Popped in for a quick lunch, excellent food, but bear in mind: A. This place seems to be incredibly popular so be prepared to wait. B. They don't have a lot of space, so it's "cosy"... Having said that, it's well worth it, great food at fast food price.

My favorite place to eat in Bath. Highly recommend the sweet potato noodle soup. The mouth watering chicken and beef are super good too. They only accept cash and the shop and be quite busy in the evening. If I am not mistaken they charge higher for takeaway box.

Was on a 24 hour trip to Bath. I surprisingly came here twice to get the crispy duck (boneless) hot and sour wheat noodle soup (without the nuts). I highly recommend. Only con is that it’s cash only but you won’t regret

Chilli Family Noodles is a fun place with a cosy atmosphere! Tried a variety of noodles - each serving is a real explosion of flavour. Especially impressed with the soups, full of flavour. The service is top notch, the staff is friendly. A small minus for a slightly long wait, but it was worth it.

Got the crispy duck and udon noodle soup. Broth was spicy sour and delicious, duck was perfect. Friendly staff and really fast service. Relaxed atmosphere whether you're going for lunch with friends or a quick bite by yourself. Decent price for the amount of food you get. Couldn't recommend more!!

Was floating around bath for a train when I came across Chilli Family! Cute lil place with the most amazing scent of noodles and other spices coming from it. Went in and ordered. Was welcomed by the chef and others behind the counter. Once I ordered I sat not too long after watching the chef build my meal (crispy duck and noodles) it didn’t take long under 10 minutes and what I received was IMMACULATE! beauty presented and tasted so good. SO GOOD I went for a round 2. And Ordered wan ton Ramen that was just as fantastic. Well done CF noodles! I loved it and will be back! In bath today may pop in again! Amazing tasting food! 1000/10

Finally, Bath gets a legit noodle joint! The stewed beef udon soup had tender beef and all the trimmings including sichuan pepper. Soup was a tad sour but 5* for the speed and excellent menu. Important- cash only!

These guys are the best. Consistent, high quality (broth + meat both excellent), really quick. I have never eaten this food anywhere other than Europe so can't say if its authentic or not but they are legit the best noodle bar I've tried out of maybe 15 places. Maybe not the absolute cheapest but considering how much more expensive everything else has gotten, e.g. even mcdonalds isn't that cheap anymore, and you're getting a full meal, still a good deal. P.S. Chili family employees I want to copy your broth (moved away from bath) pls advice

Very convenient place to grab a bite. Close seating arrangement but if you don’t mind it, then you’ll be glad you stopped to eat here! They have a wide range of dishes and are fast to take your order and serve you. I ordered at the counter and was met with great customer service. They were only cash so I had to grab some from an ATM, which was worth it. I would recommend this place if you are craving a flavory and welcoming dish.

Seriously, this is the best dish I had while visiting Bath. It was cold outside, a perfect time to have hot noodle. I really love it.

Always love a bowl of spicy noodle, food is good, authentic, and not easy to find in Bath. It's a place I would recommend if you are looking for proper western Chinese food taste. However, it's located on the side of the bus station, and next to a public toilet, which is why I am giving 4 stars. It's more like street food style. But as mention, authentic good taste noodle as good as you can get in this town.

Really amazing noodles. Serving time is very fast too. since it is really close to central bus station and railway station, it does get crowded frequently and the seats are very limited

The order is extremely chaotic, the service staff are incapable of management, they do not accept credit cards, and the food is salty. Chinese restaurants in other cities rarely encounter such a disorderly environment, which greatly affects the dining mood.

Great sichuan style noodle restaurant in Bath - food was hot and fresh, service was decent, and the place was busy the entire time (we came in the mid-afternoon). Authentic Chinese food offered a quick and simple meal. Always delicious, fresh and hot. It seems very busy with students and Asian tourists. Convenient as it closes to the bus station and a few minutes' walk to the train station. Very Yummy too. You won't be disappointed!

My girlfriend is from southern China, which means that she absolutely loves noodles! So when we found this place on our short trip to Bath, we made a point of having lunch there both days. The dishes we tried included the beef with wheat noodles, beef with sweet potato noodles, and a cold beef tripe salad. All of the dishes were delicious, and served extremely quickly - the Chinese equivalent of fast food. Prices might seem a little high but this was excellent quality Chinese food in the centre of Bath: the soup bowls were £11 each and very large! And the lady in question said this was among the best noodles she’d had outside China. Service was also very friendly! You should give it a try.

I would totally recommend Chilli Family Noodles, I am personally new to Asian food and I gotta say it really was amazing. Prices are decent, Food is very good, literally nothing to complain about. The positive reviews of this eatery are spot-on. The food is delicious. I took my daughter out for a meal at Chilli Family Noodles on Saturday evening. I ordered the Hot and Sour soup and a Pak Choi side dish. My daughter had a vegetable noodles with a dumpling side dish. The meal arrived quickly and was so delicious. I would go as far as saying, the best Chinese food that I've had in Bath. The venue is quite quirky as the indoor seating area is a narrow triangular wedge, due to the design of the building. This means that if you have to sit near the back, you'll need to literally walk a narrow path between all other tables to get to your seat. This might not suit everyone's tastes, but it should be noted as the place gets very and understandably busy. Prospective diners should also be aware that the venue only accepts cash, so no card or contactless. The food is wonderful. I can't wait to go again.

only tiny problem is the location/ ambience which isnt super great as its pretty much in the bus station but thats not a big deal. the noodles were so yum, the duck was great!! food also came really fast. you also have to either pay with cash or bank transfer them which is kinda odd ig but not a big deal either. will definitely visit again :)

Location is accessible because it’s near the bus station and 2 minutes walk to Southgate Shopping Centre. BUT inside the restaurant, the space is really tight, you can’t move around. Make it sure you bring cash with you because they don’t accept card payment and lastly the food is really really sour (we ordered 4 different dishes). I don’t think i will be back soon.

I wish we'd found the restaurant 3 years ago when we moved here. We've really missed out. It was delicious and you get a generous portion. I got the fried wheat noodles with spare rib and my husband got the udon noodle soup with crispy duck. My dish was delicious and the one piece of duck he let me try was also very very good. Best noodle soup I've ever had. As others have commented, don't let the strange setting put you off. I suspect the location was designed for a cheap bus station cafe next to a set of semi working public toilets. The food however is to die for, you can tell the authenticity when every other person there is speaking in Chinese and all loving their food too. The chefs are really friendly. Make sure to bring cash to pay (fortunately had enough), and we arrived at 11:05 when they opened at 11 and it filled up within 10 mins. Never seen anything like it. Really well priced for the portions too and loads of variety. Would certainly recommend.

Probably one of the best restaurants in Bath, my friends and I had such a great experience here, the food was scrumptious but a little bit spicy for my taste despite of being mild. The eatery had a calm atmosphere. I would advise a few additional decorations, and the restrooms were adequate. Will return to this location in the future. :)

Sour Spicy soup noodles was good - Broth wasn't just vineger! The fried Ho Fun was cooked very well. Recommend you ask for the beef brisket (with fatty bits) as very soft and tasty. The pork ribs were just ok.

It's the most random setting but don't let this put you off... I wasn't a fan of duck before visiting but saw the reviews and challenged myself to try something different. The food was amazing! The crispy duck has converted me and was so good. A main course is £10ish and considering its in bath in a prime location this is value for money as the portions sizes are huge. 10/10 and we will be back!

Let’s talk about our order! 🤔 1) Beef in normal broth with thick noodles 🍜 The broth was rich in flavour and not heavy, you can pretty much finish it after your noodles. The noodles were cooked perfectly, absolutely love it! 2) Sour and Spicy duck noodles 🍜 My bf ordered this and he said it’s one of the tastiest noodles he has ever had. It’s quite spicy but very appetising! 3) NON veg dumplings 🥟 Very enjoyable! I can have all 10 to my self! Al dente dumpling skin wrapped up meaty and juicy fillings! 4) Tripe salad 🥗 It’s an unusual dish, but if you like an appetiser with a little bit of heat. Go for this one!! There’s nothing about tripe that can put you off, just taste like some kind of seafood! Hahah we didn’t get sponsored, but we truly support local restaurants and Chilli family noodles is just AMAZING! 🤩

The foods were good,accessible place for location just the area was too small only few seats.The guy who serves us was accommodating smiling face and approachable.Staffs uniform should be neat and clean as it was not that presentable and the kitchen area should be neat and clean all the time as it was unorganized even how busy they were as I see only two of them (staffs) working amidst busy pace.But overall its good experience just the spicyness of the food was to much that I cant tolerate,maybe Im not fun of spicy.

AMAZING LITTLE GEM OF A PLACE ! Don't make our mistake you need to pay with cash. Appearance is deceptive as it doesn't look all that but the food is absolutely delicious. We had the pork dumplings, Duck noodle dish and udon beef noodles . Oh my goodness we haven't tasted anything that scummy in ages. 10/10 for flavours, perfectly cooked and filling. Very friendly and attentive.

Authentic, fast & friendly service, delicious! I lived in China and can confirm authentic taste, absolutely delicious and fast service. The meat was tender/crispy and the amount enough ( we had duck and beef). We also ordered dumplings and although full we enjoyed those too. The prices are absolutely fine (especially for Bath). Only negative: no beer available ;) Please add Tsingtao to menue
