to be awesome . However now the super chef cooking fries all day has serious attitude problem . Was given stone cold fries and was told it was my fault after eating one literally as soon as I had my order. Then when I asked for some fresh fries he stood and staring as I received a new batch and said I just wanted to make sure they were hot being sarcastic. Not the first time daddies wee man has had an attitude problem either . Terrible customer service .

Dropped by here after long journey from London as it had good reviews for its halal food. Great food that was cooked perfectly. They knew i was here with the wife for birthday weekend so even wrote a Happy Birthday note when the food came out..they go the extra mile so was a delight to have found this place! I recommend this place to all, it won’t be a rush job and your food will be cooked with great care. Thanks guys!
