Very poor service and poor food quality. Takes ages to prepare the food and delivered 1:30hr late. I will not recommend this

Chips are good but the chicken is so unbelievably dry and flavourless.

Can't even take an order ! What is wrong with these people ? They shouldn't be answering calls...

Food turned up 30mins late and stone cold. Shop blamed driver for turning up late to collect my order from the shop to deliver it to my flat. I placed the order at 19:59 for a timed delivery. Not worth it after a hard shift.

Chicken was a little bit dry, but still taste good

Place an order for a meal deal - burger 2 pieces of chicken 2 fries 2 drinks. Burger was missing, phoned up was told we were lying. Very rude and disrespectful person

Ok quality food but poor hygiene as I saw very unhygienic practice twice. The burger was stale, probably from the day before, left over. I have used them many times where service was good except on some occasions. Always got fully cooked and fresh unlike the Bhatti shop nearby which served half cooked food to us. Only one drawback is they are sometimes open at lunch time and sometimes don't. Please get it in order and open for lunch as you are losing business.

Ordered a pizza to be delivered, wasn’t delivered so I phoned they wanted me to re order a minimum then I could get my order basically spend more money coz they didn’t have drivers -no chance! So they wouldn’t give me my order or refund me but had the cheek to say they could credit me if I ordered some time again are they mad! Didn’t get my first order so why am I going to order again that’s insane. I will avoid this place and never order from here again

I'll highly NOT recommended this dry chicken club. If you want to try how dry it is, please go ahead. I don't even know why i want to order a combo meals. I'm guessing I'm just wanted to eat something. That's totally the worst fried chicken i ever had. Lastly, gosh i want my money back lol...!!!!!

Decent chicken shop!! I ordered spicy chicken wings but it was all drumstick. Not spicy for me.. Quite tasty and good for value. Service was quick only waited for 5 mins. They have sink downstairs it was a good experience to eat chicken wings by the window

Service is super slow, there's a lot of waiting so be prepared for that. Customer service wasnt amazing as they were quite short tempered.

Best food quality and value of money

Ordered a delivery and it took 30-40 mins longer than the estimated time to arrive. So when I went to check if everything was there, I noticed I was missing the wings from my munch box, I had ordered 2 and didn't get any wings at all. I phoned up chicken club and the guy on the phone just told me that they forgot and they will add wings for me the next time I order. I told him that's ridiculous, I told him I wanted them now because that's the whole reason I ordered and he hung up the phone on me.

Good taste, we got pizza and chicken wings.

Nice food, value for the money 💰 giving 4 stars just because they did not had any wings that day and its cash only luckily the cash machine is just across the road. One of the Only few places in Edinburgh that are open late.

This used to be our fav place to eat but gone downhill recently. the new guys are running the place down. the counter staff attitude stinks. made an order on phone to be collected. went in to collect and they said 5 more minutes like mate there is a reason why people phone ahead to save time. Also confirmed how much will it be. but the guy never mentioned they are cash only. means i had to waste more time get cash from a machine and collect my order. if it wasnt for my sister in hospital i would have just walked out and left the order. Never again Chicken Club. You just lost another loyal customer.

Ordered goods which supposed to be delivered by 5:17pm but not delivered @ 5:35pm. Called them and explained that child is crying bec he is hungry,the guy from shop said it's fine.we have to wait another 15min!!! This shop become a joke now!!! I won't order foods anymore from them for delivery.

Order food from here with Delivero app last night, food never arrived and nobody give me a refund, what a shame. Try to call this place, didn’t pick up. How it is even possible?

Third time I’ve had chicken that’s been lying there for a while. So not fresh It’s a shame As it’s really nice when it’s fresh But I’ve had to throw away more than half as it wasn’t fresh. And it’s not the first time this has happened

A walk-in off the street. Food was fresh cooked and seriously tasty. Wish I lived closer to visit more often.

The perfect colon cleanser. Chicken club used to be great but it seems they specialise in laxatives now. The chips were little yellow wet batons and the wraps were wet and not folded at either end, quite odd. The wrap didn't taste bad in honesty however I knew from the get go what was gonna go down (/out). Wings were OK if you like the crispy fried kind. decent amount of meat and not dry. The next morning was pain.

Excellent all rounder. KFC taste, with the guilt of eating such food. Listen to the customer, do what they can to accompany tastes. Fast service, brilliant customer service. 11/10 👌🏻✌🏻

My son and I stayed at the nearby Holiday Inn and decided on a Takeaway during our last night. We weren't disappointed. My son said his Pizza had a lovely base and wasn't full of grease like most takeaways. I had three pieces of Chicken and Fries. They were also nice and I'd quite happily order from them again next time I stay in Edinburgh.

Food was 50/50, burger was excellent but the pizzas could go one level up. It was really a mix of good and bad. I preferred from here 2 days ago as a delivery.

As a University student in Edinburgh I look for a place to order quick food, high quality and low price and chicken club has it all. From there double burger meal to there supreme fillet burgers I can honestly say that this is some of the best fast food I have eaten in edinburgh. Amazing food for a very reasonable price. I order from here at least every week now.

My partner ordered the meat feast pizza and I got the sizzler burger meal and we were both happy with what we ordered Edit: not knocking the food as it's still good but after tonight's performance with the delivery driver I'm afraid they've just lost a customer. Ordered through just eat with my correct address being on the just eat site, delivery driver phones to say he's outside with order so my partner goes to collect it but no sign of delivery driver so my partner comes back in and says he isn't out there. The delivery driver then phones back and I said my partner has just been outside and you aren't there. The driver then precedes to say with a very bad attitude that I've given the wrong address and he's outside number 44 (I live at 34 which is right on just eat). Safe to say when we eventually found the delivery driver I told him that his attitude wasn't called for and I would be making a complaint to his boss as i don't like being called a liar when it was his mistake

Ive been eating from chicken club for a few years now. The burger are amazing which with flavour and great choice on the manu. Good seating area as well. They need to improve there time managment, everytime i come for a collection they give me a time when it will be ready and when i come to the take-a-way, that's when they put the burgers in the oven and fryer. I am not much of a tomato fan and everytime i tell them no Tomato they managed to put tomatos in.

Great takeaway food and friendly staff.

This place used to be great, but it's really gone down hill. Not only is it more expensive to collect, which I could have lived with, but they gave me exactly what I told them I could not eat, meaning 3/4 of the food I paid for will go in the bin. I even explained twice to be sure I was understood. I went into the shop because delivery notes usually get ignored and my order is regularly incorrect. Looking for a new chicken place sadly! Pic is of the food I cannot eat. What a waste of food and money!! Also, they didn't provide sauce this time so had to make my own. Sad, as the guys are quite friendly but I can't keep trying if my order is rarely right.

Food taste good but the service is pathetic.

Fair prices, decent service and food is nice as well. 2 x 10” pizzas, 4 wings, 2 fries, 2 drinks for £15. Can’t really complain..

We placed an order through deliveroo, accidentally selecting real chicken rather than vegan chicken. We phoned the restaurant almost less than a minute after ordering to swap to vegan. This apparently wasn’t possible. We were told the only way to fix was to cancel the order, and this also wasn’t possible. Awful customer service, staff were unhelpful and simply rude. first and last time we will order from this restaurant.

Just got a zinger burger , a ham and pineapple pizza and a stack burger and have received it and tastes 10/10 would definitely recommend food came on time as well . Food on time and delivery and people who work in the shop are nice . Will be definitely going back

Staff wasn't co operative at all. If you want to change your order after 2 seconds of placing it. you can't. some chicken shop it is. I paid cash, told staff to change it, he said you can't thn I said cancel it and take the new order, he said if you cancel it you will get the money tomorrow. I came from London and this is literally the first for me. what a weird shop

Always get a cheeseburger and nuggets here the cheeseburger is always piping hot and fresh and prices good

Ordered a few things and didn’t receive things in the order (juice) which was all paid for. Phoned up to ask why we didn’t receive it and they said they’d sent out another driver with the rest of the order - another driver never came. Avoid.

Terrible service. Rude staff. Do not order from here unless you want to be disappointed. This franchise on S.Clerk Street puts the Chicken Club brand to shame.

Very rude and unprofessional service. We ordered from here on May 1st directly through their website and the order was accepted. Afterward, we receive a call saying its best if we order from another of their branches. Keep in mind they had already accepted the order online. We asked what about the money? Hasif said the other store will refund you. So we called the other store, they said no the other store would refund us! Oh.. okay? So we placed our order with the other branch and called back to this one at S. Clerk Street. This time Hasif said we would get a refund on Monday. It's now Saturday and no refund in sight. We called back and were asked some basic details about our order before being hung up on. The store is now not receiving any of our calls. Very poor treatment of customers as well as it appears being deliberately misleading during a pandemic!

Had very bad experience, we ordered one and half peri peri chicken meal, they gave us two small fries , two sachet of ketchup and one sachet of mayo. We had doubt so we requested for more ketchup and mayo still they didn't provide.

Nice and friendly, good menu. Had chicken burger which was a whole breast of succulent and well cooked chicken. Great service from order to the food arriving to out table. Still worthy of 5 stars will be back, soon! Very friendly staff

Tasty alternative to the other big brand chicken place. They offer a wide variety of great value items.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Disgusting food, pretty sure the chicken gave me food poisoning as I was up ill all night. This combined with the rude and ignorant staff left me with one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a takeaway/restaurant.

Ordered takeaway, pizza wasn’t as it was described (was missing pineapple olives sweet corn and mushrooms which it said it would have) and there was jalapeños on it which was not part of the description - as I am allergic to them I could not eat my pizza. Also gave me the wrong dip. Disappointed

Decent food, just a bit overpriced

This place is hit or miss with its food. At times more often than not, the chicken is served cold. It seems they just cook too much in one go and don't manage to demand. On my last visit, when I did bring the attention to staff that the food was cold, all that was done was it was just thrown back into the frier to be reheated. Also, customer experiance at times can be the best you had or the worst you would ever experience. Really depends on who is behind the till. What is also very disappointing is their false advertisement in the food description. Their pizza the "asian mixed pizza" says it comes with mince, but was very dissapointed that when served there was no mince at all. There was no mention at all when ordering that they no longer add mince to their pizzas. Feels like there is a drive to save on cost from amending the menu over meeting customer expectations. Once this is addressed, the experience of coming to chicken club would be much better.

Terrible customer service I have ever had to compel me to write a review! Went for more than 10 mins and left without even being asked what I wanted to order while I was standing in front of the guy who was there who was one a phone. He served his friend who came after me talking to him despite being on a phone. Definitely would highly not recommended it to anyone. It used to be good, but the guy who is running the place most of the times nowadays should get replace imo (assuming he is not the owner :) Another time I went there and ordered things on menu and he didn't give me my full order until I asked him that's when he started them and had to wait again.

Tried the peri peri chicken which was well seasoned and cooked. Prices were reasonable too, indie dressing available although the majority of orders I observed were for delivery.

I have ordered a few times from here now and the first couple of times couldn't fault the place good food and customer service if they didn't have something they would call and give us something the same. But now it seems to be going down hill placed an order last week took an hour and 45 minutes to come upon calling the shop kept getting told it would be here or will be 5 minutes but wasnt the case and the staff member was rude, when it did arrive stuff was missing. Decided to give them a second chance and order was incorrect was told they will send up correct things but was still sitting 45 minutes later and nothing arrived not to mention was told that next time we ordered we would get the missing stuff as would put it on system but got nothing

Visited for lunch (I only get a short lunch break from work so speed is the need) this place was reasonably busy for the time of day (I suspect evening s & pub kicking out time might be busier) service was reassuringly fast even though the fries were cooked fresh. The chicken was tasty & unlike certain large franchises of finger liking goodness was no overly greasy, the batter has a lovely slow release spiciness which sits with you for a while after you have finished. They do meal deals which include a real canned drink as apposed to cheap syrup gun stuff you get in the big take outs. I’ll be back for lunch again.

Half grilled chicken with chips, salad and a can of juice £6! Not just cheap and cheerful but one of the best grilled chickens I’ve had around EDINBURGH. Very nice and highly recommend it

Never had a bad meal here. Chicken is always good, guys who work there are always nice and polite. I'd pick this over KFC any day!!
